One of the examples and additional context given is that asker may have heard of this hc since it's popular in LU, but that it's not canon. Ovega: I hate that LU is so prevalent. this is really similar to what happened when Ovega expressed humor and exasperation over some interpretations of Dark Link and Volga in one of her comics.

Ovega: People keep commenting they think it's father-son. In neither of these cases did a LU fan come in policing things. It's the people providing context or dissing LU who are making it about LU, and yet Ovega has been adding onto and encouraging hatred against the LU fandom. She's angry with the people answering questions but her and her followers are blaming the LU fandom for it. It's not fair.

I thought something people wanted from the LU fandom was to provide context to those who think it might be LU. However, in both these cases, it didn't start out as people thinking it must be LU, and yet that's what most of the anger in the reblogs and comments are about.

Nowhere did a LU fan come in saying anything had to be a certain way because it's like that in LU. Why is the LU fandom being blamed for this one??? (why is it that someone asking a clarifying question (or sharing a "bad" headcanon) is assumed to be a LU fan?)

What's really frustrating is that she has a large audience of people eager to bash the LU fandom. It doesn't matter what the reason is and it doesn't matter if it makes sense.

I have been unemployed for the last year and some months and getting an interview alone has been really tough but I still really want to continue writing. However, I’ve only been using an iPad and going to my library when I have the time. I feel like I’d be more engaging with a proper laptop to work on.

i personally don’t agree with your statement what you’re expected to reblog. i thought i could just use this app for fun and to read about my fav artists without being expected to do anything, and never really planned on being active and making reblogging a routine parr of my reading experience

then i guess you're not really aware with how this app works. tumblr is a reblogging site. that's the only way posts, or in this case fics, can get around and reach new audiences. the algorithm doesn't care aboit likes. tumblr doesn't care about comments (but i appreciate those as well!!)

if you enjoy and have fun reading the works of authors who spend hours of their days making content for you to consume, don't you think the bare minimum you can do is click that tiny button at the bottom of the post to show your appreciation, no?

If you want an AI to spit out a story for you, that's on you. But I did not spend days and weeks plotting, writing and rewriting and going over a fic ten times for you to threaten to put it onto an AI for a quick update.

I work. I am a nurse. I also have a family and friends, and have many other hobbies. Many writers can give you fics on the daily, but I can't. I've never done it and I won't start now. If you want daily updates find another author for you or write yourself.

I write slow, I don't have much time for it. I also have mental and physical issues. I doubt everything I write as English is a self taught language for me. And I've stopped enjoying a series or no longer vibe with it I won't write it because I won't force myself to post some half assed shit that will disappoint others and myself

Feeding fics to AIs is what drives authors away from writing and out of their blogs. Comments like these won't make us update faster it'll only make us wanna quit

I BEAT IN STARS AND TIME YEATERDAY IT WAS SO GOOD!!

I didn't post about it cause I was overwhelmed. Very emotionally heavy story. Also I forgor. But it's very good, I think that anyone who wouldn't have a panic attack and or die because of the content should play it (PLEASE check content warnings on games before you play them, especially this one, so you don't have a panic attack and or die. Or if it just makes you uncomfortable its also cool to want to avoid it but I like being dramatic sometimes)

This is genuinely the best take on a time loop I have ever seen in any media ever. And the writing is incredibly good also, everything in it is so carefully constructed that it all feels very real and realistic, the characters actually feel like real people who are having conversations, the dialogue flows super smoothly and is very coherent, the overarching story is very good, and the worldbuilding, though not incredibly present in the actual game, the hints you get throughout the game of how the world works is soo good, really puts you in the place of the character.

Also, for any depression havers out there, this game is very much centered on how a time loop would affect a person's mental health if it were to happen, and it DOES NOT HOLD BACK. It gets into all of the stuff normally presented in a game with depression as a theme (celeste, chicory, etc) but also goes in depth about the stuff people don't like to talk about with depression (so, again, check the warnings on the game before playing if you are interested) which I really appreciated. This game really manages to make you feel absolutely terrible in the best way possible. I am going to force everyone I know and love to play this game

Also please go check out @insertdisc5 they made this whole masterpiece of a game (excluding the music and sfx, but it's still extremely impressive) and I think it should be more popular.
