I have the forcefem meme blog blocked but someone I follow put a post of her's on my dash and she's just straight up saying "this isn't a kink blog, the way I do forcefem isn't kinky" and I swear my brain stopped working entirely for a second. I don't think there's anything wrong with kinks changing with a subculture or community or becoming memes but like. Come on. Forcefem is a kink, that's what it is. I try not to get too worked up about this blog because it's not good for me and my judgement does get clouded by the dysphoria it triggers but like, it really does genuinely worry me the way the meme-ification of forcefem has completely divorced the kink element from what is still very fucking clearly a kink. This whole "I'm not doing it in a kink way" is not a get out of kink free card, and it's a piss poor excuse for going around and flooding this website with kink stuff that now essentially cannot be avoided in trans spaces. No other kink that has like, a potentially sfw angle has a community that acts like this about it, people who do like bootblacking performances where no explicitly sexual acts take place still make it clear this is a kink thing so people can avoid it if they want, and there are huge arguments in furry communities over if you can even do "sfw" vore because vore is a kink even when no traditional sex acts are being depicted. Every other kink community gets that even when no one is fucking, a kink is still a kink and should be treated as such for the safety of everyone, why should THIS be the exception??
Ugh anyway sorry didn't want this to turn into a rant, I really don't think there's anything wrong with doing a fun sfw kind of forcefem with people who consent but like, as a kinky person who cares a lot about kink and BDSM history and communities the blatant refusal to consider forcefem a kink AT ALL is concerning. You cannot un-kink-ify it, this is a kink goddamn it and when you stop treating it as such you open up a LOT of unsafe grey areas on top of making it borderline impossible for people who are squicked out by it to avoid it because no one is going to tag for something they think is a harmless, gender-affirming, tgirl approved meme.
Idk tho maybe I'm letting my own dysphoria get in the way, feel free to check me if that's the case I will take the L with grace, but I just feel like this "It's not a kink when I do it" thing is...in poor taste, at the very least. I don't think it's intentionally malicious either I just don't like it when we stop recognizing that a kink is a kink.
I advocate tirelessly for being able to live BDSM relationships in public to the extent that "normal" relationships are allowed, but what I do not do is say I should get to snap a collar around a random girl's neck and drag her off because it's just a lifestyle. Like fuck off with "it's not a kink," IT IS, and it is NON-CON.
My biggest fan can't shut up about me supposedly calling trans women groomers because I think it's bad for trans men to say they want to cure trans women's "comphet," but you know what's also sexually coercive? Shoving your non-con fetish at people, many of whom are going to have reasons to be outright triggered by it, and then call it fine because it's so totally non-sexual.
SATIRE BEGIN
Well, okay, fine, start making indiscriminate forcemasc jokes at women. It's not a kink! There's nothing wrong with being a trans man! How could they possibly complain?
SATIRE END
That's a rhetorical question too, the answer is that they'd be massive hypocrites about it and say some dumbass shit like "transmascs just invented forcemasc to gentrify our fet I MEAN NOT A FETISH" or "trans men shouldn't care about being forcefemmed because there's nothing wrong with it but being a man is Bad."

R!Wiress Headcanons!
Tumblr media
-Wiress doesn't have a set age range, she just feels younger. She can never pinpoint her age but she doesn't really mind. She's pretty independent and is a very "go! go! go!" kinda kiddo. she always has to be doing something or stimming, as it helps keeps her calm.
-She loves creating things while small, she likes to be by herself with her tools. She has a select few people who she actively seeks out when little if she needs anything, namely Beetee and Katniss, but normally keeps to herself. She has room in the Victor's Village with most of the room dedicated to being a normal workship, and one corner for her "little workshop". Her normal workshop has standard tools and is usually dirty with blueprints, tools, and broken pencils strewn around the desk. Meanwhile her little workshop is neatly arranged, has bright colors painted around her desk, brightly hand painted and color coordinated tools in her tool box, and a few drawing of her and her friends.
-She loves chewing on things. Normally Beetee supplies her with plenty of chewerly, but that hasnt stopped Wiress from chewing on the handles of tools or her own sleeves and shirt collars. She also likes making simple blueprint designs for chewerly and giving them to Beetee for him to make for her and occasionally other littles.
-She's very talkative. She always humming or singing when she's by herself, usually about a song related to what she's doing. Sometimes she makes them up as she goes, or she sings children's songs from a small collection of books about kids's fairy tales, rhymes, and songs. Beetee gifted her the book for her birthday one year. When she's around one of her friends, she mumbles and babbles quietly, repeating singular words to communicate with who she's with, or just humming and pronouncing letter sounds just to make noise.

Hiyee, Chain! So just to give a little but of a pretext, I'm normally a little bit of a silent follower, and I prefer to... ( I admit it okayy ) creep on your Shinso and Aizawa love, the WindBreaker tidbits and any mentions of your so lovely pets! <(_ _)\
But in honour of your birthday I really wanted to pop in and wish you a warm, beautiful week and tell you how much I've grown to love seeing you on my dash and reading almost anything at all that you put out into this blog... You're so very talented in numerous ways and I kick my feet thinking about how sweet you can be to moots and people who send in commission things! ( ^ ^)r゛゛
You're always so humble and stoic genius vibes when I see you mentioned in the community and it makes me smile to think you're growing and doing well, I truly wish you all the best in everything that you pursue and I'm giving you all the virtual hugs and kisses ( the X's and O'sies! ), cheers to all the positivity you bring those who very much love you on Tumblr ( myself included (*>∇<)ノ ) and a tilt to the good things coming to you with this new year to start fresh and build on memoriess... (´∀`*)ε` )
Love, love you, Chain! From Cece!
Hello Cece, it's so nice to meet you! As a fellow shy person, I know it's tough to say hi (or be the one to start it) so I wanna say thank you for that!
To be honest, I don't ever see myself as that great of a person, but that's a personal issue! I have a lot of stuff 'wrong' with me and I'm trying my best to get better every day--as much as I can, anyways. I'm so used to being the annoying one, the one people hate, the one people always dislike or ignore, and at some point, I got tired of it. I don't need to demand people's love and admiration, or respect, but I should work harder to be a better version of myself, too!
It got to the point where I just...sort of stopped talking? About myself, or my pets, or my art. I would post and leave. I got scared to talk to people cuz I always got caught up in drama, or friends would find better friends and stop talking to me. I took it personally when I shouldn't have. People grow up, grow apart. But I realized that I was also too much, as well. I have one friend IRL and they live super far away so I can ONLY talk to people online, and that makes me sort of...clingy? Too much? I get excited to socialize and talk people's ears off and that, in turn, makes me annoying and makes people leave. It's a hard balance.
