4.   Here at the agency, we have the HIGHEST STANDARDS in responding to emails from the public. I noticed there are SEVERAL HUNDRED UNANSWERED EMAILS sent to Hotguy’s addresses that redirect to our shared mailbox. Scar is a very busy man! It is YOUR JOB to clear these out.

5.   We are open and helpful with everyone. Except hostile journalists. And the TCG. And the tax authorities. And anyone who might want Scar to do anything unreasonable like ‘be on time for something’. Keep this in mind as you go through the inbox.

You have completely ignored all of these requests. People screaming, people running, everything coated in a fine layer of powdered sugar. No injuries yet, but it looks like the Prize-Winning Triple Marshmallow Churro Donut display will never be the same again.

Hotguy has arrived!

He’s swooped in with three trick arrow shots that set off fireworks above the crowd, rappelled straight up to Doc on the roof, and started a fist fight with him. It’s very dramatic. I’m not sure he’s actually landing any of those blows.

Helpfully for Cuteguy, no one is looking at him anymore. He’s surreptitiously putting distance between himself and the TCG agents.

Doc is now making another speech while fighting Hotguy. If I’m honest, he seems pretty happy he’s finally getting the credit for his own evil plot. We’ve got a close-up on him. Doc would like us all to know that this is the future of poultry, the future of lasers, and possibly the future of donuts? Last part a bit unclear as at that point Hotguy threw his loudhailer off the roof.

Meanwhile, Cuteguy is trying to lure the chickens away from the civilians with pieces of donut. This would be working better if the crowd weren’t all shoving forwards to try to get a better look at Doc.

Doc has taken off on a jetpack declaring he’ll “be back!”. Hotguy has given him a thumbs up.

Oh, now Hotguy has finally caught on to what Cuteguy is trying to do and is chivvying the crowd to help herd the chickens away with donuts for bait. Donuts are flying. The crowd is now enthusiastically participating in this donut-tossing activity. The chickens are delighted. Hotguy has spotted our camera team chasing him and we’re getting a lot of that action-shot this-is-my-good-side pose.

Hotguy and Cuteguy work together pretty well when they get going, huh?

Now Hotguy has swung down to land in the middle of the crowd and put an arm around each of the TCG agents, who are heavily dusted in sugar and look somewhat sheepish. What a nicely framed shot! Almost as if Hotguy pushed them into position for the cameras.

Well, I suppose I’m writing an article about how much Hotguy helps the TCG.

Your client owes me one.

Doc’s guard robot has rounded up the chickens that Hotguy and Cuteguy have funneled back into a nearby alley. It seems to be putting them in large nets. The local pizza place has a sign that says RIGATONI JONES PIZZA: CLOSED DUE TO CHICKEN EMERGENCY, and for some reason Cuteguy seems upset about this. Excitement over, I suppose?

{This is a project that I have been hoping to make for a while, due to school and personal issues irl, it had to be put on a wishlist. Thanks to the rest of my summer being free, I will be able to work on this!}

{This is a general AU ask blog. It fits the majority of the alternate universes that you see on my main ( @cartooncadet666 ), as it is based on background lore.}

Rules/Major Notes:

1. This takes place in the past, most likely when Pac World War I was starting. Most of the interactions in the canon-show timeline have not happened. (Meaning at this time, Apex, Tip, Pointybrains, and everyone else do not know anyone from Pac-World yet.)

2. Apex is currently not the leader of the Pointyheads; he is being trained and will be known as “Muse.”

3. You, unfortunately, cannot “warn” any of the characters that something is going to happen (if you had read any of my posts about some of the disasters the Pointyheads had) Think of it as the Overlords re-recording some of these clips, if you try to warn them, they will censor you.

4. None of the characters will act “canonically.” Because it is the past, they don’t feel the need to keep up an act or a defensive personality.

5. You can ask silly questions and interact with them physically (like, for example, taping them to the ceiling), just as long as it wouldn’t greatly affect any future event.

6. If you would like to ask questions to another Pointyhead, you might have to introduce them to Apex first if he doesn’t already know them; this is his ask blog after all.

7. Finally, this is a really big one. Please, no NSFW asks. If you have a mini-crush on a character and want to express your love for them in a friendly way, that’s fine, but please keep it to a minimum, and don’t go into the “freaky” area. It makes me uncomfortable.

↑ Another note, please don’t try to pressure a ship or something of the sort onto any of the characters. Most of the relationship dynamics are built that way for a reason. I am accepting of many ships, but this project doesn’t go too much into any romance category aside from the dynamic between two characters at the moment.

