The body from which you are invited to escape is your present conception of yourself with all of its limitations, while the Lord with whom you are to be present is your awareness of being.

To accomplish this seemingly impossible feat you take your attention away from your problem and place it upon just being. You say silently but feelingly, "I AM." Do not condition this awareness but continue declaring quietly, "I AM — I AM." Simply feel that you are faceless and formless and continue doing so until you feel yourself floating.

"Floating" is a psychological state which completely denies the physical. Through practice in relaxation and wilfully refusing to react to sensory impressions, it is possible to develop a state of consciousness of pure receptivity. It is a surprisingly easy accomplishment. In this state of complete detachment, a definite singleness of purposeful thought can be indelibly engraved upon your unmodified consciousness. This state of consciousness is necessary for true meditation.

This wonderful experience of rising and floating is the signal that you are absent from the body or problem and are now present with the Lord; in this expanded state you are not conscious of being anything but I AM — I AM; you are only conscious of being. When this expansion of consciousness is attained, within this formless deep of yourself, give form to the new conception by claiming and feeling yourself to be that which you, before you entered into this state, desired to be. You will find that within this formless deep of yourself all things appear to be divinely possible. Anything that you sincerely feel yourself to be while in this expanded state becomes, in time, your natural expression.

And God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters." Yes, let there be a firmness or conviction in the midst of this expanded consciousness by knowing and feeling I AM that, the thing desired. As you claim and feel yourself to be the thing desired you are crystallizing this formless liquid light that you are into the image and likeness of that which you are conscious of being. Now that the law of your being has been revealed to you, begin this day to change your world by revaluing yourself.

Hypnosis to enter the void

This method has been found that you may have read before, but I would like to share it with you. Who knows, maybe it will work for one of us.

So, as usual in any method, the first step is to relax. It is good for the lighting to be dim or not present, at your convenience.

The second step is to choose what you want in order to reach the alpha state and tire the subconscious mind

1 Imagine a place in your memories and feel everything. For example, if you went to the beach before, what did you hear, what did you eat there, what was the texture of the sand, and how did you feel?

2 Counting from 100 to zero in a descending manner, every two or three digits, for example 90 , 93 , 96 , 99 , 100

3 Focus on a point, I mean somewhere in your room or anything that you keep your gaze focused on, and it is better if it is illuminated, such as your air conditioner. If it is on, focus on the illuminated number on it.

And after you reach the alpha state, say, “I am in the void.” Do not say, “I will enter the void.” No, say the sentence as if you were in the present, and repeat it without giving up, and boom, you are in the void.

And no, it’s not the one you’re thinking about!

So by 488, the Persian Empire wasn't doing so great. The Sassanian King of Kings was constantly challenged by the Great Houses and the Zoroastrian religious authorities, rebellions were spreading in what is now Georgia and Armenia and the peasant class was growing more uneasy and alienated from the elite.

Shah Kavad I had an idea how to solve this problem: Communism!

However, he did back Mazdak, a religious reformer who called for sharing wealth and property and supported free love. This movement weakened the power of the aristocrats but also got the Great King deposed and exiled to the Castle of Oblivion (I swear, that's a real place!)

Now, at the time the Jews of Babylonia were ruled by an Exilarch (what an awesome word!) called Mar-Zutra II. Like all the subjects of the Shah, they also suffered from the increasing instability and religious and ideological zeal overtaking the country.

Their solution: indepdence.

Mar-Zutra II led a rebellion in 513 (or 495, it’s a bit murky), easily defeated the disorganized Persian forces and declared a Jewish state in Mahoza, modern day Al-Mada'in in central Iraq.

The state was a theocracy and survived for seven years, until Kavad fled from prison with the aid of his sister and an extra-large carpet to what is now called Afghanistan, returning with an army, crushing his enemies and restoring order to the empire (which unfortunately cost both Mar-Zutra II and the reformer Mazdak his life).

Mar-Zutra’s son returned to the Land of Israel, where he became head of the Academy of Tiberias. The ancient position of the Exilarch was abolished and wasn’t renewed until 651, after the Muslim conquest of the Sassanian Empire.

So yes, for seven years, a Jewish state (or rather a statelet) existed in the heart of what is now called Iraq.

discipline is easy once you know what you want

im going to be so honest with all of you right now: discipline is easy when you're being disciplined to get something you want.

i always thought i was lazy and undisciplined, but i simply didn't know what i wanted thus i had no want/desire to get anywhere.

defining what i want to be like, who i want to be, how i want my life to feel is what gifted me discipline.

Sleep paralysis method to enter the void

Well first of all this is how I do it now so I thought I'd share it maybe it will work for someone else.

1 Sleep for three or four hours.

2 After turning off the alarm, lie down in any position you like, literally on your back, on your side, or on your stomach, it doesn't matter. Sleep paralysis will come to you even if you are sleeping upside down.

Note: I recommend that you put on headphones and listen to an alarm that goes off every ten or twenty minutes because you might fall back asleep by mistake, so the alarm will wake you up every ten minutes if you sleep. I'm listening to this one up there. ☝️It is also good to stay awake for a quarter of an hour or twenty minutes so that sleep disappears a little, such as going to the bathroom if you need it or just holding the phone and wasting time... I stayed on my phone for a little while because I did not want to get up because the weather is cold 🌚

3 After choosing the position in which you will sleep, try not to move too much. Perhaps after half an hour or twenty minutes, sleep paralysis will come to you.

4 When sleep paralysis comes on, keep saying your favorite affirmations, such as I am in the void, I am pure consciousness, and these are things. Try not to focus on your body when symptoms like floaters, tingling, and lights come on and try to focus on the blackness behind your eyes.

From my own experience, I got the first time sleep paralysis within half an hour suddenly when I was thinking about something random my body started tingling and I knew I was in sleep paralysis so I started saying I am in the void I am in the void, but my problem is that I focus on my body when I start floating and that is why I failed but I am still trying this way until now