That said, since I started using my Tumblr more, I've met such wonderful people, and seeing their joy is infectious. People share their breakfasts, favorite songs, their outfits for the day, their thoughts--and it's fun! It's nice to feel welcomed and wanted. Sure, I can't eat someone's yogurt bowl and sure I can't have some brush my hair, but it sort of feels like I can, too? Probably sounds crazy. But it's helped a lot of that loneliness and it's helped a TON with my RSD as well.
Thank you for the birthday wishes and thank you for popping out of lurking to say so! I'm happy to meet you and I hope we can both grow together and make the world a better place, even if it's just to a handful of people simping over anime boys on this website. Everyone could use some positivity these days.

I believe I've finally figured out why this website feels so exhausting to me. It's a few reasons but they all sort of funnel down into the same sort of "overall thing" which is that you're not allowed.
Allowed to what? Anything.
No no, stay with me a moment here let me explain.
See Tumblr doesn't really have an algorithm outside of the "For You" tab, everything you see is funneled into your dash through the people you follow, and by extension the people they follow, and then their dashboard is populated by the people they follow. What this means is that you don't have a lick of real privacy here.
That's true for most of the internet, however if I make my own website, host my own blog; and write my own thoughts and opinions there. It's a pretty clear concept that what I'm writing is mostly for me, secondarily for you as the reader; and ultimately not for "everyone" which is fine.
What we have on tumblr is essentially a huge open forum, where anyone can add anything; to any post. Which isn't inherently the issue, but you've got so many smaller fandoms, communities, and politically aligned groups who believe whatever the hot topic of the week is.
Which, for all the nuance people want to put forth in issues like "do you like coffee" becoming "I only like certain kinds" or "I only like certain flavors" or "I only like it cold!" Suddenly becomes a no nuance "no actually coffee is bitter." If you dare to say "well not all coffee is bitter" you're labeled with "oh look they said #Not All Coffee!" You're sent anon hate, you're ridiculed and dragged through the mud for stating something. It doesn't matter how right you might be either, if it's not popular to side with you; people won't do so.
Obviously my coffee question metaphor is a sort of blanket example that is meant to encompass a broader topic of discussion. We don't talk about the nuance of issues, everything is black and white; and furthermore people act like they want to.
But because it's an open forum for everyone, someone from an opposing side of the argument, or someone who doesn't like what you're saying or how much attention it's getting; can easily toss in their two cents.
Your only option to stop this? Disable reblogs from everyone, stop the conversation with you. Isolate yourself to the point using SOCIAL media is all but pointless. I have enjoyed using this website significantly less after having to turn off asks and submissions, but can you blame me when I was actively getting hate and annoying remarks on the daily?
Now normally I'd argue "hey if that many people don't like me maybe I'm doing or saying something wrong!" Thing is, it's not like I've not reflected on that; when I get some form of hate, I tend to do my best to ignore the actual hate and focus on what's trying to be said under the layers of "go kill yourself." Typically it's "I don't like what you're saying" or "you said too much and I didn't bother reading it all because I have TikTok brain!" However there's a handful of times when people actually do explain their side of the argument politely and I can sort of learn that this isn't the place to talk about certain things.
Like when I openly talk about how porn addiction isn't real, I get a lot of people saying they themselves are victims of it. Yea fam I thought I used to be as well, and then I educated myself about what addiction really is; and understood the nuance of the situation:
To put it plainly, addiction is when your brain chemistry is physically changed in a way where you form a genuine dependency on the substance that changed it. This change can be temporary or permanent; which means something like coffee can be actually addicting since it can even temporarily make you dependent on the caffeine to function.
However, did you know; that there's literally no way to change your brain chemistry with pornography? Yea believe it or not, that's a total myth. That being said it's not a myth that masturbation does release dopamine and generally can help people suffering from a lack of dopamine; typically this involves people who are depressed.
This is a two fold thing, since if you're not literally ace your brain likely produces hormones that tell you that you're supposed to be reproducing; which means it will more easily motivate you to masturbate than say, play a video game or listen to music.
You brain isn't just concerned with producing dopamine, it's just hardwired for survival of the species; so you can easily get yourself to jack off but god forbid you try to do something fun with your time. Depression is just sort of like that; you lack the motivation to do much of anything, so falling back on masturbation for a quick hit of dopamine is easy.
Now this causes a feedback loop where you find the easiest, and most effective method of keeping yourself happy is to watch porn and jack off. That's not a clinical addiction; that's just literally the nature of your brain at work.
Why do I say all of this? Because this is the sort of thing I can't talk about on this site; not without 50 random anon messages either agreeing with me or telling me this is a women's issue and I shouldn't talk on it "as a man." Which is fun because I thought we were all supportive of LGBT but it turns out I'm not a valid NB because I don't shave my facial hair or something.
We don't discuss the nuance, we don't actually bother to read and understand what each other have to say; we just get mad about shit constantly. How dare you have an opinion that I don't have.
We say buzz words are bad, but then we use buzz words when they benefit us.
We say generalization is bad when it applies to the LGBT, or PoC but you know; those white people and cis and christians are all the same... right?
Talking on this site is like walking through a mine field; my mutuals might politely just go about their day, or maybe even agree with me. God forbid my post "breach containment" I start getting messages from people I don't even know. People start commenting and reblogging on my posts to yell at me about shit I literally covered already.
I can literally say "I don't think this is bad, but I think it's a bit more nuanced than this and we need to look at it from this angle too" and I'll get comments saying "I can't believe you think this is bad!" To which I just kind of sit there wondering how you somehow couldn't be fucked to actually read what I said and understand it.
I know we joke about the reading comprehension on this site, but I am serious when I say people will READ what I say; but not COMPREHEND what I say. I didn't understand how or why that was happening for a long time and now I think I finally get it.
It's because this site is all about knee-jerk emotional reaction response.
Don't tell me it's not, think about it; every time someone on this site needs help or financial aid what are the first words you see?
Typically it's some form of their entire label chain "help a lesbian, genderfluid, PoC, with [Disabilities] pay rent!" Not just "Hey I lost my job and need help paying my bills" Like dude I'd help if I could in either scenario but when you lead in with literally like 10 random labels I have to wonder if maybe you're trying to say "we're the same you and I, we come from the same community" or if you're trying to say "you get woke points for helping ME because I'm not just some cis white straight guy!" It feels like borderline guilt tripping.
When we see posts about how "love language" is fake, I'm literally told "it was invented by some CHRISTIAN MAN so he could PRESSURE his POOR WIFE into SEX!" Like whoa boy that's one hell of a claim; even if it's true that's still a bit of an emotionally charged statement you know?
