Photograph of Inej "Wraith" Ghafa and an unknown individual crossing the rooftops of Ketterdam. Ghafa was infamous due her ties with the Dregs and her association with Kaz "Dirtyhands" Brekker, but would later go on to become one of the most renowned pirate captains known for taking down hundreds of slaver ships and rescuing thousands of kidnapped individuals being trafficked to Kerch under exploitative indenture contracts. Last team in my Lost Records Mariomon team series... skater extraordinaire Autumn Lockhart!!

Since I picture her being a bit more athletic due to her interest in skating, I thought I'd go with a combo of flying and fighting! But Fighting types were kinda hard to assign to her, so I stuck with Flying and Normal, but I went with some slightly more energetic picks! Honestly, in the Mariomon AU she might be more into doing platforming parkour! With a team of Lakitus on standby obviously; safety is important kids! The idea was brought up to have them named after skaters & skating lingo; shout out to @door-insurance for the idea!

Yoshi is her ace & main partner Capture. I totally imagine she might practice Yoshi Riding as well in this AU, and he might even be a parkour partner of hers! His name is Ollie, because Yoshi absolutely has Ollie vibes.

Lakitu feels like a fitting partner for Autumn to have. Not just to have someone to pick her up if she flubs a jump, but also because it looks fairly carefree. Most of my picks will lean towards being more amiable. Named Peggy after the Japanese American skater Peggy Oki.

Amazy Dayzee I picked to fit with her singing gig in her and Nora's band. Also I think she'd like it because it's just cute! I think it could be named Stephanie after Stephanie Person, who was one of the first black female skaters back in the 80s that I think Autumn would definitely look up to.

Paratroopa is another jovial flying type that felt fitting for Autumn. Could be named Caballero after the popular skater Steve Caballero.

Hammer Bro feels like it could be a fighting Capture, but it technically isn't. It's got the spirit though, so close enough. I think it would be named Thrasher.

Fighter Fly is a fight/flying type which felt too perfect for the niche I had in mind. I hesitated because I don't think Autumn would be that drawn to bugs, but I think its cuteness might offset her disdain for creepy crawlies. It was a compromise from its evo, Super Fly, which I def don't think she likes. Anyway, its name would be Burly, fitting for its fighting type. Though that would fit the Super Fly more tbh...

And that's it for the main Bloom & Rage teams! I might cook up some more Mariomon teams in the future, either for a handful of side characters in Lost Records, or for other games like Life is Strange or my own OCs! We'll see where the winds take me!
