For readers of PD-MDZS? its been a long time. How to transition back in a way that's fun?#Let's also get to my main point: Yeah hold on how *did* he die???#Nobody seem to actually know - and usually WWX's inner monologue woud be like 'It actually happened like this'.#But we get *none* of that. Instead the audience is equally an outsider and we just have to draw our own conclusions.#What is rumour and what is lies? I personally do not think any of the presented options are the truth.#We aren't supposed to know! It's okay to let be a mystery! The open interpretation lends itself to some interesting analysis!#WWX is the historical figure that makes people lock forum threads when the topic of 'how he died' comes up -#-because the debates are *that* heated.#I like to image the people who did know him 1) don't press him about what happened and 2) make up incorrect facts on purpose.#Quick - everyone make up a fact about how the Yiling Laozu died.#Mine is: I heard the YLLZ died by trying to drink all the blood out of his blood pool.

God I love the episodes of Leverage that are like “yes Eliot is working class. yes he grew up surrounded by trades people and “menial” labourers. yes he knows so much about those jobs and will ALWAYS support those workers and their job choices.”

Because it’s something that really does set Eliot apart from the other characters. Like, Sophie is all about the finer things in life, and even if she did ever grow up poor or around labourers, she doesn’t exactly respect that life style. She’s all about getting away from that, if she ever was that lower class, which I don’t think she ever really was. Nate is Office Worker tm, just in vibes. That man has never seen a shovel. And while Parker and Hardison both went through the system, they’re both very city centric. And I mean, Parker has never once thought about real jobs or anything, ever. And Hardison definitely has a bit of a thing about age of the geek, and def starts out looking down on “menial” jobs.

But Eliot, throughout the entire show, is very much all about that. The mining episode in particular is such a favourite just because of the respect and care for these workers that Eliot shows. And I really like how different all of the leverage characters are, not just in skills but also in backgrounds, and how those backgrounds affect how they treat people. Eliot comes from a family of workers and a community of workers, and he holds those people in such high respect.

Nothing says personal purgatory more than a playground level situationship between two grown ass adults who are both socially inept in their own ways, both dislike each other on a fundamental level & refuse to stop using each other as means of dissociation.

Both of them wanted to fucking kill themselves after their coping mechanisms stopped working for a whole day. They lowkey both take it out on the other when nothing else is in their control. Jax is an ass obout it and Gangle simultaniously minds alot but also doesn't.