It's like, well sure; I'd love to talk about how the concept of love languages isn't entirely false. To say that is to ignore that people love in different ways, and feel loved in different ways. Let's not even get me started, as someone who became hypersexual thanks to being sexually abused (and yes I am in fact amab, and was in fact groomed by a cis woman when I was a minor; and she was a 26 year old in the navy. Later I was again sexually abused by a cis woman when I was a few years older.) On the topic of the whole "people pressure others into sex saying it's the only way they feel worth and love." Like alright yea let's literally not perhaps look into that trauma response and maybe try to help these people live normal lives.
It's the same way I see people talk about pornography. They go off about the porn industry being extremely horrible towards women. Which like, yea it absolutely can be; and mostly is. There's no mention of the way we view men, and how the way the media portrays men is just as harmful to young boys with self esteem issues and all that. We don't talk about how stupid the idea of dick size mattering is; no we in fact reinforce negative amab issues by saying "that's small dick energy bro" and the like. You bring that up and people will say you're ignoring women's issues; absolutely the fuck I'm not? I'm just trying to make you aware the problem is actually larger than just that. "Oh but we're just focusing on this right now" right, that's fine; but you're literally ignoring the other problems.
It's like how when people bring up how there's bans on pornography or, how people view pornography we always have to make it about how this effects the LGBT before people care. We go around saying "sex work is real work" but then we also go "these poor women on OnlyFans who are FORCED to do sex work need to be saved uwu" meanwhile I know a LOT of women who enjoy doing work on OnlyFans, and who hit me up to be their manager because I have a reputation as being a chill dude who can help them grow their numbers. I have a lot of connections in NSFW spaces and yes believe it or not sex work IS in fact real work; which is why like we should probably actually focus on the real industry problems. The women and even men being harmed by this are not typically your OnlyFans indies; but your industry people.
This is like how if I bring up the stigma on pornography I'm labeled poorly for it, I'm told I'm misogynistic which like, I don't believe I am; but believe it or not I have done a lot of self reflection on it. I even went around to a lot of women I know and sat down with them to talk about whether or not they believed I was misogynistic or if I had some form of unnoticed internalized misogyny. Do you know what those women (and yes, some were in fact; as we say here on tumblr transwomen) had to tell me? They literally told me that I need to chill the fuck out and get off tumblr because it was only contributing to my anxiety.
You're not allowed to talk about things on this site, because you're not allowed to be wrong. You're not allowed to grow and change, you're not allowed to have a flawed opinion that needs to be workshopped with some other people who could talk with you on the subject. You're not allowed to be given kindness, you're not allowed to speak up on issues that matter to you.
It's how I speak up on Native issues, even more specifically sometimes Lakota issues. Only to have other Natives and even other Lakota disagree with me; and then a bunch of their followers dogpile into my inbox to tell me how stupid and wrong and bad I am for having lived the experience of being a "breed" back during a time when racism in Native communities was much more rampant than it still is.
On this site you're told how bad and wrong and sad it is, that we as people have been reduced to being "content creators" who have to make the most palatable entertainment for the masses. Then you speak to a niche, say something about your lived experience; or simply have an opinion and whoops there it is. You're now public enemy number 1, all those posts about how it's rotten and evil and wrong to tell someone to kill themself? That doesn't matter anymore, not to the dozens of anons in your inbox who have found "slightly more creative ways" to say the same thing.
You either get to be an aesthetics blog, who never has an opinion, or a voice of their own; and you get to keep your ask box open and enjoy being toted around as a good person and shit. Or you speak your mind and immediately get labeled by someone as something.
Tumblr is no better than twitter in this regard, it's no better than reddit; it's not even any better than 4chan if I'm being honest. We just really don't want to admit that because there ARE a handful of us who are genuinely just chill people trying to enjoy blogging and staying in our lane. The problem comes when other people decide they're going to merge into oncoming traffic without so much as a turn signal because they revel in the discourse.
It sucks because I cannot tell you how valuable discussion and such is to me. I cannot tell you how many times I've come out here and said my piece, spoke my mind; and someone has politely come out to the post to mention things from their own angle. We have a back and forth, maybe we both learn something. I walk away with information I didn't have before, and they do as well. It's a way for us to see things from someone else's perspective. We're all unique individuals, we all have different lived experiences; we all know stuff other's do not. I value that information, the interaction we're allowed to have as human beings who can communicate.
This website however does not.
It feels strongly like this website merely wants to tell me to shut up and kill myself.
But hey, don't worry I'll probably reblog a funny video of a cat; or wholesome anime picture; or a funny meme in 2 minutes and we'll all just move on with our day.

@fearbringer2 here you go! This is basically everything I think. I'm pretty sure messages have a limit so im just gonna put this here. (Nobody else needs to look at this, it's just a guide for tumblr. Kind of.) Hope this helps!!
#1: Tags!!
I joined last year when my friend did, and the first thing i did was follow every fnaf artist I saw ever, ofc.
but GREAT HEAVENS !!! If you don't want to see Springtrap x y/n, (no shame if you do btw, but I personally don't,) you go to your settings and block/censor certain tags.
This helps with not seeing things like gore, ships you don't like, Fandom that you dont want to see, or things that make you uncomfortable in general.
If you want to do this; go to setting, account, and click on filtered tags!
You also have to remember how to tag things correctly yourself.
Tagging correctly will also help some people avoid seeing things that they don't like. Even if it's something like food, or jellyfish. Sometimes people just don't want to see it, and it's important to remember these things!!
It's also very very important that you spell these things correctly. So don't say g0re or gor3 in a tag. That completely misses the point!
People who have moved from twitter or tik tok have this problem since they're used to censoring words like that, but this is a no-no!!
Your goal is to stop people from seeing it, and if its spelled incorrectly, then it'll show up on their dash.
Tagging helps people find certain things that they're into. Like if I tag 'fnaf fanart' in one of my drawings, people who have liked a lot of posts with that tag, will see my post on their dash!
You can also follow tags, so you see any post with that tag.
#2: Interacting with posts!!
Tumblr is used a bit differently than it was originally supposed to, and this is now normalized with all users.
For example; if you want to compliment somebody's art, or comment on it, people usually don't actually go to the comments.
Usually people reblog, and give compliments or comments in the tags. (Of course, using the comments is not wrong! its 100% still okay to do! Especially when you're commenting on someone's vent, and they don't want it reblogged!)
If the post was an @ or mention towards you, you can reply in general text. People also reply in text if their response is funny, or an ad-on to a serious post. (Again, it's not bad to reply this way, it's just normalized to use tags! do what you want!!)
Absolutely DO NOT reply to a post if your just going to say 'lmao' and that's it. You will be MAULED by users DON'T DO THAT.
#3: Helping certain posts get attention!!
If you find a good post that doesn't have many likes, liking it will not put it on other people's dash! Unlike YouTube and other platforms, likes do nothing!
