Hehehehe another comm, a very fun one for @blazer333 based on their FANTASTIC one shot, Water on Fire (go read it seriously its hella good) as well as this previous commision I did for them featuring a Bill/Lapis fusion (Soadlite). Strangling a child while also forcing him into a sadistic choice to either save himself or save his mother figure? Yeah def sounds like the kinda thing Bill would do, the bastard.

What I like about Rockman.exe is that. they push the notion that Netto is the wild card between the two so much, right, like he's the classic loud, reckless kid who jumps out of windows and runs into radiation on purpose. so, next to the sweet and mild-mannered Rockman, he's gotta be the crazy one of the two, right?

Except at every turn, Rockman proves time and again to be WAY more susceptible to unhinged behavior than Netto could ever be

And to his credit, the stuff with Dark Rockman and the Cybeast forms were caused by external factors, even if it still adds to a narrative pattern that I'm very invested in. But the part in the manga where he tears a navi apart with his bare hands was 100% pure Rockman rage, and Netto has to be the one to tell him not to give in to it while he's strangling his evil double in the background

The best way I can think to explain it is that Netto is a consistent level of insane across the board regardless of the situation, while Rockman switches rapidly between the extremes of being Actually Normal and needing to be physically restrained to stop his bloodlust. And truly, who else is doing it like them

I feel compelled to gush, maybe ramble this morning-

Her eyes, not every artist, keep the oval pupils. I go back and froth using it as a descriptive myself. I use it for fanfic rather than rp. Easier, and less distracting when I think about her day-to-day. The cat eyes would stand out a lot. HOWEVER, I LOVE IT 100% all the time in comics.

We rarely get to see O.roro emotionally rage during a fight. Her rage is usually shown through her powers, while her body language remains controlled, and an intimate brawl with her little bro is the perfect setting.

Not having them refer to each other as brother and sister was a HUGE miss tho, could have packed even more of a punch on the feels. It still works if you know their history, but why hold back?

We support O.roro's rights and her wrongs in this house! When you're morally correct, 75% that 25% slaps hard! And she's not even totally wrong here, but yes, O.roro is a hypocrite. She doesn't like being told about herself by the family, and SHE LIES. Usually, for what she deems a greater good, but if anyone else were keeping the secret she is in this arc, she would give them shit, and so I'm going to give it to her.
