Dear Gus,
As I mentioned before, I’m set to co-chair the next SMPS Southern Regional Conference, but apparently when they sent my info into the national organization, they finally picked up on the fact that I haven’t ever joined. So I had to join an organization on the fly, and I had to pick one within the Southern Region (Arkansas falls into the Missouri Valley Region), so today I joined the Southeast Louisiana Chapter. When I showed up to the chapter photo, some of these people were like, “Who is that guy?”

Repo/ comments of media : Xiao Zhan 2022 Asian Games Countdown Appearance 🤍

Just before he came out, everyone was obediently watching. The hostess came up with , "the moment you are most looking forward to ”, and then you can faintly hear the sound of XZ coming from the pitch-black fields, ah!
As soon as Xiao Zhan appeared on the stage, more than 80% of the people I could see from the side of the scene took out their mobile phones — regardless of male, women, old and young; a large group of guards and photographers rushed to the front, and the media area was directly empty; a certain VIP seat can also be used. Seeing the illuminated mobile phone screen; the volunteers and uncle security guards who maintained order and guidance were also affected by the movement of lifting the mobile phone.
(..) XZ is funny he ran as soon as he finished singing.
Comments from media:
"Among all the stars I have photographed, his bone structure and state are at the top."
"He is good at capturing shots and his stage performance is very good."
"Very masculine looks, full of traditional masculinity, but the restrained temperament is perfect and his impact is too strong. "
"I don't have to stay up late to edit the picture tonight. He has basically no problem with his picture. I told other colleagues and friends. It's a very pleasant shooting experience”
"Xiao Zhan has too many active fans, and the girls in the media area basically like him."

PERSONA - making of
Delve into the depths of our creation:
Hollie (director/writer) –
This week I took on the role of the director and also the role of the writer. As the director it was my job to make sure the narrative of the film was fluent and could be somewhat understood throughout the course of the film. This week we had to imitate a clip from Ingmar Bergmans film ‘Persona’ (1966). For this we decided that we didn’t want to use dialogue in our film, and instead we wanted to use non-diegetic sounds to set the tone. I think making a film without dialogue is quite a challenging task.
I was also allocated the role of the script writer as I wanted to challenge myself. I found it rather difficult to create a script without including any dialogue. I had to take into consideration the wording of my script, so it didn’t sound like I was directing my script by telling the cinematographer the camera angles we should use. To get around this, I tried to describe what was happening without forcing the emotions onto the actor and camera angles onto the cinematographer. Below is an Example
Overall, I think the film came together nicely, the shots Tom took were absolutely stunning and I was extremely happy with the outcome of this film and the aesthetic Maja created with the shots.
Sabine (producer) - This week it was my task to organise the team and schedule our work, keep everyone on track. Tom was this week's delegated actor, because he had the best lighting, which was this week's main focus. Hollie's script and Maja's storyboards were essential for the production process to go smoothly, and to make our work even more efficient, in addition I created a shot list to help Tom stay on track with all the shots he needed to film and for Solomon to have another type of outline for the edit. Each week we get better at communicating and working together, making all processes of production more and more efficient. Our work was well organised - all pre-production work was done throughout the weekend, so Tom could do all the filming on Monday, which gave Solomon enough time to edit and perfect the final version after considering our feedback.
I think most of our shots turned out the way we imagined them and everyone did a great job. In future films we should think more about mise-en-scène, because some shots had items in the background that took away immersion from the uneasy, abstract tone of the film, like this one
Maja (cinematographer) - For this week's film, I was responsible for cinematography. Persona was heavily influenced by the scene from Bergman’s film with the same title, specifically the interrogation scene. It is characterized by powerful, dramatic lighting which emphasizes body features and creates an intimidating atmosphere. We decided that we will change the plot focusing on the story about the abuse in the household. In terms of aesthetic, I wanted it to be as close to the original. I drew storyboards creating a sense of light that could help during filming. Tom used a very strong source of light to achieve the effect seen in the film, as well as filler lights to soften certain parts. Using storyboards we achieved a consistent and fluent story visually with a lack of any dialog that has a powerful impact on the viewer.

