Which modern professions would each character mostly end up with? (beside family/house legacy...business) :D
You mean if they aren’t allowed to be nepo babies like in Love Actually? 😂
Aegon: something that gives him flexibility to move on if he gets bored. Definitely not something that requires him to sit at a desk all day. I can see him trying a variety of things, like night club DJ and standup comedian. Whatever pays for his room and board until he flits off to the next thing that catches his eye. When he eventually settles down, he gets into coaching youth sports and yells at everyone who isn’t Cheeseball.
Jace: She would 100% be the breadwinner between her and Aegon. Even without a nepo cushion, she would do well climbing up the corporate ladder somewhere. But she’s too nice, so she probably tops out at management or director level; she doesn’t get to the C-suite. She probably does marketing.
Aemond: Consulting. What kind of consulting? IDK, but he gets paid a ton of money to tell people they’re idiots.
Luce: Accountant. Also runs an Etsy shop.
Daeron: He goes to law school because he wants to help people, but he ends up getting stuck at a giant law firm that represents oil and tobacco companies. Eventually he quits and goes into public service.
Joff: She has a PhD in a very niche but desirable field, so she ends up in a cushy professor position at a top university. Her teaching requirement is minimal, she’s mostly there for research.
Helaena: Entomologist is too easy of an answer. She would enjoy a very solo kind of job, like archivist or coder, which allows her to mostly do stuff on her own without needing to deal with people.
Baela: Like Aegon, she cannot do a desk job. Maybe being a bodyguard for female celebrities so she gets an excuse to knock guys onto their butts.
Rhaena: A people-oriented job (so the opposite of Helaena) with a big organizational component. Probably event planning, or even wedding planning. She’d be great at dealing with bridezillas.

If the Velaryon girls, Baela & Rhanea, and the Green boys got arrested, what would each of them be arrested for?
Amazing question. I’m going to presume this is for a modern AU.
Aegon: trespassing during one of his detective missions. Also stealing, but it wasn’t intentional. He just picked up a cool tchotchke and forgot he was carrying it.
Jace: running a stop sign while she was stressed. She turns herself in. The police try to tell her this isn’t arrest-worthy, but she doesn’t believe them.
Aemond: beating up Clement Celtigar for trying to publish AI-generated photos of Luce.
Luce: beating up Clement Celtigar for trying to publish AI-generated photos of her.
Daeron: gullibly accepted “headache meds” from a friend while studying for final exams, gets woken up by a campus security guard who found him naked on the campus quad at 5:30 AM.
Joff: planting a toxic substance in food intended for Daeron’s friend who gave him “headache meds.”
Baela: street-racing and crashing. Nobody was harmed, but the car was totaled. It was Daemon’s prized sports car. He doesn’t pay her bail.
Rhaena: conspiracy. Conspiracy for what, I’m not sure yet, but that girl is sneakier than she appears.
Not sure if you intended to exclude Helaena because Helaena’s too innocent to be arrested. 😂 If I had to put something down for her, it’d be for suddenly appearing at people’s bedroom windows at night so she can shout ominous predictions at them.

i can’t remember if you already answered this but what are the Targbros and Velargirls zodiac signs? are the couples signs compatible?
I haven’t answered this before! I’m not an astrology person so I don’t know a lot about zodiac sign compatibility, but I can share their zodiac signs based on their approximate namedays that I gave them.
If anyone who knows more about zodiac signs wants to give their opinions based on this info, please feel free to share!
Aegon: sixth moon/June, Gemini or Cancer
Jace: eighth moon/August, Leo or Virgo
Aemond: seventh moon/July, Cancer or Leo
Luce: third moon/March, Pisces or Aries
Daeron: fourth moon/April, Aries or Taurus
Joff: twelfth moon/December, Sagittarius or Capricorn
Helaena: ninth moon/September, Virgo or Libra
Baela and Rhaena: fifth moon/May, Taurus or Gemini (I feel like they HAVE to be Gemini)

Hi there! Can you tell us something like a fun fact of each couple I love your stories so much by the way
Jace is a blanket hog. Sometimes Aegon wakes up really cold in the middle of the night, and all the blankets are on her side.
If there is a Westerosi version of poker, Luce is way better than Aemond at playing it. She loves playing for money. He doesn't.
Joff didn't start talking until she was almost three, so her family was worried she was developmentally slow. But Daeron knew she could talk long before then; she just didn't want to do it in front of other people.

