After ten straight days of 10hr work days I finally sat down and finished this piece! :)

Inspired by the story: ‘You’re perfect (and everything in between too!)’ by @blitzwhore . This scene has made me laugh since @larryisnotagirl read it out loud to me lol.

Poor Stolas is trying so hard to play it off like he didn’t just order the spiciest thing on the menu and Blitz is just sitting here totally smitten regardless.

I’m working on getting better at realizing backgrounds in my digital art as it’s never been something I’ve delved into but this piece definitely needed!

I headcanon that the Toon Handlers see themselves as parents for their toons and vice versa.

Let me elaborate more.

(Stuff below would be before Gardenview shut down I guess)

I think that Veronica and Shanon are gentle parents (? Gentle parenting or whatever. The kind who get disappointed and quiet rather than loud and angry lol). They're both kinda worried for different reasons. Veronica is worried that Vee doesn't need her anymore, and Shanon is worried that Shelly will need her forever. (If that makes sense idk)

I see so many people think that Sam is really mean, but I don't think that they would be. I feel like Sam is the parent that's constantly overwhelmed and exhausted. I mean in the little note thing they do say they gotta keep the place from burning down. Which makes me think that Sprout is likely very forgetful and clumsy (I hc him with ADHD as well) and he might forget to turn off the oven/stove/ect. I like to think they help teach him to make new recipes.

Austin I feel is the protective kind of parent. Not like overbearing, but just that he'd literally die for Astro or something. I mainly think this because in his toon handler image he looks a bit angry and is standing in front of Astro (the rules LITERALLY state "No cameras around Astro, so ofc.).

I havent really thought about what kind of parent Devan would be. I like to think he's very playful though. Like the kind of dad who will throw their toddler in the air and catch them (would be kinda cool if he does that with Dandy, which would be why in that one animation Dandy does the same with Pebble.).

After Gardenview shut down, they would all (very obviously) be devastated. I haven't thought to hard on how I think the handlers would've reacted, but for the toons I have.

I would think that Vee and Sprout might've gotten pretty angry. Sprout likely overthinking a lot of what was happening, while Vee would be overwhelmed with processing the fact that 1, Gardenview was literally shut down, and 2, that their handlers were GONE.

Dandy and Shelly would both be extremely upset but they'd try to sort of hide it behind smiles. Shelly's smiles would all look sad and wouldn't have really hidden anything. Dandy's all look strained, like he's REALLY forcing them.

Astro I think would be very overwhelmed by everything, but he'd try his best to stay calm (mostly for his friends. He'd probably be the best at hiding just how worried he was.), but idk I haven't thought too hard on how'd he'd react.

I imagined that the reason Taco looks different between season 1 and season 2 is because, midway through season 1, a very clever bug got inside Taco and started controlling them.

If that were true, Taco's condition would have gotten worse over time. I just drew something I thought of.

Kinda inspired by a hc I saw(and stole/j/silly) where electronic objects can emit heat due to their systems, and since Taco had been living in the cold woods for a majority of her life, I'd like to think she would(at the very least, subconsciously) cuddle with said object for warmth(in this case being MePhone4).

Started as a male character, then Aurther decided to make her a girl. And people in the Dandy's World Universe found the show and was like, "OMG TRANS CHARACTER :0"

And if Aurther was still around, he'd likely canonized it, but for now, it's just a popular headcanon in the universe.