Tom (actor) - Persona this week meant It was my turn to get the shots. I was anxious as the most important element of this was the lighting. Luckily, I own two Elgato desk lights which enabled me to closely imitate the shots needed. Although this was not an easy task. The difficult problem I found was lighting the back wall and myself without lighting making my whole face visible. We began using the two desk lights behind me and then two smaller lights in front of my face. However, this was frustrating as my face was still not darkening. So, I attempted again with one desk light on facing upwards, behind me and then one for my face. This finally worked, although I wish I had larger room to experiment with more. Throughout this week, I have found a new love for lighting. This exercise has really shown me how important light is within shots and how it can completely change the way a film is portrayed. This has been my favourite film so far.

Solomon (editor) - Within this week, I took on the role of editor, using my skills on Adobe Premiere Pro to montage together the shots of the film. A vital aspect of the editing this week was to imitate the cutting between shots in the same way that Ingmar Bergman establishes in his film Persona.
My role within the film was to cut the shots together in a smooth way that resembled that of Bergman’s film. This meant cutting between shot-reverse-shot regularly, as well as fixing any issues such as blur or noise in the post-production too. Another job in my post-production period of this film was to transform the film into monochrome by dictating saturation and exposure on Premiere, in order to imitate the lighting and colouring in the original.
I also had to create a soundscape in post-production, an originality that came about in our own film that was not imitated from Bergman’s. Taking inspiration from the German expressionism movement, and the juxtaposition between picture and sound in films such as The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (1920), I created an expressionist soundtrack, that used both ambient drones and foley sounds to emphasise and exaggerate both the story and the feeling of discomfort within the audience. One particular part of this was the recording of foley sounds, such as whispering and parakeet birds chattering, both of which I edited in post-production using reverb and reversing them, in order to create an entirely different use of sound. I layered these together and the result was effective, giving our imitation of Persona a greater horror-theme and also adding to the use of expressionism used throughout too. In my opinion, I think the sound was what made the shots come to life, increasing in volume and pitch and cutting out sharply at intense bits, such as the male character hitting the female character.

