when making a character, u have to ask urself:

are they bloody?

will they ever be bloody?

is it their blood or somebody elses blood theyre covered in?

why are they bloody?

how drenched in blood are they going to be from a scale of 1-10, with 1 being ''barely drenched'' and 10 being ''so covered we shld ask where there ISNT any blood on them''?

I genuinely love not having a crush like I’m not over here feeling physically sick over some mid guy being dry to me I’m literally chilling

#Spring semester of last year was so bad bc I was unironically into 3 guys at once and they were all #Being dry and cryptic to me #And then before that in 2022 I had my horrid situationship #I had a mini obsession arc in dec 2023 over someone but now there hasn’t been anyone since #And my palette is so cleansed #When a girl is like I miss having a crush I’m like you’re literally a masochist #There was very briefly a girl I thought I had a crush on when I realized I’m bicurious but #I haven’t put effort into talking to her bc the idea of pursuing anyone makes me wanna claw my eyes out #I’m pretty sure I ghosted her by like just not responding to her last messsge actually #Not on purpose but more so bc I realized I was feeling the same anxiety I felt whenever I had a crush so I was like #Yeah I’m dropping this for now #I’m also always the most present for my friends when I don’t have a crush so idk #Like I don’t wanna be consumed by anyone I just wanna chill #The solution to not having normal attraction to people is just to not be attracted to anyone at all #I fr cracked it #I always just crave the butterflies out of it and never an actual relationship anyway #But they’re so not worth it #Which is why I always get bored of guys who’re forthright like oh ok you actually WANT something…. Caitlyn and Vi are truly one of my favorite sapphic romance stories I’ve ever had to the privilege to watch on screen. I’m constantly 🤪 when I think about the amount of story time that was dedicated to them, and the type of story that was told, as that’s not usually what we get with gay romances.

I keep seeing a lot of people dissatisfied/angry/etc with how their story went and it kinda bums me out so I just wanted to use this post to get my thoughts and feelings out (obviously everyone has their own valid opinions and won’t agree with me)

Cait and Vi not being uwu “healthy” 24/7 and their inherent messiness is WHY I find them so compelling. From the moment they met there were already huge factors against them, both indirectly of their control (class struggle, power imbalance) and directly (personality clashes, communication styles). But they somehow grew to love each other anyway.

Caitlyn not saying “I’m sorry” out loud at any point to Vi by the end of the show, I honestly loved it. Because Caitlyn instead apologized with her actions, and Caitlyn’s actions always seem to speak louder than her words. Her letting go of the vengeance that consumed her for so long for Vi’s sake (which ultimately led to her allowing Vi to break Jinx out) was more meaningful to me than if they had some long blow out argument (and Vi recognizing this immediately and jumping Caitlyn’s bones then and there was just *chefs kiss* to me)

They’ll never be perfect. They’ll always have to work at their relationship. It won’t be pretty, sometimes even unfair. They’ll fight and clash and not always agree, but there’s always this persistent feeling of LOVE anyway, and they’ve decided they’ll put in the work to make their relationship last despite it all. And I think it’s beautiful.

i tried to play into tumblr's automatic video looping but you can also watch it on youtube with subtitles for the dialogue, it's not that important, it's more about the idea of the loop than the experience

#agatha all along #not perfect but im pretty pleased with this as a first impression #i mean it's literally only been 3 days it's gonna take simmering for a while before i come up with like #the really interesting ideas and visuals #but this already has some potential #i especially like the second verse #the 'please let him live' with the dandelion and rio blowing the protection sand circle away #giving response to the request but not in any way agatha can understand #and that sequence of dandelion-rio-baby is just so on point both idea-wise and rhythm-wise #and the covens/hands/binding ritual part #'you hold nothing' -> agathas empty (healed by rio) hand and her three of swords #i also like the second refrain/fighting sequence #especially the sequence of agatha killing her coven-dead witches become knife on the floor-she looks at it-death looks at her #anyway. nice to make a video again #already started a second one for them but i dont know when im finishing that one since my editing program situation is not ideal rn #and also i have homework to do

#Final Fantasy XIV #FFXIV #WoL x Erenville #X'vahl Tia #Erenvahl #huge chunks of dialogue my beloathed...#Lamaty'i like: Maybe I leave out the part where I thought I was going to die......... :3 #This might seem like it didn't take very long for me to draft #but in truth it has been sitting in limbo just as long as the one I posted yesterday was #I just didn't want to post a rehash of MSQ with nothing to follow it for another month #so I forced myself to try to get these both out around the same time.#Anyway I suffer when I have to write this much dialogue #especially for a character I don't know as well #but it's good practice at least.#and while these are all supposed to center on Erenvahl #I wanted to get an outside perspective and Lamaty'i's is very important.#Honestly that short story couldn't have come at a better time #Anyway... there's gonna be a bit of a time skip between this and the next one probably #but just imagine that Erenville's trauma cutscene when he finds out about his mom happens between this and the next one #I'm not going to add that scene since it literally happens exactly how it happened in game #a part of me thinks I should for pacing but I'm not going to.

man i really think about how gory the deaths in tlo were. beckendorf gets blown up, michael yew (presumably) falls to death along with an an entire bridge and some monsters, several ares campers get swallowed by the lydian drakon, silena gets half her face melted off, ethan gets debris in his stomach and pitched FROM THE HEAVENS,, luke's hands are burned to a crisp before he stabs himself in the armpit