You know I have some really unfriendly opinions on Misha and especially Jensen but I don't go out of my way to try to make their fans upset. Don't be a dick.

So, I usually don't plan on addressing the various vituperative messages that have built up in my ask box --- just a brief side note to the others about that... I did say that it was always open, but that is not, btw, an invitation to be bullied! Luckily, however, I really don't care. So. Go off, I guess! (Side question: if I give you permission to yell at me in my ask box, will you leave everyone else alone? Because I'd make that trade.) --- but yours actually makes an argument that I can address, instead of just spitting random opinions as though they're facts, all proceeded by "LOL", so I'm going to respond.

Despite my natural proclivity for sarcasm, I mean this completely honestly; it's really cool that you have, as you term them, unfriendly opinions on Misha and Jensen. And, while I, personally, disagree --- at least as regards their acting; like I've said repeatedly, I don't know everything (or even that much) about them irl --- I honestly welcome you to share them! There are tons of people out there who are bound to feel similarly --- it's a statistical certainty, given the size of the SPN fandom --- and I cannot say enough how satisfying it can be to find people of like-minded ways of thinking.

There's a difference between expressing one's opinion, however, and "[going] out of my way to try to make their fans upset." It's not like I left these messages untagged, or anything like that; they weren't left with solely generic tagging, with something along the lines of "#supernatural", "#sam winchester", "#jared padalecki", etc. Indeed, I marked this as explicitly "#anti jared padalecki" every time, precisely because I didn't want people to be exposed to the post unless they chose to look at things tagged that way; I marked it this way so people knew what they were getting into.

If his fans saw this post, then they actively sought it out. I will take responsibility for what I said --- largely because I said it and stand by it: I don't like his acting, probably never will, and nobody (especially not random jarpad stans online, who took the four hours in which I was sleeping as free reign to spam my inbox with asks whose anonymous statuses suggest that they weren't even willing to take credit for them in public) is going to change my opinion on this --- but I do not take responsibility for, as you put it, "going out of my way to try to make [his] fans upset." They chose to be here same as I did.

Also. Speaking as a fan of Jensen's acting, a fan of Misha's acting, and a very severe anti to Padalecki's acting: if you like Jared's acting, that's valid! If you dislike Misha/Jensen? That's valid! Opinions --- especially differing ones --- are good; they're measures of individuality, of free will, et cetera. A number of my friends love Jared and Sam, and dealing with that is really easy! I just don't talk to them about the fact that I dislike either of their faves. With the exception of the occasional good-tempered debate --- where they're giving as good as they get, and we're both speaking in good fun --- it just doesn't come up! And that's fine!

There's a difference between having an opinion and trying to force other people to share it. I never said that Jared stans should come look at the posts, and I haven't exactly been subtle about disliking Sam up to this point; indeed, a brief search on "anti sam winchester" yields about 20 results on my blog. If his fans choose to come onto my blog, that's their choice. And if we're at the point where expressing a contrasting opinion to any group of people is "going out of my way to try to make [them] upset", then our society is discouraging individuals from thinking for themselves, and that's problematic in and of itself.

So, yeah. Differing opinions = good. Expressing opinions = good. Trying to force other people to share them = bad. Yelling at random people online because they don't love your idol = bad. It's not that hard!

I'm about to start my own (twst) writing blog and I'm going around writers that I follow for some advice q*q could you give me any wisdom on what I should do when starting a writing blog? thank you!! I love your works and you're one of the writers that inspire me

Aa thank you baby I'm so happy to hear that I inspire you!! First off, good luck with the new writing blog! I'm glad that more authors are joining the fandom and wish you all the best with your works! 💞💖💞 Other than trying to keep your blog organized by creating a proper masterlist, choosing a suitable aesthetic, having a set of rules and making sure to tag all of the warnings and necessary mentions (gender of reader, n/sfw or trigger warning), I tried to come up with some useful advises that might help!

1) Keep up the great confidence!

First and the most important thing about a writing blog, is to be confident and strong. Look, you shouldn't be afraid of posting your works and sharing with the redt of the fandom, even as they're not as perfect as you want them to be. The more you write, the more you learn! And you'd grow to be better and better as you continue to share your works! Not even the greatest authors had been any perfect on their first days!