What really helps a post get more attention is reblogging! Even without tags!!
It also makes artists really happy when you sneak a few compliments or comments in there.
#4: Your blog!!
Having a profile picture is very, very important! I know that sounds weird, but there's a huge bot problem on tumblr, and if you don't have a profile picture, people will block you because they'll think you're a bot.
Also never, never use your real name on tumblr. For obvious reasons, and because it will also make people think that you're a bot.
The bots on tumblr usually have names like Brittney-rose, or lilith-amity.
These are porn bots.
They also spam like posts.
Block them!
You can also make a pinned post to prevent certain people from interacting with you!
You can put a drawing of a sona up, with some information about you, and your dni list!
Example: *insert sona here* call me Sneeb! I draw mostly dca and sometimes wof. Mostly whatever I'm into at the moment. Dni: Terfs, homophobes, (etc.)
#5 posting your art!!
Again, tagging your posts correctly will help you find your community! There's tons of people who would love to see everything you have to offer!
Also, not a lot of people follow the tags "oc art" or "sketches," so if you want your oc art or just your doodles to be liked, too, you'll probably have to start out with some fanart.
Which, I know, sucks!! I personally love seeing others ocs, but not everyone does. But don't let this discourage you!!
#6: Queue! What is that?
If you don't want to spam the people that follow you with all of your reblogs, you can put a post you want to reblog in you Queue!
Doing this, you can set a certain time that your reblog will upload to your blog, so you aren't spamming your followers dash!
#7: Following people!!
You can follow anyone you'd like, and if they change what they post about and you're not into it, it's completely fine to unfollow them!
It's not rude to not want see a Fandom that you're not interested in when that person no longer uploads posts of things that you are interested in.
#8: Mutuals!!
When you follow someone, and they follow you back, that makes you mutuals!
If you go to the 'activity' thing, which is basically notifications, it will show you things like; people who have liked, reblogged, and commented on your posts. It also shows you who has followed you, and if you're mututals!
There isn't anywhere that you can look to see specifically who your mutuals are, unless you go to your followers and see who has the blue mutuals thing next to their username. You can also see this in activity if any of them like or interact with any of your posts.
This applies to people that you follow, too.
Interacting with mutuals can be scary at first, so here's a tip! If you'd like to know if that person is okay with you interacting with them, such as @ing them on certain posts, or sending them art you made for them, go to their profile and click the "ask anything" button. (Some people edit this to say something else, but it still works the same!)
From there, it's basically the same format as making a post.
You can ask your mutual if they're okay with more interaction there! And if you're nervous about them knowing who you are yet, you can click being anonymous in the ask box! (Although some people have this turned off.)
The ask box in general is used for; asking questions about just about anything that has to do with this person, like stuff they made, compliments, or even fanart!
You can also just send them a silly drawing or something. There's no real rules, besides of course not breaking boundaries!
#9: Posting!!
If you're going to make a very long post, press the "read more" thing (it should be a symbol next to the camera, headphones and stuff. It's the 3 lines thing.) So that people don't have to scroll through your giant wall of text if they don't feel like reading it.
Other than that, just follow tumblr guidelines!
#10: Things that are RUDE They're RUDE and DONT DO THEM.
Overusing or miss-using tags FOR SURE. DONT. DO NOT Reblog a post saying that you don't like it. If you don't like a ship someone made or something, block them!
If there is a post against the tumblr guidelines, report it!! Do not reblog saying how you don't like it in tags!! Nobody that follows you wants to see that!
Again, do NOT censor tags, saying g0re or gor3. Spell tags correctly so no one has to see things that they don't want to see.
Absolutely DO not tag things that have nothing to do with your post!
For example, if you make a post about cats, maybe some random pictures, and tag it as fnaf, that counts as spam!
And I think that's all! If you have any specific questions, I'm happy to help :] anyone else feel free to add on if I missed anything!

As someone who has returned to Tumblr RP, who has been on/off this activity since 2011 (tho done written RP in general for much longer tho), I wanna share my wisdom to folks new and old, so I can heal from past hurt and use it to help improve experiences:
1) Don’t force yourself to RP with someone just because they have a muse you like. I know on my end, I’ve had to handle SO MANY vitriolic personalities because of that. I didn’t even drop some of these people right away because I thought learning to be friends with folks with toxic personalities was a “good thing.” I’ve become a lot more confident in who I want to surround myself with over the years and that includes in online spaces.
2) I hope more people learn that behind every blog is a blogger. This is something I’ve really had to learn, that how active someone is on their blog or who they choose to respond to some days doesn’t mean that person is ignoring you or thinks you’re a bad person. Maybe they’re busy, maybe they only have the motivation for certain threads and muses. Communication is super key if one person feels insecure and the other doesn’t know what’s going on.
3) The minute someone is publicly stirs drama on the dash - don’t engage. Some people will hide their drama behind a “social justice” card - don’t fall for it. RP is for RP and the minute it stops being that, you have every right to feel uncomfortable and not give any attention to what someone is posting.
4) I once had someone comment when I left my Sonic blog in part because of drama… I feel commentary on drama (except to critique its existence) only makes RP spaces feel unwelcoming. Unless something is getting out of hand, please keep thoughts and concerns to DMs with mutuals and friends.
5) Controversial take from what I’ve been seeing: While I think soft blocking people who are actually harmful makes sense, I also think communication is key when choosing to unfollow someone who is otherwise a decent human being. That’s me being sensitive to emotions, tho.
6) Being exclusive is okay! Being a clique is not! You can have fun with your mutuals and friends without making others feel left out.
7) Honestly, I think the best RP experiences I’ve had have been with kind muns and friends. As I’ve learned: Maybe my Knuckles blog I made a few years back never got attention, but meanwhile, crossovers and OCxOC interactions (on and off tumblr) have been super fun.
8) Please, please, please don’t harass people about their takes on muses or headcanons. Even if they’re “wrong.” Gentle conversation and critique is fine, but if you’re going to get mad at someone, you’ve basically become a bully.
9) On that note: the energy you put out on your blog is going to affect someone’s day, so please be mindful or use tags when getting into negative territory.
10) This is getting better, but since no one said this when I was a minor: Tag your NSFW stuff. And don’t fetish mine. And ask before your begin RPing a sexually implied situation or doing something like r*pe. This should not be normalized with minors.
11) I saw a post that already said this: Some mutuals will become friends or acquaintances, but not all mutuals will be, and that’s okay!
12) No vagueing. Unless someone is being toxic or inappropriate, go to DMs, please.
I might add more in the future.

