Things are perking up a bit. The vet called back and offered to prescribe dewormer after we completely failed to find any over the counter options.
I got an appointment to get my boob looked at three months from now, under my deadname, until my beloveds boss said she knew a place that would be much faster. I was almost in tears when she was describing the hoops to change my legal name in their system. Getting the referral sent this time was way easier so fingers crossed I can get the marble examined sooner than June.

Dear Artists
I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but if you're one of those artists who posts their work and finds that it's not getting as much attention as you'd like it to, you're not alone, and that doesn't mean your art isn't beautiful.
-----
I've seen some pretty damn impressive art and story telling skills from underrated artists on a lot of social media apps, including this one. And unfortunately, a lot of the artworks/ artists I've seen don't have many likes, reposts, comments, ect. I don't know why that is, but don't let it discourage you! I'm sure the people liking your work are thinking the same thing as me:
-----
"Why does this artist not have more followers/ more love for their work?? It's amazing!"
-----
Personally, I don't know why, and I often feel bad about my art because of that. There are a lot of big artists out there, and somehow, things clicked for them. Whether it be because of networking, posting a lot every day, collaborating with other artists a lot, showing their work in galleries, comic cons, art festivals, or posting it on multiple different social media platforms- I don't know. A lot of that is probably why those artists are big.
-----
HOWEVER:
-----
You don't have to be a big artist for your work to mean something to someone. You don't have to be a successful artist for people to like your work and hire you for an art job. You don't even have to be all that skilled with your art techniques as long as you have a compelling story. There are many different art mediums you could try out, and maybe if you switch to another medium, your work will completely transform for the better! I don't know.
-----
Sometimes you may feel like things won't ever go your way, but never- NEVER- blame that on your skills as an artist. (If you're a beginner, obviously it'll take time to improve your skills, but even then, don't blame your skills. If you have a story to tell, and YOU love it, you tell it). The internet's a messed up place. Posts get pushed around everywhere- sometimes completely missing the right audience, I guess.
-----
Someday things will click though. There are plenty of creators that felt like things weren't working out so well when they first started, but eventually they made something (oftentimes ONE thing) that resonated with the world. For example: Scott Cawthon with FNAF, plenty of artists with stories featuring their OCs, Undertale AU creators, plenty of musicians with at least one song going viral, the guy who made the backrooms, even 70+ years ago with popular War posters made by artists like the "WE WANT YOU" poster or the "WE CAN DO IT" poster
-----
I'm not sure if I'm making any sense with what I'm trying to say here (it's 2 am), but to sum things up: keep trying, there's nothing wrong with your art- you just gotta find the right audience, maybe try a different medium to shake things up, and most importantly:
-----
LOVE WHAT YOU CREATE
-----
It doesn't matter if it's fanart or original art. If you love it, someone else will, too. Doesn't matter if it's 12 people, or 1000 people. Even one person loving it is awesome.

wanting to be tickled and being insecure of my smile/laugh is a bit of an unfortunate combo for me because what do you mean i can’t cover my mouth and cover spidering fingers at the same time all while trying not to crumble under compliments and cruel tickles