2) If you're accepting requests, try to set a limit

Being overwhelmed with asks is never pleasant, if you just open your inbox to face 500 requests you'd be to be terrified and confused and even lose your passion to work on any of them because of the stress and not knowing where to begin from. Try to set a limit based on your personal limits, how many requests do you think you can have at the time without stressing out because of how much they are? 10? 20? 50? 100? 200? Doesn't matter! If you feel like you're fine with huge numbers like 200 and 150, it's totally fine! If not, remember that setting a character limit would not only reduce the possible chance of stressing out and overwhelming anxiety but it'll also help you manage your inbox better and easier! You can start taking requests again just as soon as your inbox in cleared!

3) Try to treat yourself every once in a while!

Working on requests can be tiring and sometimes, boring. It's great if you enjoy working on requests no matter what they are but remember to write for your own pleasure every once in a while too!

Even if you have like 100 requests laying in your inbox, feel free to write self indulgent fics or something that you'd like to write even if it's super odd an irrelevant to your normal writings! Remember that you deserve to read something you enjoy just as much as the others do, so don't forget to bless yourself with that beautiful writing of yours ;) Remember that it's your blog, you are free to do everything that makes you happy or anything that you simply enjoy doing ^^

4) Remember that no matter what, toxicity always exists and it's not your fault

Look toxicity is very common to be found social medias, especially platforms like tumblr in which anonymous function exists. Even celebrities and world-famous artists might get attacked over pretty silly stuff every once in a while so it's something usual to happen! I wish you never receive any potentially harmful or rude asks or messages but if you ever do, best would be to block or simply ignore them! People in this platform can be ridiculous sometimes lol, there are people who DM creators just to spam hate and block the creator whom they spammed after wards lol, so don't even bother t waste your time with such people!

If anyone comes to your inbox/DMs/comments to say something harsh or leave a sharp critique, best would be to ignore them. Even if you like to answer or respond to reply to them tey to be chill and not take them seriously. Remember, even if they didn't like your content they could've just scrolled down without bothering to read your work, so if they had the guts to come and spam you with nonsense just because they didn't like your work, it's their fault! They didn't have to read, and it doesn't even matter if they liked your work or not! It's their problem and all, so remember not to let these kind of people get to you at all!

5) Take it easy with writing

Don't push yourself too hard, remember that not everything you write is supposed to be *perfect. This is even more serious when it comes to requests, thousands of unexpected ideas might pop up in your inbox and it makes it quite confusing to choose what to write or do!

First off, don't be any shy or anxious about rejecting the requests which don't follow your rules or come when you aren't accepting requests. Those who violate your rules aren't worthy of your time and work!

Secondly, keep this is mind that you aren't expected to be able to write everything! Sometimes the requests are hard to write, the idea seems odd or hard to understand, or sometimes you just don't feel comfortable or don't want to write it all, which is okay!

You always have the right to take/drop whichever of your requests and you don't owe anyone anything for this, it's your own blog, your work, and your content. Don't ever force yourself to write something which you don't like to write!

6) Your health is always the top priority

Remember that no matter how popular you are, how many followers you have, how many requests are left in your inbox or how much people are wishing to get more of your content, you're free to stop writing and put this wrong at a temporarily (or even permanent) hiatus.

Sometimes you just don't feel like writing, then don't write. If you feel like you're being too busy with work/family/school and anything please don't force yourself to write! Remember that your real life matters always come first!

Also, you might even need a break from writing without necessarily being really busy or sad, sometimes you just need to take a break from everything, and it's totally fine to do! Take as much time as you need and stay healthy during your breaks. It'd be even better if you don't even think of any new ideas/Aus while you're taking a break from writing so you can fully set your mind off stuff! Doesn't even matter if followers/readers are going to appreciate this or not, it's not about them, it's about you. Remember that your good readers/follwers who understand that authors are normal humans and not writing machines would surely understand if you need to take a break too!

7)Keep yourself motivated!

There might be days when you can and have the time to write, but something's holding you back. You feel like procrastinating over and over at some point lose the motivation to write. First off, that's a really normal matter to see as many of us have to struggle with laziness sometimes lol, but there are some useful tips to keep yourself Motamedi and hyped while you're planning to write! A bit of challenge would not only make it a lot more fun, but is also a good way to keep yourself motivated and inspired!

First, try prompt lists! They've always got plenty of useful ideas and inspirational quotes to use and are absolutely amazing to give you new ideas for a writing!

Second, try to challenge yourself by simple stuff like setting yourself word limits, trying to see how much you can write in an hour, use some suggested words in your stories (ex: Banana, train, knife, turkey) as a small challenge! You can also try small events (like milestone or holiday events) to celebrate on your blog with stuff like: Prompt list requests, CYOAs, character interaction and other new stuff that gives you a better motivation tp write instead of just having to work on the same, usual writing requests over and over.

