Signs and Portents Deleted Dialogue
The End of the Beginning: Hideout and Arlathan
Dialogue is sorted in scene order to the best of my ability.
Signs and Portents Masterpost About Deleted Dialogue
Rook: I don’t hear fighting. Are we sure Solas went in here?
Harding: The Venatori were sure.
Varric: Those paintings. Solas did those. I’d know his style anywhere.
Rook: Where is everyone? Does this place have a back door we don’t know about?
Neve: Not that I saw. But this place is full of surprises.
Rook: What is this? Those statues look like…
Neve: The Venatori that came in after Solas. He turned them to stone.
Do not reference past DA: Varric: Yep. he does that.
Reference past DA: Varric: He did this to half a Qunari invasion force a few years ago.
Mage Rook: I’ve studied magic a fair amount, but… the sheer power involved… Neve, did your training include a counter-spell for this? Neve: I’m not sure there is a counter-spell for this.
Non-Mage Rook: I’ve never seen anyone petrified by magic before. Neve, how do you counter something like this? Neve: I’m not sure you can.
Varric: I told you he was too powerful to just punch in the face.
Rook: Judging by the way Solas painted these elves, I think they’re binding the dragon.
Non-Veil Jumper Mage Rook: Neve, I’m so-so on elven magic, but… does that look like binding to you, maybe?
Veil Jumper Rook: I recognize this iconography from the Veil Jumpers. These are servants of the elven gods. They’re doing something to… is that a dragon?
Rook: Might be some useful gear here.
Do not reference past DA: Varric: Help yourself. Solas won’t mind.
Reference past DA Varric: Grab whatever you like. Solas left the Inquisition with some of out best gear. Far as I’m concerned, he owes us.
Neve: That’s some magic. Definitely not from Tevinter. Any guesses what it is?
Neve: Watch yourself. All the magic attracted demons!
Neve: This barrier will take a little finesse to disable. Want me to take a look?
Neve: Nothing to it.
Harding: There. Gate’s open.
Harding: These rocks. The demons left us a path to follow!
Varric: I’ll have to send them a thank-you note.
Varric: Rage demon! Watch out, they run hot!
Neve: I can cool it off.
Neve: Got more friends!
Neve: Oh! Charming!
Neve: There we go.
Harding: Please. Not more earthquakes. We don’t have the time!
Harding: That looks like a pride demon!
Varric: Like we didn’t have enough lightning crashing down already.
Varric: It’s all yours, Rook. Finish it off!
Harding: Would Solas summon demons to protect himself?
Varric: My guess is the Veil’s damaged enough for the demons to come through.
Harding: I can’t believe he’s trying to talk Solas down. I hope you were right to back him on it.
Harding: I can’t believe he thinks he can talk Solas down. Why didn’t he listen to us?
Rook: You think Varric’s having any luck getting through to Solas?
Harding: I hope so.
Neve: Judging by the sky, I wouldn’t count on it.
Neve: Looks like we’re clear for the moment.
Rook: Come on—let’s see how Varric’s doing.
Dialogue options:
Positive: Varric’s in trouble. Rook: Varric needs our help.
Sarcastic: I’m adjusting the plan. Rook: I’m thinking it’s time for a change of plans.
Stoic: I’ve had enough of Solas. Time to shut Solas up. We move to plan B.
Afraid: Shit. We have to do something! Rook: Shit! We need a better plan.
Rook: Agreed. But maybe we can disrupt his ritual.
Harding: These pillars? They’re part of the ritual, and that one’s not lit up yet.
Neve: Good eye. If we disable the pillar, it might throw off the enchantments.
Rook: That’s a lot of raw magic between us and the pillars.
Harding: I’ve scouted around magical hazards before. I can find us a safe route.
Neve: Are you sure? I know ritual magic. I might have a better shot at getting us through.
Dialogue options:
Harding, get us there. (Harding will lead the way and could be risking injury.)
Neve, lead the way. (Neve will lead the way and could be risking injury.)
Harding, get us there. Rook: Lead the way, Harding. Harding: I’m on it. Follow me.
Neve, lead the way. Rook: Get us over there, Neve. Neve: You got it. Let’s go.
Varric: Me? Take down the Dread Wolf? I’m flattered. No, I just came to ask you a question. So, you rebelled against the other gods, and it was a disaster. Then you imprisoned them and created the Veil, and that was a disaster. So how is this time gonna work out any better? Can you tell me that?
Solas: I understand your hesitance, but what I do now must be done, despite it being past your comprehension.
Varric: No mistake is worth killing innocent people over.
Solas: The question is what lives, and how. My ritual will heal the world, and restore what was driven out of balance.
