He wasn't trying to guilt trip her, not intentionally at any rate. He was sincerely worried about her. He was also just worried about how Kit would react and also that he might rush off and try to break her out. Frankly he wasn't sure he'd stop her either. But it was clear she was set in her plan and there wasn't any room for deviations. Though he was happy she had her memory back, he had lots of questions about her past! yet he doubted she'd share...

" Yea well i hope they bugger off to but i have a feeling they won't. GUN doesn't do anything without big plans, and plans for there plans... guess we should get to the check point and see whats happening... though i'm a big fan of wrecking there shit and asking questions later... but Tails is probably right. It's likely what they want... more excuses to try and lock me up... "

He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck and grit his teeth

" And sorry, i didn't mean for it to come off that way... i just wanna help you two. I know you probably don't see it that way. But i've only ever wanted to help you two... so, yea i'll take care of the kid... no matter what you can count on me..."

He caught the little pager shocked these even existed. But suddenly wanting one for himself. Way easier to deal with then losing his phone all the time. What was he on like the 11th one? at some point tails was gonna stop fixing and replacing the damn thing. His eyes turned to belle as she arrived and placed a hand on the back of his neck.

" NOPE! not really ok... apparently i'm not allowed to go rogue and beat GUN's snoz in... so says Surge... but i'm managing. How are things on your end? Better luck then we are having i hope--- then again we did manage to not throw hands so i guess that's progress eh Surge "

Tails was happy they were having any kind of agreement at all. But he could be fairly pragmatic when he had to be. Kit was right they had to meet in the middle, and some concessions had to be made. Still depending on the Nurses limits she might prove useful. Still it was a start and they should get started before long they'd stood around long enough.

" Well i can't disagree with you, some concessions have to be made. Trust me he seems as blunt as you are... he might even appreciate the bluntness ... Let's go talk to the nurse and see what defenses if any they have. Also find out what her limit is. She could prove useful if push comes to shove "

He nodded his head to Kit

" Holograms, i have some nifty decoy orbs on me should be able to get them to project dozens of images with some tweaks. It's enough to throw any attacking forces off there game "

Tails headed inside and looked about the nurses finding the one he was sure was the main dawn. She had a 1 on her uniform, and a head nurse badge. He'd jab his thumb back at the doorway, as he spoke to her.

" So ... my friend and i were talking, this place might have to become a military check point. We need to figure out what defenses you have... mostly we just want to make the place appear like are more people then there are ready to fight. Denture the enemy you know... and i noticed your ability and i thought it was perfect. I guess im wondering what you can do and if you can fight..."

The Mouse girl smiled and lifted up her skirt and pulled out her Wispeon, as did all the other copies at the same time. A little green Wisp floated around her and hummed! as the mice all powered up the Wispeons at once.

" DON'T you worry mr. Tails sir! if worse comes to worst! we can go from pharmacist! to harmacist! Just tell me where you need the girls! and we'll be ready for action! as for defenses! we have blast doors... and Doctor Altiss installed those gatling lasers turrets! "

She pointed above to the large guns mounted on the roof! turned out the kindly Doctor was packing some big guns to defend the infirmary!

" Heh... Harmacist ... i get it...Well, any suggestions Kitsunami... i'm surew we can build on what we got..."

"Yeah, well, not completely. At least not anymore. With my memories back I'm in a weird place right now, almost like I'm a different person again. Another thing I'm going to have to work out in my head." Surge didn't feel like Selene, though couldn't say she was herself completely. The tenrec was certainly more Surge, though didn't feel as angry as she did. Maybe more at peace with herself. It was weird.

"This time they'll have to get past me, and I'll put them in a fucking body cast if they wanna throw down." Surge still wasn't one to hold her punches, and if GUN wants to throw down then she'll throw down. "Let's hope your friend can get them to piss of so I can deal with Drippy." The faster they get this over with the faster she can deal with that whole situation.

"You're worrying is coming off as guilt trip so work on that shit." Surge guessed she assumed Sonic was trying to guilt trip her, though it sounded that way. "I know what I gotta do, and Drippy is going to be upset, though he'll go with you." The tenrec then took off her pager, tossing it at the hedgehog. "Just in case he tries doubting you. Showing him that should keep him calm enough to work with you. And remember, you don't tell a soul where you're going. Not even Tails." The speedster was sure that was a big ask, though was sure once he got to where the small map lead he'd understand why.