Also, I suggest putting an specific hour for writing/ checking on your blog in your daily schedule as this is also a way of avoiding procrastination, instead of writing 10 requests a day and not writing anything for two weeks, try to set an schedule like writing 1-2 writings everyday! Remember to put your real life activities in the schedule too so you won't have to go through any trouble to find a balance between your real life and running a writing blog!

8) Remember the crediting/copyrights

I'm just adding this here because I can see quite a few of writers using uncredited art for their stories and it's been much and less of an issue lately ^^;

First off, the arts/headers used in your writing. Make sure not to use any uncredited card or anyone else's edit without their permission, otherwise it's nothing different from stealing the work from the original artst!

If you're going to leave a link to the artist, make sure to check on them and check if they allow reposts with credit or not. If they don't, don't use their art. If they do, make sure to give them a proper credit with a link to them! (:

Editors too on the other hand spend a very long time making their edits and and aesthetics, so not copying their work is just as important as not stealing art from the artsits!

Pinterest is filled with uncredited art and if there's a pinterest art who is not linked to the original artist, putting the empty pinterest pin link would be useless and steal counted as stealing art.

9) Stick with your own writing style!

Writing style is like signature, everyone's got their very own and unique writing style. From the way you portray characters to what elements you use as the story develops, you're totally different from each and every of other authors in this fandom!

You may sometimes wonder if your writing style is any good at all while you look at other creators writings and feel the difference, and I gotta say: It doesn't even matter what others are doing! All that is important, is you.

Don't try to change your style to become close another writer's style, your own style is great as it already is! Even if you aren't yet that experienced with writing and feel like your writing could be better, remember that your writing skills will indeed improve as you continue to write and read newer and newer stuff, so don't worry about it!

Each and every writing style has got its own beauty, not everyone may totally enjoy your style at first but and as you continue to write, you'd get to learn what makes people enjoy your writing even more or how you can attract new readers with your writings, your style will change for the better as you write!

Though it's totally fine if you feel like there are writers who inspire and motivate you, remember that you won't have to be them in order to improve! You don't need to be just like them to be great! Even if you do have some issues like being a non-native speaker which can make it quite hard for you to write, you'd automatically learn and have most of your errors fixed as the time passes. I made LOTS of mistakes in my first writings but I hardly ever make any mistakes now because I'm used to it! Though it was a bit late I finally recognized my mistakes and corrected them! And I'd continue to correct more of my mistakes as I continue to write!

10) It's very good to have different writer mutuals

This one is rather optional, just a small recommendation! Though there are many writers who might recommend this as a rather important factor for running a writing blog, I'd say that this isn't necessary as there are still well-known tumblr authors and even twst authors who gained attention to themselves on their own and not with the help and support of any mutuals or writer friends, so it isn't impossible to be successful even without having any mutuals!

The thing with having mutuals is that it makes everything easier. A totally new twst blog can gain around 100 followers on its first without even posting anything more than a writing and a list of rules only because of being supported and boosted by well-known blogs while a for normal blog without any support or boosting, it may take up to 2-3 weeks or even an entire month to gain that 100!

Also, getting to talk with different authors (especially those who are more experienced than you) is motivational and heartwarming, you can feel like you have a team to belong to. You can discuss different writing ideas/issues/blog chores with them and see what they may think. You can even have their support with new ideas if you feel stuck/unmotivated while writing a piece!

I didn't have any mutuals on my first days either and I admit that this made things a bit hard, but it didn't hold me back from continuing to write! Yet I admit that it's surely very useful to have a couple of writer friends around you whom you can share your ideas with! Mutuals support each other, reblog each other's works and give each other a better chance of having their works read by more users, which is quite amazing and helpful!

11) Go for it and don't give up!

Remember that no one, not even the greatest writing blogs have been perfect on their first days. They weren't well-known back then either! And they wouldn't have been any successful today without being hard-working and strong. Leaving up to the previous 10 rules is the hardest part of having a blog, and it's all about not giving up!

Do not try to judge your writing and talents based on the amount of notes your posts get or how many followers you have, because these aren't ever going to show your true worth and talents! But I assure you, if you continue to write even through your hard days, your unmotivated days and your sad days no matter how hard it's supposed to be, everything will change. The more you write, the higher the chance of having new people find and read your works would be! Keeping up the hard work and believing in yourself is the key to achieving anything you may wish for, even having a successful writing blog!