Varric: C'mon, Chuckles. Who are you trying to convince here? Me, or yourself?
Solas: Varric…
Varric: You’re not the first good man I’ve seen talk himself into a bad decision. The question is whether you can admit it.

The End of the Beginning
Tumblr media
This is Kato looking at the destruction they caused, there's lots of swirling metal chunks in the air and the ground is splitting and being torn apart.
Tumblr media
This is when Kato's twin, Halcyon, arrives at the heart of the destruction to stop them.
Tumblr media
This shows the end of the fight, with Kato being cornered and Halcyon asking his questions.
Tumblr media
After hearing Kato says their last words, Halcyon splits Kato's soul to save them and give them a chance to live again. He then falls into a deep slumber and sinks into the underworld. Basile finds him in a field of poppies, and places him in a cave to keep him safe.
Tumblr media
The designs I'm using to represent my characters are just an abstract draft standing in for their actual appearance which I still haven't designed. They might take on similar characteristics to their drafts like the wings and accessories in their future designs though. They'll also have traits from their main inspiration, Thanatos(Death) for Kato and Hypnos(Sleep) for Halcyon.
This is one of the two big events the prologue/prequel of my story will be ending with. The other event is the creation of a New World.
The Old World was already dying so the story is about the trio(Kato, Halcyon and Basile) enjoying the beautiful sights it still has before it's too late. Kato makes the decision to destroy the old one so one of them can create a new one.

Why do people think Pyrrha had the Relic of Choice?
This is the Pyrrha's tiara.
Tumblr media
And this is the Relic of Choice, the Crown.
Tumblr media
Do they look alike?
I get that people want Pyrrha to still have a role in the series post-mortem, but I think "character example of why Oz's method is flawed" is much better than "Unwitting guardian of a divine artifact". And besides that, Amber, the previous Fall Maiden, was in stasis, they couldn't even open the vault!

The End Of The Beginning — Vol 3 [Yuno/Zaria] —————————————————————————————————————— [YEAR XXXX] —————————————————————————————————————— — Kamora Residence, Living Room — [Prancing about the living area without a care in the world, Yuno, Shu and Zaria all laughed contagiously while linking arms with one another.] [Dressed in white sleeping robes, the 3s merriment attracted the slow footsteps of their grandparents while their parents followed close behind…] Wataru: What’s all this gaiety in here? Lady Aine must take a liking to you… [His wife Haori laughs, her voice soft as she intertwines her hand tightly inside his own.] Haori: Lady Aine has blessed this house many times. We must be grateful for her presence, fear ceile! [Her daughter —the siblings mother— Kiyomi emerges with a smile, her golden eyes lingering on each of the children. Unbeknownst to any of them, Itsuki approaches from the rear, twirls her around and pauses in a dip position. Everyone was surprised, Kiyomi’s cheeks flushing bright red.] Kiyomi: It’s good to see you too, love… Itsuki: This family brings me utmost joy, none can hold a candle to you. [The 2 separated, leaving the siblings gaping at what their retina’s witnessed. Noticing their expressions of surprise, Itsuki chuckled and kneels down to them.] Itsuki: How does a story sound, Leanaí? [Without hesitation, the 3 nod excitedly as they positioned themselves on his lap. Shu was on his left leg, Zaria on his right and Yuno was in between the 2 of them. Itsuki sighed and stroked his chin, as if trying to choose a story to tell…] Shu: What about Niamh and Oisin, father? Will they see each other again in Tir Nan Og? Zaria: We have yet to encounter the resolution, please tell us! [Itsuki pats both of their heads, his gaze falling on Yuno.] Yuno: I want to visit the land of youth again, father… [The 3 nestled into their fathers embrace as he begins to recount the tale, gesturing with his hands and swaying his body…] Itsuki: It all began with an otherworldly woman, an Irish man and a land unlike no other…
—————————————————————————————————————— [H ERA] —————————————————————————————————————— — Chuohku HQ, Fukuoka Division — [Zaria’s life was now in shambles. First her fathers conviction, the families backlash and her own lack of justice to change the world as soon as possible…] [Now? Her youngest brother was captured and hostage of their own balderdash government!] Zaria: Justice truly is blind after all… [The advocate glanced up at the door to her office, a visible figure standing in the doorway and asking for permission to come inside. A client, Zaria was always content with them no matter the circumstances.] Figure: I’ve come for protection, I hope I’m not wasting your time here… Zaria: Of course not, have a seat and let’s do business. [While the door closed from behind, both began to take turns in conversation, unbeknownst how much time continued to pass. After about 2-3 hours, they decided to wrap up with a few closing questions…] Zaria: So you are a survivor of the clones? Were they contracted to execute you? Figure: Correct, I barely escaped with my life. Prime Minister Totohen ordered them after my refusal to surrender to their wretched experiments… [Zaria winced, wondering how Yuno was holding out against Chuohku right now.] Zaria: We’re you imprisoned by chance? If what you speak is right, you would have been about to be utilized for the True Hypnosis Mic? Figure: I speak the truth… Figure: My wish is for them to fall and never rise again. Zaria: I understand, thank you for seeing me. [The figure bids her farewell and she was once again left alone in her office. Getting an idea, she pulls out a match from her pocket and sets it alight against the desk…] Zaria: By the power infested in me…I, Zaria Kamora will do my absolute best to care for you, Yuno! [Zaria slams her right fist on the table hard, signifying a gavels motion to finalize a verdict.]
