The man on the radio persists with his whereabouts being unknown (I suspect he's off in the wilds with the lost postman again) whilst the stand in lady on the radio says the show must go on. Weatherwise the seaweed is feeling dry so fingers crossed this ain't a false reading. The traffic lady rootless in and out with talk of tailbacks ... and autocorrect continues to accept my bad typing.
Today's groaner: I woke up this morning to find all my books and knick knacks scattered all over the floor ... I have only my shelf to blame. ;-D badoom tish ... here all week!!
Tip trip today! No really, truly ... the seaweed being dry today is the day! No ifs, buts or maybe I'll go next week spluttering ... the big shed has to be emptied before I find cars queueing up with trailers full of recycling cos they heard a new dump had opened its doors. ;-)
I'll leave you with a seemingly large and floating blackberry whilst I throw back a little more coffee before heading out to the car ...

Depot Agent Furze
When I googled what “Furze” was, the result I got was this shrubby yellow flower native to Western Europe & Africa. Symbolic of the sun, & a fire-climax plant (meaning it adapted to actually spread its seeds in wildfires)! 🌼
It felt only natural to give her the Sunny Day Maractus in their & Cloud’s roster, along with a Crustle & Simisear - probably a quick-thinking, adaptive Battler, too! ☀️🌵🔥
More info:
Likes to spend time in the Desert Resort off hours. >u<
Joined the Battle Subway as young as she could (16 in BW, making her about Ansy’s age)
Coming from a dusty airport town, Furze is well-versed in all the highlights & features of the various towns / cities in Unova. Thought about being a flight attendant until they took a life-changing train trip with their family as a little child.
Would often spar Emmet & the more Battle-ready staff in friendly matches when idle. ^0^
(PS: just to be clear, each Depot Agent have standard operating procedures & duties - their listed roles are just their something extra / specialty they do as well.)

Media Preservation Monday
Yeah, yeah, as of this original post it's actually only Wednesday but hey, take this as a sign to take some initiative, and keep to it each Monday at minimum if you're actively writing!
What's Media Preservation Monday, you may ask?
MPM is your reminder to back up your writing at least three ways at least once a week or whenever you make major changes to your document(s).
Here's some incredibly easy ways to back up your writing:
One your Master Document(s), put a date on the file name, and every day you make changes, "Save As" the Document and change the date. Do this every time or day you make major changes.
Example: You start writing your Novella November Story on November 1st.
You name your master document "Novnov Project 11-01-2024"
The next day, you write some more, and at the end of your writing session, you go to save your document, and instead of simply hitting "Save" you choose "Save As" and save the new copy of the Document as "Novnov Project 11-02-2024".
You now have two copies of your project, and if you keep this up throughout the whole month, you will have a live snapshot of your writing progress.
Each day or after each major writing session, open up the folder containing your document, and back it up. The Easiest and simplest way to do this is to simply email it to yourself, but you can also create multiple backups by:
Save a copy of your dated Master Document(s) to different locations on your Hard-drive, to an external hard-drive, to a thumbdrive, etc.
If you're writing offline on a writing program like Libreoffice, upload a copy of your Master Document(s) to your preffered Cloud-based Writing Program of your choice.
Vice Versa: if you write on a Cloud-based writing program, download it to various offline-based locations.
Download the base document as well as download it as various ebook formats and send them to your ebook library on your phone or kindle or nook or reading app.
Make a personal discord server and upload the document/epub form of your Master Document(s) there [this is also a good way of making a kind of personal journal / diary etc]
Whatever you do, do not be complacent and assume nothing can happen to your writing. Back it up. Preserve it.
Don't have all of your hard work go down the drain because of one tiny unforeseen accident.
When it comes time to clean up your hardrive, always assume you don't have it backed up. Before deleting anything always take the time to copy it over to another physical drive or a cloud drive.

