Prison changes a lot of things about Spencer, so when you get back to his place after a quick run to the grocery store and find him packing away some of his things into boxes, you're not alarmed. “Spring cleaning?” you ask, stepping around him carefully where he's kneeling by the TV stand. 

“Making room,” he says. 

He must have bought something. You put your tote bag in the crook of your arm and bend a touch to kiss his cheek, his hair brushing your face. “You have so many things, Spence, you need a storage locker. You need two.” 

He feels blindly up your arm. 

You put the groceries away, wash your hands, and cut some veggies. You season them and put them in the oven to roast, calling Spencer to see what he wants with it. “You could have the leftover chicken, or I can make, like… anything you want, actually. Pork chops, or maybe forget that and we'll have pasta, I can frankenstein the– Hey, Spence? You listening?” 

You're not mad. He's always been prone to deep thought, but usually he isn't looking straight at you while you talk. “Spencer?” 

“You'll move in with me, right? If I ask?” 

You wring your hands. “You've asked me a hundred times.” 

“But this time, you'll say yes.” He's staring at you. He already knows. 

“You can at least pretend to ask me.” 

Spencer closes the box in front of him. “Please, move in with me. I can't spend that long away from you ever again.” 

“You see me almost every day when you're not working.” 

He shrugs, smiles. “It's not enough.” 

You sit on the couch. He leans over his box to hold your leg. Spencer's asked you a bunch of times, first because he worried about your safety, then because he felt it was a good option as his friend, and then again because he loved you. And you always said no because you didn't want to depend on him, and because some nagging voice in the back of your mind kept telling you he'd realise he didn't want you as soon as you got close enough. But it's been a long time since you thought that way, and his stint in prison emphasised how badly you need each other. 

“So, it'll be equal?” you ask in answer. 

“I'm not saying that. The rent is ridiculous, and you didn't sign up for that, and I have no idea where we'll put all your clothes. But it'll be half yours, absolutely.” He looks especially happy though apprehensive; he hasn't realised you don't need convincing this time.

“I want to bring my pink lamp for the bedroom.”

Spencer's smile changes his entire face. Puppy dog eyes turn thinner, his lips part, his perfect teeth like pearls. “I want you to bring the pink lamp. Bring everything. No one will ever understand our decor.” 

You sink down on the floor in front of him and nudge aside his box for a hug. He gives it to you, and, in a slightly uncharacteristic move for him, he cuts the embrace short to kiss you soundly, his hand on your cheek. He kisses you again and again until you're laughing into his mouth. 

“Does this mean you'll let me propose?” he asks softly. 

Your breath catches. He doesn't sound particularly put together himself, bringing his second hand to your face, holding your forehead to this. 

“I don't think it's something I have much choice in,” you say eventually, your smile audible and immovable. 

You get to say yes or no, but his wanting to ask is all on him. He's flustered you unexpectedly, and the quiet laugh coming from what feels to be the deepest recess of his chest tips you over. You dip down into his neck slowly, hiding away in the curve of his shoulder as his arms come heavy behind you. 

“All I could think was how much stuff I didn't get to say to you, or do with you,” he says. “If they couldn't clear my name, I kept thinking about how much time I wouldn't get back.” 

You breathe out in a rush against his neck. “But you're out.” 

“Yeah. I am.” He strokes your back. “Lucky me.”

Michael sat rested on the couch of your living room. Letting himself sink into the soft cushion. This day was particularly satisfactory by far... Except for one thing.

You were ignoring him. You've stayed in your room with food and a bunch of other stuff saying you were on your period, you've explained to him before and stuff. But that didn't give you the right to ignore him. What did he even do anyway?

Deciding thinking about why his s/o's mad at him on their period isn't his thing, he shuts his eyes and prepares to pass out.

The silence and the comfy atmosphere. Not too hot not too cold, slightly slouching to his side now that the drowsiness is getting to him. Until he hears the door open ,your door open. he quickly sits straight waiting for your figure to come into the living room.

Are you mad at him right now? Are you going to yell at him? Did he forget to do something?

He sees you enter the room and make eye contact with him for a few seconds, waiting for you to do Or say something. He becomes a bit alert when you start walking towards him, you don't seem to have a bit of aggression in your manner and you just seem... Tired.

Next thing he knows you're on top of him with your hands around his body. Sighing loudly you don't do anything and he starts hearing you softly snore.

Maybe just these few times you can physically get this close to him. He takes a few breaths before his eyelids start feeling heavy again and he starts to feel less and less energetic.

Subconsciously he puts his hand on your back as the two of you slumber into a deep sleep together.

Sinclair brothers

Bo's not really the best in verbal comfort but he sure is one hell of a good physical one. He sat on the couch reading a newspaper after a long day of being mean. Having a cup of coffee on the small table next to the couch you kinda wanted to laugh. Your overly aggressive boyfriend sitting so quietly and almost innocently on the couch on a Thursday morning is really a contradiction to his usual behaviour. But the inner exhaustion is making you dramatic. Walking over to him he notices you. "What?" He questioned, not a single sound of roughness in them. Hmm, maybe he really was in a good mood today. Taking this as your sign you grab his newspaper and then fall on him dramatically, not forgetting to hug him as you do so. Sighing as you feel the warmth of his body seeping into yours. "What do you think you're doing?" He asks a bit annoyed and a bit more confused. You place the paper on the arm rest on the couch and just continue to rest on him. Bo stays quiet for moments before he wraps his arms around your waist. "Well you could've just told me if you wanted a hug." He chuckles a bit. Let's just hope this isn't cut short.

