u know it's such a shame that kingsman universe only focuses on eggsy and harry (and a merlin a little) 'CAUSE there are such a huge amount of stories that could be told and questions to be answered (and yeah i know that its normal in not giving any plot or development to bg charachters but why they 've added interesting details IT tRiGGerS QuEsTiOns... *sighs*)

SO - some of my thoughts and (obvious) questions about k*ngsmn.. (i just 'd really like to see that....)

- THAT particular moment from the very beginning of the film - when lee dies - i damn want to know what effect it had on james (maybe even this outstanding (in every way) suit is needed for him to prove himself that he 's damn awesome and deserving the lancelot title??)

- harry in the film was referring to james as a friend and aaaand??? what james was like with all of the others (arthur and percy especially) in that 17 years? sounds like a good question

- it would be really cool to see some perci-roxy interaction u know... 😟

- IT ALSO WOULD BE REALLY cool to see perci actually talking

- that look harry and percival exchange at the end of the all-kingsman we-will-miss-lancey-james-sorely meeting IT MEANT SMTH it should 've.....

- when roxy becomes a kingsman agent she becomes the only female agent... that's very very very interesting--

- also the arthur moment. so chester dies and the main questions is how they choose a successor 😐

- and im very much interested how all the kingsmen 've dealt with the consequences of the v-day situation (the whole world was fighting so there should be hundreds of thousands dead...)... AND much more importantly: where the hell have the statesmen been during all of this valentine connected shit (yeah in the second film they 're epic but they 're kinda spies too so they shoul 've seen some situation going all damn over the world (celebrities disappering moment...) its their job...) *but lets just put this question to the box-for-the-stupid-questions-we-ll-never-get-an-answer-for where already question about the stupidity of james's death lies*

- there should be more respect for merlin in films (he 's like the big brain of the idiots - they 'd literally be weak without him) - i mean he wasnt killed in the second film 'cause he 's not treated like an agent by kngsmn... (and pls give him a normal office he 's a genius tech-wizard - this situation with him basically working on this tube-train-station is strange to me...)

- and back to my obsession: this contrast of perci wearing strictly super-classical black suit (other agents may wear more gray or more with-patterns suits??) while james 's wearing this tan-sandlike-even-goldish-a-little color ?? it probably has a huge meaning behind it

and still:

- why there can't fucking be two lancelots (his death is a trauma i can do nothing about it..)

*still silently thinks about that scene with james using that guy as a shield while killing them all by shooting off al damn bullets**

aHhh okay so the discussions of Titan!Megatron on @callsign-relic's blog have fully. FULLY taken over my brain and ive been drawing stuff for it for like the last few days nonstop

the tl;dr of this is AU is pretty much "what if Megatron got turned into a titan/cityformer as a form of penance/imprisonment and now roams the empty wasteland of Cybertron forever" plus "IDW Megatron has really fucked up internals so... what if that, but as a City?"

and of course since he's a Titan, that also means he has a cityspeaker... or three. One per sub-AU thing. Theres 3 options. 3 flavours of AU.

Hi. My battery is running out once again so design and art notes get chucked here instead of an image.

The cuffs and collar are hardwired into Megatron, so I made the lights the same colour as his biolights!

I imagine that on the tops of his shoulders there are solar panels, even if you can't see them here lol.

I really wanted to keep the swirly bits on Megatron's chest from IDW

Other art notes:

The second picture with the seekers is (loosely) inspired by a discussion about whether or not Megatron gets visitors or not. I thought about who would visit him and well... I think this is as close as Starscream realistically gets to visiting him.

Extra detail about that piece is that Thundercracker and Skywarp are keeping watch from above! Also drawing Megatron took me like 8 hours because I was struggling with his legs really badly kshffkbfkdsbdk,, the background went much faster, funnily enough.

Optimus specifically isn't wearing his Autobot badge any more.

This isn't relevant in this series of images, but Ultra Magnus's eye markings are only on the Magnus armour. His other two forms do not have them :] (... until he begins to discard the armour, that is.)

Megatron is roughly 3200m/2 miles tall. Technically he could have clouds around his knees, but I thought this looked a little bit cooler lol.

Also, height chart! Him big. I didn't even attempt to put a human for scale because that'd be. near impossible with this scale.

it was one of the shorter ones, yeah! (if you don't count, like, Master Chef or the other ones that aren't really story-based.) I thought it was super cute though! :> especially given how we were in the Halloween + main story gauntlet for a while there, it was a nice easy little breather. honestly I think it was mostly about just seeing everyone come together to make fun of them help our boys be the prettiest tower princesses of all. 💐 (if for some reason this involves Jade refusing to take off the deer mask, so be it)

forgive me if this is utterly incoherent but i'm suddenly thinking about tsv sainthood again and how saints are the living product of violent traumatic assault on the body and subsequent death and rebirth as "something else", elevated to divinity by their sacrifice in theory but seen and treated as subhuman - created for the sole purpose of serving their former fellow man, upholding the infrastructure at the very bottom of the social hierarchy - in practice, and how intrinsic their suffering and death is to that conception. the corpse is, after all, "the utmost of abjection". a corpse is necessarily an object, a thing, a concept, because to acknowledge it as a person is to acknowledge one's own fragile position in the symbolic order, and how easily that is broken down and rendered meaningless. even more so when the symbolic order is as sociopolitically relevant as it is in the silt verses. saints are necessarily subject to abjection in much the same way as the corpse, because to look upon them and allow yourself to understand that they were once a person is to acknowledge that you could just as easily be in their position, and enduring the terror and revulsion in the face of that absence of meaning - that utter void of alienation - for an extended period of time would drive almost anyone blindingly insane with fear and grief. dehumanisation necessitates a sacrifice, necessitates death, necessitates assault upon the body, and this assault upon the body encourages its dehumanisation in an ouroboros of violence.

As cameras becomes more normalized (Sarah Bernhardt encouraging it, grifters on the rise, young artists using it), I wanna express how I will never turn to it because it fundamentally bores me to my core. There is no reason for me to want to use cameras because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by manufacturing companies. I paint not because I want a painting but because I love the process of painting. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.

if i have to explain to you that using a camera to take a picture is not the same as using generative ai to generate an image then you are a fucking moron.