New from Kevin Wozniak on Kevflix: Top 5 – Movies Coming Out in November
Usually when making this list, a list I have been doing monthly for three years, I have a relatively easy time picking which movies should make the cut. Sometimes I’m forced to snub one or two, but usually the five are pretty easy to pick. This month was the opposite of that. There are over fifteen films coming out in November that I am excited for, which is kind of insane. We got horror movies, animated movies, gangster movies, thrillers, comedies, all sorts of movies from all genres from some of the best directors working in the game today working with some of the greatest actors and actresses ever. It’s a very exciting month and the five movies on this list are titles you should all have on your radar this month. Here are my picks for the most exciting movies coming out in November.
*BONUS* – THE IRISHMAN (Martin Scorsese, November 1)
Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman is a Netflix movie that will be available on the streaming service starting November 27th. However, the film is also getting a small theatrical run in certain theaters before the Netflix drop. This is a movie that you should see in theaters. While I love that fact that Netflix gave Scorsese complete freedom to make a three-and-a-half-hour long gangster epic with $150 million-plus budget, a cast of cinematic legends, and top of the line de-aging technology, Martin Scorsese films are films that must be seen on the big screen and The Irishman is no different. It’s a sprawling epic about life, time, and loyalty and a new gangster classic from Scorsese. This is the best movie I have seen in 2019.
And now, the official top five.
5 – FROZEN II (Chris Buck & Jennifer Lee, November 22)
The first Frozen was an absolute juggernaut, becoming the most successful animated film at the world wide box office ($1.27 billion, respectively), winning an Oscar, two Grammy’s, and introducing a new kind of princess to a new generation of young girls. I am excited to see what they do next. I am excited to the improvement in the animation, where the story will go, and if they can possibly make a song to top the iconic “Let It Go”. Frozen II has the potential to be the best animated movie of 2019.
4 – A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD (Marielle Heller, November 22)
The pitch on why A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood should be on your radar is simple: Tom Hanks stars as Mr. Rogers. That’s it. That’s the pitch and that is why everyone is going to see this movie. But other than Hanks, who is simply perfect for the part of seemingly one of the nicest, sweetest, purest human beings to ever live on planet Earth, I’m excited to see the work of director Marielle Heller. Heller, who made her debut in 2015’s The Diary of a Teenage Girl, really made a splash with last year’s Can You Ever Forgive Me?, which earned three Oscar nominations and put Heller’s name on the map. I’m excited to see her work with Hanks and see what kind of magic the two conjure up together.
3 – DARK WATERS (Todd Haynes, November 22)
A lot of Oscar players have already premiered at one film festival or another. However, there are still a few films that could come through and shake up the already foggy Oscar race. Todd Haynes Dark Waters is one of those films. In what looks like a mix of Spotlight and A Civil Action, Dark Waters looks at corporate defense attorney (the always great Mark Ruffalo) who takes on an environmental lawsuit against a chemical company that exposes a lengthy history of pollution. Haynes is one of the best directors working today, always making movies that are smart, emotional, visually stunning, and riveting. I’m excited to see what Haynes does in the political thriller genre and to see how he works with Ruffalo and the rest of the cast.
2 – FORD V FERRARI (James Mangold, November 15)
These next two films on the list I have already seen and both are in my ten best movies of the year. Ford v Ferrari is a true American sports movie. A red, white, and blue underdog story that is funny, exciting, and full of moments that will make you want to stand up and cheer. Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in this true story about the Ford Motor Company’s efforts to defeat Ferrari at 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966. Both Damon and Bale are in top form, as in Tracy Letts, who plays Henry Ford Jr. and could make an Oscar play at the end of the year. This is movie I could watch a million times and one I am excited to see again.
1 – KNIVES OUT (Rian Johnson, November 27)
I might be able to watch Ford v Ferrari a million times, but I could watch Knives Out two million times. Rian Johnson’s follow-up to his brilliant, yet divisive entry in the Star Wars franchise, The Last Jedi, is the most fun I’ve had at the movies in 2019. A smart, funny, thrilling whodunit featuring an outstanding writing, the best ensemble of the year, and an ending you won’t soon forget. Knives Out is a true blast and Johnson is the ringleader behind the mastery. From a director who’s made other brilliant films like Brick, Looper, and The Last Jedi, this might be his crowning achievement.