Vincent Although can't really talk or comfort you verbally, is willing to do anything for you. Acts of service, physical touch, gift giving... Anything. Especially since you're on this painful and tiring process called "a period" He's on his bed reading a book he got from a traveller. Flipping through the pages he hears steps coming towards his room. He memorised your footsteps by now and closed his book but kept his fingers in between where he was reading. He saw you in his sight and tilted his head as to say "is there something you need?". You smiled a bit and went towards him and your body went softly crashing into his. Tightly hugging around his neck and you sigh because honestly hugging him was the most comforting thing ever. Vincent's a bit startled but rubs your back as he realises you're just tired. He kisses the top of your head through his wax mask and he starts blushing and grins when you turn to him and his cheek. He couldn't help but fall for this side of you every single time.

Lester was the best at any kind of affection. So anytime you felt the bit of sadness you immediately went to him. Today or during the cycle was no exception, trotting over to find your lovely dearest boyfriend you needed someone to lay all your love on right now. You finally saw him, Lester who was dropping by for a few days to accompany his brothers was on a couch with Vincent, it seemed they were silently discussing something. Probably they broke the wooden floor and were planning on how to tell Bo without angering him. (Impossible) besides all that, you just wanted to feel your lover's warmth around yours. Lester who noticed you after Vincent did, immediately lights up with a goofy smile. "Hey baby! How are you doing?" You instantly knew he was referring to your cycle, you gave a small smile on your tired face. You walked over to him with your arms extended and fell on him. "Woah!" He relaxes after a few seconds. He strokes your hair as you lay quietly on him. (Vincent third wheeled his way out of the room.)

Jason

It were a particularly quiet and peaceful few days camp crystal Lake. Which was a very good thing which meant a longer spending time with your undead boyfriend.

Especially since being on the flow meant more emotional draining. And although your boyfriend wasn't the warmest in body heat, he definitely was the warmest in showing you his love.

He was on a bed just resting because he didn't really have anything else to do. He didn't wanna bother you since you said you were on your period and didn't wanna risk you getting mad at him. (He would be extremely sulky.)

In his train of thoughts he hears footsteps creaking and immediately gets up, did a trespasser come into the cabins without him knowing? He grabs his machete that was on the ground and prepares for any sort of unfamiliar faces, he sees your face and sighs. He drops his machete as he realises he almost hit you with it.

You see him and stare at him for a few moments. He tilts his head and you start walking over to him and jump on him with your arms around his body.

He presses his mask against your head as you sigh. He couldn't express how much he loves you if he were honest. He strokes your head as he thinks so.

Billy n stu

You knew who to go to when you needed some physical affection. Having two people around you was more than enough.

You couldn't bother telling them about the problems and pains of your period since they're both lowkey air heads.. Just one of them is a bit smarter but definitely more sassy with a shit more attitude.

You slowly made your steps over to where you heard bickering, you saw the two of your boyfriends who you could see were talking about a horror movie most likely. You lazily walk to them, damn. They still don't notice you yet.

You decide to just fuck it and throw your body to where they were and Billy made a surprise grunting noise as Stu just yelped.

"Jesus! You fucking scared the shit out of us Y/n!" Billy exclaimed. Stu made a small "yeah!"

You just sighed tiredly. You wrapped your arms around both of them. "Well, we were just about to watch a movie. Wanna join us?" You just nodded as you felt them adjust themselves around your grip.

You relaxed after you felt Stu hug you tightly as Billy started going through the tapes with his legs around yours.

You were starting to relax until they started bickering again. Damn they couldn't shut up could they?

Thoughts on book 6 while it's still fresh in my mind because that was a lot :')

The whole story in general is great to me tbh It's one of the rare visual novel format games where I actually take the time to read the main story but book 6 felt very special for many reasons

I think it's since everyone in the teams (minus the fools that came to get grim and bring Vil his cosmetics) Has overblotted already and they know how it is, they were already more or less in the process of working on themselves and somehow kept on thinking things through during the long descent into tartarus. In every book there's a sense of urgency during the overblot phase, and there too but it takes them so much time to actually reach down and realize what's has been happening for the last 4 to 5 hours that they had time to experience conflict and bonding. I did every single battle in every hangar to read all these little interactions, the bickering, kicks and compliments.

It was exhausting in the best possible way.

Making a bullet list of what struck me from this point because I have trouble explaining things clearly especially when there is a lot of things :')

Battles : so many, poorly rewarded in gems but great reward in interactions actually

Ost : 10/10 will remember, I love synthetizer sounds and Ignihyde/book 6 did not disappoint

Jamil mumbling the whole time trying to have a strategy against the phantoms while Leona casually keeps ripping into him (and firing spells at him because he's in the way, cats are assholes so this checks out/pos)

Riddle and Azul both wanting to be right in their explanations everyone yaps and no one listens

Pomefiore was vibing though and I loved that for them

Jamil you had 3 hours you could've slept it doesnt take that long to gather supplies for two please sleep

So uh...? Did the phantoms lure Ortho to merge with them or was there and Actual part of late Ortho down there....? Either way, eerie, I like that

Robots getting a heart/soul is one of my favorite themes ever I am so happy for the little guy

Also Ortho has the same seiyuu as Mikaze Ai from utapri who is a singing robot i am going insane about that (and he sings the op song for kono oto tomare but that's unrelated) Love that seiyuu

Sobbing for Idia because he must've felt really done with everything and desperate to be able to actually Overblot (Au bord du gouffre, et au fond du trou as I'd say in french idk how to explain this)

Please Idia share things, it's scary to think about it but it's actually not that bad and sharing your interests feels great, you already do that in a way at the board games club, continue this way

Vil was the MVP throughout the whole book honestly beautiful in every way hearing him genuinely cry and then laugh in such a short span of time threw me off positively

Mickey apparitions feel so off everytime it pulls me out of the immersion in the story because it's so goofy (it's like hearing donald duck take damage in Kingdom hearts battles I can't take it seriously it's too funny)

That's about it ! And I'm probably forgetting a bunch of other details right now but I loved book 6 despite my complaining posts :") I have trouble knowing how I feel in general/processing my own feelings and put words onto them but I like stories like this because it helps with that ?? I really feel happy and sad and other things, and realize it the moment I feel it ?? Once again I don't really know how to explain it but it's a positive experience.