Belle could then be seen running up to the two, along with half of all available soldiers inside the base currently. "I hope I came at a good time," the tinkerer said, before looking at Sonic. "Sorry if this sounds bad or insensitive, though are you okay to handle this?" The puppet's slightly subtle way to hint she knew that Sonic was mad. Hopefully he wasn't right now.

"To be blunt and not insensitive he may have to get over it. I'm only thinking worse case scenario with that idea though. Assuming they get GUN to leave peacefully then the idea of a small check point is better for right now. I say we suggest they start finding anything we can use to barricade the doors in case GUN attacks with heavy force." Kitsunami was meeting in the middle ground for right now.

"If you're suggesting we put all the mouse in uniform to trick GUN into thinking there's more active members then their are I suppose that could work. Though we'd need a lot of gear and Wispon for their size to be as convincing as possible. Unless you're implying we use some holograms of some kind." The fennec was sure there would be a lot of ways to trick GUN into thinking there were a lot of soldiers here right now.

"Fine, though you should let him know I'm blunt when I state my points." Kitsunami knew the way he speaks often comes of as rude and insensitive when he is just blunt and monotone. "Though I'm also hoping he has his own security measures to keep out any hostiles if need be." The fennec didn't know much about the doctor, though he seemed to take things seriously.

Mass Displacement Mayhem Scenarios Pt 3

Megatron

• Staggering and off balance as he’s forced to mass displace without warning and then realizes he went past his limits somehow. That he’s only about knee high on you. The shock of it freezing him in place, so he flinches when you grab him and drag him into you. And it’s wholly undignified the way you’re going on about his “widdle” cannon. Why are you talking like that? He’s wracking his processor trying to figure out how this happened, because he’s stuck and can’t mass shift back. Left tiny and vulnerable, though it’s hard to focus on defense when you’re cupping his face in your warm palms, apparently delighted. Venting because he’s much too old for this, he keeps an optic and his cannon aimed at the door as you pull him into your lap to fuss over him. Secretly enjoying the feel of you hugging him as undignified as it is, but please stop talking to him like he’s a sparkling.

Thundercracker

• Has absolutely no idea what just happened, but before he can even try to figure it out, you attack. Had known you were still unhappy about being stolen, but didn’t expect you to lash out- oh, never mind. You just want to pick him up. Little wings flicking fitfully when you press a kiss to his helm and play with his wings with gentle fingers. All while cooing at him. Knows he should be mortified, but he’s enjoying the attention. Fuss over him all you want.

Starscream

• Flies to perch out of reach the instant you made that awful noise and tried to grab him. Glowering as you try to coax him to you. Why are you crooning at him like that? It’s undignified and he’s more worried about how vulnerable you both are right now. No, he’s not coming down. He is absolutely not cute. Trying his best to ignore you and keep an optic on the door ready to attack, because he’s completely stressed out, wings flared and paranoia out of control.

Constructicons

• Scattered when you ran toward them. They have no idea what happened, but to avoid being caught, they have to transform to speed away and you’re laughing hysterically as you chase after them. Bonecrusher gives up first and transforms back. Unresisting as you grab him and sit, grinning over how cute he is. Eventually they all wander over once they realize you’re not attacking. Patiently letting you fuss over all of them, grumbling but secretly eating up the attention. Scavenger just outright climbing into your lap for a hug.

Soundwave

• Hoisting Soundwave up into your arms to save him from his overly excited cassettes, you’re as giddy as they are. Because somehow Soundwave mass displaced smaller than you’ve ever seen. And because you’re holding him, you’re now also being mobbed by cassettes wanting to hold tiny Soundwave. Feeling guilty about it as you cave to their pleas and sit crosslegged with him in your lap, hearing his tired venting as you and his cassettes fuss over how cute he is. Tipping his head back to stare at you. “Traitor,” he grumbles, that serious voice coming from such a tiny frame shattering your own composure as you hug him laughing.

Shockwave

• Antenna back as he gets carried around like a helpless sparkling. Asks you to put him down and you ignore him, and since he’s unwilling to hurt you to get free, he’s just tolerating it. Please stop kissing him on the head, you’re making his processor chaotic. Cute? Him? Illogical. Venting tiredly at you the whole time, but a part of him almost enjoying the attention and how gentle your hands are. That you’re not intimidated by him at this size.