—————————————————————————————————————— [H ERA — 3RD YEAR] —————————————————————————————————————— — Itsuki’s Study, Kamora Residence — “And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand…” [Yuno opens his eyes, bowing one last time to their father’s altar. Zaria inhaled the burning incense that began to run dry, announcing the end of their seance.] Zaria: It’s been a long time since I’ve seen him…Those 15 years. Yuno: We will one day free him, Zaria. He won’t have to suffer in the hands of them much longer… [The 2 siblings embraced each other at their words. Yuno’s arms gripped her shoulders while Zaria ran through his golden hair, reminiscent of the man they held with pride and respect.] [Despite firm belief, neither of them really fathomed the idea of forcing their father out of Chuohku’s prison. Yuno barely managed with his life, so how would their fathers fate be handled?] [Would it still even be considered possible…?] Yuno: When is everyone supposed to arrive here…? Zaria: I told them in a half hour or so? It’s been 20 minutes. [The siblings exchanged glances as they ran to the studies window. Sighing of relief, their teammates were looking up at them. However, they appeared to be trying to signal them or send them a message…] [Sprinting downstairs and opening the front door, the 2 were immediately met with the rest of their teams. Instead of showing urgency, their faces shared an expression of exhaustion.] Kairi: Tried to— [Kairi collapsed in Eko’s arms panting while Mai leaned on Shu’s shoulder in similar fashion.] Eko/Shu: Some bastards of a gang decided it was funny to battle us. We crushed them, but they left a few marks too… Mai: I guess we can come in? [Yuno and Zaria nod.] Everyone: We’ll avenge us soon enough…!!

So... "Unicorn: Warriors Eternal"
I finally watched the seemingly divisive finale for myself and... yeah, it's more or less a culmination on how I feel about the whole show.
Really fascinating in concept, amazing in aesthetics, but the story often feels like it struggle in really grasping what it wants to be and there are many crucial plot threads I just don't understand.
Because I'm an aesthetics guy, I naturally still enjoyed it quite a lot. And there is a lot of substance throughout the season that's not just good, but really good. Even in this one, I quite enjoyed just seeing all that Emma goes through.
But even I am not gonna argue it all particularly comes together, esp with the ending that the crew knew full well may go unresolved.
Overall: One of Gennedy's most flawed works, but even flawed Gennedy makes for quite an interesting experience like no other.

Signs and Portents Deleted Dialogue
The End of the Beginning: Solas and The Lighthouse
Dialogue is sorted in scene order to the best of my ability.
Signs and Portents Masterpost About Deleted Dialogue
Rook: What is this?
Rook: Uh-huh. So what is this? Your final revenge?
Solas: Hardly. Had I the power to hurt you here, you would already be dead.
Dialogue options:
Oh crap. (Dive for cover.)
Die, you bastard! (Attack Solas.)
What happened?
Oh crap. Solas: If I were capable of harming you, you would already be dead. Rook: Thanks?
Die, you bastard! Solas: You cannot hurt me either. Rook: Can’t blame me for trying. Where are we, anyway?
What happened? Rook: We were at the ritual site, then you got pulled into that magical… thing… Solas: Yes. The energy of the disrupted ritual pulled me into the Fade. Rook: Did I get pulled in when I wasn’t looking? Solas: No. You were knocked unconscious. In shedding blood at the ritual site, you created a connection I can access to speak with you. Rook: I’m concerned by the phrase “shedding blood.” Solas: You think I might dominate your mind with blood magic? Rook: Well I do now. Solas: Even were I so inclined, from here, I can do little more than to speak with you as your physical body dreams. —
Solas: You cannot hut me here, nor I you.
Solas: You disrupted my ritual, and the magical energies pulled me here, into the Fade.
