Cats and Nasturtium Flowers~ something which was going to be a custom sticker sheet (for me to decorate my scrapbook with) until I realized that most sticker printing websites have like Actual Guidelines you're supposed to follow in terms of file type of the image and other things lol.. There's sometimes a breezy almost sketchy#style that comes with an implication of 'this person has drawn this thing so many times that its become intuitive for them and takes them#like 2 seconds to smoothly dash out this shapely line with the perfect weight and movement' etc. etc.#Some of my art looks like that to me. But then my cats are like.. This Person Was Trying Very Hard To Draw A Cat lol#to ME at least. It probably doesnt seem that way on the outside. And maybe I'm just too deep into it. you know britpicking? like where an american writes a fanfic set in england, or with an english character, and they get an english friend to look through it and check through it to see if the terms and phrases are accurate? (eg. flat instead of apartment)
well i propose there be such a concept for star trek
because people in star trek talk differently than modern humans. they use different words, different slang, phrasings. yes, they can speak casually but mostly it isn't like us. watch any of 90s trek and you'll see These People Do Not Speak Like Us
and, no disrespect, a lot of fic does not reflect this. and it irks me. they just speak like modern day people instead of... star trek characters. i personally think part of the fun of writing trek characters is writing it out to how they speak and how they would think
hell, this isnt even a fanfic problem. modern trek has this issue too. i think outta laziness. they have their people talking (and when in casual wear, dressing) like 2020s people and it pisses me off

Amazing, take some of the side character demons from Evil Bound.
Vincie is a menace to Chuck and Chuck alone so in Hell, Chuck hexes his hand behind his back so that he isn't grabbed as much (and it's harder to pet him). Chuck is like the most irresponsible older sibling ever to demons though so Kelvin recruits him (as an older sibling vibe) to go help him get his ACTUAL older sibling from Earth. Chuck agrees. And then drags Vincie from Hell with them because no one else wants to babysit him and he refuses to unbind the hex just to re-hex when he returns to Hell.
In Hell, Kelvin actually doesn't appear much different than his human form! Like Kronos, the lines under his eyes are red in Hell but black on earth. Chuck however? In Hell he has wolf-ish ears and has a fur lining his neck (note the neck scars in human form). In addition to that he has four eyes in Hell (note the scars under his eyes in human form). Vincie just has horns in Hell. And! In Hell the hex doesn't have a silly looking "tied up" look, it's invisible unless Vincie strains it with movement and then its red text. But it shifts on earth to be visible.
Vincie's biggest agony for the entirety on earth is "dude it's colder here than in Hell I want a jacket to slip my arms into BUT I CANT BECAUSE IM BOUND".
#my characters#amazing show stopping rng wheel thanks#i have my oc plots on a wheel - thats 80 different options! wow! - and spun it#i spun twice and the first time it was the bodyguard plot that i drew a few days ago#the second time was evil bound#i genuinely think it new its a bad day and im not doing well so it took it easy on me with things id done recently#anyway ive never colored kelvin before which i realized today#i only have pencil art of him#also fun fact about their lil earth adventures#they fucking fail horrifically the first time they go and kronos doesnt go back#then they go back to try and get him to forcefully bring him back and theeeeen shit hits the fan#and so vincie is vibing with tolliver since hes basically useless without hands and then oops!#no more hex! and so he starts to get really super scared and tolliver is like uh isnt that a good thing your hands are free now#and vincie is horrified because the only way to break a hex from a distance is if the caster is near dead or dead#and if thats the case chuck is probably dead and that means what if kronos and kelvin are dead#how is he gonna get back to hell alone and is HE going to get punished for it#but then kronos and kelvin show up and take vincie back to hell with the not breathing chuck#but its fine in the end bc the succubi bring him back to ... life ? question mark? anyway hes revived#but vincie does have a part where hes just crying in tollivers apartment bc he thinks hes gonna be punished#for not helping the other demons and then they died#but chuck dying is basically why kronos goes back to hell - he feels responsible (hes at fault so good for him to own up)#vincie is one of the very few demons who doesnt have dark sclera#chuck vincie and kronos all have black sclera while the succubi have gray#i dont think there was ever a reason for it tbh i should make up a reason#time to go lie down and not exist the rest of the night if i can avoid it

Oooh. That's a good question, and unfortunately I don't remember the answer 😅 to be entirely honest I don't watch many movies or tv shows! I mostly just have various videos essays or astronomy college lectures on in the background while I make stuff. Keeps me sane.

For the art tax (stuff I do while half listening to youtube) have this Espeon I made! Patterned it up myself through Much Suffering... I really wanna make glaceon but I need a Very Specific Color that.. kinda just doesn't exist? So I had it printed on plain minky and it's now in the mail.