VERY G1 starscream vibes in some places xD... i could practically hear his voice

more of starscream's origin and a bit more of megatron! i like megatron's characterization in skybound so far plus the decepticon cause's. i think skybound's decepticon ideology's gotta be my favorite, it just meshes their violence with their believed righteousness in such a great way.

this issue gives starscream quite a different initial approach to morality than seen in previous continuities (iirc) where here in #14 he is against killing prisoners of war while being a decepticon (often he's with loose morals even before becoming a decepticon).

megatron has the ability to mentally coerce the one wielding him to bend to his will (painfully), which i think is a really cool concept.

this makes starscream's evil directly caused by megatron from prolonged exposure to his influence conditioning/corrupting him. as seen in the mini background panels, over time blasting many Autobots to scrap, starscream grows to enjoy it

i've personally always loved starscream's evil to be completely independent of megatron('s) (as it has been) so i'm a bit conflicted on this aspect of skybound starscream... but i do understand its purpose/role in the story though.

issues #13/#14 run a parallel between then starscream & megatron and present starscream & those humans: both purport to Starscream they want to help him, but in reality they just want to use him for their own benefit. with that then story running parallel to the present one, starscream's dialogue about those humans also reflects upon how he felt under megatron's control

megatron forcing starscream to wield him definitely felt like it was expounding upon a question one might have had watching G1 — "why would megatron let someone who openly covets his position wield him?" of course, skybound isn't g1 and takes the idea and angle quite differently than the show did. with this it also supplies the reason of why starscream resents megatron and wants to overthrow and kill him.

and of G1, the Decepticons siding with starscream are ones who have sided with him once in the cartoon — the Combaticons in Starscream's Brigade and Astrotrain in Triple Takeover (and of course, Astrotrain was also the one to crown Starscream in the 1986 movie).

with Soundwave having the Constructicons and Starscream the Combaticons, a cool fight between Devastator and Bruticus is sure to ensue (vol 3 [collects #13-#18 + the story from the 2024 special] is called "Combiner Chaos" anyway)

i will be delighted to see soundwave and his decepticons vs starscream and his decepticons.

soundwave looks to be a megatron loyalist in this continuity and shares a bit of his sentiments (a bit below).

neat how then starscream and present thundercracker both had objections to the treatment of prisoners of war.

not the first time there's been a similarity between them, here's panels (#1 & #8) that parallel each other:

and how they differ:

not 1:1, but megatron's words to starscream reminded me of soundwave's to thundercracker — a subordinate's objection met with a reminder of their place and that their objection is irrelevant to their superior.

also worth noting, soundwave keeps thundercracker by his side despite his continual disagreements with how things are going, which is similar to megatron keeping starscream (who resents him) by his side.

i'd guess these similarities serve to build up to thundercracker possibly eventually actively opposing soundwave (as opposed to just going along with it) — here in the #15 preview he gives the humans warning to flee before blasting the building

now, knowing megatron's gunmode has the ability to mentally coerce the wielder to bend to his will... looks like this is what's happening with optimus wearing megatron's cannon arm!! xD. "megatron's cannon arm is influencing prime" has been built up and noticed, but it's nice to have megatron's ability now explicitly shown.

In #5 Starscream comments on Optimus having Megatron's cannon arm, and Optimus has a bit to say to him before blasting him with it.

Many noticed the parallel between Megatron & Optimus's fight in the Energon Universe Special 2024 and Optimus & Shockwave's in #12 as well as his tinged eye color.

Now with #14 we can also see a a similar thing that happened to Optimus happen to Starscream — Megatron's influence practically forcing their hand, going against what they wanted. Note the green-yellow background gradient suggesting Megatron's mental coercion in Starscream's panels, and in Optimus's panels (above) when his eyes are tinged there's yellow or yellow-green used in the background.

Headcanons I like to think about

1. Upon being guilted, for anything mind you, Optimus will flinch back and his windshield wipers will make that high pitched ‘eee’ noise.

2. Soundwave is a mixture of G1 and Prime. I like to think he has two alts, his boombox and a small drone.

3. Soundwave purposely fucks with how grounders perceive him. He is a cryptid, he does cryptid things. So what if he’s walking around on all fours, don’t question him.

