Despite carefully curating his entire costume to pass as effectively as possible, it still takes Tim several years to realize he's not as cis as he thought.

As it says on the FAQ, I'm still in the process of reading some relevant comics so there isn't much firm plot at this point. I will be taking a pretty fast and loose approach to the timeline of events though lol

Hi! I really realh love your sona/oc, could you tell us more about how his speech bubble works? You said that it's part of her anatomy and that it can bleed, so are there limitations to how much abuse it can endure???

The speech bubbles themselves are very durable since a big majority of Chappie's humour is slapstick and comedic violence! They can withstand a lot of wear and tear so you can rip it, cut it, blow it up, punch it, the whole lot!

She can't really feel any pain at all through the speech bubbles. They still bleed, but it's moreso what the speech bubbles are connected to that could cause her pain. For example, probably don't throw a katana where his face would be.

ALSO! The speech bubbles are technically attached to its larynx, so their biggest weakness would be pulling on their speech bubble real hard. It's like their equivalent of being punched in the jugular; not fun, so not recommended!

(I think 5 and 1 are my favorite of the past episodes, though 6 infected me with the Shroud brainrot something fierce.) I just...ESPECIALLY love diasomnia. :') but there is room in my heart for all of these dweebs! like, who among us is not just as ride-or-die for Adeuce as they are for us.

that said, I don't really follow the other adaptations like the manga (aside from a dip-in just to see the new Yuus) or the novels, though I keep meaning to check them out! I do like seeing the differences between the different forms of media, and how certain things get adapted one way or another! but alas, time/a lack of accessibility stands in our way more often than not. :( someday...someday I will have time to consume all of the media...

Thoughts on the theory that ch4 has the soul implanting a bit of itself in Noelle with the ThornRing? Afaik the theory is supported by the animation (spiderwebbing out through Noelle’s body) and when Susie questions Kris later about what the two were talking about, the empty dialogue box is from Noelle’s perspective (no/muted rain because she is in her house, no response because she didn’t hear the question) and the soul is trying to balance two (one and a half?) vessels

i hope people dont throw tomatoes at me for this one but i think it's really far fetched for us to Literally be implanting part of our soul into her, finger, in the scene where all that's actually happening is we're forcing the thorn into her finger/hand/whatever and all the Red Stuff that shows up afterwards is like, purely symbolic or even just blood at most. in my opinion

even though its a complicated-ish theory i almost think it would be .... too easy???? to simplify it down to that? to say we're like Literally making her our vessel the way we've been controlling kris as one. idk i think keeping it more psychological would be most interesting ultimately. tapping into noelle's innermost desires -- wanting to stand up for herself, wanting the power to grasp what it is she truly craves, wanting to be close to kris again because she misses how things used to be -- all this being twisted and sullied and bent to our OWN desires to the point where originalnoelle is almost unrecognizable, all while we're not actually controlling her as a Fantastical Vessel... is far more interesting i think. we're forcibly digging deep into her psyche to pull out things she doesn't even realize about herself, since she's been drifting through life in a trance just trying to pretend everything's ok and she's happy. it might look like she has it all, but...

anyway. Dont kill me but i dont like the theory all that much lol. I just. Dont think souls can do that. or SHOULD do that even. although the bit later with susie is honestly really spooky and interesting but in the end i dont think it actually has anything to do with noelle herself. the screen turning reddish and the rain completely stopping (iirc) honestly feels like, if anything the soul is just???? growing more powerful or something(idk)?????? or its all just purely visual like with the palette shift in the couch scene. it could represent kris's and the player's growing conflict of interest -> all of the choices being completely blank because kris is just Not having it from us anymore

YAYYYY destiel baby. okay so this is jack . he is somehow the spitting image of castiel in a way that is actually kinda creepy

so basically. LMFAOOOO okay sorry i forgot how ridiculous this plot is. ok so in season 12 lucifer comes back. somehow. i actually don't remember but he's back after being banished for like 7 seasons. okay and he possesses the president. yeah of the united states. who is having an affair with his secretary. and he impregnates her. but he's LUCIFER. so she is pregnant with an evil angel baby. and sam dean and cas find out bc they've been tracking him down or whatever and all the angels find out and they're like WE NEED TO ABORT THAT THING NOWWWWWWW. bc the half human baby of an archangel would be super powerful and it's lucifer's baby so it would be evil too. bad stuff.

so half of the season is literally sam dean and cas chasing this woman (kelly) around trying to convince her to get an angel abortion 😭 but she's like NO my baby will save the world. and she eventually convinces cas of this so he takes her into hiding and the baby is like. communicating with both of them. from the womb. and it forms an attachment with cas (?). crucially cas and kelly have absolutely no romantic connection. like he's jacks dad but he's basically kellys doula. anyways blah blah blah kelly has the baby in the season finale and there's a big fight or something and cas DIES. and yeah this is like the 5th time he's died but this time him and dean were pretty much common law married so it really hits this time. oh and also bc jack is an angel he just ages himself up for funsies.

okay so the first 5 episodes of season 13 are what's known as the "widower arc" bc dean is . you guessed it. acting like a widower who's wife (cas) died in childbirth (jack). and sam and dean take jack in but they also think he's probably maybe evil but maybe not. and dean is super mean to him while also drinking insane amounts of alcohol and literally killing himself on one occasion. like i'm not joking when i say dean is always killing himself. he has a little kit from a previous episode that has medicine in it to stop his heart and he uses it to solve like. a regular monster of the week case. and death herself is like damnnnnn dude your life sucks and you straight up wish you were dead huh? so she lets him live to spite him. anyways dean comes back to life and is like my life sucks and i need a win so fucking bad rn. and then. BAM cas is resurrected. and dean is literally happier than anybody has ever seen him.

and then cas is basically jack's dad for the rest of the series and dean is like a gruff but overall loving step dad most of the time. except for when he tried to shoot him that one time but he didn't end up going through with it and a lot of other stuff happened and god was basically manipulating him into doing it. and he didn't do it bc of #love and #family. and dean and cas have a custody dispute over him with lucifer. and at one point sam and dean's dad comes back for an episode and he's like dean i wish you settled down and had a family. and dean says. and i quote. i have a family. and it's gold bc we get shots like this

where jack looks like their biological son. so yeah. destiel baby. sam is his uncle kinda. bobby refers to jack as "that kid of yours" to dean in the finale in heaven i think but i refuse to watch it. destiel baby!!!!

Paranatural's shift to more of an 'illustrated prose' model is one of the best thing's that's happened to it, I think - not only because it makes it easier on Zack, but because their writing is honestly phenomenonally evocative and funny in ways that can't always come through in a visual medium like a comic.

(I mean, when it does come through in the visual gags, it comes through, don't get me wrong)

Like that? That's hilarious and it took me out with a baseball bat, but it'd be extremely hard to do visually without having the Principal mutter something under her breath and I don't think it'd have the same sudden impact.

And whilst isn't really a comedic line, it's so evocative and creative that the writer in me seethes with jealousy for not having written it myself.

Y'know, people call Goldanna a bitch but if some random guy claiming to be the half-brother I thought died along with my mother during childbirth and who as far as I knew or had any reason to assume grew up in a castle being waited on hand and foot as a noble if not a prince showed up at my house where I was scraping a living as a washerwoman for me and my children and expected me to be happy to see him just because his dad fucked my mom (and in the process caused her death) I'd start throwing things at his head, so I think all in all she's being extraordinarily reasonable. I can understand Alistair being upset that she wasn't happy to see him but she doesn't know him and (supposedly) sharing genes doesn't mean she owes him love or even attention.