Keep in mind when watching the debates this year, that what politicians say has been shown to have little to no correlation with what they actually do when elected. There's only 2 ways to tell what they will do.
1) Look at who they take money from
2) Look at how they voted in the past. Especially on important issues like the Iraq War or The Green New Deal
The potential loopholes in these 2020 campaign finance pledges
Some of these pledges can still be subverted. Disavowing corporate (fossil fuel or otherwise) PAC money does not mean disavowing support from individual CEOs and executives, though some campaigns added them to their pledge. There are plenty of people in Washington who still wield influence and persuade officials without actually being registered as lobbyists.
Closed-door, high-dollar fundraisers remain perhaps the most pernicious means of influence in modern-day politics, and most of the Democratic candidates have still been participating in those, as the Washington Post’s Michelle Ye Hee Lee recently documented.
But even there, a few candidates stand out: Warren has promised she will not attend any exclusive gatherings like that as part of her platform to weed out corporate influence in US politics. Sanders has also disavowed any high-dollar private events and any donor perks.
“I’m not taking a dime of PAC money in this campaign. I’m not taking a single check from a federal lobbyist. I’m not taking applications from billionaires who want to run a Super PAC on my behalf. And I challenge every other candidate who asks for your vote in this primary to say exactly the same thing,” Warren said when announcing her candidacy.
Even the no-Super PAC promise isn’t perfect; Cory Booker said he didn’t want Super PAC support, but a wealthy Democratic donor started one backing his candidacy anyway. And because of the rules prohibiting coordination between campaigns and Super PACs, there technically wasn’t much Booker could do about it.
Those soft spots are why Fischer regards the rejection of closed-door, high-dollar fundraisers as the gold standard for campaign finance pledges. Even if we were to give candidates the benefit of the doubt, their attendance at those private events where participants had to spend thousands of dollars to join is going to skew — intentionally or not — their views on what issues are important and what should be done about them.
“The only people inside can write a $2,800 check. They get face time with the candidates. The candidate spends an inordinate amount of time with donors, hearing about their concerns and pitching themselves as someone who is going to be responsive to those concerns,” Fischer says. “Even the best-intentioned candidate is going to be affected by that.”
Joe Biden’s recent comments reassuring donors that “nothing will fundamentally change” for wealthy people under a Biden presidency were made at a fundraiser; his campaign does allow press to cover those events, however.
Warren and Sanders were the only candidates to swear off such events in their response to Vox. The one private event that the Vermont senator held had tickets available for $27, the Washington Post reported, not a huge barrier for middle- or working-class voters who want to attend.