4. Seekers adore strange shit, because of this they all find Soundwave delightful.

5. One day while playing with Soundwave, Skywarp flew up out of reach with the whole “haha you can’t get me” thing only to watch in horror when Soundwave transformed into his drone alt mode and flew straight up vertically. Skywarp then proceeded to cower behind Starscream and Thundercracker out of fear for the next three cycles. Imagine that dumb fucking horror piano noise where someone is getting chased in a hall way, you know the Zelda one.

6. Megatron is very unsettled by Soundwave, he tries not to show it but occasionally his plating shivering gives him away.

7. Every month or so if things are getting boring, the high guard(minus Starscream) will release a fuck ton of scraplets onto the ship and watch in pure delight as the seekers lose their absolute shit over it and go wild as they try to snatch up as many as possible for their eager asses.

8. Ratchet and Skywarp totally knew each other during Ratchet’s party ambulance days.

The Doorless Cage - Seekers x reader (2)

🌵 Tranformers (Post-Apocalyptic AU).

🌵 The Decepticons have conquered Earth, leaving humanity in ruins.

🌵I'll try this for a bit. Remember: I'm not very good at it 👀.

Skywarp had always found patrols to be mind-numbingly dull. The ruined city sprawled out before him, a desolate wasteland devoid of life—exactly as they wanted it. They’d swept through this place more times than he could count, tearing down every last sign of resistance, yet still, Megatron insisted they make rounds, “in case anything survived.”

But Skywarp knew better. The humans were all but extinct, their brief, flickering rebellion snuffed out, leaving him, Thundercracker, and Starscream wandering empty streets with only the wind and rubble for company. Thundercracker trudged along somewhere behind him, too lost in thought to complain as he usually did. And Starscream was further ahead, stalking through the ruins with his optics cold and sharp.

Skywarp sighed, glancing down a dark alley, then at a broken tower across the street. His teleportation circuits hummed with potential energy, itching to be used for anything other than walking these streets. Part of him wanted to zap right back to base and tell Thundercracker and Starscream he’d “scouted” the rest of the city, but he knew that would only bring more boredom. And, of course, Starscream would berate him for leaving his post, and Skywarp wasn’t in the mood for another lecture from his second-in-command.

Then, he heard it—a faint, barely-there sound, muffled and distant, but unmistakable.

Human.

It was like catching the scent of prey on the wind, and for a moment, Skywarp’s optics brightened with excitement. He slowed his steps, creeping closer to the sound’s source—a half-fallen building just across the street. A grin spread across his face, and his boredom evaporated. Maybe there was a human left to torment after all. With a bit of luck, he could finally have some fun.

Skywarp stopped just outside the building, letting his heavy footsteps echo against the cracked walls, then pausing as if he were about to enter. He listened for any reaction from inside, and sure enough, he heard a frantic rustling, followed by absolute silence. They knew he was there, and they were hiding.

Perfect.

With exaggerated slowness, he moved a few steps forward, then stopped again, allowing the suspense to build. He could only imagine the terror that must be coursing through the human’s veins, the way they’d be shrinking into the shadows, praying he wouldn’t find them.

But Skywarp was done playing subtle.

With a resounding clang, he struck the wall, letting his servo drive through the structure and tear the roof off with a violent pull. Dust and debris flew into the air, and Skywarp’s optics zeroed in on the small figure crouched below, eyes wide with terror. The human screamed, and he grinned, reveling in the sound.

“Well, well, what do we have here?” he drawled, his optics gleaming. He reached down, massive fingers wrapped around the human body with brutal force. He lifted them off the ground, letting them wriggle in his grip as he gave them a rough squeeze, just enough to remind them of their fragility.

The human stilled, frozen in fear, and Skywarp chuckled, drawing them closer until they were at optic level.

“Looks like someone’s been playing hide-and-seek,” he sneered. “Too bad for you—I always win, mouse."

Skywarp’s optic gleamed with cruel delight as he brought the tiny human up to his face, studying them with the kind of mocking curiosity one might show an insect caught in a jar. His grip was loose but deliberate, giving them enough room to wriggle and squirm, knowing that any attempt to break free was hopeless.

He tilted his hand back, causing the human to slip toward the edge of his fingers, a startled gasp escaping them as they scrambled to find a hold. Just as they were about to slip, he flattened his palm, catching them with a satisfied chuckle.