Note
I think there were several things to point in the recent discussion, and it isn't my right to tell who did wrong or not on this. It mostly confuses me, all kind of argues confuse me cuz I'm quite incapable to stand hate... but if I must do the effort to hate something is people arguing and creating a chaotic situation and seeing so much toxicness in my dash...
I just wanted to come here to leave you a soft and calm message, if I can. Also to share a beautiful idea I have found in my own curiosity.
I know you are having a bad time with hate comments, but this is not about pointing anyone as the bad guy. I think your hard work and passion for this fandom must be appreciated. Even if it's not completely accurate or not everyone has the same headcanons than you I think that you should keep doing what you love. This hole thing about fandom is to actually share different POVs and enjoying with people that think the same than you. If don't, I agree that it's better to walk away and keep scrolling for what you really like.
And I think that we are all humans (except for Tumblr bot accounts), and we mistake, we get hot headed, we argue and complain about what hurts or bother us, and that's pretty normal. The thing is to let the arguing get more and more louder in our heads instead of washing away the bad vibes and finally understanding the source of the problem. As humans, we must rise over our mistakes to grow up, right?
The only thing I could advise you, but it's up to you to take it or not, it's that you should make a little research if you are going to talk about a topic related with community that could be sensible to your comments, also make a trigger warning in every post and if you are going to write with poor knowledge of the topic, saying it too, so people could get warned. I'm not sure that will stop hate comments, but perhaps, and I hope so, you will find a good soul that will be happy to correct you in a constructive manner. Learning something new is never a waste of time, and it actually could help you to understand and feel more confident about what are you going to do. I do that myself actually. In this case, learning a little about what the Catholic church reads in the Bible could make in a sense a lot easier to understand what has influenced Yui during her life.
I agree that there could be certain influence by the church in the way Yui dresses. But I won't say it's because the church forbids to dress in a way or another. Because it isn't that way. I have read the Bible, and despite the fact that there are several things that couldn't fit this era, there is not forbiddance about how to dress outside the church (except for the transgenders, which is in my opinion, a trait of that era, and even if I disagree, it couldn't be helped). There are restrictions inside the church but not in your daily life.
But instead, I wanted to share something with you that I have found here, there are a curious verse that might interest you:
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. (NIV, 1 Peter 3:2-5)
And I think this idea could be something that could have influenced in Yui's way to express herself by clothing. But that doesn't need to be the only reason. There could be others, but, as all this argue was about how the 'religious dress code' influenced her, I wanted to bring to your asks something even more beautiful professed by Yui's religion that not only would influence her way to dress but in general the way she behave in the matter of beauty. Because I think that we all Yui lovers agree when I say that Yui is cute but what makes her really beautiful is her pure and merciful soul, that one that made diaboys to finally find a piece of heaven in their rotten hell.
I hope I've helped you, and that you don't receive this message in the wrong way. Happy creation time <3
Tumblr media
OMG. I really appreciate you for taking your time and writing this long message for me. Thank you so much.
I completely understand your words and as I said I never intended to hurt anyone. What I think is just my opinion and it is not necessary for everyone to agree with it. In fact, I believe that there are different opinions that make a fandom beautiful.
Even at that headcanon I never mentioned the church's compulsion for Yui's clothes. If they read my post carefully, they will realize that I said Yui is a religious girl and maybe this is one of her reasons. In the end, it doesn't matter how Yui dresses. We all love her for her heart of gold.
Honestly, I am not a Christian or even a religious person, and my belief in religion is not like the others, and maybe people had a wrong understanding of what I said, but there was no need to attack me like this. Not everyone's language is English and there may be misunderstandings. It is better to kindly ask each other instead of insulting each other.
Thank you so much for your advice 🥰💘.

one thousand goddamn words, i do not apologize. i like body horror, gimme a break
woe, neopolitan hc be upon ye
tl;dr: it takes about two weeks for the transformations to finish, including; a body that changes height day by day, as well as other characteristics hour by hour; vertical, slit-shaped pupils; sharper, pointier teeth, and more of them; nails that grow out into claws; cat-like ears on the side of their skull; and their voice, suddenly restored but with a horrible curse: a case of voice of the legion, where the curious cat's voice quietly weaves in and out of their normal, speaking voice.
make no mistake, this is not 'neopolitan gets cute cat ears and goes "nya! :3c" constantly. this is straight up body dysmorphia, a violation of their body image, and gods they fuckin hate it. every time they look in a mirror, all they can notice are the features that weren't there a few weeks ago, the things that don't belong. i think only well into the ending chapters of rwby — if not well into post-rwby content — does neo come to terms with what happened to them. by the way, if your character values living, do not call neo the 'neocat'. they will kill them. no bit, kayfabe off. this is direct mun to mun communication here, neo will actually harm and attempt to kill your character.
the consequences aren't evident immediately. i'd say that by the end of neo's second week back from the ever-after, there's no new surprises in store for them. their condition won't get any worse, nor does it get any better. attempting to fix it via surgery or semblances do nothing, because their body recognizes it as 'yeah this is normal now.'
putting this under readmore so it doesn't clog up the dash too much. this is the list of consequences/transformations neo is subjected to as a part of the curious cat's possession of them, ordered from first to appear to last to appear:
the first day back from the ever after, they discover that they're a whole inch taller. unsure of whether this is a very late growth spurt or not, they're decidedly happy about it, and maybe mention it offhandedly to like yang or scarlett or someone idk. however, the next day they discover they're two inches shorter. this means that neo's body shifts over time. height usually ranges from 4'7" to 4'11", with a median of 4'9". it also applies to other parts of their body. while their height changes day by day, eyes may be slightly larger or slightly smaller hour to hour, mouth might tilt a little, small things that are just barely noticeable if you have a keen eye.
the morning of the second day, they get up out of bed and stretch, like they usually do, however, they swear they can feel their arms lengthen, distort, distend just a tiny bit, bones creaking and groaning before slowly, lazily easing back into their normal length, as though their arms would really rather stay those few centimeters longer.
maybe a couple days after leaving the ever-after, neo notices their eyes end up resembling blake's, with vertical, slit shaped pupils. their eye color remains the same, and their semblance can still affect it like normal.
the next two happen about a week after leaving the ever-after, heir incisors and canines grow sharper, pointier, with the back teeth remaining human as an odd mix of the two. they also notice that they have more teeth, much like the neocat's. dentist appointments are off the table now. likewise, neo's nails start growing to a long, sharp point unless they take care of it via filing or clipping their nails. they stop using acrylic nails at this time, as that would require letting someone see their nails, so they stick to just painting them or w/e the phrase is.
a week and a half later, they note that their ears have grown more cat-like, almost perpendicular to their skull with pointed, rounded tips and tufts of pink and brown fur covering the base and a little bit of the ear itself. their ears twitch, move, showing their emotions and god do they do airplane ears a lot. this... they almost don't mind, but they hate it all the same.
