Went tidepooling and found some critters!

Periwinkles are easily the most common animals there. They cover the rocks so much you can't tell what's rock and what's snail.

Jeez, cant two snails have their snail sex (snex) in peace without someone showing up to bother them?

I don't know what this is. It was covered in slime. Maybe an egg mass, sponge, or some kind of colonial animal.

I also don't know what these are. They were squishy so I was thinking maybe an egg mass or retracted anemones

This lad was missing both claws and a leg. He was presumably hiding in the kelp while waiting for them to regrow

TIDEPOOL!!! HEY GIRL

She is now Aurora’s first mate :) and most trusted companion!! Before working w/ Aurora she did lots of espionage work, gaining information for the highest bidder. The reason she works for Aurora now is bc she got payed a pretty penny just to know her unfiltered thoughts on the Skylanders, which intrigued her sm she ended up sticking around

hope you dont mind the poke about your mermaid au, but i was wondering about carlos! does he tease jill (within reason), are they friends, whats his deal there? (art not required, genuinely want to know your thoughts)

I don't mind at ALL! I love mermaid asks!! (Also too late you're getting art, it was so cute I couldn't resist.) Jill is funny. Jill, being the matriarch of their little pod, is pretty damn stubborn and set in focusing on everyone else- especially with Leon being a dumbass and letting a human court him. She's a little unaware of the fact that both Chris and Carlos are courting her. Carlos, for his part, really does love to spend time with her! They'll spend time hanging out in tidepools, and he often follows her around. They are quite close, even if she's oblivious- he'll keep trying until she gets it! 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟
