Something I want to build on with vincent at some point is how much the years of being an adventurer has taken a toll on him. he spent so long just being angry at the world but as he gets closer and closer to carteneau he does start recognizing how reckless he's been and the mistakes he's made over the years. friendships (especially with layla and nhea) helping him get a little closer to how he used to be before finally stopping and trying to do better for himself when he loses his leg. and the fact that guilt has really solidified in him to still make him push himself in his healing rather than combat (though sometimes still pushing himself too far) and how the years of treating himself like a weapon have taken a toll on his mind (he has terrible nightmares that only a select few have been able to help him through it)

Hmm. I just don't know.

Twice the same part of my writing here (from this piece to be specific), once (left/first) how I usually write it, and once (right/second) with editing in actual breaks when the speaker (or like, focus) changes.

It's not written smaller, it's just that the one pic is a bit longer. Don't be confused thinking I'm considering to change font size or whatever, that's not the point of this.

Is it really better in the spaced out - second, or right, depending on how the pictures show for you - part? It feels too spaced out for my tastes, but maybe that's just me. If anyone has any thoughts or can tell me to "yes do the spaces", please do so, because I'm feeling very uncertain and I wanna write in a way that's good for ppl to read but I just don't know bc I think I personally prefer it in the closer way.

(that's secretly also a toastmasters-type group for both speaking and audiovisual presentation skills)

Rules: 0. We all play or re-play a game before a meeting. We'll provide a schedule with at least 3 months advance notice. 1. Each meeting bring something to share. Pick something from the list below. 2. Whatever you want to say, make sure to prepare examples. This can be something you captured or clips from a playthrough on yt. 3. If you didn't like the game, please be ready to talk about what you would've done differently. 4. Try to practice sharing beforehand to get an idea of timing to make sure there's time for everyone. 5. Sharing time is also open for questions from the group. 6. We want to go deeper than "is it a good or bad game". We want to share ideas and insight about the work, ask questions and see new perspectives. We try to be curious. 7. We'll provide helpful suggestions for putting together the audiovisual part of your share. (we all want to get more comfortable at putting such things together quickly)

Modding - we all want to be god

We try to choose games that would be worthwhile for group members. Maybe that means "I've always wanted to see what the hubbub is about" or "this is now a cult classic" or "this was the foundation for [Famous Game]" or "this is where this director or writer found their stride" or "this is the epicenter of this kind of game" or "this is a top example of awesome ______" or "there's so much to talk about in this strange game". The game has to matter, it has to be "worth it" for members. We're not here just for broken games or lolz or whatever. Our topmost goal is to have interesting and meaningful discussions and we seek games that support that.