two weeks later, a particularly tricky lock causes them to vocalize a "hmmm," and they jump in shock. as their vocal cords were completely shredded to the degree where such a noise is physically impossible, it's an understandable surprise.
their voice is restored, but with a notable undercurrent of the cat's voice that weaves in and out of their own. under stressful situations, this is intensified to the point where their own voice ends up taking a backseat. suitably, neo does not like talking. for future reference, their natural speaking voice is remarkably similar to casey lee william's, but with a cadence and tone more similar to valkyrie from thor ragnarok.
neo's semblance interacts with this in an... interesting way. see, i've hc'd that their upgraded semblance's clones and audio mimicry is based off of how they remember the people and sounds. so clone!roman is much more dramatic than he was in real life, because that's how neo remembers him, they remember the showing off and snarky comments. his voice is also wrong, because that's how they remember his voice. when neo attempts copying their voice with their semblance, the cat's voice dominates, while theirs is barely audible.
neopolitan hates all of it. the illusion once used to cover up the scar on their throat instead covers up their entire face, eyes made to look like normal, ears hidden by their short haircut, mouth covered by a hand if they even yawn or open it to eat, wearing thick, padded gloves to cover up their sharpened nails, all of it repressed and hidden away in an effort to pretend like they're still them.
but they know the truth. they know it every single time they wake up and look at themself in the mirror, every time they measure their height to see if the pattern's changed, stretching and trying in vain to ignore the sounds of their bones desperately wanting to grow, to lengthen.
but hey, at least they can captain holt ruby by walking up to her and saying "no one will ever believe you." and walking away. that's the one upside, and neo does take genuine joy in doing that and keeping the bit going for as long as physically possible

honestly if you want to just make this small corner of the internet a little more bearable to a-spec people, and to unlearn shit from the era of more brazen, socially-acceptable aphobia:
when you see a post on your dash where the main theme is "look at this ace person being cringe or overly sensitive," ask yourself what's funny about it; ask yourself if the person being ace is what's supposed to be funny or cringe; ask yourself if it seems like a sockpuppet (ie, someone with a fake/parody account pretending to be ace and/or other identities they want to make look bad)
furthermore, ask yourself what climate the person who put it on your dash is creating, and whether you find it to be in good taste. do they post things like this a lot? why?
when someone says "LGBT" with no "Q" or "plus," consider quickly checking out their blog to see if they're normal about a-spec people (or about anyone who reclaims "queer," or pan people, or trans people they don't like). the tone of their post about "LGBT" solidarity or community will take on a much different meaning than you first assumed.
be inclusive of ace people in sex positivity. one thing that asexuality and other queer identities have in common is that bigoted cishet people consider them to be inherently more sexual, inappropriate, and "not kid-friendly" than cis allo straightness — so they therefore consider it "oversharing" to talk about to adults, and downright predatory/grooming to explain to minors. we're fighting the same fight against that kind of thing, among many others.
when you (rightly) defend kink at pride, be aware that "kink and queer communities have a long history and overlap" is true, but for many people, "queerness is inherently about sex" is not (and that's not even getting into non-sexual kink!)
stop blaming ace people for sex negativity (cultural conservatism and cultural christianity are right there). the ace community is by no means immune to sex negativity, but that's not unique among queer communities — and none of them invented sex negativity either. besides, you obviously shouldn't be homophobic or transphobic if one gay or trans person has a bad take about kink at pride, for that matter. (that's another thing us aces have in common with other queer subcommunities — bad faith actors go looking for socially acceptable, "progressive" reasons to harass us!)
don't reblog posts that conflate "not wanting sex" with "policing other people's sex lives." in fact, and this one is harder for some people, don't even conflate "repulsed by sex" with "policing other people's sex lives." sex repulsion does not equal sex negativity (and sex favorability doesn't equal sex positivity, either).
relatedly, ask yourself if "prude" is being used as a synonym for people trying to police sexuality, or simply for people who don't like sex. don't reblog posts that use it for the latter.
learn the difference between ace and aro, and include aromantic people in your sex positivity too. aroallo people especially, and any other aro people who have sex (with emphasis on anyone who gets hypersexualized by racism, transphobia, etc) are among people who need sex positivity the most due to being stereotyped as predatory. but due to arophobia, they're the most likely to be excluded from it — alongside, and overlapping with, polyam people. you can't be sex positive and then say "but not if that cis man wants a friend with benefits though."
in the end, I'd rather hang out with someone who used to be ensnared in ace discourse, but dug their way out and took time to seriously unlearn things, making the effort to include a-specs in their sex positivity — than I'd like to hang out with someone who always proclaimed a-specs were queer, but regularly reblogs posts about the "cringe" ones, and talks about how sex makes you a more progressive and radical person. I just think it would be nice if this was the year that people made an effort to avoid the socially acceptable aphobia, too.
the more I get back in my habit from 2018-ish of searching "asexual" on blogs before I make a habit of interacting with them frequently, the more I realize that a lot of people started to reblog way less aphobia circa 2018, but without literally any sign of their opinions on asexual people changing, or making any effort to include them.
and that's how we get the current tumblr climate. people doing a disservice to important stuff like sex positivity or kink at pride, by just regurgitating shit like "well sex is what makes us queer, you fucking prude." instead of, you know, actually talking about why sex positivity is important for a wide range of sexualities, or why kink at pride has a long historical context. or even bringing up the fact that policing/mocking people's relationship with sex just for being different than yours is just inherently bad in and of itself. the aphobia is still ingrained in this site, just subtler now.

I need y'all to get over the fact you think blocking is a bad thing. Twitter has taught you all that blocking means that a person had to do something bad in order to be blocked.
I block people when I don't want to see their posts because my comfort over theirs comes first. My online experiences do not affect them at all. However, what they are posting is affecting me.
And if it's the other way around I highly suggest they block me so we do not cross paths.
"Oh! but what if they like what I post and I just don't like what they post :("
... unfollow them?? or just... don't follow them to begin with??
"OH! But I don't want to see their post on my dash!"
There is an option to say "This post isn't for me in particular..." and Tumblr will just stop recommending posts from that person for a long while (This only works if you are not following them and are following a tag).
"But I don't want to ruin our relationship D: I just don't want to see what they post."
So, a lot of people have been using the filter tool to just "mute" people, steps on how to do it. 1. Go to setting 2. Account -> Scroll down to "Filtered Post Content" (YOU WOULD WANT TO USE FILTER POST, NOT TAG, THOSE TWO ARE DIFFERENT) 3. put in their username and you have done it.
Fair warning though even if they, the person you mute, haven't reblogged it, it will still filter the post giving you a warning they have interacted with it (Not really saying they have interacted in it but more "This post contains filter content" as a way to indicate they have in some way interacted with the post).
"I just don't want to block people :("
... then don't block people??
"But I also want my online experience to not be so bad... like, what if I ended up wanting to see what they post every once in a while without it feeling weird..."
... it's going to feel weird whether you like it or not. Muting or blocking a person and then going to see what they have been up to is completely normal in *average doses. As long as you are not becoming a stalker and purposely going out of your way to surveillance them then you are good.
*average doses on someone going out of their way to let their curiosity get the better of them is literally once (1) a day, every 5 months or longer. If you do it more than once (1) a day, every few weeks, or every so often, sorry, I'm diagnosing you with "You are a stalker and you need to go touch some grass and read a damn book. My god, get a life."
Blocking is a tool to make your life so much easier. I don't really like muting (because of the whole Vtuber drama), however, if you prefer muting over blocking, then that is completely fine, but understand the main purpose of blocking is to make your online experience better. Not a judgment hammer where everyone is like "ALL IN AGREEMENT THIS USER SHALL BE BLOCK SAY AYE!"
Blocks are part of your privacy, but if you want to share them with others go for it. I don't like BlueSky because of this one flaw, all blocks you make are public for everyone to see. And knowing from past experience with the Vtuber community, my god, hell is about to be set on fire tenfold.
I just remembered people also use mute as another way to block as well. Mainly to combat those stalker users or just plain toxic individuals. And honestly, if it works for you, it works for you and I can't really tell you what to do 👍 (there is a difference between the point I am making versus people going out of their way to harass you. If muting works for you to combat them, go for it).

Confusing Introductions
Tumblr media
10th Doctor X Reader Summary- The Reader has a very frightening start of their day, until a dashing man and his box comes to their rescue, but due to their brain being overloaded and confused by very new concepts, they think that they HAVE to be dreaming... right?
Writers Note- I wrote this story quite a while ago and have been contemplating if I should post it or not. It's short due to it being the first story i have ever written, but i am very willing to write longer and more in-depth stories in the near future!
It was strange.
Today was meant to go like every other day. but for some reason… Everything went topsy-turvy. I woke up with a startle from my alarm, 10:30pm like usual, signaling that it was time to get up and get dressed for work.
Everything was meant to be normal.... what happened?
I took a shower, made some food, and gathered my things. Anticipating that long work hours for tonight.
I walked to my car, quickly setting my things on the passenger side seat and then making my way around to the driver side… but something stopped me. the low humming…. the soft beeping…. the weird rhythmic vibration of the cement beneath me… I quickly looked around for any sign of machinery or… anything that could make such a noise… nothing. Nothing but the cars that lined my street and the soft buzzing of the street lamps that softly aluminate the pavement beneath me.
I turned back around, quickly opening my car door and about to sit inside until…"Come with us."
I shriek as I am yanked backwards by my wrists and slammed up against my car. I tilt and turn my head as best as I can. "What the hell are you doing!?" I shout at the people dressed as.. robots? I scoff of course, thinking this is some weird prank or an…. odd robbery. I see one of them come to my left side, gun in hand. Looks much like a water gun with shiny metal bits attached. I roll my eyes, a prank… of course. "I'm gonna be lat-" "you do not have permission to communicate." I furrow my brows. This is ridiculous! I stare at the man as he aims the "gun" at me. I wince, waiting for water to shoot out of this thing, until this weird red beam of light comes out seeming to scan me up and down. "It is what we need." I am pulled up from off the car with force. I wince from the strength of his grasp. Trying to shake him off only makes him grip tighter and I am for certain it will leave bruises. I am forced to walk with them, getting shoved every so often to keep pace.
As we walk, my eyes latch on to something I have never seen before... or at least never paid attention to.
In my neighbors yard sits…A strange police…box? I've never seen that there before… unless my neighbors has gotten really into a peculiar sense of decoration. I see a man step out of said box… He's not my neighbor and I’ve definitely haven’t seen this man before in my neighborhood- Who is he? I am knocked from my thoughts with a big shove, having stopped to stare at the man. The "robots" rushing me along as the man makes eye contact with me. He puts his finger up to his lips in a shushing motion as he slowly creeps through the shadows. I look forward hearing the same low humming and soft beeping, seeing some type of ship materialize right in front of me.
My head slowly starts to feel watered down. My brain trying to rationalize everything in front of me, yet every rational guess coming to a screeching halt as nothing right now makes any sense. We slowly approach this air craft of some sort. As we get 20 feet away from the ship, the robots start to spaz in front me, one by one falling to the ground. As the robots that were holding onto me falls, I'm taken down with it. My hands being held by the things harsh grasp, I can not catch my self- crashing into the body of one of the fallen robots. My vision turns dark, all senses seeming to collapse all at once. And that's where I am now... Having woke up in this blue box that is some how bigger on the inside than on the outside and the man that claims that he is the 'doctor' saying he saved me going on and on about quantum physics and time. "I'm gonna be honest," I say, halting the doctors unstopping discussion,
"I have already came to the conclusion that this," I jester around towards…. everything, "is a dream. This talk about time and this… thing…. box… makes no sense, not to mention the weird metal robots that tried to kidnap me….I would like to wake up now."
The doctor laughs seemingly amused, "believe what you want but this…” he mocks my jesters from earlier, "…is reality. I know that may be hard to decipher in that human brain of yours but you can't argue with a Time Lord." I stare, my mouth slightly agape, "a…. time… lord… you're kidding!" i say, laughing out of bewilderment. "nope, sorry to say I'm not kidding!" he says while shaking his head. I laugh, "well, until I am proved that I am not in a dream, I'm just gonna believe that all of this is… weirdly a part of my creativity." He tilts his head, a goofy smile showing up on his face as he makes his way around this table... controller... thing...
"Time shall tell." He quickly slams his fists down on a button, and flips a lever down. Everything kicks into actions from randoms sparks to the shaking and rumbling of the entire box as the doctor frantically pulls levers and turns things. Feeling my feet almost leave from underneath me grasp onto the nearest thing next to me, it being a hand rail. He looks at me, his grin growing huge…
"Oh this is gonna be fun!"

Regarding Homelander, Mirrorlander, and all those fucking mirrors.
My thoughts on this post by @deliciouskeys, @xieyaohuan, and an anon. (Anon please come talk to me about ML.)
I am always going to read Mirrorlander and Homelander as a system, so this post is coming from that interpretation. (And I am going to attempt to not turn this into a fic, although I make no promises 😭) Anyway, it's behind a cut to spare your dashes.
We know that Homelander, back when he was a little boy, when he was still John, created an imaginary friend. Most kids do this, at some point, in some form. But I don't think he stayed imaginary for long.