If the targbros and the Valsisters were in the Percy Jackson Universe who would be their godly parent?
It’s been a long time since I read Percy Jackson, so I’ll adjust the question to “who are their Greek mythological counterparts” and you can extrapolate the godly parent from there!
Aegon gets a Dionysus comparison a lot because of the wine and revelry, but I think my version has a lot of Hermes in him. Hermes’s domain involves being the protector of a lot of “regular” people, e.g. shepherds, merchants, messengers, thieves, and there are lots of stories where he’s running around in disguise. My Aegon also enjoys going undercover, and he has the most fun when he’s hanging out with smallfolk. And of all the Targkids, he’s the closest to a trickster type.
I would put down Jace as Athena. “But wait,” you might say, “Athena is a goddess of war and Jace hates war!” Warfare is only one of Athena’s many domains. We see way more stories about her as goddess of wisdom, handicraft, and protector of cities/heroes, which are much more Jace’s wheelhouse. And when though Jace is conflict-averse, she IS willing to do what’s necessary (e.g. Clement Celtigar in the Handbook, Viserys and the servants in Lavender).
Aemond has a strong sense of Ares, but my version has potential to mature into the Roman Mars equivalent. Greek Ares is all about war, valor, bloodlust, brutality. Roman Mars has war associations but is also an agricultural deity, because war and agriculture used to go hand in hand: when the military campaign season ends, the soldiers put down their swords and pick up their plows so they can return to their farms. I think one day, Aemond will be able to internalize that war is sometimes a grim necessity (not just an avenue to win glory), but peacetime and stability are vastly preferable.
Luce is like an Aphrodite who embraces her sea origins. One version has Aphrodite being born from sea foam. Luce-dite decides to keep hanging out with the Nereids in the water instead of going to Olympus. Like Poseidon, Aphrodite embodies a primordial force of nature that humanity both fears and reveres, and that’s the effect Luce has on…certain people. 👁️👄💎
(Fun fact: George O’Connor’s Olympians depicts Aphrodite with a lot of similar features to Luce.)
Daeron = Apollo. I debated switching Aegon and Daeron, because Apollo has music and sunlight which are very Aegon. But Apollo has a more prim, proper, and upright image which suits Daeron better. And as a chivalrous knight in training, music and poetry themes also apply to Daeron. But you also have Apollo’s dark side with plague etc, which likewise suits Daeron who also has a point where he’ll eventually snap.
Joff is 100% Hecate. Magic, witchcraft, crossroads, ghosts: need I say more? Hecate is the only deity listed here who isn’t an Olympian, and that seems very appropriate for Joff, who feels like she doesn’t quite fit in with “normal people.” And Hecate, like Joff, has a secret soft spot, e.g. when she helped Demeter search for Persephone (according to some versions of the myth).