Rook: Oops.
Solas: But you shed blood at the ritual site, enough for me to connect with you while your physical body lies unconscious.
Rook: So, what… you brought me here to attack my mind with blood magic?
Solas: Firstly, I abhor the use of blood magic. Secondly, I can do little more than speak with you from where I am now.
Dialogue options:
Then what is this?
Maybe I can hurt you!
I bet that stings.
Then what is this? Rook: Where are we? This looks…
Maybe I can hurt you! Solas: You cannot hurt me either. Rook: Can’t blame me for trying. Where are we, anyway?
I bet that stings. Rook: So, you can’t hurt me. Must be frustrating, given that I just ruined your ritual. Solas: You did far more than that. Rook: Where are we, anyway?
Solas: The ancient elven mages, in their power-hungry arrogance, sought not to be obeyed, but to be worshipped. They claimed the magic of the blight, and their corrupted madness would have burned this world to ash, had I not trapped them.
Dialogue options:
So you’re the hero.
Are you done?
You talk to much.
So you’re the hero. Rook: Varric says you always cast yourself in the role of the misunderstood hero. Solas: Varric. Varric sees the world as a story. Sometimes I wish I could see the same.
Are you done? Rook: Let me know when you’re finished, all right? Varric says you get pissy if you’re interrupted mid-monologue. Solas: Varric. Varric has also been known to share his stories at length, on occasion.
You talk to much. Rook: Varric says you love the sound of your own damn voice. Solas: Varric. Varric is hardly one to talk.
Scene continues.
Solas: In any case, he must be pleased, as I imagine you are. He has won. My ritual failed, and I am trapped here. You saved your world… at least from me.
Rook: And those things that got out? You said they were gods?
Rook: So you’re just going to sit here in the Fade and do nothing?
Solas: What should I do? You stopped me. You imprisoned me here. This is your responsibility.
Rook: Varric!
Varric: Hey! Look who’s still with us.
Dialogue options:
Are you shitting me?
But we made things worse.
I’m sorry you won’t be there.
Are you shitting me? Rook: So that’s it? Everything goes to shit and you’re leaving me in charge? Varric: Come on, Rook, you knew this could happen when you signed on. Rook: You neve said anything about being your second-in-command would mean you’d throw me to the wolves when things got worse!
But we made things worse.
I’m sorry you won’t be there. Rook: It should be you leading the charge. It won’t be the same without you. Varric: You’ll hardly even notice I’m gone. Even with Bianca’s help, I was never half as good a shot as Harding. Rook: It’s not Bianca we’ll be missing out there, Varric.
Varric: Well, of course it did. Nothing ever stays saved in this world, does it?
Rook: This isn’t the time for some sarcastic comment about danger. We need a plan! And a leader!
Varric: When I put this team together, what did l look for? A detective to find the Dread Wolf and a scout to get us a lay of the land. Exactly the people he’d expect me to recruit. Highly skilled. Disciplined. Predictable. And then there’s you. On the best day of his life, Solas wouldn’t see you coming, Rook.
Rook: Don’t. Don’t tell me what a great job I did when only one of us walked away from there.
Varric: Rook…
Dialogue options:
We have demons now?
Being in the Fade is bad.
This couldn’t get worse.
We have demons now? Rook: So after everything we just did, we still have to fight demons. Varric: Maybe not?
Being in the Fade is bad.
Mourn Watcher Rook: there are very few documented cases of people physically entering the Fade and surviving.
Non-Mourn Watcher Rook: People don’t, generally speaking, just go to the Fade while awake and live. Varric: It can happen. I won’t say it isn’t always weird, though.
This couldn’t get worse. Rook: Wow, there’s literally no was things could get worse, is there? Varric: never say that, Rook. It’s asking for trouble.
Harding: There’s no sign of demons. At least so far. Whatever this place is, it seems safe.
Rook: I guess I really should go take a look.
Rook: Outside. Got it.
Neve: (Sighs) Whatever this place is, we’re secure enough. For now.
Rook: I guess I should have a look around.
Rook: She took a walk in the Fade.
Varric: Harding, should you be on your feet? Sit down already.
Harding: I just—I’ll only be a minute.
Varric: Slick, take a break already. You’re making me feel bad.
Neve: What I wouldn’t give for an all-night apothecary and some bad coffee right now.

End of a Chapter…
knowing it’s the last time for a long time is such a silly feeling.
Perspectives have shifted, the rose colored lenses have shattered, and what was is no longer;
no unfinished business, no apologies left unsaid, no goodbyes to be had.
A year has passed, i have changed, they have too, and this is not my home anymore.
The end.