Though I tend to level up cards based on their looks and favorites rather than how useful they are :)) I have no idea if there's a single healer in there I'll check it out later.

But for now I will harrass Sam until I get at least one ssr perfume in his lootboxes so I can uncap savanaclaw Rook once more and have him forever locked up in the guest room with Rollo, the closest thing to croissant de lune I'll have in game hhhjgfje

Mainly the Kane and Jim series, it’s fucking phenomenal (sorry for alternating curse usage I’m inconsistent), one of the first series I got into, absolutely impeccable storyline. The prequel is great set up, the Jim arc makes me want to ram a silver sword up Kane’s ass, the Kane arc made me feel sorry for them (especially after knowing all of dudes history and lack of persuasion. The whump parts were gooooood though), and the current arc makes me feel warm and fuzzy and gave me inspo for my own storylines. All in all, great shit and can’t wait to see how the next arcs eventually unfold

Little ninja fans of present day and past, I began watching RC9GN in December of 2012, and it changed my life forever, now it's 2024 and I'm nearing 30, time sure flies! Anyways I've been working on cleaning out my computer files and found a bunch and I mean A BUNCH of Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja promotional material and side content. I pretty much have most things that came out from 2012 - 2015 pertaining to the show.

I imagine a lot of these things have been lost to time as some of it was originally posted was from the DisneyXD website, and variations of the DisneyXD website (meaning from other countries). I have interviews, bumpers, dubs of episodes, even footage of some of the old RC9GN games, and Randy cameos (I saved footage of someone playing the RC9GN Poptropica promo!)

I also have a clip from WSFA where they reported on the fan that wrote Rachel's song. I had thought it was posted to youtube but I can't find it again so maybe they removed it, it's not on the article that's still up either! Guess it's good I saved it. (The article isn't entirely accurate, I believe she said she got the internship because of her song)

I also have a few clips of other dubs, including an Italian dub of the song and music video "GO NINJA GO," that's pretty cool! I also found audio files of the raw music from the show! I can't even remember how I got that. (they are unfortunately not named)

I have some less quality stuff like literally me just recording promos and bumpers off of the TV screen lol. Some of these also include snips of other Disney XD bumpers and promos though.

Anyways, I don't want this stuff kept all to my self as I see a lot of it is lost to time, if not hard to find. And oh look at that looks like I have a handy little sideblog I never used that's perfect for this! @theninjanomicon (I'll pretty it up later), so over time I'll probably share some of it on there.

Younger me was unfortunately not very thorough in the archiving, so some titles, dates, names, and exactly where I got them from, are missing, but I can give a rough time frame and where I got these from that I can remember. (another reason why I'm doing it! to mark down what I can remember before I forget anymore of it)

I wouldn't be uploading any full episodes for obvious reasons but might upload clips of some of the alternate dubs I have. And yes I have the pilot, which I can't share either but I do have STORYBOARDS from the pilot (which up until this year was our only reference for this "kim possible style" it used to have) which maybe I can share as I got it from the storyboarder's portfolio which was public back when I got it.

I might add some commentaries under a readmore for certain posts to give extra contexts/what I remember being relevant to the piece I post.

Fellas, year is almost overrrr and it feels kinda surreal what I went through to reach this point.

I may feel nauseous rn but...! Today was a good day, my friends family and other relatives of her came today. I showed them my budgie too, he may be getting blind but people were able to hold him on their hands.

I haven't felt such joy in a while, I don't know how to put it. I remember the first years when I stayed at my friend's place around Christmas or so. It was fun but I was still dealing with other stuff that stressed me out. Especially last december was extremely stressful for me.. I mentioned it in another post? I think?

I unpacked some presents I got today. There was one special present in it, where I still can't believe of owning it.

!!! SWTD themed Christmas Jumper! Like?? Wow!! Still bewildered that one got sent to me, I mean this game is so much fun and I'm so darn obsessed analysing every detail of it whenever I can.

I literally played through it again on my PlayStation, I usually don't play such games multiple times but this one? It just hit me the moment I saw a Let's play of it. The first one I saw was from IGP, I really enjoyed him playing it, even tho Rennick JUMPSCARED me the first time I saw that scene.

First few times playing this game I got nightmares from Gibbo or my heart was racing while I ran away from Rennick. I don't know why, Gibbo's sentences haunted me so much. The pain in his voice was unbearable. (Same with O'Conner)

Trots still gives me the creeps, like he just has that aura on him. However, jumping over Trots is also very funny. And Muir's level I can now play in my sleep. I think 1/3 of my hours shown on steam is just me messing with Muir. It's currently at 154 hours played.

And Roper... my beloved *shakes my fists* poor wee man. He did nothing wrooonggggg. Sobs loudly. Foaming at the mouth and hoping there is more lore of him in the artbook. The wait will soon be over. I'm so excited.

But... I just wanna say thank you again to the devs and publishers for this awesome game. It very much helped me be able to get through the day for months. Considering it came out when I was still in a bad work environment, constantly getting bullied. I kept rewatching Playthroughs to stay calm.

I think I related to Caz a lot too, even if everything was basically falling apart around him, he kept going. Ofc he sadly couldn't get a happy ending in the end. But I just try to remember to keep going. Even if I needed to endure my old job for a bit longer, until my new job started.

It bring me so much joy being able to learn more about the gaming industry and the programs used to make such games. And ofc datamining the game and looking at every little detail. May it be the smallest thing such as a file called "CazYeet" or finding an entire unused level that was scrapped. Or even Muir's hit by prop sounds! My eyes WIDENED when I heard them.