which of the other westeros houses would best represent the tarkids? :o
I can totally see a badass Baela Greyjoy! :D
Oh I love this question. It's sending me down a very delightful rabbit hole.
Aegon: Martell. Aegon would have loved being born into a house where being the eldest son doesn't automatically mean he's the heir. Also, Dornish culture: they are relatively progressive compared to the rest of Westeros, but they're still upholding a feudal structure; they definitely don't represent 21st century views. (Also, Oberyn Martell sadly does not represent Dorne as a whole.) But that relatively freer culture would vastly appeal to Aegon. Also, the Martell/Tyrell rivalry is interesting because…
Jace: Tyrell. No, it's not JUST because they have a giant gold rose on their sigil. The Tyrells are pretty good at politicking, slowly building up their power base over the centuries that they've been the lords paramount of the Reach. Huge culture of tourneys, feasts, and chivalry, which is the sort of thing Jace loves. TBH a Jace and Margaery interaction would be interesting.
Aemond: Arryn. "As High as Honor" is a motto that Aemond can get behind (before he starts committing war crimes, at least). The Arryns/Vale have a rich history about the arrival of the Andals and the Faith of the Seven, which also seems like Aemond's thing. The Arryns are considered the purest and oldest line of Andal nobility, which is something he'd be quite proud of.
Luce: Manderly. The Manderlys were originally from the Reach before they overreached and were exiled, whereupon they went North. TBH that seems like something that might've happened to the Velaryons in an alternate timeline where they got on the Targaryens' nerves. The Manderlys are also big on trade, which is a very Luce thing. Plus their sigil has a mermaid.
Daeron: Dayne. At first I thought about putting him in a Reach house because of the knightly culture, but then I remembered the Daynes famously bestow the title "Sword of the Morning" to a knight in their family who is deemed worthy of carrying the sword Dawn. It would be very Daeron-ish of him to make it his life goal to become the Sword of the Morning.
Joff: Hightower. Controversial choice, but as I've previously said, the Hightowers can get up to some very witchy and mysterious experiments way up in their witchy and mysterious tower of arcane origins. Joff would LOVE having easy access to the Citadel and all their texts. She's also definitely trying to verify the rumor that you can see the Wall from the top of the Hightower.
Baela: Mormont. I hear what you're saying about the Greyjoys, but I think they do a bit too much raping and pillaging for Baela's comfort. The Mormonts, however, are honorable AND badass. Plus their women historically are trained in arms. They're quite poor, but Baela would enjoy the freedom.
Rhaena: Darklyn. I picked this mostly based on geography. Rhaena loves court life, so ideally her house is in the Crownlands within easy distance of KL. The Darklyns also have a proud history of the most number of Kingsguard knights from a single house. Plus, Duskendale is a prosperous trade town, which means Rhaena gets all her news of Essosi fashion trends more easily than if she were located elsewhere.
Helaena: Reed. Tell me that Helaena would NOT love living in a swamp where she doesn't have to talk to people, and her house keeps moving so people can't track her down. Also, the Reeds are familiar with greensight, so her prophetic dreams might actually get a lot of serious attention from her family.

What's everybody's favorite Movie genre?
Aegon: Whatever genre you’d put Inglourious Basterds in. Irreverent, crass, funny and dramatic at the same time.
Jace: Classic romantic films, animated and live action. So Disney’s original Cinderella, the Romeo & Juliet with Olivia Hussey, that sort of thing.
Aemond: He SAYS artsy indie films, but really he enjoys spy movies like James Bond and Mission Impossible.
Luce: Movie musicals. All of them. Any of them. Also mermaid movies.
Daeron: Unlike Aemond, he actually enjoys artsy indie films. (Oldtown seems like it’d be an artsy hub.) Bonus if the film is in French.
Joff: Psychological thrillers. Not super into jump-scares, but she likes getting her mind blown.
Baela: Mindless action movies with lots of explosions and combat scenes.
Rhaena: Any period drama with an excellent costuming department.
Helaena: Just for giggles, I’m gonna say she’s an anime weeb.

What physical trait of the Velargirls do their Targbro love the most? (like their hair, smile, etc.)
(Keeping these answers SFW.)
Jace: Aegon could write an entire (family-friendly) song about her eyes, which are that peculiar shade of Tyroshi (AKA Tyrian) purple as described in The Golds. I could see him doodling her eyes and keeping an eye portrait on his person.
Luce: It has to be the hair. Aemond tries to keep rigid control over all aspects of his life (including his own hair), but he’s a bit in awe of Luce’s wild curls. Something metaphor, something the sea, something force of nature.
Joff: Hands! Joff is always up to some experiment or project, which means she gets mysterious burns and cuts on her hands regularly. Daeron tries to keep track of all her little scars, so he knows the story behind each one.

What would everybody's fit have been to the Met Gala? Not necessarily based on any theme just a specific outfit from the Met Gala that you saw and just immediately thought of your characters?
Zendaya goes to the Met Gala pretty much every year, so that makes Jace pretty easy. I think Jace would do great with something like this, but change the coloring so it’s lighter (pink and gold, probably).

Rachel Zegler’s water princess look the other year was very on point for Luce.

And Jenna Ortega the other year for Joff, but maybe a bit more red accents.

As for the boys…
I hate to say it, but I think Aemond would try to just wear a basic black tux. He might be persuaded to add a little pizzazz but it wouldn’t be too out there.