Tips for writing London as a setting if you've never been there
London's a popular place to set a story! It's often imagined as sexy, cool, and suave. Whilst this is sometimes true, the thing that it predominantly is, is absolutely and entirely chaotic! So here are some aspects that you may not know about:
-Public transport is absolutely crucial to the infrastructure! Few people drive in London because of how well connected it is, and bus stops and train stations are often used as meeting points or details in directions.
-There's a LOT of crime, like, a lot. All cities have it, but London has a lot of variety. Stabbings are incredibly common (to the extent where it becomes a bit of a joke), almost everyone has a story where they've found or seen a dead body, and there are many money laundering/drug den fronts under the guise of highstreet shops (they're not well hidden).
-Despite it's chaos there's a strong code of etiquette most people hold themselves too. Some are actual rules (stand on the right side of escalators, don't queue jump) but some are simply social expectations (don't stop in the middle of the pavement, keep your bags close to your body, don't take up multiple seats.)
-A lot of tourists to the city are COMPLETELY FERAL and widely hated. They'll stand in the middle of the road, block up bridges, swing around cameras and selfie sticks in busy places, and completely ignore the social standards of polite society. People Do Not Like This. (also American tourists have a tendancy to just randomly start conversation with people? It's a bit weird and generally not done but it's not strictly a bad thing.)
-Rush hour is INSANE. We're talking almost static traffic, trains so packed that you're pressed into people on every side, buses that are so full they can't stop to let more people on. Some days it's better some days it's worse, but if you can avoid travelling at those times YOU DO.
-There are a lot of scam artists on the streets. Most major cities have these, they suck, they're aggressive, and they'll take your money! Some give you flowers and then force you to pay, some take photos of you and boost up the price to get them, there's always new ones, they're relentless, and you've gotta tell them to fuck off.
-Black cabs are not at all popular for normal people! They cater to tourists, rich people, and old people. They're great, the cab drivers are hard working and very knowledgeable, but they're also very expensive. Awful as it is, uber's cheaper if you're desperate, but buses go everywhere so it's just not really worth it.

Audrey Grace needed a quick disguise so I put her in a new outfit and wig! 🤫...But it's also just an excuse to draw her with green hair, since that's the colour she'd want if she ever had to change it. ^.^ I've also included a few other colour variations here since I had to do a LOT of trial and error...she probably has those other colours at home!

looked at some reports from my company credit card (wanted to check how much I paid at cane's. shush) and it's just such a strange thought, seeing the cost and what was more expensive:
uber from the chicago office to o'hare airport: $85
flight from poland to london: $84

got my friend to start isat and it’s VERY funny to me how much he hates Loop right off the bat. very siffrin “oh this fucker is ANNOYING. i know you have useful info but PLEASE stop talking forever actually” initial reaction to their whole vibe. “hating them with a smile on my face. but hating them.”
he said a half-joking theory that i wish i had retained better but it started with “loop was a hacker who lost the game so many times they rage quit and modded themself in” which was so accurate i stopped processing the rest of what he said

Rating Hazbin Hotel characters by how long I think it took them to figure out their new forms
Charlie- was literally born in hell, developed her fine motor skills accordingly
Mimzy- no problems whatsoever
Cherri Bomb- little to no issues, but having only one eye was kinda weird
Niffty- her worst issue was being so much shorter than she was before, but got over that pretty quickly
Vaggie- took her a while to get used to having no depth perception
Alastor- his first 5 minutes in hell involved him fighting his own legs, anyone that saw him stumble/trip would be instantly killed
Angel Dust- didn’t realize his extra arms were retractable, was pissed that he didn’t figure it out sooner
Vox- whenever he updates his appearance, it takes him a day or so to get used to the changes, has overestimated his ability to fit his head through gaps on multiple occasions
Valentino- still in denial about his terrible eyesight, loved that he could use his wings like a big fancy coat/cape
Husk- understood that cat part pretty quickly, had no clue what he was doing with his wings and often hit them against people/objects
Sir Pentious- took forever for him to figure out how one moves when they don’t have any legs, face planted soooo many times
