hello my loves! I’m peaches (the p stands for “pain in the ass”), but you can call be peach too! as stated a few times before, I’m 17 and am in the mst timezone. I’m super duper excited to tell ya’ll a bit about my poor frog son, felix. yeah, you may know the tom holland frog meme and it wasn’t entirely intentional.

anywho, here’s a big about my salamander boi:

as a kid at the camp, felix was the science and nature nerd. he was always the kiddo squatting in the bushes to try to find frogs, salamanders, beetles, and the like. he probably even had a jar of bugs under his bunk too! who knows. he was also super intelligent and was for sure the kid who would raise their hand and answer everything and bug the living shit out of his camp counselor with questions. I imagine most of the kids would have found him annoying or oddly cool. he was pretty shy back in the day, but he has confidence now! 

now felix is the hike leader and wildlife specialist at camp! he still loves to find some slimy boys in the woods and teach kids to love such slimy boys! here’s footage of one of his hikes! 

but, here’s the tea. his parents didn’t want him to grow up to go into a field with wildlife and nature preservation. instead, they wanted their poor son to be a lawyer. felix got halfway through his junior year of law school before dropping out. he didn’t even tell his parents! nobody knows tbh.

while he had that half year free, felix had a #zoinks moment and came to realize his gender and more about himself! wicked. he identifies as agender but hasn’t told most people. he uses he/him & they/them pronouns.

felix is still super smart, funny, friendly, and kind. he’s probably too good and innocent for the world, but it’s alright. around people he doesn’t know that well, he can often come off as awkward or incredibly dumb, but that’s alright too! once you get to know him, he’s an absolute gem and will probably be one of the funniest and weirdest people you’ll know.

BUT... felix also he can become quite stressed and snippy because of the whole college situation. while he obviously knows where his stress come from, he can’t help it sometimes and can be quite angry around people. it’s all good though! he’ll bring them a frog to apologize.

ABUSE TW

Philip was born in Newport, Vermont, to Richard and Eleanor. When he was very young, everything seemed very nice and perfect and he loved his parents a lot.

But when he got a little older, at around 6 years old, he started noticing his mother showing up with bruises and marks, and she’d always invent some crazy story about how she got those.

OBVIOUSLY, one night he was supposed to be asleep, he snuck out when he heard his parents fight. And that’s when he noticed his dad beating his mom. That shocked him, ngl, but it was an occurrence he started noticing happened more and more.

He still tried to act like a normal kid and has always been very damn nice and open and friendly. But seeing his father become abusive rubbed on him a little, and he started experiencing some anger issues.

Not that it mattered much to his mother. Unable to take it, she finally signed for divorce and left when Philip was 11. And he’s never heard of her since.

That put a dent in his relationship with his father, since he was now the victim. Although the abuse remained verbal at first, the nearer he grew to being 18 and leaving for college, the more physical it would get. And since he had no place to go, or didn’t even know what to do, he stayed silent about all of it.

Senior year of high school came, he was enrolled for college, going for criminology because with all the abuse he’s seen in his life, he wants to do something about it, try and prevent it or something like that. Though honestly he has no clues what he wants to do with his life, it just sounded like the right thing to do.

But he never made it to college that year. His father forced him to stay home and threatened him with anything he could. So he spent one more year in Newport, working a shitty job.

That was until one of his coworkers noticed a bruise and proposed to help him. So they went to the police, and his father was arrested. 

That meant, he was finally taken away from his dad and could go to college.

He was a smart kid, thank god, and always had a keen interest in basketball(he played all through high school) which is how he managed to get to college with a scholarship

Stillwater is a place his parents would send him to over the Summer when he was a kid. After learning about the abuse, Philip was always looking forward to spend a few months away from home. So when he was proposed to come back as a counselor, he obviously accepted it.

Random facts:

Due to seeing his father being abuse, it led him to develop some kind of anger issues, but he does work on it and has never hurt anyone.

- in the winter months, u can catch her attending columbia university as a dance major, focused in ballet. she’s a starched black lace, pale pink ribbons, venti-sized black coffee & misused adderall typa personality when she’s in the city.

- however, at stillwater, she descends into No Rules Madness and is That Girl in short-shorts, pink-tinted sunglasses, and a early-2000′s teen movie bitch vibe. catch her sneaking grey goose vodka into camp in her brand-name luggage, u feel me ?? 

- should’ve been kicked out of camp like a decade ago, but her parents fund half of the camp’s higher-priced activities like horseback riding, etc. she doesn’t mention either of those things to anyone, because she considers it embarrassing.

- one time got poison ivy bc of a midnight forest hookup gone wrong and spent two weeks covered in calamine lotion & the pride of a sexual conquest hard-earned. 