I sometimes check artstation on multiple occasions, just to see if something new popped up. And whenever it does, I do a little mental happy dance.

(Petition to make an april fools update where the hit by prop sounds are enabled/JOKE)

Maybe one day I can finally switch over to the entertainment industry, but I need to teach myself so much first. I still wanna go to art school so badlyyyyy. I can already see I won't feel ready enough until I'm 30 or so. Although I'm going to be 23 in 2 days- I still have to practice so many skillsets ajshajsjaksnaksnksks *explodes* but I shall avoid spiralling in my thoughts.

I think I appreciate games so much more now, I still want to try out a bunch of them. But I firstly have to work on some swtd related projects. I'm definitely planning on making a big analysis video next year, which sounds terrifying, I need to practice talking in recordings first. ;a; But I can't forget to visit events too, I need to try out so much stuff;;;;

Um. Obviously, Charlie is the most changed from her canon design, I relaly like her hooves and others redesigns of her looking more liek a goat

Originally, I was just gonna add gaot ears and stuff, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of her having fur soooo tadaaaaa~

I gave her a little red stripe between her eyes and fade on her legs and ears to match Razzle and dazzle, and since lucifer was a high angle a seraphm/archangels hoenstly I dotn see a difference. I gave her some white freckles as well to sorta, show that connection

Also, toe beans! If she has claws, she can have beans, I think that Emily would have a normal human hand while vaggie would have little soft spikes on her like moths do, tho that's not shown

I also drew charlies wings cause it's cnaon she has them, and I wanted to play around with the demon/angle wing/s she could have, my irl friend K helped me decide which one to choose

I also drew her leg so you can see the fade in full. Side note that her belly has the same cherry red fur

I also added some chest fluff because why not?

As for her horns, I kept them the same color but added rings like Lilith has to show a connection between them. She also has her mom's eyes and heart tail point. I wanted her to have some demon stuff out just cause, she is a demon, she should......also realizing just how long I made her tail-

Uhhh, oh, right, side note, which I'll have to make a separate post about, Lucifer/eve/lilith are all dating each other, and Chalrie is all 3s kid. Eve is where she got the goat aspect from, inckuding horn shape, her scaly tail, snake fangs, red cheeks and color scheme over all are from dad, and Lilith is where she got her eyes and horn rings and heart point from, and beans to I guess

Maybe I should make a gene sheet one day; I gave her Jean shorts, like how I usually wear just cause I didn't want to add too much red or black

Vaggie is the least changed. The most I really change about her is how her wings look. Her hand snow has soft spikes like moths do, and her hair

I do think when she fell, she got more demon aspects, but since her wings were torn off, she doesn't have to many physically other than fangs and the spikes

I also made her hair shorter because please, nobody has their hair that long!! or if they do, then I've never seen them!

So me and two of my friends have started a Gaming Culture Exchange. It’s where we give one game that means a lot to us, or embodies us as a person for the other two to play. I, of course- picked Kingdom Hearts.

It took a bit of thought to whittle it down, but in the end, I chose to get my friends to play KHII.  Because 1) it’s a fan favourite, 2) It has MUCH better combat and fluidity of controls than KHI, and 3) While yeah- you should play KHII and CoM, you can still glean the story; which is what I wanted them to play for. And if they don't understand anything- I'm here.

We meet up every Saturday night, and they play for 2-3 hours whilst I watch and act as a guide/tip-giver.

I wanted to document their experiences because they’re (mostly) fresh eyes in ‘24. This took so long to do because I kept forgetting to ask their permission to do this. How long? When we devised this, the KH series was announced that it was coming to steam during the VC call. I kind of laughed at the irony.

For now, let me introduce you to my friends! I’m not using any of their real names/what I call them due to identity.

Isopod: She/They: We get along really well and often watch shows together, play games or hang out. They’re more of a slow-paced gamer, liking farming sims and the less action-heavy Minecraft parts, but overall she loves genetic sims/ family tree games (wobbledogs, niece etc…). She’s seen little bits of KH, but doesn’t know a whole bunch. Their game for this exchange is Rainworld.

Dog: He/Him: We’re good friends that can get on each other's nerves and argue over pedantic stuff. He likes grimdark things and was the one who introduced me to Berserk. We, along with Isopod, watched Dungeon Meshi together, and I got him to watch Demon Slayer, which he’s enjoying. He actively dislikes/is uninterested in KH, not liking the style clash. His game for this exchange is Eldenring.

Due to the lag with getting permissions, each new entry will be each day until I've caught up, then every Sunday. Each day will be a reblog of this post with a Keep reading spoiler tag so that it doesn't clutter, but can be read in order.

Now that the stage is set, the journey starts below;

The game starts, and we jam out to Sanctuary. Isopod already kind of remembers who Roxas is and why he's here, but Dog doesn't- instead, he comments on the 'Gaming Rig' Roxas has got set up (the weird contraption with the light up star in his room) while Isopod laments that they'll never own a lamp as cool as his fish one.

'oh no, our ___ are gone!' "Your WHAT" -Dog

"I thought my audio glitched for a second" -Isopod

We then have to wait because Dog needed to eat dinner because his timing with that is impeccable, let me tell you. This let Isopod explore a bit and examine Roxas' outfit- which she concludes is a 'disaster'(lovingly).

It's then noted that Isopod is playing with Keyboard and mouse, and I m horrified. Dog is playing with an X-box controller and I lovingly refer to him as a heathen.

When Dog came back, the tutorial was completed, but I noticed that Dog... never really read the text. "I read it when Isopod has it up on her stream" he says. This'll bean important fact later.

During the Siefer fight, Isopod picks magic and Dog picks defence.