Liverpool uncovered: Simon Mignolet on losing his place to the best keeper he’s ever seen
Liverpool suffered a heartbreak in Barcelona on Wednesday night, but their quest to win the Premier League is still alive. It has been a remarkable campaign and with 91 points on the board, they will chase Manchester City all the way to the line.
Ahead of Saturday's crucial trip to Newcastle, long-serving goalkeeper Simon Mignolet told Sportsmail the story of the season from the players' perspective.
The Belgian has been on the journey every step of the way, seeing the highs and lows, and knows Liverpool can still dream.
Simon Mignolet has an important presence in the field for Liverpool this campaign
The Belgian believes the group at Anfield have what it takes to be champions one day
DREAMING BIG
After reaching the Champions League final last May, Liverpool made four big summer signings and enjoyed a fruitful start to the season. The key moment for the squad, though, was the night Paris Saint-Germain came to town in September and were tasks apart.
SIMON MIGNOLET: It all started so well. We had four victories before the first international break. When we came back we had Tottenham at Wembley and PSG at home in the Champions League, two of the best teams in the world in quick succession.
We beat Spurs 2-1, then scored three against PSG and blew them away. If we could play like that against Edinson Cavani, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, why couldn't we do it to everyone else? We knew, there and then, we didn't need to be afraid of anyone.
We had a good run in the previous season but we knew people would wonder if we could sustain it. So that game was the benchmark. That's where it all started.
Mignolet spoke exclusively to Sportsmail's Dominic King about Liverpool's season so far
SQUAD UNITY
Jurgen Klopp has stressed how well run Liverpool's dressing cream is. Mignolet's role may have changed over the last 12 months but he is an important member behind the scenes and the inclusive atmosphere has been crucial to maintaining form.
SM: I've never been in a dressing room where there is no trouble at some stage.
There's always going to be something where someone doesn't talk to someone else or they don't get on.
Alongside his prolific goalscoring, Sadio Mane also tries to make his team-mates laugh
But that's not the case with this squad. It's been that way for a year. Nobody is talking behind anyone's back, nobody has a grudge.
Sadio Mane always tries to be the joker but his jokes aren't always funny – people ended up laughing with him, rather than at the joke he made!
There's a lot of banter going on … Robbo (Andy Robertson), Milly (James Milner), Virg (Virgil van Dijk) – it comes from all sides.
Mignolet also identified James Milner (left) and Andrew Robertson as two of the biggest jokers
WORRYING TIMES
It's easy to look at Liverpool's results and think progress has been smooth, but that's not the case. Autumn brought some below-standard league performances and poor results in the Champions League. A 2-0 defeat at Red Star Belgrade was a line in the sand.
SM: October and November was a rough patch. We lost to Napoli away, drew with Manchester City at home, drew at Arsenal and then lost to Belgrade. Everything that could have gone wrong that night did go wrong.
The main thing that came out of it was doubt. The manager was so unhappy. We stayed over in Belgrade and the big question we asked was: "Why are we doing this?" It turned out to be a game we learned more from. We had to make sure it didn't happen in the Premier League.
A shock defeat at Red Star Belgrade proved to be a significant turning point
DEFINING DAYS
Lift-off for Liverpool came on December 2, when they dramatically beat Everton 1-0 in the Merseyside derby with an injury-time goal from Divock Origi. The victories that resonated most, however, will come as a surprise.
SM: I don't show my feelings a lot but when Divock scored I jumped off the bench! I was sat next to Adam Lallana and James Milner and the noise at the stage was incredible. That win was huge.
But I will pick another three out: Brighton away in January. We had two lost games against Manchester City and Wolves, and the match was dead, no chances for either team. Then Mo (Salah) scored a penalty. A week later, we beat Crystal Palace 4-3. A crazy game but so, so important. Those six points were massive. One slip and it makes a hell of a difference. Then recently we had Cardiff.
Like Belgrade, everything was set up there for us to fail. A dry pitch, 30-degree heat. What we did that day to win 2-0 made it one of our best performances.
Mignolet identified Divock Origi's late Merseyside derby winner as a 'huge' moment
MAGICAL MO
Salah has enjoyed another outstanding season and could well retain the Golden Boot. If he does, Mignolet will have his bit to help done.
SM: He sits next to me on the coach when we travel to games. He asks me about penalties and what ideas the opposition goalkeeper will have. I'll tell him he should do this or that. We practice penalties the day before a game and we work together.
I try to do the same as the keeper he will face the next day, to make it as realistic as possible.
The big thing about Mo? He is a cult hero in Egypt. People forget how big a figure he is in the Muslim world.
Mohamed Salah could win the Golden Boat again after another outstanding scoring season
We went to Dubai in January for a training camp and he was everywhere. He's like a statue.
He carries all that on his shoulders and he does it so well, like the pressure is nothing. He's down to earth, still the same guy as he was when he signed. Everywhere we go there is attention for him.
When there are crowds around the coach shouting 'Salah! Salah! " we join in with them and make it funny.
But he has an example to give. He has got so much talent but he works so hard to help.
Mignolet praised the way the Egyptian forward handles all of the pressure of his status
PERSONAL ANGUISH
Mignolet has not played in the Premier League this season. The £ 65million signing of Alisson Becker made him No 2 but he has blocked out any personal disappointment. His attitude is so good that both Klopp and Milner have highlighted his role.
SM: Me and my missus are building a house in Spain. I speak a few languages and last year we decided to take Spanish lessons. Then Ali came and I don't need lessons any more if I speak Spanish with him!
As a goalkeeper, you learn from the guys you work with. He is Brazil No 1 ahead of Ederson. The main difference between the two is that Ali is probably better with his hands. He's the most complete goalkeeper I've seen in my career. He is so calm.
Not playing is the hard bit, the feeling of being on the pitch at the end when you've won is what I miss most. I understand how people who don't play stop doing their work. That's why I push myself every day. I get in the gym at 9am. The boys must look at me and think, "What's that idiot doing there again?"
Alisson is established as Liverpool's first-choice stopper and Mignolet called him 'complete'
THE FINAL ACT
Mignolet was part of the last Reds squad who challenged for the title, in 2014. Whatever happens in the next week, he believes this group has what it takes to be champions one day.
SM: The manager is perfect for the club. His vision and his character embodied what the fans live for. The style of play we have is what the supporters want, they want to see fire. They want to see Liverpool pushing, fighting.
It would be strange – and very frustrating – if we didn't win anything, but the only thing that would stop it is the opposition (Manchester City) being so good . All credit to them if that's the case. The amount of points we've accumulated would mean we are champions in a normal year.
We've been through the process to get where we want to be and the squad have grown. We should get something one day.
Mignolet was a part of Liverpool's 2014 title-challenging side and played in defeat by Chelsea

