I beseech thee kind tumblr scroller!
This vid is in dire need of an algorithm boost due to glitches, updates, and broken mods plaguing the ability for the channel to record the game for roughly 2 weeks. The algorithm is gonna be so mad because of that. But here's what's on offer:
Two people each with a modded in race, one race made of fire and the other The Flood from Halo, working together to conquer the galaxy.
Plus! if you comment on the video your name is added to a list for what they rename the solar systems and planets to

Do you play any games made by Paradox Interactive, and would you want to play any multiplayer?
I used to play Stellaris, but I haven't played in years. I just don't have the time like I used to to play such a long lasting game

where people playing multiplayer Stellaris go wrong is in treating it like an absurd minmaxxer arms race simulator instead of a goofy scifi model UN

What are Team Prime鈥檚 favorite video games to play?
Good question!
Bee is the well-known gamer of the bunch- he has hundreds of games on his Steam account. From all those his favorite is Super Mario, no matter which game. He likes Legend of Zelda too. Surely he plays FNaF and in very into the lore. Secretly he loves singing games, but he can never play them cuz he's too deep in stage fright to do so.
Sari likes Overcooked and Minecraft, those are the games she's quite good at. And it's fun to play with friends.
Bulkhead is similar, he likes multiplayer games but with lore rather than for fun. It Takes Two is one of his favorites, followed by Splatoon games because painting. He also likes Scrap Mechanic, he likes to build stuff from scratch and watch it successfully go on and wreck some unstable build he made for this very reason.
Prowl is the occasional 4th member of the gamer trio, he enjoys peaceful and puzzle games. He loves Subnautica games,Sari got him an enlarged Switch with Animal Crossing games to play. He also plays ARK: Survival Evolved with the group, whenever he goes somewhere he'll always come back with a bunch of tamed dodos.
Optimus doesn't really play games but if he does, he will slay at strategic games. Sometimes he'll hop onto Stellaris and straight up murders entire colonies that are too close to his and enslave species on various planets. It's a little dakr indulgance of his, Bee does violence all the time in other games so why not?
Ratchet is even less of a gamer that Optimus. He tends to focus on actual important things that to indulge in something as time-wasting as games. However, on occasions he will be persuaded to play a group game with the rest and lemme tell ya, NOBODY can beat him at Wii/Mii Sports. Golf especially. He gets perfect scores everytime. "And that's what you call 'surgeon precision'." is a line he will say whenever he wins. Bee has made Docbot his arch-nemesis in tennis, their matches are relentles.
That's all i got, i have not played most of these games so excuse me if i got someting wrong.

What games do you play mommy? If I wanted to play with you I mean
Uhm...trying to think of multiplayer games I play. I got back into World of Warcraft with the new expansion and was rocking a disc/shadow priest for a bit but I've fallen out of love with that and instead I'm liking my Ret Paladin for smacking shit and my Mist Monk for healing people. Especially in PvP. Darktide is fun with people, especially when I get to play my psyker or veteran. Love throwing bees at people or just mowing down the zombies with the lasguns. I wanna try Lockdown Protocol but I haven't picked it up yet. It seems fun af. Phasmo can also be great with people. Honestly a lot of the games I like to play with people are less video gamey and more like sit around and shoot the shit type things. I genuinely love playing Commander with people for MTG, or goofing off and playing spades or mancala and I'm trying to learn Go to play with a friend whos into it. Usually with video games I'm playing like Stellaris or Age of Mythology/Age of Empires or whatever RPG has my interest atm. Though I suppose you could play those first three with others? I just really haven't

if you were to play games with fren... what would games be? :3
uuuhhmm
idk really...
depends on the person i would be playing with
but like i guess i'll just list like all the games i'd play?
minecraft, terraria, stellaris, civ games (probably 5 or 6, but open to like 3; don't own 4), deep rock galactic, bloons tower defense 5 or 6, uhh
gunfire reborn, be down to play TF2 now that bots are like gone from casual
for the king, me & my parter have been wanting to play that for a while but we lack a third person....
100% orange juice is fun, wpuldnt mind playing that with people,
the behemoth games would be nice, veen a while since i played them, been meaning to play valheim recently but idk if want to do multiplayer stuff in that (at least i dont think id want to play with someone who has experienced like everything, ive only gotten to like the first boss), wouldnt mind playing the pvz shooters, uhhhhhhh
im open to like fucking about in pokemon i guess?, not a high interest there, getting more bb academy points would be nice i guess
i'd be down to play like the borderlands games (aside from 3), preferably with someone who hasnt really finished them though, or at least uh hasnt played a lot or played super recently
i would only be open to playing fighting games if the person has a similar skill level to mine (that being like terrible and not knowing how to play at all really)
uuh theres like probably other things?
cant think of them though...

CONTROL THE SAME CIV AS YOUR FRIEND! The new co-op update for stellaris is awesome. It's called Co-op Mode and this is a bit of a look at what it's like having someone helping you manage your civilization.
Two people, one nation, and a goal of universal conquest. Give it a look aight? It's so, so good. Literally dreamt of this game mode before
OH! Also if you comment on the video your name is added to a list for what they rename the solar systems and planets to

Morgan and Oberon are DEFINITELY not allowed to play Stellaris in the same multiplayer game. Oberon would figure out how to do The End of the Cycle in a multiplayer game just to be That Guy at her, assuming he instead doesn鈥檛 do the Nemesis thing.

Stellaris really just did not need to add cloaking. Like why. Maybe it's useful in multiplayer games but in single player the AI doesn't make defensive points that can actually stop you so what are you even gonna sneak past?? I mean I guess the AI can sneak past your defensive points but you can just keep a strong fleet on the homefront, becomes even better if you have relays so you can immediately reach wherever the enemy fleet uncloaks.
what is your most controversial video game hot take? 馃幃馃幃馃幃

Stellaris and Control
Gonna put this out there tagless, because at this point Tumblr is just a place I go to reblog things that tickle my fancy and once in a while throw random thoughts out into the ether. Plus I don't want to bother anybody. I was thinking about my history playing Stellaris. How when I first started playing, and especially considering my egalitarian and pacifist bent when playing 4X games, I gladly welcomed any and all races into my empires. From a game perspective, huge growth boost, yay! All seemed well. Except...as I played these sorts of empires, I realized how...unwieldy they were. I could have a dozen different species in my empire spread out across as many planets. They all had different traits and needs, so my efficiencies were all over the place. And if I went for genetic ascendancy path to really gene tailor my little alien buddies, forget it. Gene editing every race and running the project for all of them was a chore, and flatly wouldn't fly in a multiplayer game where everybody's waiting for you to hurry up and unpause.
So, as I continued to play, my empires started drifting a little bit more toward the...authoritarian. I started shutting down my borders. Migration treaties and even fleeing refugees were refused out of hand. And oh man, it worked like a charm. A single race in my empire made everything easier. I knew the optimal setup for every planet, and it was the same every time. I knew my strengths and weaknesses, and they largely wouldn't change over time. And genetics was suddenly viable, having to only edit a single genome and propagate it across my empires.
They weren't stronger than my early egalitarian empires. Nearly all of them, authoritarian or egalitarian, succeeded in one way or another. It doesn't feel like I have a serious advantage by playing the game in that way, but it is a whole lot easier. And the reason it's easier is because when everything is locked down like that it's way easier to control. This was written on May 11, 2025.