Imaginary friends are external, in my experience. Their dialogue and actions come from the mind of the child creating them, but they're "projected" into the world around them. This is why you'll see kids playing games with an imaginary friend, or setting a place at the table for someone who's not there, or telling their parents "Mom! You stepped on him!" Imaginary friends are essentially another toy for a child. Now, put a pin in this. We're coming back to it.
Now, if we know anything about Homelander, it's that he was not allowed to be a child. He didn't have toys or books; instead he had a security blanket, which seemed to be the only "normal" part of his childhood. I think if he did attempt to play with an imaginary friend, this was shut down, and fast. So he learned to interact with his friend quietly, in his head. And this, I think, is when his friend stopped being imaginary.
Let's remove that pin now. This is how people in a system communicate, generally speaking. Internally, with nothing to indicate to an outsider that there's a conversation happening. The more conversations John had with his friend (and he was still John at this point), the more real the friend became. Antony says this friend eventually became John's Mom and Dad; what does John know about parents at this point? He knows that they love and take care of their child.
We see in deleted scenes and flashbacks that John was a strong kid and a terrified kid. I think that eventually, in an effort to take care of John, his friend started pretending to be him. His friend began to take on part of the abuse and the scary parts while John watched. (In plural communities, this is known as fronting, and it's nowhere near as obvious as it is in the media.)
As John became the Homelander, his friend became something else too. What constituted "protection" became more and more extreme; he went from being a shield to protect a scared child to a club that forced him forward. This leads to the confrontation in front of the mirror that we see in S3. What the Homelander wants (what he needs) is love. Mirrorlander, on the other hand, is more cynical. He isn't here to make Homelander feel loved or safe. He's here to protect him. If someone loves the Homelander (or, more importantly, if the Homelander loves someone else), that's a weakness that can be exploited. Rather than deal with the mortifying ordeal of being known, Mirrorlander decides it's best not to bother. You can't be harmed by others if you don't let others in.
In a way, it makes a heartbreaking amount of sense.
Now, about the mirrors.
As a child, John had a child's imagination, and that can be a powerful thing. But, like everything else, that was taken from him by the researchers at Vought. The Homelander as we see him in the series, has absolutely 0 imagination. And this is where the mirrors come in. I don't think he sees Mirrorlander in every mirror, but I think they help facilitate conversations. I think it's easier for them to talk with mirrors.
I also don't think he had them put there simply for "abusive pep talks." Homelander wouldn't know a healthy relationship if it held him during a nightmare (what you had with Madelyn was not healthy, my friend), and he certainly wouldn't see a childhood friend as abusive. I don't even think he is abusive all the time. I think there are times when he genuinely helps the Homelander pump himself up for events, or talks him through hard times. (I think, for example, Mirrorlander was looking out for the Homelander during the incident with poor Randy Set Dec.)
The mirrors probably serve several purposes. They probably serve to artificially expand the space, like @xieyaohuan suggested. They're also probably there for sex reasons. But personally? I think that the biggest reason they're there is to help our guy stay in contact with his only childhood friend.

"goood morning dc!! we feel like we can finally say that, wow. i think it's time to take a deep breath as a city, and relax as the investigators have finally caught those monsters who were attacking our city. it is a beautiful, sunny saturday morning here and we are so looking forward to a normal weekend here now that our beloved city has been returned to its rightful glory. our thoughts are still with the families affected, and we wish our government a smooth transition during this time, but all in all, we think dc really came out on top-- now here's michael with the weather--"
well, investigators, you did it!!! you ended the killings before we lost any more members of our community, and we believe that those responsible are finally free of whatever magic possessed them. the pride that we had is just beyond words, seeing how much love, dedication and teamwork went into the last two weeks. the admins, for one, could barely look away from the clue chats to see you all working together, to see all of the jokes and laughing and bonding coming from the general event chats, and we hope that you guys truly did love this as much as we did. we hope that this event has strengthened the bonds within our little family, and maybe even formed new ones. but with that being said, another event here at hiddenwashington has come to an end! time for those we have loved and lost to begin to wake up, to find footing in their new, or newly reclaimed, lives, and for the city to return to its normal pace. please, from this point on, DO NOT POST ANY NEW CONVERSATIONS regarding the event ( new starters, or replies to OPEN event starters )!! that being said, YOU MAY CONTINUE TO WRAP UP YOUR EVENT CONVERSATIONS, put a nice ending to them, find a good stopping point, or adapt them to work outside the event!! we are also willing to allow you to keep writing any closed self paras that you may not have gotten a chance to complete throughout the event, just in case they're still in your head. from here on out, the dash will be going back to it’s normal interactions, and feel free to start writing accordingly!! to make that transition easier, each mun will be allowed ONE free starter, just like the start of the event, for the next 24 hours only! after that, our rules go back into place full force! remember that is ONE STARTER PER WRITER! NOT PER CHARACTER!! along with that, please remember your prizes, starting now, our BOGO on applications will begin for 24 hours, and end on sunday 6/25 at 11am est! if you have any question about the prizes please refer to this post here!! a quick reminder as well that activity has begun again, and we will be having our first check back on WEDNESDAY JUNE 28TH! please don't be on it, friends!!! but again, we just want to thank you all for the support of this event, for all the hard work, the memes and edits sent our way, and the outpouring of love and excitement that was felt for the past two weeks. we're sad to see this one go, but we are so thrilled to know it was a success and to introduce you to our next events later this year! we cannot wait to see where hidden's deadliest event leads your characters in the coming months !!!!
please give this a like once you’ve read it entirely, thank you!! have fun and happy rping!!

not sure how versed in visual fanart communities you are, but pixiv put out a statement to take action against sexual harassment in the workplace and fight against discrimination on the basis of gender and sexuality, and people are claiming it’s about censoring the content allowed on the platform. i really wish the twitter side of the profic community wasnt so reactionary. every day i see real issues of safety get turned into fannish discourse there. tumblrs a hellsite how are we better than twitter?
--
Well, for one thing, Twitter is a lot more popular now, so everyone chasing popularity went there.
For another, you can post long-ass shit on Tumblr, and that dumb social convention that this was ~rude~ has mostly evaporated as people's dashes have dried up. The takes may still be dumb, but at least we often know what OP actually meant before we all start screaming and not reading the follow ups.
And yes, the reaction to the pixiv thing is ridiculous. They're a company. They have a physical workplace where an employee was sexually harassed with behavior like her boss sticking his face in her crotch. After the company failed to adequately deal with the situation, she sued them. Fixing your HR department problems and putting out PR statements is a normal response to this. This isn't the first time either.
Just because dumbasses label horny fanworks they don't like "transphobia" or "abuse" doesn't mean those actual things have stopped existing in the world.