As you continue to write, you'll get more readers, more notes on your posts, more followers and more people who enjoy your content!

hello lovely person, i come to your inbox seeking solace and the permission to rant about the eternally frustrating mess that is bana twitter. i'm so infuriated by delulu ot5 stans spamming a3 asking for reunion pics w j and b and demanding that they include those 2 in the official anniversary celebrations bc j&b ""deserve" it like??? where do they get their sense of entitlement from lmao i don't get it. and really, why should a3 bear the onus of asking them to join the celebrations when the other 2 have given no indication that they wish to do so in the first place like they literally left the group and no longer associate themselves with it (and no ig bios don't count people) what's not clicking?

it honestly makes me more pissed at the 2 who left (jy in particular) bc they refuse to make a clean break. wm also had a part to play in it ofc bc they didn't release an unequivocal statement about their departure from the group (altho they did say b1a4 will only be promoting as 3 going forward so idk how anyone misinterpret it) but what irks me is that jy never really acknowledged the fact that he left (at least baro wrote a nice letter thanking bana and a3). he keeps stringing his fans along by making empty promises about future reunions and!!!i hate that he won't change his ig bio or twitter header and whatever else it is that convinces people that "his heart lies w b1a4". i hate that he does all this but a3 still have to bear the brunt of the criticism from their fandom even tho they've been working their asses off to give us quality music (jinthoven who, producer cnu owns my heart now) and wholesome content (how precious was b1a4 arcade) to make up for their perceived sins against bana.

Two things real quick:

Ok now that that’s out of the way lol, wow 10/10, 💯, like god I really have nothing else to even add? Perfect rant, perfect points, all completely 100% factual points, that some people just don’t seem to like to address or acknowledge in their ‘OT5′ comments. But the thing is, all of this is true!!

What bothers me the most about the whole OT3/OT5 argument basically comes down to two points:

1. Those spewing OT5 Forever on their personal accounts is one thing. I’ve always said everyone is entitled to their own feelings about this, and I can respect we have our differences. However, going to A3′s accounts, to their VLive, and commenting and spamming posts about Baro and Jinyoung and ‘Oh, What does THIS MEAN that Jinyoung posted to the B1A4 VLIVE?? What DOES IT MEAN that Baro posted a pic holding a BANA CUP?!!? I MISS B1A4 AS FIVE’ and it’s like... let’s actually take a breath. Jinyoung’s incident was obviously a mistake, one that he hasn’t even addressed. Baro admittedly has liked a few B1A4 posts here and there, with this most recent insta upload the most ‘vocal’ he’s been regarding B1A4. But does it mean they are going to magically appear for the 10th anniversary? Not at all. There is absolutely no connection between these events. And to try and make such a connection is clearly going out of your way to try and create something that isn’t there because you want it to happen. Not because you are looking at the facts and the comments that the members who are actually, actively in B1A4 have made, but because you are overlooking what they have said, and what WM Ent has said, to fit your agenda. And to go and post these wishes and hopes on their official accounts, or even worse, Shindeulchan’s personal social media accounts, especially given how THEY expressed how they felt about the split, well damn. (Basically most of which you’ve already listed-- WM’s statement of B1A4 continuing AS THREE, Sandeul and CNU’s comments and feelings they have made on guest show appearances, their fanmeet, the B1A4 Documentary+, etc., not to mention Baro’s statement, and even Jinyoung’s, which mentions about looking forward into the future if they should all come back again, in addition to the dead silence Jinyoung has been about bipo since then) but just because some of us aren’t ‘OT5′ given all that, DOESN’T MEAN WE’RE AGAINST BARO OR JINYOUNG!! like that pisses me off so much, this ‘divide’ that is being made... It’s like no, I just respect the feelings of the members who are actually here more so than wishing for something to happen that isn’t going to any time soon, like sorry that upsets you. And guess what, I still will always adore Baro and Jinyoung. I still wish the best for them. And if/when the time comes that they want to come back, and A3 accepts them back (because again, it’s up to THEM, not the ‘OT5′ fans!!) I will 100% be happy and grateful to see B1A4 as five. But until then, I will support Baro and Jinyoung in their solo efforts, and B1A4 as three, for all that they do and have done to make the transition from 5 to 3 easier for us.

Regarding ‘non-asks’ and fanart

(This has been something I’ve been pondering a while, and with the blog quickly approaching 800 followers, and the askbox piling up to 400 asks, it is something that needs to be done for the sake of my own interests and the interest of you guys, the audience.

From this point on, ‘non-asks’ will simply be deleted.

What is a ‘non-ask’? It is when something is sent through the askbox but is not a question that can create character development, or simply not a question at all.