“Aw, did you think you’d fall?” he sneered, lifting them to eye level. He twisted his wrist so they dangled precariously, just far enough from his fingers that they’d have to struggle to keep their balance. The sheer terror in their eyes only amused him further, and he leaned in close, his voice a low, mocking whisper.

“Oh, don’t look so scared. I won't drop you......at least not now." He loosened his grip again, watching with twisted glee as they gripped his metal fingers in desperation, their breaths coming fast and shallow.

Skywarp found himself thoroughly entertained by the way they trembled, the faint spark of defiance in their eyes already waning as he continued his taunts. He nudged them with his thumb, pressing them back against his palm, ignoring their gasp of pain as he applied a bit more pressure.

As he toyed with his new prize, he heard familiar footsteps approaching from behind. He glanced over his shoulder, just as Starscream and Thundercracker appeared around the corner.

“What are you doing, Skywarp?” Starscream’s voice was dripping with annoyance as he stalked up to them. His red optics narrowed, taking in the sight of the human in Skywarp’s grip. “I thought we were on patrol, not indulging your ridiculous whims.”

Skywarp merely smirked, holding up the human for them to see. “Oh, lighten up, Starscream. Look what I found—a little survivor. Thought we’d gotten rid of all of them, but I guess there’s still a few stragglers.”

Starscream’s gaze shifted to the trembling human,his face wrinkled. He lifted his arm, aiming his null ray at them. “Then let’s finish the job. I don’t have time for your games.”

Skywarp rolled his optics, drawing the human back just out of range of Starscream’s weapon. “Where’s the fun in that? The city’s already dead, so what’s one little human running around? Think of it as entertainment. It’ll give us something to do.”

Starscream scoffed, crossing his arms. “An amusement? It’s a disgusting organic.”

Skywarp shrugged, his grip tightening on the human to keep them still. “Maybe, but it's better than walking around looking for nothing. Besides, it’s got a decent scream.”

Thundercracker sighed, casting a skeptical glance at the human. “Megatron’s not gonna be happy if he finds out we’re keeping a pet. Besides, I thought you hated organics.”

“Eh, this one’s different,” Skywarp glancing back at the human, who was clinging to his fingers, staring at him with a mixture of horror and disbelief. “I mean, look at them. They’re pathetic. If they try anything, I can just…squeeze.” He gave the human a light, taunting squeeze, chuckling as their face paled.

“Besides, if they become a problem, we can always crush them later. But for now, let’s see if they can last. It’ll be like…a game.” Skywarp added, a gleam of mischief in his optics.

Thundercracker’s optics narrowed, clearly unimpressed by Skywarp’s twisted idea of amusement. “A game?” he muttered, shaking his head. “You’re playing with scraps from a dead world.” His voice held a hint of disdain, but under it lay a reluctant curiosity. “It’s just going to run, hide, and scream.”

Skywarp shrugged, still grinning as he dangled the human, watching them squirm. “Exactly! That’s what makes it fun, Thundercracker. It’s like… a pet with spirit,” he taunted, giving the human another playful shake. “Or at least, until they break. They’ve got nothing left to lose, right?” He tilted his head, eyeing the human’s wide, terrified eyes with twisted fascination. “Why not see how long they’ll last?”

Starscream rolled his optics. “Skywarp, if you’re this bored, maybe I should assign you extra patrols.” He sneered, his voice dripping with sarcasm

"Hey!"

“But since you insist on this ridiculous game, I suppose it could be… mildly interesting to see just how long this one lasts.” He shot a disdainful look at the human. “Seeing it fall apart was quite a sight to behold.”

Thundercracker snorted “Since when did you get interested in playing with organic matter?” he muttered, though he didn’t move to stop Skywarp. “They’re just a reminder of what this place used to be—a waste.”

Starscream huffed, optics narrowing as he scoffed at Thundercracker's objections. "Shut up! I never did." He replied. In a moment of consideration, he spoke up. "And is that a waste? Think of it as… a way to pass the time. After all, the planet’s dead. Might as well use the leftovers.”

Thundercracker sighed, looking away. “Fine, but don’t expect me to take part in this.” But there was still a glimmer of curiosity in his optics—if unwilling to admit it—to see how long this human might survive under their “care.”

Skywarp chuckled, clearly pleased with his trinemates’ grudging acceptance. “See? It’ll be good for morale.” He leaned closer to the human, his voice dropping to a mocking whisper. “Congratulations—you get to stay alive… for now. Better keep us entertained, though, or we’ll get bored.”