New Post has been published on Otaku Dome | The Latest News In Anime, Manga, Gaming, Tech, and Geek Culture
New Post has been published on https://otakudome.com/bleach-howl-from-the-jaws-of-hell-review/
Bleach: Howl From the Jaws of Hell Review
Bleach has made a grand return to manga as a new arc celebrating it’s 20th anniversary has begun. Mangaka Tite Kubo once again takes over the story which takes place following the events of the series original run from 2001 to 2016. In the new arc Ichigo Kurosaki (now married to Orihime with a son named Kazui) has been invited to a ceremony taking place in Soul Society by Renji Abarai (now married to Rukia with a daughter named Ichika). As the ceremony gets underway Soul Society is attacked by new and old enemies alike.
Bleach: Howl From the Jaws of Hell is a 2021 one-shot continuation of the 2001 manga series Bleach. It is written and illustrated by Tite Kubo, and published by Viz Media & Shonen Jump in English. The one-shot is available for free on the Shonen Jump app.
Editor’s Note: Near complete spoilers for Bleach: Howl From the Jaws of Hell and the overall Bleach series may be present within this review.
Bleach returns with a brand new arc.
After four years of dormancy Bleach is making a comeback to the now mainstream anime and manga world. With the anime coming back to cover the Thousand-Year Blood War finale now’s the perfect time to test the waters with the return of the source material. Manga has had a major surge in popularity and it often felt like Bleach got a bum deal on the cusp of it’s endgame as the rise of the manga (and anime) industry began. Tite Kubo is now taking this opportunity with what very much appears to be a test pilot of sorts for a direct Bleach sequel.
Tite Kubo prepares for the next era of Bleach.
THE GOOD: Ten or so years have passed since the original ending of Bleach. Ichigo has essentially retired as a pseudo-Soul Reaper and has settled down & married Orihime Inoue with whom he has a young son named Kazui. Despite his retirement he still frequently communicates with his friends and allies in Soul Society which has became much more technologically advanced with T.V.s and smart devices now present within the world. Renji & Rukia’s daughter Ichika has been training in Soul Society to be a Soul Reaper under Ikkaku Madarame and has seemingly grown attached to Ichigo & Orihime’s son Kazui. Ichigo meets up with Renji in Soul Society where he helps out with the ceremony.
Upon the ceremony going underway they’re attacked by revived enemies who have seemingly escaped from hell. This includes the revived and hollowed Szayelaporro Granz. Granz meeting Ichigo for the first time wants to find Uryu. Ichigo, slightly surprised Granz is aware of who he is begins to interrogate him. Granz claims that the jaws of hell have opened up and the dead souls will once again rise before disappearing. Back at Karakura Town Kazui has snuck out again and witnesses hell butterflies roaming the area.
While the one-shot is a gift for fans in celebration of it’s anniversary and the upcoming revival of the anime the true intentions of “Howls From the Jaws of Hell are pretty clear. It’s a test run to see if a revival of the source material is viable. Considering the moderate success of spinoff series Burn the Witch and the interest gained with the one-shot’s announcement I’d say now is probably the best time to go all in on the series as much as you can. Anime and manga revivals have been very big with classic series such as Inuyasha and Digimon recently finding success in said areas. The source material returning on the heels of the anime would likely find greater success with Bleach possibly even making a return to the top of Shounen Jump/Shueisha’s biggest series.
In regards to the one-shot itself, I think it was smart to have it focus almost completely on the newer world building aspects that have occurred since the finale. It paces itself very well with the introduction to new world elements and characters. There’s a noticeable balance between the original story & world and pitch for a would be sequel. This is something that’s often missed with sequel series either on purpose or through poor writing. Though to be fair some creators prefer their sequels to focus more on new world elements and other times it’s a demand of the publisher/studio/etc. The art is some real neat macabre stuff which is kind of signature for Bleach. But from my memory it’s not usually this heavy which leads me to believe that this is going to be a much darker direction for the sequel.
THE BAD: The arc is admittedly rather fast paced at 73 pages. However, considering this is meant to sell the potential of a direct sequel that can be forgiven.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: Bleach is back and healthier as a franchise now more than ever. The revival of the anime to cap off the canon to a proper finale was merely the beginning. Tite Kubo & Shueisha have big plans in store for the long-running franchise with many, many years added to it’s lifespan. Otaku Dome gives Bleach: Howl From the Jaws of Hell an 80 out of 100.

