there's so many things in tsc that just come at you all at once, so it's hard to focus on just one thing to break down, but the most glaring thing that stood out to me is how hard it is to really put someone back together. especially someone so shattered that it's nigh impossible to glue them back and pray they don't crumble under your ministrations.

if jean is neil's foil, then jeremy is andrew's direct antithesis. whereas andrew is a steady bedrock because he's been broken too many times to know how to weather the storm, jeremy is too soft hands and an even softer soul. he cares and cares and cares. so empathetic and so gentle it almost breaks your heart. you pray for the impossibility that jeremy can survive knowing the truth because if he doesn't, then what hope does jean have? so you pray he can be steady too. that he can weather the storm as well. that he will not break when knowing that just under the surface lies shark-infested waters.

first off. i literally post every day about siblings fucking, so I'm not sure what gave you the impression I'm the kind of person who cares about/tries to avoid "problematic" kinks. but I'll give you some advice anyway:

you have to kill the puritan in your mind. thoughts are not immoral. sexual desire is not immoral, regardless of the target. what matters in this world is what you DO, and if it's a consensual act between adults of sound mind, it's not wrong. some people may not like it - and that's their prerogative. they might be loud about how much they don't like it, but that doesn't mean you're wrong for liking it. it just means you have different tastes

my problem with star wars is that the original movie wasnt all that great but its a fun gimmick of putting a classic save the princess fantasy story into a scifi setting with a few twists... then the franchise exploded and started presenting a big universe full of interesting concepts that are continuously butchered by poor writing choices, weird retcons, and a lackluster execution; ultimately becoming shackled by this asinine need to uphold "one true canon" which is why i think star wars sucks, among other things.

can people agree to acknowledge being hurt by religious experiences without being disrespectful to religious people like come on, there's so many Christians and Muslims suffering in impoverished countries and concentration camps and to villainize and disregard people's suffering existing because you had a bad experience is uncalled for. Not all christians are skinheads waving signs who wish people death and not all muslims are terrorists??? The same goes for other religions but I tend to see it a lot with these, calling them derogatory terms, thats just disrespectful?? Just because one group under this label treat people evil doesnt represent the people as a whole nor does it undermine someones suffering by their hands either. Like being hurt by horrible people is wrong and that crime should be called out. But it's just insane to me people will just not believe christianity is a real persecuted religion outside of the US but everyone seems to think it's a USA exclusive religion full of bigots or something even though there's a severe need with real christians suffering (like palestine, like china, like north korea, and so on)
