The Skull Dilemma

Dr. Solomon was in his study when the goblin came in. The creature had mossy, green fur and was wearing a human skull like a hermit crab wearing a shell. "Hello, Prong. What can I do for you?"

Prong bowed. "I'm feelin' a mite guilty about me new home, Doc." "Goblins feel guilt?"

"We don't, mostly," Prong said. "But the ghost attached to this skull keeps whinging on about me robbin' his grave. Could you be a dear and throw him in one o' yer supernatural prisons?"

Dr. Solomon laughed. "Making you feel bad isn't a crime."

"Yes," the goblin nodded, "but ye olde Spirit Treaty o' 1666 bans all manner of hauntings, ghostly infestations, possessions, and the like."

He sighed. "Except in cases of disturbed or displaced remains, which of course this is." He stood, brushing the wrinkles from his coat. "What is the ghost's name?"

"If I recall the headstone correctly, I believe the feller was called Rip."

"That's not… Never mind." He waved his hand. A shadow appeared, black with pinpoints of light like a night sky. "Spirit, what is your name?"

"Ellis."

"How can I help you rest?"

"Tell this creature to return my bones!"

Prong glowered. "No goblin would ever be so cowardly as to surrender his home! It's a disgrace! It would dishonor my goblinny ancestors! And besides, I already decorated."

"Can I offer you a new home?" Dr. Solomon asked. He gestured to the mystical artifacts lining his study. "You are free to haunt any of these, if you like."

"Actually, I miss dancing at parties," Ellis said. "Do you have any fancy clothes I could haunt?"

He nodded. "I suppose I could spare a suit, or a tailcoat."

"Actually... I was never brave enough to dress how I liked when I was alive." He looked away. "Could I haunt a gown?"

Dr. Solomon smiled. "I think that could be arranged."

Kayde is known for talking anyone's ear off if he's given the opportunity. His friendly demeanor and extroverted personality makes him quite popular with most people. Bryn however found this side of him to be incredibly annoying at first, but she slowly grew to enjoy his lengthy stories of his adventures as a knight of the royal court and beyond.

She would never admit it at first, but as time went on, her feelings for him grew, full on crushing on him. Although this deeply conflicted with her. Not only were fairies and humans great enemies during this time, but it was such a taboo concept to even entertain. Fairies and humans could never be romantic toward each other. How could that even work?

But little did Bryn know, Kayde was also starting to fall for her too.

After The Funeral

Most necromancers busied themselves raising undead armies to take over kingdoms. Those with less grandiose ambitions would busy themselves bringing back the dinosaurs to destroy their enemies. However, Tony was different. He was an outlier, the oddest of the oddballs. He didn't view the dead as servants or weapons. He knew what the dead really were: stories.

Whenever someone died, Tony made sure they could tell their story one last time. This would be their life's grand finale. This retelling would scatter their life across the sky like the last fireworks of summer. Those they left behind would remember them forever.

He ran a funeral home that was also a nightclub. After every funeral, the families would be invited back for the evening's entertainment. Ravens would drop black postcards on their doorsteps with a message written in glowing firefly ink. "Come watch your late loved ones reenact highlights from their lives. Join them for their last night on earth, as they sing and dance in The Corpse Cabaret!"

We are finally playing Clair Obscur 👩‍🎨 I've already cried my eyes out five times, the acting is excellent, the themes immaculate, great writing, aesthetically gorgeous. It feels tailor made to our taste, there is so much to dig into, there is so much meaning to everything

Just spent the past some amount of hours putting all dimension 20 episodes (only including episodes where they are actively playing DnD) into an alphabetical list for the worst d20 watching experience possible!!!!

It starts with the first episode of acofaf and ends with the last episode of acofaf so maybe it's just the worst way to watch acofaf.

Feels good to draw these 2 yuppies again. I decided to tweak their designs a bit, which might be a work in progress still. The story as well, might even put that on the back burner. Dragging my friends into my little guy obsession