“Let’s go,” Starscream ordered, turning to walk ahead. “If we linger, Megatron will think we’re slacking off.”

As the three Seekers turned to leave, the human still firmly in Skywarp’s grip, Starscream’s voice cut through the quiet. “Remember, Skywarp: this is your little ‘pet.’ If they become a nuisance, it’s on you to clean up the mess.” But his smirk revealed that he, too, was already looking forward to the twisted amusement their new “pet” might bring.

YEAH I think he, frankly, had some awful nonconsensual stuff happen to him as a gladiator and slave, and as a result, has VERY fucked up views about domination and power. I think he would absolutely break down if he let anyone dominate him. I think it would be fucking awful and incredibly traumatic for him. I also think if he could work through that, he might actually find it rewarding. I also also think he would NEVER EVER EVER WORK THROUGH THAT, and that is sooooo fun and delightful to me :3

I lowkey think Soundwave is the one bot he might have sex with where it was about mutual affection rather than him trying to 'prove his strength' or dominate a potential threat and show that he's always (metaphorically) on top. This amuses me, as I don't particularly ship them - but I know it in my heart to be true!

I totally vibe with Megatron/trine too, because I love mess and they are made of it. Poor mech would have his hands full! I think Thundercracker would not-so-secretly be his favourite. Skywarp would find this hilarious, and Starscream would be FURIOUS, which Skywarp would find even more hilarious.

.....Also Tarn WISHES Megatron would fuck him but he makes Megatron reeeeeeeeeeeally uncomfortable so he always finds an excuse to vacate the room whenever Tarn attempts to flirt. Honestly, can you blame him?

Starscream x Reader

• Rolling lazily through the clouds, his attention divided between Thundercracker and Skywarp following in his wake and you, he banks too sharply when Skywarp cuts near. “Where are we even going?” Skywarp demands, sullen and bored.

• “We’re on patrol,” he growls back, bristling at the question to his authority. And patrol is a broad term. One with some leeway. While they typically only monitored the airspace around the base, he wanted to range further today. His thoughts keep circling back to you.

• That look on your face when you’d thanked him. It’s been there in the back of his processor all rotation. That smile that was his alone. Distracting him from his duties. Because there are human houses everywhere. Full of strange human things that you might like. That might make you smile for him again.

• He drops from the skies, turbines screaming and after only a small hesitation, the rest of his trine follows. Swooping down on a small house out in the woods away from the towns and cities. Isolated.

• Fisting the hem of your ugly, granny dress, you almost wish you had a mirror just so you can see how bad it is. It’s shapeless, covered in floral print and covers you from the neck to your ankles. But it’s still better than being naked. Marginally better anyway. When the door opens, you turn around smiling. Because he likes it when you do, but also because you want to, you realize. You look forward to seeing him and when has that happened?

• Hands cupped together, his wings flick when he find you on his desk. Waiting for him. Happy to see him. Something eases inside him as he holds down his hands and waits. “You were gone longer today,” you say as you come to him, eyes shifting from his hands to his optics. Worried about him? He taps the side of his hands on the desk.

• “Not even a little curious?” He asks you, tone low and almost teasing. He obviously has something in his hands, but this is new. A game, maybe? You reach up, gripping one servo with both hands and trying to pry it loose so you can see what he has. Apparently that’s the reaction he wants, he chuckles and vents, the warm air stirring your hair. “Don’t want it?” He’s messing with you. Playing. It’s so out of character you’re momentarily surprised, your heart speeding because he’s smiling indulgently down at you and it’s so unlike him. Has he ever really smiled? Not a grin or a smirk, but something real?

• For a moment you hesitate, then you pout up at him and his resolve crumbles. Opening his hands, he spreads out the pile of human things he’s found for you. Waiting for that delighted smile. For the thank you. But you’re silent, reaching and pulling something from the pile. He’s brought you soft things, colorful things. It’s a plush little fake animal you choose, your little hands trembling as you smooth your fingertips over its head from its button nose to an ear. Your shoulders hunch, fingers tightening on the gift, but not smiling. Not happy and his wings begin to tremble, that tightly leashed anger building through him. “No one was home, right?” You ask, voice breaking.

