They demoted the person who posted that WIP of an adopt that got anonymously preclaimed. I really do not think that the mods or the owners know what they're doing... They should have rules set for this type of thing me thinks. Do not post this if it isn't anonymous!

#this situation might go both ways.#saltpost #staff woes #ongoing situation #queue... a human creation.#to share my thoughts...#i have yet to see this happen in any other closed species that i have personally boosted... of which there are a few.#i don't think it's a case of not knowing what you're doing if this PA did not ask permission before accepting a private preclaim on...#an unfinished WIP.#it had never been done before and I'm sure that ceos and directors did not think it was something to be guarded against until it happened.#on the other hand i feel for the artist getting demoted. it seems they have struggled with getting demoted previously and it seems -#this incident was enough to make them step away from the server altogether. ultimately we don't know what goes on behind closed doors.#i did state that i wanted one of their designs. i think it's a shame they are leaving the team as they had more unique and masculine pals -#which are a rarity in the server at times. it's a niche people are almost always interested in though...#maybe they felt misled and left the team because of it. maybe the species wasn't a good fit anymore. either way i have pity for both sides #of the story. ironic given my inbuilt impartiality.#haha.#the longer set of tags will most likely not happen again for a while. i hope this commentary is not too much for your tastes dear anons?

hi gang. reminder that we are some of the best sweaters in the animal kingdom (second only to equines) allowing us to stay cool and keep moving in hot weather. we have 10 times the density of sweat glands compared to other great apes.

we are ALSO insanely good at smelling rain (specifically geosmin, found in the soil and activated by rain) with the ability to smell 10 parts per trillion. this is speculated to have helped our ancestors survive!

we ALSO have absolutely batshit diets compared to most other animals. caffeine and chocolate are completely toxic to most animals but we can eat it without even feeling sick. even avocados are severely toxic to many animals to the point where it can be fatal to eat, but humans love it!!!

we are ALSO some of the best endurance runners ON EARTH out of ANY other species. we can beat horses in endurance running. you know, the animals that gradually evolved away most of their toes in order to be the best runners?? yeahhh.

and to top it all off. our lifespan is unusually long for our species' weight/mass. in many cases, the bigger a species is, the longer its average lifespan (e.g. domestic mice live for 1-3 years, bowhead whales can live over 200) but we're very small for how long our average lifespan is. big cats like tigers live around 14-15 years, brown bears 25 years, yet here we are expected to live around 75-85 years. that is NUTS.

humans as a species are so extremely cool. it's not just our intellect that makes us amazing. we may not be the fastest or the strongest in the animal kingdom but we're super cool in many other ways. next time you sweat you can go wow!!! humans are so cool I'm able to keep moving because of my absolutely insane number of sweat glands! thank you evolution!

Happy one year anniversary ISAT! To celebrate I wanted to share the lil strips I made for my friends when they reached the end of the game! They're all meant to be snippets of life post game and a glimpse into the world I'm making for Loop.