"woah whatda-" "Demon! actual demon!" Isopod and Dog during their first sighting of a Dusk. Quickly followed up with Isopod saying "why's he got cheeks though???"

The Dusk fight was quickly finished, and they both liked the reaction command (important for later).

"Why are they not calling for an adult. This (strange man) had pictures of children. That's VERY concerning" -Isopod "Yeah, the adults in this aren't very reliable" -Me, all knowing.

"COUNT DOOKU WHAT'RE YOU DOING HERE?!" -Dog upon hearing DiZ.

I then let the two do a few chores for munny. Dog does the Cargo Climb, and Isopod the Mail Delivery.

After a short while, I could hear them bemoan doing the same thing over and over; then I say 'yeah- you don't have to collect the full amount, you can go now', which fills the conversation with relief.

"Oh my god Roxas is hallucinating now" - Isopod "I think his friends are gaslighting him" -Dog upon the Pickpocket scene.

The Namine scenes had some interesting reactions:

"Why is there a GIRL braking into his room?!" -Isopod "Puberty is sometimes like that" -Dog

"That is a note an adult leaves when they want to kidnap children." -Dog upon reading Hayner's note "Yeah, I wouldn't trust it" -Isopod. "is she a Jojo???" -Isopod Dog then imitates Dio -during Namine's meeting with Roxas where she freezes time.

Then, in the Dive to the Heart, Isopod picks Attack, and Dog picks Defence. Isopod is able to beat Twilight Thorn straight away, but Dog takes two attempts.

The Fourth day is where everything fell apart. The tournament was easy, and neither struggled against Hayner or Vivi. Then came along Axel.

Isopod beat Axel fairly quickly. I thought they'd struggle, but they didn't. Dog, however struggled. I noticed that when he attacked Axel after parrying or blocking, Axel would retaliate- I told him what I saw, but Dog complained 'I can't attack him otherwise'. It took Dog going from Crit to Proud to beat Axel. "Wow Golden, you're cruel to put a new player on the hardest difficulty" you say, and you would be right, but Dog typically loves very hard games, and boasts that it took him 8 solid hours to beat a boss in Eldren Ring and that 'it was awesome', so I suggested Crit to him.

When Axel was beaten, Dog was VERY tired of Kingdom Hearts, and actively tried his best to dislike it, talking bad about the combat and how 'you're locked into an action'. Isopod did not share this, and was enjoying her time. I could tell that Dog wanted this done, but I urged them forward because they were nearing the finale of the prologue.

They did the wonders, made fun of Roxas' friends gaslighting him into thinking he didn't fall off the clocktower, and they both beat Axel fairly easily second go around. They then made fun of Sora's shoes for 5 minutes straight, and ended the session.

It was fun seeing people's first reactions to KHII. Dog's reaction was nothing new to me, as I knew this wouldn't be his favourite, and is only playing so me and Isopod play Eldenring. I'm hoping in the future, he'll warm up to it. Isopod is enjoying her time with the game, which is good to hear.

am I the only one who thinks that Yui/MC is just a stand in for the player? like, her personality is tame and vanilla, enough so that anyone willing could fit into her position quite easily. Not forgetting to mention you can change the MC's name in the games, and she has no voice in the games. And because that there is no canon ship in otome games in general, because who the MC ends up with depends on who the player wants her/themselves to be with (in Ayato's case, it's only that he's like the standard, the poster boy). So, ever since it came out, I've been in the fandom: I've played all the games, read the manga, interviews, and everything, and especially the drama CDs (which make you feel as if they're talking to *you*), and I came to this conclusion. So you learn particular things of the MC/Yui, for example, her preferences that shape her as an independent character, e.g., having her own quotes, her merch, but still, she just gives me that impression. *This is why I also find Yui-bashing to be ridiculous; after all, her character is basically built to be subdued, so the players can fit in her shoes*— is what I think. Thank you for listening. I really do want your (non biased) thoughts, for this has been bothering me for quite a while, :)

Yui is a 2012 heroine, therefore it makes sense why she doesn’t have as much uniqueness or personality as newer ones. Nevertheless, I would like to point out that a bunch of Japanese players DON’T actually relate to her that much. They mostly like her because she’s cute and dumb, and they find that entertaining.

On the other hand, there are a lot of avid otoge players who find her too “stupid and mean” for a heroine. I agree with the stupid part, but despite her moments of random bitchiness, I don’t find her as bad as they say. Yet, maybe they played more otome games than me, so their expectations are higher.

I wouldn’t really call her tame or vanilla though. She’s also one of the thirstiest heroines imo, given that she keeps thinking about wanting more sex even after doing it a few hours ago and so on. There’s also an ending in which she cheats for pleasure and then starts being happy when getting railed as a punishment, therefore she might seem innocent, but there are a lot of kinky things going on inside her head. :”)

Other than that, I agree that she appears as a quite plain character, but it can’t be helped, since the LI’s are the ones made to stand out more through their writing in otome games. To me she’s fun, but she might come off as not flashed out to others, which is to be expected from a heroine.

I also agree with you when it comes to the CD dramas and interviews talking about the player, instead of Yui as a whole, because those are supposed to be the most “yume” materials. Rejet confirmed Ayato as the mainstay of the story in some books and magazines, which means that in the official universe, he ends up with Yui, but this doesn’t mean people can’t ship themselves with him or can’t replace Yui with themselves. My friend has an OC and she used to post screenshots of some routes, yet a lot of people kept asking her stuff such as: “Do you hate Yui?” or “Why do you never talk about Yui?” only because the sprite was turned off and the name was changed.

People should let others go through their own otoge experience. After all, otome games were produced like that for a reason. If you want to play as the heroine, that’s good and valid! If you want to play as yourself or your OC, that’s just as good and valid!