This includes; Asking for Hugs/Kisses/Other Affection, or in some cases, giving characters this affection without permission (which sidenote, pretty disrespectful.). Just greetings, or compliments. And just completely unrelated things, like song lyrics, quotes or the asker’s opinion about something unrelated.

The main reason for me doing this, is that it is boring. Not just for me to draw hugs over and over again, but it is boring to see basically redraws of the same thing over and over again. And not to mention, if I answer one ask like that, more come in, and I’d never get actual story done.

I went through the askbox, and out of the current 338 asks there are, 192 are these ‘non-asks’. That’s more that half the inbox for things that could have simply gone in the comment or tags of a reblog, or sent to me via an IM.

So for the sake of everyone, I will be only answering actual questions that either move the current plotline forward, or add some character development.

You are more than welcome to add these to the end of actual asks, or heck, even draw the hugs yourself, or commission me to draw that. But please no more ‘non-asks’.

ON ANOTHER NOTE: FANART

I have a bit of a problem when it comes to rebloging fanart, simply because I forget, so to solve that issue;

From now on also: I will queue fanart to post on the nearest Friday! (bc I’m so creative and using fanart friday haha) It will be one an hour, as not to spam.

The only exception to this, will be if the art helps move storylines along.

DEITIES Update 10/29/18

(Okay wow it's been so long since I've used this banner, I nearly forgot I even had it sdjfksk)

Anyway hey everyone! I think we're due for another brief update, mostly regarding what I'll be up to as this long af year draws to a close. Details are under the cut, but the gist involves an askbox hiatus following this week, to give myself some time for some overdue housekeeping, and maybe some new art and content.

DEITIES ASKBOX & CC HIATUS (Don't worry it's temporary!!)

Might as well put that upfront, but yes rest assured this hiatus is meant to be a temporary one! Those of you who have been following the blog since the beginning may already be aware of my occasional calls to close the askbox, especially after askbox themes and when the volume becomes a bit high.

In this case, it's partially due to the increasing volume of asks I receive; partially due to some new (exciting???) things that are demanding my attention offline; but mostly to just take a break. You all have been asking some very good questions lately, and I appreciate the thought you put in them! But writing thorough answers takes time, and I need to reclaim a bit more of mine in the evening to work thru some projects and online housekeeping thru the end of this year. Rather than rush thru writing my answers for incoming questions, I think a solid break will be more ideal.

For those of you who have some last questions to ask me, I'll keep the ask box open until the end of Thursday, November 1, 11:59pm EDT (Note, this doesn't grant permission to spam the askbox, especially if you'd asked multiple questions already, so be mindful of that please!) After that deadline, I'll close the askbox on tumblr and answer the remainder in my inbox by this weekend, before officially going on break. This way no new questions will sit in the inbox, and I can try to avoid leaving people from wondering whether or not I'll answer them (for the record, I answer about 90% of questions I receive, the 10% that I don't can be explained in the FAQs -- including the very end regarding reasons you may not get an answer).

I'll also try to revisit the DEITIES CuriousCat briefly to see if any pressing questions are there, but any non-dire questions in my inbox will have to wait until I'm off hiatus (another note, I can't pause or close my askbox on CC, so you could technically still submit questions there, just know that I will not log in to check my inbox during this break).

As for how long this break will last? No idea yet; at least thru the end of November, but possible longer depending on how things progress with certain events in the works or if I otherwise feel like extending it. Until then, I ask for your patience until I'm ready to step back into the AMA saddle, so to speak. And fee free to review the FAQs and past questions around the blog to see if any question you might have have been addressed.

TUMBLR & WEBSITE HOUSEKEEPING

On that note, just because I'm taking a break from the project askbox won't mean I'll leave this blog neglected, far from it. At the very least I'm hoping to use part of this break to update a few pages on the project tumblr -- including the FAQs, some of my tagged content, and recording some of my askbox and CC responses as a reference/backup, which I haven’t done in months o)-----< It'll all be done in the background tho, but it should hopefully help visitors find more of the updated/recent info regarding this blog and the project.

If possible, I will also be working to finally migrate the placeholder site for DEITIES -- http://deitiesofduat.com -- to work with WordPress, which is one of the software I've been learning to use from my online classes. I eventually need to use WordPress to construct the full site for the comic, and migrating my placeholder on the system should at least help get the technical set up out of the way. Self-hosting is such a chore you guys. I can do it cuz I like working with WordPress but it's still, a chore. 