Daeron would go for something Tessarion blue.

Aegon is the most likely to go all out. Maybe some roses as a nod to Jace. Maybe the little neck chain that he always wears in canon. Definitely something shiny.

Between all the Targkids and Velargirls, who would everybody's pokemon companion?
Oh boy, this is definitely testing my childhood memories. I’m just going by vibes and looks for the most part.
Aegon: Pikachu, because he’s kinda gold-colored and Aegon has an aesthetic. Also Aegon would get shocked every time he hugs Pikachu but he keeps doing it.
Jace: Roselia because it’s a pretty Pokémon with roses, but also secretly poisonous apparently.
Aemond: Charmander (he can work his way toward Charizard).
Luce: Horsea because seahorse.
Daeron: Togepi, it literally makes people happy.
Joff: Gengar because…just look at ‘em.
Baela: Machamp because look at those muscles!! Baela would be tag-teaming with them to beat up everyone she doesn’t like. 😂
Rhaena: Clefairy because pink. Also it has teeny butterfly wings on its back.
Helaena: Caterpie because I don’t think you can get a more iconic bug Pokémon.

What kind of relationships do the Velagirls have with the Targboys they're not romantically attached to? Like Aegon has proven to be the uncle you go to when mom said no to Joff with the curse tablet bit, but I feel like he has also definitely bribed Luce from time to time to get info about Jace. What do you think?
You described Aegon & Joff accurately. Aegon & Luce are a fairly similar relationship, but because she’s so close to Jace, Aegon has definitely milked that advantage. If Aegon wants to throw Jace a surprise party, Luce is his right-hand woman.
Aemond & Jace are study buddies. In a modern AU, they would also go to the gym together in a very platonic way. When Joff gets older, Aemond is definitely consulting her when he has questions about Valyrian occult topics. While she’s younger, their relationship is mostly Aemond pretending he didn’t see Joff doing sketchy things. Not even he’s willing to snitch on Joff.
As a kid, Daeron is mostly there as a cute cheerleader for Jace and Luce, giving pep talks and distractions and all that. When he’s older, he swoops to their rescue when they need to be extricated from delicate situations, like a foreign diplomat flirting too hard with them, without causing a big scene (because Aegon and Aemond would definitely cause a big scene).

In the sword sheaths and pears story you mention Joff and Daeron have been married for a while but have not consummated so I gotta ask in this scenario do all Velagirls and Targbros share a bedroom or they sleep separately ?
They’re all rich royals, so they have the space and money to have separate rooms. This is mostly for privacy purposes, like how Aegon uses his old bedroom as a study. That doesn’t necessarily mean they sleep separately.
As you may surmise from the fics, Jace and Aegon share a bed pretty much every night. They’re both a little too codependent to do otherwise.
Luce and Aemond usually share too. Sometimes when they have a bad fight, they go separate ways for the night. But when that happens, one of them usually slinks into the other person’s bedroom in the middle of the night, and they never mention it again. 😄
Joff and Daeron are the most likely to sleep separately on a regular basis. As mentioned in Compromise, Daeron kicks a lot in his sleep, and Joff isn’t putting up with that. Also she really likes her privacy. So they might have separate beds, but their rooms are pretty close.

What animal dogs and cats do each of the targbros and the Velaryon girls including Baela and rheana prefer like for a pet
Aegon: Golden Retriever. They’re friendly and loyal, and they have “golden” in the name. It’s meant to be.
Jace: She starts off thinking she’ll get a lap dog or a fancy cat, but she ends bonding with a Samoyed.
Bonus: a golden retriever/samoyed mix is SO CUTE.

Aemond: A large and aloof cat who believes it is a god. Something like a Maine Coone.
Luce: Orange cat, because they’re kinda dumb and she likes that.
Daeron: He is totally the kind of person who would rescue the saddest looking pitbull from the shelter and nurture the poor buddy back to health/happiness.
Joff: Black cat. No explanations.
Helaena: She loves weird creatures and weird-looking creatures. Sphynx.
Baela: Rhodesian ridgeback, a massive and energetic dog who loves to go running with her.
Rhaena: Turkish angora, an elegant cat who will sit on her lap while Rhaena pets the cat a la The Godfather.
Bonus: Rhaena puts a cute pink ribbon on it, like Marie in the Aristocats.

