I do in fact have a scar map of Ed. You know when I was making it I realized a lot of the damage Ed takes it like... internal. Like they get kicked around A LOT.

I do facepalm when reading art drama frequently. Artists can use references; artists can trace over photos of real people to break down shapes before adapting it and stylising it all when redrawing it in their art. As long as they’re not directly tracing over another person’s artwork, I really don’t see an issue. Literally people in the industry learn like that, I have no clue why people expect artists to come up with material from thin air.

im trying out trans tape for the first time and WOW I LOVE THIS SO MUCH

it looks pretty shit though, I'll be honest, like it's not doing a super good job of flattening my chest rn but I expected that lol. it's partly bc it was my first time doing it and and I had no idea what I was doing and partly bc my chest just has a very high density lmao. and tape in general tends to flatten you less from what I've seen/heard.

I just bought some regular kt tape because that's what I have access to (+ it's cheaper lol. paid about 5 dollars maybe for 5m of it. the downside ofc is that it doesn't come as wide as Actual trans tape). I can totally see how it would be easier if it was a bit wider but honestly the hassle of ordering it wasn't worth it for me atm.

idk if it's because I didn't stretch it enough, but I haven't had any itchiness? like. At All. and that's something I've seen lots of ppl complain about so I'm really glad I haven't experienced that yet.

but omg! it's so comfortable. like unreal-y so. like this is to most comfortable I've been across every way to handle your chest. from a binder to just wearing nothing. (idk about a proper bra though bc I do not have one of those lmao. previously I've basically mostly been wearing sports bras and then ocasionally my binder when I've felt the need)

but yesterday and today, I've just been straight up forgetting about it?? that doesn't ever happen! like when I'm wearing a bra/binder I'm constantly feeling it and thinking of it and am reminded of the fact that I have a chest. and when I'm not I still feel them and they Bother Me. but now ? I can literally just forget about it ? and it was such a weird feeling when I'd just put it on and was just at home chilling and it just... wasn't an issue? and today I was out and about doing stuff and yeah. it was just such a non-issue. I'd say with what I managed for a first time it's basically supporting me as much as a bra would, but without the feeling of wearing one. So if I'm running or something like that I still feel them but it's still a huge improvement.

and for me personally, I'd say the sensory issues are a 100% what I struggle with the most. like it would be great if it also looked like i didn't have them but if I got to chose I'd chose feeling comfortable over looking completely flat. especially now when it's starting to become summer and warmer, it was just. such a relief. to not have that extra layer and feel burdened by them.

for the redesign miranda, i put her birthday at march 16th instead of miranda’s canon birthday (leap day). mostly this is just because i was working on my miranda stuff long before her official birthday was revealed and i needed a date to put it on, and my own birthday was just easiest to remember, since i have such bad memory problems.

i also just forgot to post the miranda birthday image on february 28th/march 1st this year because i was busy and depressed and you know how it goes.

I redesigned the EG Mane Six! I tried to go based of the general design ideas of the originals, though I did deviate where I felt it better suited the characters.

Twilight: For Twilight I mostly went for something that could look decent enough to make up for the fact that she has definitely been wearing it three days in a row. That bitch is NOT taking proper hygiene and you know it. I also wanted to play around with the idea of her struggling to walk no matter what, making her own mobility aids (that are albeit low quality and seriously uncomfortable since she was working with what she had) the first night that she was there, and then at some point Rarity reveals that she purchased and bedazzled a much better and comfier set of aides for Twilight. Other than that, not much else to say.

Fluttershy: Tbh, I don’t have much to say about her other than True Stoner Rights and also I wanted to give her a look that would look nice enough to wear to school without risking being picked on, and also isn’t too outside her comfort zone. The look is based on what I thought as a kid was “Parisian fashion.” I imagine that that Fall Formal dress is actually outside her comfort zone, but she didn’t wanna make Rarity come up with a different outfit and honestly the whole thing was outside her comfort zone so it’s whatever.

Rainbow Dash: I HAD TO FIX IT. RDS IS THE ONLY ONE IM CONSIDERING FIXED BECAUSE THIS IS NOT. MY. GIRL!!!! First off, why did they make her a SOCCER PLAYER??? TRACK IS LITERALLY HER THING SHE WAS BUILT FOR SPEED— I made her a track athlete instead. Second off OH MY GOD THESE OUTFITS ARE SOOOO NOT HER STYLE UGH, I KNOW THAT THESE DESIGNS ARE MOSTLY TO GO WITH THE SAME TREND AS MONSTER HIGH BUT TRJEJSHDJDGSISDRAGH THIS IS NOT RAINBOW DASH!! SAME THING WITH HER FALL FORMAL OUTFIT WHAT IS THIS, THIS ISNT WHAT SHED WEAR TO A PARTY!! UGH!! STUPID!!!!!

AJ: A lot of her outfit was me working on pure nostalgia from when I was a kid in the early 2010’s. (Oh yeah I forgor to mention, I tried to change these designs to fit what I thought would work for 2013. Aside from Twilight, she looks more current to look more out of place) I remembered stuff like the ankle/shin high boots with all the different buckles that I remember adoring, the jeans or shorts that’d have all sorts of pretty embroidery on them, etc. etc. I also wanted to try and make her fall formal dress look more casual, which I figured would work since I’m assuming Fall Formal is sort of like the homecoming of this universe. Overall, hers was one of the most fun to design.

Side note, RD and AJ are making fun of each other’s trademark poses in all of the default pngs

Rarity: She was kinda easy, I don’t have a lot to say about her if I’m being honest. I think she was the one that the designers ate with the most. Even her fall formal dress, there’s not much I wanted to change and was actually kinda stumped for a bit on what to do differently.

Pinkie Pie: she is my Maximalist Kandi Scene Furry Queen. When dying her hair she either did it herself or told the person at whatever salon she went to that she wants to “look like an acid trip.” The non binary flag was made one year after EG first appeared but the genderqueer flag was made in 2011 so Pinkie Pie got True Genderqueer Rights. I couldn’t control myself and gave her straps. She stands out like a bleeding thumb. I love her. By far the most fun design. This was so incredibly self indulgent and I couldn’t be happier.