Oh, one of your bros is on it… Phew!")) this job is also the reason goth teensy went to a fairly prestigious magic school (alongside ales who dropped out). goth teensy did get through it but he hated it. and of course kept forgetting about the Potions That Make Your Brain Function another note is that goth teensy does have a real name that turns out is just really embarassing. and he keeps literally just forgetting it. at this point goth teensy IS also his actual real name, to him (which originated from what the other kids in school tended to call him)

and another one. so the specifics of uglettes mean family is that theyre actually mostly a bunch of snobs. they invite teensy royalty to fancy dinners and scrutinize uglette, and the other family members, for not being all perfectly proper and etiquette and stuff. some of the kids go against the mold of being all nice and presentable and no fun allowed, but instead were just mean, and two of those (uglettes older siblings) actually named uglette that. purely because they thought itd be funny. well at least its better than them naming her poor other sibling Buttface. whos since eventually picked out a new better name for themself and ditched the place anyway uglette was mostly babysat by normal older siblings who didnt scrutinize everything but also werent mean, but she still ended up growing with self confidence issues that she never really grew out from. thankfully her hubby has enough confidence in her (and also himself) to make up for it

now for other characters.......

joe - not from the glade, not from earth, brings earth culture to the glade anyways. his bar diner thing has such mysterious delicacies as "Ham Sandwich" and "Hot Dog". most glade people cant understand what hes saying or what the mysterious writing on his sign is, the truth is he literally just prefers to speak in english (he can speak wandaye but just doesnt prefer it). inexplicably his english accent is like, native level (i came up with this literally a few days ago as of publishing this post in the middle of january; he also has a kind of doofy nasally voice per what he seems to sound like in r1 dos, which just kinda sounds like tarayzan in the same version) murfy can understand him though. and magicians cousin andrew (who also brought over earth culture to the glade except it england culture specifically). rayman also can somewhat

also tangent. murfy has been on earth several times he goes there for vacations (via portal). his engilsh also doesnt even have a wandaye accent. by this i mean he has Literally The Rayman 3 Voice, Like Voiced By Billy West In The Game Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc and rayman has been on earth too, mostly to chase the rabbids, then he kind of got stuck there for a bit. he felt like he got stuck there for a long time, finally managed to come back, turns out on the glade this was like a few hours. and like, he comes back just when globox and uglette finish rescuing all of their children from the rabbids (by beating all the rabbids there) and they go "oh hey youre back from your grocery trip" and immediately ban rayman from babysitting because the one time hes babysitting alone (without uglette, or globu or anyone) the rabbids show up and kidnap people. yes the implication is that globu would have stopped them.

actually i didnt cover him?? globu: hes one of globoxs numerous siblings, so also a red wizard. at baby years old he was remarkable for being bald (like globox), but also that hes colored kind of weird, kind of brownish and greenish. then globox surpassed him in being colored weird. anyway globu as a kid was much more well behaved than globox, and not nearly as much of a Silly Man, but still ended up moving into globoxs village eventually instead of living with the other red wizards cuz he still fit in better with globox. nowadays he babysits his numerous nephews and nieces. he tries to avoid ever getting into any trouble (and somehow succeeds), refuses to participate in any adventures, and hes happy enough with that RUMOR (in universe): globox and globu have similar names because they include some ancient wandaye word referring to being BALD?

begoniax: i hate her canon lore so im tossing that into the stratosphere. MY canon is that she was working on a beauty potion for herself, but it kept failing and failing and failing and just making her look worse until she went frankly nuts, and now all she wants to do is kill anyone who slightly inconveniences her. or turn them into toads (with the "beauty potion") only so theyd be easier to stomp into a little puddle. no gross lore implications or gross dialogue shes just bananas and hates everyone in sight

oh and razoff. united with begoniax in wanting everyone who wanders too close dead (but for trophy hunting reasons instead). he wants to hunt down anyone who winds up on the territory of his ginormous mansion in the middle of a swamp where he lives alone with some rats that feed on all of his spare vegetables. his rich parents moved here from aeropolis and he inherited the mansion just to act like a total pathetic loser in it he IS a decently good hunter, but most of his trophies are fake and he just ordered some other people to carve them out of wood. the statue with two ssssams was quite expensive (ssssam himself is still alive but he was wandering by once and did very nearly get shot)

golden teensy, i talked about that one before under a drawing post. He Remembers Everything thanks to the power of already having a really good memory + just the incredible magic skills. which allow him to glow and remember everything and not much else. i dont think he would be skilled at combat or anything hes just spending it all on being a walking lightbulb for some reason. and having a forever super photographic memory. he keeps having to explain to goth teensy why he cant help with his situation

tarayzan: basically raymans cousin, with inexplicably the exact same hairstyle (color aside) as him. he was accidentally created by holly (music nymph) (who is, remember, a literal bird in my hc lore) while she was trying to pull off some other big magic thing. he immediately ran off closer to betilla's area, and she tried to raise him too to little avail. hes now kind of feral and lives in the jungle and wears 1 caveman piece of clothing and jumps really really high, hes surprisingly nice though he just has no knowledge of manners or how to be normal really. it took everyone too long to realise his mom was a bird. since hes in the jungle he gets fleas but he just eats them

gumsi: his dad, who was the king of the knaaren, super abruptly died and the only heir was his little baby. who was just given the role of the king anyway for some bizarre reason instead of having an adult take the reigns for a while. little baby king gumsi seems okay with this though, he just yells at the grown ups and throws tantrums when hes not given his very specially prepared idk rat soup or something idk what knaaren eat besides brains. his reaction to learning reflux super died was something along the lines of WELL OK SO DID MY DAD

green teensy (the one thats playable): he is BEYOND sick of minimus (the main one from ubiart) commanding him to do random nonsense. green teensy is not even like some random average guy, hes forced to be in whatever castle minimus picked for himself again and sweep all the floors and order him pizza and whatever. green teensy just really really really wants to steal that crown for himself, never actually succeeds so hes stuck there filled with resent