the spaces, noting that everyone had adhered to outfit and appeared to be enjoying themselves. There were 2 champagne fountains set up centrally and the buffets held warming trays with magnificently prepared, gourmet

I don't believe I've seen you since Singapore? ""Well, Alec, you're looking fine as usual. Constantly very fit. Any brand-new deals you can let me in on? Yes, I think it was Singapore." "John, you don't imply to tell me your instincts are

her. I moved on." Alec! I hear you've taken on a brand-new protégé." I nodded and looked toward the staircase. Callie had not boil down yet and I questioned if she was getting cold feet."Yes Robert, as a matter of reality I have. Do not attempt to take her from me, now promise?" "As good as all that, is she

I was fairly particular once people satisfied her, the question would come behind my back whether she was my company protégé or mistress. Let them think what they desire, I thought to myself.
Callie would set them straight.I felt before I heard, the raised pitch in the discussion undertones. I understood something was taking place and looked toward the staircase. Sure enough, Callie was boiling down and there wasn't a word strong enough to explain how beautiful she was.She had interpreted the pirate theme to include female pirates. The majority of the women there were dressed in 19th-century ball gowns, playing the role of the recorded girlfriend or ready stowaway the pirates would utilize for their pleasure. But not my Callie. Her gorgeous, long legs were enclosed in black leather, the waist increasing higher and ending just listed below her bosom. She used a full-sleeved blouse, collected at the shoulder and ballooning over her long arms prior to clutching her wrists in crystal studded bands. Its collars lay large open, cut deeply below her décolletage, the suntanned mounds of her perfect breasts hugging one another in that curtained stage. Her long blonde hair had been drawn high above
her neck, cascading in curls below her black, pirate's hat. It, too, was studded with gleaming crystals. Black, high-heeled leather boots reviewed where her pantaloons ended and a cummerbund of crimson velour emphasized her tiny waist. Every male in the room made a desire and every woman frowned. She was a wicked girlfriend of the night and she was mine. She waved at me over the heads of the crowd and I nodded and motioned her forward. Individuals parted to make her course as she came toward me. There was no requirement to hush the crowd, they were already quiet with gratitude. "Ladies and gentlemen, I wish to present my assistant and protégé, Ms. Callie Courtney. I have actually been fortunate enough to purchase this skilled girl and include her in my organization prior to the rest of you even understood she was readily available. I encourage each of you to fulfill her personally this night as she will frequently be my individual representative. She will be authorized to go over and carry out all organisation on my behalf." My intro drew a consumption of breath throughout the room. I was unknowned for giving up control of any element of my organisation and that I had just transferred trust onto Callie's lovely shoulders was uncommon certainly. A stuttering of peaceful remarks progressed across the room and quickly there was a basic applause for her introduction. Callie beamed, smiling graciously and tilting her visit individuals around the room. She leaned towards me and whispered in my ear. "I'm so anxious,"she stated, her voice higher pitched than typical in her stress and anxiety."
Honey, they're more afraid of you than you are of them, I guarantee you. Everybody in this space owes me in one way or another. Think of yourself as a queen who can order heads chopped off."She took a look at me, her eyes large, her mouth forming an O-shape prior to dissolving into a smile as she winked.Author Bio: Marcella Swann has been putting words on paper for as long as she can remember. Brands claim that salvation from the consumer frenzy looks like the perfect tee, and they’re all trying to sell us one. Their sales pitches rest on the idea that they’ve optimized shopping for our weary, information-flooded minds, which is an effective if clinical approach to style. But while a subdued silk work blouse might appeal to our overloaded senses, what makes people lose their minds in near-religious ecstasy is an unapologetically over-the-top outfit worn by Beyoncé. Drama and individuality still wins.
Entireworld does sell great T-shirts in some fun colors, which I’m probably going to go buy after I finish this post. Its sweaters look nice in a classic way. The socks could do without the big logo running down the foot, but it’ll be covered up by your shoes anyway. It’s entirely possible for a basics brand to build an ardent fan base (perhaps you have a Uniqlo sweater evangelist in your life). It’s just becoming increasingly hard to cut through the deafening simplicity.