Either way, that URL may not function for a bit whenever I sit down to migrate it, but it should only be temporary until I get it to work properly.

CONTENT UPDATES WHEN...?

YEAH ABOUT THAT... cuz I'm fully aware that the blog has had less art and other content over the past few months. All I can say rn is that until I address some huge priorities in my offline life, content for DEITIES will remain irregular. That's the reality, unfortunately, but I'm still determined to see this project through, and I'm optimistic about some recent development that should hopefully help me re-establish my pace. You'll all know when I'm ready to share the news.

That said, I will still try to work on some bits of DEITIES artwork during the remainder of the year, once I have the time and drive for it. I'm also quietly working on updates to playlists on the DEITIES Spotify account (not many atm cuz I'm still evaluating some tracks in like, placeholder lists atm haha--).

There are also a few other fun things I'm playing with as well, that I can hopefully realize and share with everyone soon. I'll making any other necessary updates as they come, but until then take care everyone, and enjoy your Halloween!

Rules And Boundaries

Hey Guys! So, I thought that I should make my own list of boundaries on what I am willing to write about and unwilling to write about. And some rules about requesting so everything can still remain fun and happy for everyone including me, the person who’s writing these fics and short stories.

No, nobody’s forced me to make this, this is something that I’ve wanted to do for some time now but never really felt that I should even do it, but I’ve seen a couple of blogs where the writers laid out what they are comfortable with writing and laying down some ground rules, so I decided that I should just go ahead and lay it all out for you guys. However, Rule number 6 and is a new implementation that I should’ve been doing from the start, but you know, you live and you learn. So here it is.

My Rules: 1. I welcome constructive criticism! However, I do not accept blatantly rude comments or asks. If you don’t like something, don’t just say you hate it and go away! Seriously, that’s just rude. Tell me why you hated it. “I hated this because it was inaccurate, I hated it because it wasn’t descriptive enough, I hated it because it was too long/short.” Literally anything as to why you didn’t think it was good.

2. Please be respectful. Don’t bombard my inbox with the same ask over and over again, or spam my comments or PM. It’s rude and frankly annoying. I promise you if you’ve sent it, I’ve seen it and may have responded to it. I’m one to give second chances, however, the second time you spam, I will end up throwing out your request.

3. Be patient when you request. Understand that I have a life outside of Tumblr and Fanfiction. Do not pressure me about when an update or when something is coming. It’s going to give me anxiety and make me feel guilty and throw something together, just to get it out of the way and not write it to the fullest potential it could have.

4. Understand that I am a real person with feelings. Do not just send hate just because you can hide behind an Anonymous skin. It’s uncalled for and just rude. If you have a problem with me then PM me, and we can try to work out the root of your issue with me appropriately. Though I will immediately report and block you if you send death threats, tell me to kill myself, or anything that’s remotely too far. I do not deal with bullies. Remember if you can’t say anything nice, do not say anything at all. Because I guarantee you that I know that other Tumblr Blogs will stick up for me.

5. Please do not re-post my work without my consent. I spend time writing these stories, I deserve my own credit. This is the only place that I post however I also have a Wattpad and an Ao3 account, but I rarely post on them. Unless I’ve said something about it, this is the only blog and the only place my stories are mine, that being said, if you see any of my works on a different site, please let me know so I can attempt to reason with the reposter to take it down or at least credit me in it if they have not.

6. When you request smut anonymously. I would appreciate it if you include your age. Anything else you don’t need to put your age. Just the smut request I need you to give me your age, I do not feel comfortable about potentially writing a smut for a minor. I live in the U.S., for those outside the U.S., the legal age is 18. I don’t care if in your country that legal age is 16, you are still considered a minor in mine. Do not lie to me about your age. I do not lie to you about mine, it’s only fair that you do the same.

7. I have the right to say no to a request. If I don’t want to write a request or feel like that I may not be the best one to write it, I will refer you over to a different writer that may be able to write your request.

8. Don’t commit ‘Adultery’ with your request. Do not send me the same request you sent to someone else without telling me that you’ve sent the same or a similar one to a different blog. Some writers are very territorial over their content and it’s too much drama and work to worry about.

9. Similar Requests. If you send me a request that is strikingly similar to a fic that’s already been made and I know about, I will recommend that one first to you before I write anything about it. As I said, writers can be very territorial over their content.

10. Do not plagiarize me or steal my ideas. If you want to write your own versions of a story I did, talk to me! Chances are I’ll say sure, go for it! Because you took the time to ask me if you could use my idea or prompt to get a fic of your own out. Heck, I’ll even boost your fic too! ———————

Boundaries:

Stuff that I am willing to write: Fluff, Angst, Smut.