How would the targbros woo there girls romantically. Like which would give them gifts or flowers and what romantic thing would each of the targbros do?
We already have examples of what Aegon does! He loves buying presents: jewels, clothes, accessories, anything pretty for his pretty girl. 🌹 He also composes songs sometimes, but they aren’t always SFW. 🫢
Aemond…uh…is Aemond. 😂😅 He’s the kind of guy who would ask a servant/his assistant to buy an anniversary present and sign Aemond’s name on the card. But Luce wouldn’t let him get away with that, so instead we have Aemond fumbling to be romantic. He’s really an “actions speak louder than words” person, so his strong suit lies in doing things…like beating up a man being creepy toward his girl. 😛
Daeron is really great at the stereotypical romantic stuff, but it’s just his luck that Joff doesn’t care for that at all. The principle is the same, though. Just substitute flowers for poisonous plants, and writing love poems for unearthing an ancient Valyrian text about occult practices in the Freehold. Also Joff likes sweets, so that’s an easy one for him to get right.

Heartbreaking addition to the modern D&D group kids dynamic.
Viserys didn't play with the Targboys, but he did play with Rhaenyra, who in turn later played with her daughters, because she genuinely has fond memories of playing it with her dad.
🥺
The image of Rhaenyra DMing for her kids is so cute. “Well, Joff, if you want to befriend the evil shadow monster, you have to roll—oh, Nat 20? Uhhh. I guess the monster is now your pet.”
In the Love Actually verse, Rhaenyra reconciles with Viserys and Alicent when most of the kids are high school/middle school age. Imagine Rhaenyra and Viserys starting up a game with the Velargirls, and the Targkids are just standing to the side going “what the heck is this.”
🥺
(Maybe if Rhaenyra is nicer to her siblings in this universe, she can include them in some of the games.)

so, random ask, but what does everyone read? I mean, Jace obviously has a ton of stuff that she reads as heir and is established to have a secret weakness for terrible smutty romance, but what about everyone else? does Aemond secretly read cliche love poetry? does Jace do any pleasure reading that she's willing to talk about with people who aren't her husband? are things different in the modern verse where books are cheaper/more accessible?
Ooh this is such a fun question that I’m jumping it ahead in my queue to answer.
Aegon doesn’t read for fun. He barely even reads for studying. That’s why it’s such a big deal for Jace whenever he does research/acts smart. 🤭 But he does enjoy oral storytelling and plays. He particular likes anything comedic or satirical. Modern equivalent would be podcasts and video shorts on social media.
Other than the stuff you listed, Jace reads classical literature, and of course she’s read the Seven-Pointed Star. That’s probably what she discusses the most in public. Modern equivalent would be her reading literary fiction for book club but secretly reading AO3 at night.
Aemond also reads the classics and religious texts. Lots of history, philosophy, and military treatises. He probably has read lots of poetry, but it would all be by “respectable” poets from past generations. Maybe even some stuff in High Valyrian. He doesn’t always understand the meaning of the poems he reads (compared to Aegon, who can pick up on sex innuendoes from miles away). Modern equivalent would be him being “yeah of course I’ve read Shakespeare” but the dick joke go over his head.
Luce loves fairy tales and kids’ stories, even after she’s too old” for them. She is really intrigued by foreign stories she’s never hold before, which is probably why she talks to sailors at Spicetown. Also, as referenced in Compromise, she peruses the occasional economic treatise. Modern equivalent would be her browsing the YA section at the bookstore but also loading up on Adam Smith.
Daeron is well-versed in the typical nobleman’s canon of texts, same as Aemond. He feels more passionate than Aemond about poetry, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Daeron has tried composing some of his own poems. Modern equivalent would be Aristotle, Vergil, etc. and him going to Latin recital competitions or something. And he unironically enjoys it.
Joff digs up any and every text she can find about magic, Visenya, and Valyrian history. Modern equivalent… She’d basically an edgy nerd, so I think she’d be into Castlevania, Hannibal Lecter, Stephen King, that sort of thing.