globette: no relation to globox (sort of related to uglette though. but even the built in Relatives Sense didnt help globox with knowing that), nobody knows who she is, she just kinda showed up one day when everyone was doing these tournaments and like. she looks cute and nice on the surface, acts like it sometimes, but actually freaks people out. she acts weird (like this). she barely talks (sounds the same as tily inexplicably). shes best friends with dark globox, somehow. globette is not her actual name she just got this nickname for the same reason as dark globox, she refuses to tell people her actual name for some reason

lividstones, also as a group not like one character necessarily. theyre what happens if a human gets pressured by the nightmares to start bullying people for fun, and stop ever bathing, and just overall align with nightmares, which inexplicably morphs them into weird green waluigis. sometimes they change their mind on their behavior but even if theyre nice they remain as weird green waluigis. thats what the nightmares do to you i guess

reinterpreting the other doctors. romeo is fine so hes kept as is otto gets to exist with some reinterpretations and hes basically just this guy from high anxiety. just uses various inventions and doohickeys on you

also otto is freakishly upright for a teensy especially of his height (barely shorter than romeo who DID get hit with forever back pain). hes the only one of the three doctors that gets any actual results (romeos entire methods is just "dude.... have you like tried this plant") but he scares everyone and every sylkin in the area refuses to go anywhere near his office and would rather receive medical treatment elsewhere

the third one is getting destroyed and completely reinterpreted no more racist teensy. so hes just, no specific nationality, hes annoyingly polite and cosntantly floats, his entire method of healing you is based on magic and various rituals that somehow manages to be complete bunk even in a world where magic is everywhere forever. hes like one of these middle aged women that unconditionally buys into healing crystals, even here in the glade those scams exist somehow. he doesnt practice normal healing magic or healing potions he just goes by with fake healing rituals that dont actually do anything also nobody ever even learned his name. romeos like "dude you, like, never even told us your name" "I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, but I simply do not consider my name a piece of information that is important to share with people, as I believe my job title is enough." "dude i thought we were, like, friends"

quick rundown on the story uhhh Venice is sorta the mc he grew up in an assasin/gang setting and eventually ran away and kept getting tangled up and couldnt leave that lifestyle behind and took up being a hitman but eventually found kanai (who was close to being in the same situation) so he took her in and raised her as a daughter and made a proper life for himself and everything until. one day. his past caught up to him. and he found her body in the snow on train tracks.

but it was faked and was used to get him back in the game but he continued to work as a paid hit man (one of his main things was actually kinda seducing people then getting info or killing them) and he eventually met minte. and they. toxic yaoi. minte was also a paid killer but he also rlly likes music and yaya and one day venice just. well. venice was paid to kill minte and minte said "we'll run away together" and venice said okay but. he ended up betraying that and instead shot him (agaaain in a snowy setting) but he didnt kill him.

fast forward some years later venice gets called in to work for an org. trying to get info on some weird other organization that is suspected of taking people into experiemnt on them. a group of ppl are called in. GUESS WHO ELSE. minte. he is immeditaley like "ohoho look who it is~ little prick venice awwww look at thatttt~" and venice wants to either kill himself or minte. anyways.

not fully fleshed out but on the other side: kanai is not dead. she is part of that same organization venice is workin on taking down. at first venice believed they stole her memories or wtv. but. they didnt. im not sure whyyy exactly kanai stayed by her own will but it was smthn like. fate is fate. it was never gonna last. stuffs like that.

then theres naiya. Moth girl as I call her. She loves moths (cuz i do) and her design is based off the cecropia moth.....(my favorite.....) well. she cant remember where she came from but she calls the "enemy" org. her home. She's prolly an experiment????. not fully fleshed out but it makes sense plus it plays into her whole "not feeling human, not feeling natural, feeling abnormal" play. or also "i am not a butterfly like all other living beings, I am not gazed upon with awe. I am disregarded with digust, associated with the emptiness of life". like a moth. shes eccentric, lil crazy, and loyal not to her home, but to the orders given to her. She gets attached easily..and when kanai comes in when theyre both kids..she gets attached. very. very much attached. yeah you know what that means

Whole lotta text below about my drawings and myself. Reading is free if you want :)

Whew, the last few months have been truly something, specially for my artistic skills. Pixel art was my first approach to color in drawing, my first public posts were also pixel art; it has an aesthetic I quite like, very charming and easy to understand (not as easy to produce!). I'm going on a hiatus to practice digital art now that I got my hands on a drawing tablet, I don't know how long it will take for me to be confident enough about my drawings with it to post them, but I don't think it's gonna be very long before I post again. Digital has been my dream even before I knew how to draw, so I'll be dedicating to it from now on (or until the tablet dies or something lol), that said, it's unlikely I will post pixel art again, unlikely, not impossible.

Making this post means more than what I like to acknowledge, posting online was esentially one of my first steps towards "coming out of my emotional bunker" as I like to call it. I still remember how my hands trembled when I first showed one of my doodles drawn on my sketchbook to my sister, I always hoped to be nonchalant about these things but no, that was probably the first time I found out I was an enormous coward, and it was bittersweet at first, it took me a while to accept it. Shame has always been a part of me, so has been fear and doubt; I'm very secretive about anything that has to do with me, with who I am, with what I think and what I feel, and art was a way to put all that crap onto a canvas and, hopefully, understand it better. I still can't, but that's part of the fun. Showing my drawings was, in a way, breaking some of the chains that kept my interior """"safe"""". I'm still weak in many aspects, I'm quick to undermine my progress and beat my own ass for no reason at all, and I don't think that's gonna change any time soon, but showing my art is the perfect painkiller for that.