#to explain the fabric color thing#i really like shiny glaceon. BUT! i ended up using a really lovely deep blue with a hint of purple for the accent color#(shannon cuddle 3 marlin purple if any of yall are curious. the color is delicious.)#and to match it for the second accent i need a periwinkle color thats halfway between blue and purple#which basically doesnt exist anywhere#peri comes in dot minky but its more of a dark greyish blue than light blurple for lack of a better descriptor#and one place has the perfect shade but after ordering my fabric i looked up reviews and.#well.#i may or may not ever actually get said fabric.#so i just found the right color on spoonflower and ordered some of that along with a gorgeous nebula print#theoretically it arrives thursday!#and im trying to make a body pattern based off of this 10+ year old art i found online as inspiration#its so hard to pattern things#like dear god. end my suffering#but by the time i have an acceptable glaceon body made i should have my periwinkle fabric#to use for the other accent#hnnnng the color combo of white indigo and peri scratches my brain in such a way ghat it makes me go feral#....might have to post it when it comes in#and im partially redesigning glaceon to be a FLOOF#ok i really need to shut up and go shower

Terribly upset that I am willing to put so much love and effort into a relationship and people aren't willing to put in slightly more than the bare minimum for me
#just salty about it. do people still say salty. thats the first time ive said it in quite awhile#anyway#i have problems with my body. my body is thr equivalent of a house that someone wanted to save money on#so they had their second cousin do the wiring. and now an actual electrician is walking around just shaking their head#the actual electrician is my doctors who are horrified at whats going on in there#but because i have shoddy wiring. people have to put a little more effort in than the bare minimum. its crazy#tmi sex mention ahead#there are various things that make it slightly different for me to have sex. not impossible. not even difficult really. just different#but do you think people are willing to work with those differences? nope. again its not impossible or even really difficult#but also one of the issues technically could be fixed. i dont want to fix it. it would be painful and difficult and i dont mind the issue#but people im with all want me to fix the issue. 'just fix the issue' no this is my body and i am not changing it for a 2 month relationship#also i got that long covid which drains my energy. stamina and endurance dont exist. so if i go on a walk or whatever#i need to rest more often than most people. again i can walk or be out. i just cant stand very long and need to take more breaks#it doesnt make things impossible or even too difficult. just different#am i crazy? am i asking for too much? for someone to love me enough to put in the effort to work with my differences?#i feel crazy considering why most of my exes have left#first- cuz im trans second- i left him we just werent a good match#third-cuz im trans fourth- changed her mind about a lot of shit really suddenly so ee no longer aligned#fifth- started as a long distnace relationship. knew that was the deal. decided she didnt like it#but tbh i wanted to leave her bcuz she didnt put any love care or effort into the relationship and i hated it#i think im going to become a nun actually. i think legally god has to love me no matter what#and he is in fact the electrician that fucked up the house of my body so it only seems fair#im realizing my explanation of my 4th ex doesnt explain it all. literally very siddenly she said she felt trapped#she said she didnt see a future with me and when i moved she wanted to open up the relationship#and another part of her wanting to open it was bcuz my body doesnt work the way she wanted it to for sex#so after literally three years after saying she wanted to marry me and such. literally a couple months after we discussed marriage#she dropped all of that shit on me. so i wasted three years there. im tired of relationships#im tired of this grandpa!#my exes and future partners: thats too damn bad!!

I’ve decided to interpret this as perhaps a form of lgbtq+ censorship probably by the ones who discovered her kingdom. Since she and her kingdom have been gone for a long time, there is probably not much known about her. Perhaps she was sapphic and butch, but that was hidden by the historians who discovered her kingdom by only depicting her when she was younger and fit into a more stereotypically feminine role. Perhaps very few people even know that she survived into adulthood at all…

Just remembered my brain getting stuck in gamer mode yesterday where I was watching one of Sean's videos (Scariest Videos on the Internet #3, I think?) and he said something like, "how are you supposed to leave the catacombs" and without missing a beat, I said: Just dig upwards, like in minecraft. And it took me a solid 2 seconds to realize that... you can't dig upwards... you can't stack dirt and stone on your feet in real life.
#aria rants#and then while going to sleep. i was thinkin bout that episode in dunmeshi where it took a while for laios to figure out#that the thing the living armour was protecting behind its shield was an eggsac and i was like: why did it took awhile for him#to figure that one out. it looks like cascoon from pokemon so that means its a cocoon or eggsac. and it took me another solid#2 seconds to realize that oh right. pokemon doesnt exist in dunmeshi... the internet doesnt exist in dunmeshi...#what lack of sleep and an erratic sleep sched does to your brain. was gettin sleepy again when i remembered bout it#like my sleep sched has been a wreck in a: id sleep at 1/2/3/4 but the best part is that id be waking up at 8/9 am#im counting that as a win cuz i got smth consistent going for me i just need to be just as consistent with sleeping