Succop Nature Park: Natural, Elegant and Stylish

Another of Our Favorite Pittsburgh Wedding Venues
Succop Nature Park is one of our favorite venues for weddings in Pittsburgh (well, technically it’s north, just off of PA-8 N at 185 E Airport Rd, Butler, PA 16002). Our DJs love this spot, and the location is perfect for special couples that want to embrace the outdoors and nature when they say, “I do.”
The venue is open to the public from dawn to dusk, with impeccable outdoor spaces, ponds and walking trails for couples to explore.
Beautiful, accessible and open all year long, we’ve had the pleasure of having our Pittsburgh wedding DJs host a special event for a lovely couple. This couple loves being surrounded by nature and chose Succop for its pristine beauty and open spaces.
Open Spaces & Beautiful Places
A Backdrop for the Marcraig House

The park offers 50 acres of picturesque scenery, making it a phenomenal choice for wedding photography, dancing under the stars, and romance. Guest lists can include up to 300 people, but the couple of the night had a more intimate guest list.
Open spaces outdoors and the two ponds, along with older, mature trees, are a great opportunity to take pictures and are a videographer’s dream outdoor location.
Birds even fly over guests and fill the air with song. That’s something you can’t get with just any wedding venue.
Couples can use the outdoor spaces to host their reception along with string lighting, pitched wooden roofs and lush greenery surrounding the area. For our DJs that are used to hosting weddings in Pittsburgh, the Nature Park is a nice change of pace, with acoustics easily heard on the dance floor or for anyone walking on the fields.
1830s Mansion: Marcraig House

The impeccable Marcraig House (it’s really an old 1830s mansion) is the perfect place for guests to grab a cocktail, laugh and tell jokes. Marcraig House is one of the focal points of every outdoor picture taken along with the old willow trees that line the grounds.
Our couple of the night took exquisite photos going in and out of the mansion’s front door, with its intricate covering and paved walkways.
Wedding party members also took a long-range picture in front of the house, as couples often scurry away to the ponds that are perfect for golden hour photos and have surrounding willow trees that make for the picture-perfect wedding photo every couple envisions for their big day.
If you love the outdoors and the weather permits, Succop Nature Park is the perfect place to dance the night away. Filled with beauty and nature at every turn, the venue is best described as “unique” and expansive.
Outdoor pavilions are the perfect space for a fairytale wedding, and the staff seems to be especially attentive to the needs of couples.
When we’re called out to host a wedding at Succop Nature Park, our entire team gets excited. The outdoor vibe, beautiful cool nights and scenery make the venue one of the special places that all of our team members want to visit.
It's a mix of beauty and charm that is set on a picturesque estate that very few venues in the Pittsburgh area can compete with.
