what i would give for a ghost based cod campaign. can you imagine if they pulled from the comics and had roba come back and want to get revenge against ghost for destroying his empire? the 141 slowly learning about simon riley and banding together to kill his ghost?

ghost being so certain he killed roba to set up an unreliable narrator; taking this unfathomable soldier, the nightmare of the 141, and realising he bleeds humanity. playing as ghost through flashbacks of mexico and his torture under roba but in the current time, little details break down; little inconsistencies of enemy numbers or base layout or what people look like, things that you can't be sure if you the player just missed something or if it’s really ghost seeing things that aren’t there

ghost starting to question how much of his memory is real, both what he went through with roba and what he’s currently experiencing; if it's his trauma bleeding through or if he's breaking for the last time. he doesn’t know if he can trust himself ("just make sure you can trust yourself. start there") and he has to reckon with completely trusting the 141 when he realises he can't

i need a sequence of him just losing his shit; hearing roba's voice in his head, his taunting “english” telling him he never left his compound, seeing the dead prostitute and his father laughing, always laughing, the tear of the meathook between his ribs and sting of the scorpions in his flesh, the coffin and the rotting stench of the dark and all of it culminating in ghost almost accidentally shooting soap when he tries to talk him down

whether it ends up being someone pretending to be roba or they just change it to roba still being alive, either way i need a ghost based campaign with personal stakes and character depth

When Dedra’s arrested and thrown in an Imperial holding cell prior to being transported to prison, before Heert visits her, Partagaz pulls rank and takes over her processing personally.

He doesn’t strip her of her rank plaque, code cylinders, and belt with the vicious glee or squirming embarrassment the low ranking custodial officer assigned to her would display.

He removes these symbols with the same reverence he showed when he gave them to her upon her promotion to Supervisor.

He looks her in the eyes the entire time. He silently tells her that he's holding onto them for safekeeping, that they'll be safe in his locked drawer until she's ready to wear them again.

They both know he's lying. Dedra silently thanks him anyway.

Partagaz already knows the end result between the Empire and the Rebels and he will make this one of his final acts before he bows out before he's blown out, a display of respect and gratitude to the best officer he's ever known, a restrained lamentation that in another life they'd have steered the galaxy to pristine safety and control together, side by side.

some small kuroba updates : their pronouns are now they / he and i also knocked their tits clean off with that bat. 😔 ( more serious explanation for the change under the cut. tw for mentions of gender dysphoria. )

something i was thinking a lot about while i was away was kuroba's experience with gender and how they felt about their body. a major source of his dysphoria is his chest and i always imagined he'd get top surgery at some point in his life, so i think it makes more sense for him to get it done sooner rather than later.

now, kuroba had their top surgery done not too long after they graduated college, thinking it was better to handle it before having to shift their focus mainly on working at their family's flower shop. therefore, any previously drawn boob jumpscares have been retconned so that kuroba mainly sleeps in just their bottoms whenever they opt to not wear a tank top to bed.

the pronoun change was inevitable, i could feel it in my bones.