- she’s ridiculously good with kids because she basically is one when it comes down to her sense of humor and how un-seriously she takes the world. 

- can often be caught sunbathing when her camp group is supposed to be doing something completely different -- doesn’t care.

- penny’s not so much rude as she is someone that thinks social intricacies are a fun game to play. she loves sidling down next to whoever looks the most interesting and asking what the latest gossip is. whatever you tell her will be around camp within the next twenty minutes.

- blissfully unaware of most problems that concern others’ feelings, penny probably slept with your crush that one summer and ruined the talent show for you by performing your friend group’s dance routine as a solo and doing it better. 

- she really doesn’t mean to be careless or an idiot. all her social graces were learned for situations that are completely useless in the ~ real world ~ aka midwestern summer camp with a bunch of kids that couldn’t care less about your family’s social standing. 

- i’d imagine she has a handful of close friends that she’s loyal to ( cue reference to the nonjudging breakfast club from gossip girl )  and everyone else is just someone she’s flirted with, partied with, or argued with.

- she’s bisexual but homoromantic. loves the D but is desperately trying to come to terms with the fact that she definitely wants to marry a girl someday. that freaks her out. hooking up with girls with alcohol as an excuse is one thing, but falling in love with one is sort of a no-go for her. so that’s another possible connection.

HISTORY (death tw)

On February 11, 1998, Reyna Eleanora Mercedes was born to Celeste and Samuel Mercedes in West Miami, Florida. Her parents were a happy, newlywed couple that made just enough money to get by and pay for their small apartment.

They were a tight-knit family. Reyna was their only daughter and she was close to both of her parents. Although money was tight, her parents made the most out of it. Many nights were spent singing and dancing. Her father made going to the grocery store an exciting family trip for young Reyna.

All was well until her father fell ill and passed away two months after her ninth birthday. Her mother could no longer handle the bills on her own, so they moved to Winona, Minnesota to stay with her mom’s brother and his family.

Reyna, still struggling with the death of her father, didn’t adjust to everything well. She was the new kid in the last two months of school. Everyone had already made friends and formed their own cliques. There weren’t as many Latinx people in Minnesota as there were in Florida, so she felt different from all of the other kids because of that as well. She became painfully shy and withdrawn, and spent those two months of school with no one at school to call a friend.

Her Aunt Diane saw a flyer for Camp Stillwater and suggested she go there to get her mind off of things. Reyna agreed to make her mom happy.

Her first week of camp was not good. She had cried every day that week and hadn’t participated in any activities. The next two weeks, she had stopped crying as much, but she was still extremely shy.

But it was at Camp Stillwater that she realized her passion for dance and all things music. Some of her fondest memories with her father had included music in some way, but she hadn’t realized until then just how much she loved it. Dance had been the first physical activity that she had actually participated in.

As the summer progressed, the counselors noted that Reyna had steadily become more outgoing and willing to try new activities. Her silly persona started to shine through, and she gained a lot of new friends. She returned home a new girl and went to camp each year after that.

she LOVES dance and music and is v passionate about them. v talented and she loves to show it off

she thanks stillwater and the people she had met that first summer from changing her from the shy young girl to the confident woman she is today, although that quiet nature of hers sometimes seeps through.

she’s very laidback and fun-oriented. summer camp is supposed to be all about having a blast so she’s definitely one of the less strict counselors that the kids go to when another counselor says no

she's usually quick to notice if someone is feeling down or acting sketchy, even if she doesn’t always comment on it

super goofy! she’s a child at heart. she’s the kind of girl to start a random water balloon fight, pull stupid pranks, and challenge other counselors at random games.

she has a total soft spot for shy campers. since she had started off as one herself, it is her personal mission to make every shy kid have a good summer. 

she studies at the mason gross school of the arts but clears her summer every year to go to stillwater.

she can sing, dance, and play the guitar and piano

Hello hello! I’m so excited to be here! Currently I’m on summer break so I figured now would be a good time to get back into rping after taking a break for about a year…so I’m a little nervous but still excited to be here with all of you!  I don’t have much figured out about Danielle yet, but I have put some random info in here for you.  I am open to any plot/connection ideas that you may have so please feel free to hit me up or like this and I’ll reach out to you!!