Even if my posts are just some gurls and occasional criptic nonsense, it's part of me, a very big one actually. My OCs are stupidly important to me, they hold stories that mean a lot more than they seem (I hope), I shaped them, and they shaped me back, that's why I so proudly parade them around... Buuut I'm not a writer so yeah, pain :D. Every media I consumed, every movie I watched, every song I listened to; I can only hope I can properly portray the effects they had on me on my future illustrations.

This is a stating the obvious post but I haven't seen anyone explicitly point it out so why not?

Ben Reilly - a cloned man who was almost broken by the notion of him being less than human, defective, maybe soulless, a cheap copy of a better original - crooked. As Scaret Spider he's been on a journey to define himself and set himself apart from Peter Parker/Spider-Man. So it's only logical for him to have a costume that reflects this. And he wears the Spider, wears it different and proudly but crooked. Fate tried to bend his back and submit to settle for less than what he deserves - the Jackal created him as a slave but he fought for his freedom and eventually suceeded (temporarily...)

Then later on he embraced the revelation that he was actually the original (which turned out not to be true sigh poor boy). What matter is that he got to experience a time in which he didn't feel the need (as much) to prove he deserves the bare minimum like you know - to exist. He was allowed to be proud and unapologetic. An enthusiatic and unrivaled Spider-Man. And more than that he absolutely loved it, it wasn't a burden to him like to Peter, no, it was a privilege. His tragic conception at least gave him the solace to frame his responsibility as a grace - a purpose. Being Spider-Man validated him. And he found balance, an anchor, an inner symmetry. Spider front and center, one of the most balanced and goated suits ever if I dare say so.

Let's not forget he also got the blonde dyed hair makeover and artists began to draw him with a boyish prettyness that was a pretty stark contrast to his former stubbled beard and 90s mullet look that more looks like Kaine does nowadays.

He dies as Spider-Man to save Peter, which is of course very noble, the ultimate sacrifice (not even talking about the insane number of personal sacrifices he enthusiastically shoulders to protect Peter and Mary Jane and everyone else).

But he is brought back. And the new Ben is tortured by his creator Jackal to clinical insanity over and over a bunch of stuff happens and we arrive in the Beyond Era in which Ben (new clone body, same consciousness as the old one - presumably but arguably not really and very very broken inside, much more so than he ever was originally) gets to be Spider-Man once more. And sure enough Beyond fucked with his memories and made him forget lots of the awful stuff he went through. But nearly not all and they also begin deleting some things he'd rather have kept... he is uprooted, decentered, crooked yet again.

The Spider clings to his heart side (how poetic), the last shield of comfort between Beyond and his fragile soul since at least it tells him what he should be, what he should live up to. But he is not the same. He doesn't even know how much he isn't. And maybe he won't ever be again. (sob)

And then we are in the current era. Let's hope the Chasm that was left behind when he lost his formative memories of decency and responsibility will be able to be mended abd turn out to be a chrysalis of sorts. (I actually love the development overall for dramatic reasons but that's another post)

(also my god his mask looks like corpse paint of smudged kajal if you will and I love that for him... love his Maleficient palette twisted wonderland looking ass. Is it me or does this design look Disney in a way? Don't even mean it in a negative way. Making him a sorcerer is so rad actually but alas I'm starting to write that other post let's keep it for later-)

finally watched the Black Clover movie!!

so many thoughts lol, so ofc I had to make a post sorting them all out,, [warning; spoilers to the manga!]

I liked the movie overall but there were some things that just didn't sit with me well. The biggest of which is where the movie fits into canon timeline– it would have suited better at some other point, I think. Maybe it's because I've caught up to the manga but considering everything that's about to happen and everything that has happened before, I feel like the placing is just not the best.

I liked the parallel of Conrad and Asta but the fact that 4 former Wizard Kings all say that the position is not enough to fix Clover Kingdom is a bit 😭 like, that's 4 vastly different people who worked their way up to becoming Wizard Kings. Surely, they know what they're talking about?! I have no clue how Asta can change the country to that extent (but I'm a big supporter of the idea of killing Augustus Kira Clover the first chance we get) but considering the latest arc, I can see the start of it happening in the aftermath of the climax.

I liked all the villains but Mr. Barrier Magic (I forgot his name...) was probably my favourite. I love that bit about how there's no right and wrong, just beliefs. Isn't that what it is a lot of time? A bunch of grey shades, a goal you believe in, and the means you use to get to that goal. But, means can be evaluated as right or wrong. I suppose the fundamental basis of this view is that there is no objective morality. Morality is always subjective and relative to each individual and culture. The philosophy student in me liked that bit~

I also loved the parallel of Princia Funnybunny (I'll never forget that surname 😭 it was so unexpectedly cute) and Mereoleona, especially considering the recent fight of Morris and Mereoleona where she also talked about loneliness. They are both similar but what makes them different is that Mereoleona had Fuegoleon and Leopold (and the rest of the Crimson Lions!). Although the two of them aren't the same level as her, they always believed in her and were by her side and kept pushing themselves against her. I don't think Princia had someone like that, making her lose faith in people– the reason she couldn't draw strength from comrades, unlike Mereoleona.

Honestly, the timeline and main conflict being 4 former Wizard Kings are the only two problems I had. The rest of the movie was amazing imho; the animation was really good and so was the music!

I was surprised to find the ending song was also done by Treasure. I felt like it was a k-pop artist when the song started but I wasn't sure– I didn't know Treasure had done two songs for Black Clover. It was really good too!

Over-all, the movie was a 6/10 for me, but that's just my opinion. I don't know what others felt about it and I don't really know any other fans to discuss this stuff with either so I ended up letting out all my thoughts in this post. This post is not meant as hate towards any character or the movie itself, it's just my perspective!
