What is your opinion on.. I dunno, the Sega Dreamcast? Totally not asking this because I really want to find an old one so that I can play Sonic Adventure in its original format-.

(Yes I mean Sonic Adventure, not SA2, the original.)

Like, THE CONTROLLERS TOO. Odd shape. Has a huge slot for the special memory cards they gave you that also functioned as little handheld consoles too. VERY VERY ODD! ^u^

oh i LOVE the dreamcast its such a lovely lil machine! i've left mine gathering dust a bit too long and now it needs some maintenance....

the game selection on it is so good!! sonic adventure 1 and 2 being my favorites of course, they dont look or play this good on any other console! if you think its worth getting i seriously reccomend getting one to play SA1 alone. its really a night and day difference with the later ports, even with fixes and all! other than those i love using it to play fighting games (street fighter 3, marvel vs capcom and jojo's bizarre adventure play beautifully on it....) and arcade games (yu suzuki game works, crazy taxi, puyo puyo fever, DAYTONA MY BELOVED DAYTONA)

the vmu is.... interesting. i find it cute how i can bring chao with me into the real world and play around with them like a tamagotchi, but it's also just. very annoying to work with at times :/. it's got very little storage space, a single save file of sonic adventure 1 or 2 + chao data + chao adventure will run you an entire vmu, and they dont make them in bigger sizes. it feels like i'm in a constant struggle for storage.... the battery life is also pretty poor, they usually last me like a week i wanna say? and these things dont come cheap anymore! its getting harder to find places that still sell batteries!

THE CONTROLLER. GOD I LOVE THE CONTROLLER. i've got 3 controllers, all old as dirt, all of them still work beautifully. the stick and triggers really stand the test of time thanks to those hall-effects! and the shape just fits my hands so well! i specially love the LR placement it's probs the most comfortable one ive seen across any controller. only real complaint with this one is the lack of inputs compared to other controllers around it (no second stick, no second set of shoulder buttons, no C and Z buttons....) as well as the d-pad being pretty bad, but i can live with it. most of the time you wont even feel their absence

other than that.... i love how low the barrier of entry for games is as well. as long as you make sure to buy the correct revision of the console (which accounts for like. 90% of the dreamcasts in circulation at a minimum) you can play burnt CDs with no issues (tho they are a bit compromised due to the lower storage space compared to the console's proprietary GD-ROM discs), or for a bit of extra money you can buy a cheap ODE from aliexpress and play games off an sd card instead! no soldering required, its just plug and play!

um.... final thought.... the dreamcast is so cool and cute and i love her. just make sure to always plug her into the correct power supply. don't fry your dreamcast like i did!

god I'm so fucking furious at the removal of Te Reo Māori names from organisations around Aotearoa. it's a complete non-issue, every organisation has the English name directly underneath the Māori name. I have never once as an English speaker been unable to understand what an organisation is for. Winston Peters, the Deputy Prime Minister, who is literally Māori himself, said “Te Papa is a historic name but tell me this waka kotahi, how many boats have you seen going down the road?”. Waka does not just mean canoe. it means vessel, and waka kotahi (the transport agency of Aotearoa) explains this VERY SIMPLY on their official website. waka kotahi means to travel together as one. Can you see how fucking upsetting this is. A Māori person in power who is in agreement about banning his own language, being so cocky about something that he does not even understand due to the suppression of the language of his people. It makes me sick. I've seen reports from Māori people all over Aotearoa speaking out about how upset and furious they are, how decades of progress have been undone in the fight to restore the rights of their people who have for so long been oppressed and have suffered the effects of colonisation. Please share this if you can, I hate knowing how few people will hear about this, I know there is so much injustice in the world right now and it is so exhausting, I know. I love you all, keep it up.

I've read A LOT of DP comics, my design is mainly a mish mash of my favourite features from each Wade design I've seen

(there are many more beautiful Wades that inspired me but sadly I don't always find pics of them online)

The hole in the cheek comes from Wade Wilson's War, Ironically one of my least favourite DP comics 😭 but I DID appreciate the sheer badassery of this face reveal

When I first started drawing Deadpool back in February I got really into the idea of drawing his face suuuper messed up like that and only showing it once or twice (just to scare my instagram followers a little bit 😂),