Fluff: Anything that’s cute and safe for the general audience.

Angst: I will write about abuse, Murder, Mental Illness, Arguments, Suicide (with trigger warnings)

Smut: Consented, Dubious Consent, Protected, Unprotected, Vanilla-leaning kinks, Slight BDSM. Pregnancy

Fictional Characters: Example- Jake Peralta, Amy Santiago or anyone else that is requested like Rosa Diaz, or Charles Boyle

Stuff that I am NOT willing to write:

Angst: Suicide without trigger warnings; Rape without Trigger warnings

Smut: Descriptive details on Rape, Underage/Adult Relationships, Hardcore BDSM (the dark stuff), Forced Pregnancy.

Real Person Fics. Example- Andy Samberg, Melissa Fumero

Allow me to explain my position on RPFs. I personally believe they are creepy and may even be disrespectful to the subject at hand, unless, they’ve given permission and have acknowledged that people can write fanfiction about them. So any request I get that’s asking for an Andy Samberg fic, I am going to change it to a Jake Peralta Fic because this is a Brooklyn Nine-Nine Only blog. You may be thinking to yourself: ‘But she adds the Andy Samberg tag on all of her stories.’ Yes I do, because Jake Peralta is part of the Brooklyn Nine-Nine fandom, if I add it, the more likely those who do not follow me will see my fics.

However, I have written RPFs before and I’ve written a lot of them, but I’ve grown as a person and adapted my own personal beliefs about them as I got older. While I may not write RPFs anymore, if you do, then do not let my opinion knock you down. Keep doing what you’re doing and I’ll keep doing what I’m doing.

About this blog The way this blog works is through submissions. I do not reblog your picture or create posts upon request. I turn submissions on over the weekend (usually on Friday night here in Australia) and switch them off on Monday to ensure that they are open all weekend for everyone around the world. I don’t make changes to submissions because it actually gives me headaches to scroll all the way through the already queued submissions searching for a particular one and sometimes it has been deleted so I end up wasting my time. So please do not press submit until you are certain your submission is correct! Even if you message me right after you press submit, I will only see your message after I have already deleted or queued your submission. Feel free to resubmit! If your first submission followed the rules but you forgot to add something, please wait awhile before re-submitting, otherwise I will delete your second submission, because I will assume it is spam.

If submissions are OFF, it will say “url not found”

I turn submissions off from Monday night to Friday so that I can take a break and so the queue does not get too full. When I had submissions open all of the time, the queue would be full and there would be hundreds more waiting in the inbox. This meant that people would wait weeks for their post to go up and it was hard to keep track of whether or not someones submission had even been posted or deleted. Now all submissions (that followed the rules) are posted within 1 week.

You must only submit on behalf of yourself (not a friend, even with their permission)! Please read the rules before submitting, otherwise your picture will probably be deleted (a LOT of submissions do get deleted).

You must state your age either in the caption or by selecting ONE of the age group tags. If you select more than 1 age group, I will delete your submission. Or if you say you are 16 but select another age group eg. 18to24.

The reason why I am so strict with tags is because

a) I think it is important to protect the younger people who submit. I do not want to ban younger people from submitting because these people are often really in need of similar people to talk to. Plus, they will probably just submit anyway and say they are older - you’re supposed to be 13+ to join tumblr and clearly that doesn’t stop younger people from signing up!

b) This is why I created this blog in the first place: to allow people to search for someone in a specific location or age group. Other blogs like this are usually very lax and don’t mind if someone selects every tag. Therefore, clicking on the 16to17 age group would bring up a group of people of all ages. If you are not 16 to 17 but want to talk to people in that age range, just say that in the caption!

If you want to block certain age groups (eg. anyone under 18) the tags I use are: “15andUnder” “16to17” “18to24” and “25orover”

If you are unsure about the rules and really want to get posted, here are some tips:

Look at the submissions that have been posted and see what they did

Do not select any tags (they are optional!)

State your age in the caption (this is the only requirement!)

Wear clothes in your picture

If you want your post deleted, I’m happy to do this for you but I need the link to your post. The link looks something like this: www.girlslookingforgirls.tumblr.com/post/1234567890 Please do not ask me to delete your post without providing this. A lot of girls do that and then send abusive messages when I haven’t deleted it, even after I have told them to provide the link. I’m not asking for your url, I need the direct link to your actual post. If you send it via fanmail, you can copy and paste the link into your message. If you send it via ask, it says that you cannot send a link.