Okay so Danielle was born and raised in Star Prairie, Minnesota

She is very family oriented. Being the oldest sibling she tries her best to be a good role model for her siblings and really, everyone around her

Currently she is going to NYU to be a journalist and is minoring in fine arts, but she comes home every chance she gets

She is overall just a really kind girl. She is the type of friend that as soon as she meets someone new she feels the need to look out for them. Danielle also is the friend that you call at 3AM bc you want to go on a road trip, or you need to talk, or you just need someone to sit with you and cry...she is basically ride or die for most of her friends

Always up for adventure, even when it ends up with her getting into trouble

Her family just found out about 4 months ago that her dad (and best friend in the world) was diagnosed with ALS which has completely torn Danielle apart

He is unable to walk on his own at this point and so she had a hard time finding it within herself to come back to Stillwater this summer instead of spending time with him...but she does sneak off and see him as often as she can

She isn’t coping well with the news because she knows there is no cure and her father is going to pass within the next year+, so she has started partying more often and doing much more reckless things that she never would have done in the past

Danielle always smoked weed but she never thought of doing anything more until she was at a party and decided LSD would be a good time..and now she is fairly open to trying new things as long as it takes her mind off of what’s going on back home

hello, sweetpeas ! the name’s GUPPY and the game’s eating twelve otter pops in a day. i’ll be playing TABITHA HOLMS, who literally is such a little know-it-all, always has energy because caffeine jitters, and her favorite activity is color coding her office supplies. please put a ❤ on this post if you’d like me to message you for some plotting ! alright, let’s get into the quick bullets of tabitha’s life.

is that - ̗̀(ALISHA BOE) ̖́- ? no, it’s just - ̗̀(TABITHA HOLMS) ̖́ - – TABBY is best described as [SYSTEMATIZED] i’ve heard (SHE) is a TWENTY-TWO year old - ̗̀(CAMP COUNSELOR) ̖́- which explains why (SHE’s) so [METHODICAL AND ASSIDUOUS], but i also heard [SHE'S COME BACK TO THE CAMP, INSTEAD OF TAKING AN INTERNSHIP, TO FIND THE TRUE PATH SHE WANTS TO GO DOWN AFTER LOSING SIGHT OF HER AMBITIONS] (guppy, 16, mst, she/her)

okay so let’s start with her youth, the wonder years, baby tabby:

her parents are both in the united states army medical corps (basically army physicians), and they met while in active duty.

her parents were older than most when they had tabby, and only two years later her mom and dad had her younger brother august. all of their lives their parents stayed with their jobs, even after having two toddlers running all over the place. (her mom and dad call her tabby cat, or cat, or kitten, and that’s cute)

like several other “army brats” tabby never remained in one place for long since her parents were constantly being moved for their work all the time. they were also really spontaneous and loved seeing new locations and meeting new people.

tabby on the other hand hated it with a passion, she is very organized and needs everything to be scheduled like a year in advance, but here she was being towed in the back of her parents car never having a say in their moves.

she was a bright kid, got good grades, had a hard time making and keeping friends though because she knew they would stay in touch once they moved away.

finally when she was like twelve/thirteen, her parents moved the family to minnesota where they final were settled in for a whole year.

they were so settled in that her and her brother went to camp stillwater. tabby didn’t connect to it like other kids, and even did make a lot of friends. on the other hand, her brother was all over it and thought it was the best summer ever.

she was at the max age the first year she went, but her brother kept on going back until he maxed out of the age group.

she was an academic superstar, literally got “most likely to take over the world” for every year she was in high school.

finally stayed in minnesota because her parents were finally tired of moving every few months, but they still took vacations every year during the summer while her brother was in camp.

NO TIME FOR ROMANCE OR FRIENDS ONLY SCHOOL. literally, if anyone tried to get close to her she’d hiss like the cat she is.

in senior year was like “OH SHIT WHAT DO I WANT TO DO WITH MY LIFE?” she got into all of her dream colleges, and chose to go to barnard after taking a gap year in france (we love a queen who speaks french). but, like, she wasted her scholarships and such on a... communications degree???

literally has no clue who she is and is going through a quarter life crisis hardcore. doesn’t even know if her name is tabby.

adult (not really) tabby...

her parents think she took the internship she usually does over summer, but she went back to the camp instead.

hella glowed up, finally took some fashion tips from vogue.

kinda really wants to drop out of college, but can’t tell her parents that or anything because they think she’s some kind of academically driven goddess.

finally taking a queue from her parents and becoming spontaneous just so that she can find her path again?????

connection ideas, for friends and such:

someone tabby dissed at camp the year she came, unintentionally though because tabby just wasn’t here for relationships. now they kind of have a rivalry but tabby doesn’t even know what they’re mad at her for.

someone who was friends with tabby’s brother, and therefore by extension knows tabby. maybe friends, maybe they don’t like her, maybe they think she’s the coolest older sister out there... who knows?

someone tabby is jealous over because they have their life together and she doesn’t, she wants to be like them, but pretends to hate them which is just her externalizing her own internal feelings.

someone to acknowledge her glow up, she’s really proud of it OKAY???