Once he’s far enough, he demagnetises his symbol and flips it around (careful not to look too hard at his chest), the purple face of Megatronus greeting him when he sticks it back on.

It’s an open secret, really. Despite some grumbles and vocal protests from Prowl, Optimus made the decision that ‘B-127 should not have to choose between his friends; he may come and go as he pleases, he is an Autobot at spark.’

Really, it’s nepotism at it’s finest. Or, at least, that’s what Starscream says behind his back in a stage whisper.

He practices his smile.

The Decepticon base proper is located in Kaon, but there’s a smaller satellite one that’s not too far. Shockwave was very insistent about the location remaining a secret and B pinky promised! He uses his field to do a perimeter check like he was taught, making sure he’s not being watched or followed before he transforms again and heads towards their base.

Calling it a war is silly, in B’s opinion, despite what the older members of the High guard wanted. It’s a bunch of skirmishes and squabbles more akin to newbuilds arguing over who gets what flavour of energon than anything serious. Nobody died, even though his knife hands might’ve cut one or two people up.

(Okay, a lot, but in his defence, there’s a surprising amount of mechs on both sides who just… target him? It used to be scary, but it’s just dipped into annoying.)

Knife hands! He loved those things. He adds it to his mental happy box for the day, tucking the files between Optimus’ laugh and winning a round of Wreckers: Kingdom Come just before he fell into recharge. 

Long drives aren’t the worst. It’s not even a long drive, really, long is the journey between Iacon and Kaon, that’s the worst. Still, out here, it’s just him and the unpaved ground beneath his tyres. It’s quiet. Not silent, but quiet. And quiet is fine, but…

With a delighted giggle, he activates his new radio, turning it to the rock channel. Blaster was good at what he does, and Soundwave’s modifications made it even better.

The drive is peppy and filled with good music and he’s approaching the base before he realises it. He crests the hill overlooking it, letting out a whoop as he gets to coast down, his favourite part. 

B transforms midway down, landing on his pedes as he slides across the ground. 

“You’ve got better at that,” Megatron says, already standing at the bottom. His smile is amused, watching as B claps with excitement. “Please go calm the twins, Starscream shut them in a storage locker somewhere.”

“Oh, scrap,” is B’s intelligent response, giving a quick wave to Megatron as he enters the base to look for the twins. Knowing Starscream, he probably put them somewhere far back…

He stops, squeezing his eyes shut and spreading his field out. It’s harder to focus on specifics, gently brushing over the mechs in the base as their fields respond. Ideally, he’d be able to do it without detection, but little steps! Thundercracker sends him a little ‘hello’ along with Skywarp’s giddy ‘welcome!!’ and though they’re so nice to hear from, it’s not quite who he wants…

There.

Rumble and Frenzy buzz with an energy that is very distinctly, well, Rumble and Frenzy. Despite being around for era of the Thirteen, they’re still just as hyper as newbuilds in a sweets store.

See! Happiness! Nothing could ever go wrong here...

Transformers G1

Now there are four of them!!

Astrotrain and blitzwing, blitzwing and astrotrain the local triplechangers in the decepticon faction, had been acting weird or at least weirder than normal.

It's not until a few days later than the duo bring in two new recluits, a pair of twins that look like they would fit better with the autscum that the decepticons, it isn't until a few months of them being in the decepticon intel department that some cons realize why the triple changers brought them, or at least it's their theories.

Carrying, both twins are carrying, and either they are already months in or that just a big sparkligs, the first theory is brought down by the constructicons who asure seeing blitzwing making out with the younger twin in a not so empty hall, the second theory is respalded by thundercracker and skywarp who assure seeing cliffjumper kissing with astrotrain in the groundbridge when they though no one was around to see them.

Megatron decides to wait till the emergence day to see if the triplechangers are the actual sires or if those two just found the minicon twins hot and decides to be step sires.

A few months later and yes they are in facts the sires and the sparkligs are theirs, both had mechs,one year in and when the sparklings are suposed to transform into their alt modes for the first time and you got a little train and a tank doing wheels all around the decepticon base until blitz jr decides he wants soundwave's visor and transform into a jet and goes and almost bodyslams soundwave and his cousing follows already transformed into a spaceship.

Megatron is delighted, they already had an advantage with blitzwing and astrotrain and now with the triplechangers sparklings they will be unstopabble (the sparklings still need to grow, but eh let the old man dream)
