PIDW AU where after OG Shang Qinghua betrays Mobei-Jun, he falls into a coma before Mobei-Jun finds out (plan backfiring, random demon attack, reason doesn't matter).

When Mobei-Jun does find out, instead of killing him immediately, he plans to allow Shang Qinghua to wake up from his coma and face the consequences of his actions while consious

But when Shang Qinghua wakes up, he has amnesia and doesn't remember anything. Not only that, his whole personality changed! He's a lot more skittish and cowardly, and more importantly, clearly attracted to Mobei-Jun when previously he wasn't

Luo Binghe keeps asking Mobei-Jun when he's going to kill the traitorous rat, but Mobei-Jun keeps making excuses and claiming he's trying to get Shang Qinghua to remember his crimes first

But Mobei-Jun is actually doing everything he can to make sure Shang Qinghua doesn't remember anything. He's much cuter this way, plus he's much more useful in logistics than he was previously. And he is surprisingly competent at sniffing out traitors

What Mobei-Jun doesn't know is that Shang Qinghua is a transmigrator who really did have amnesia, but slowly remembered who he was and what story he's in, and is doing his best to be useful for Mobei-Jun so he doesn't die (while unaware that OG Shang Qinghua had already betrayed the demon).

Triple Identity Crisis

Danny had a problem. If it was a big one, he couldn't tell yet but he was partially sure Clockwork was at fault for this. Or at least he wanted to blame his ghostly godparent who most likely just wanted to cause some chaos for entertainment with the pretext of helping Danny. Which was a very likely reason for why Danny had a problem right now.

As it was the former Fenton now Fenton-Wayne boy was pacing his room in the Manor trying to think what is next step should be, because as it was his 'new' family –Did new still apply if he was living with them for a little more than a year now? – knew him under three different Identities now. And to top it all off they were not aware that the three identities were all pretty much connected as one.

For one. His family, knew him as Danny, the space obsessed kid, who became a meta because of his ectobiology science obsessed parents and his teenager recklessness. A kid that was actually a genius if you gave him enough time for school and could make you anything out of a ancients be damed toaster. That was the Danny they mainly knew. The Kid they took in, let in on the family business and then chose, to the happiness of Alfred and dismay of some of his 'new' siblings, normal life over vigilante life.

Then they knew Phantom. A dead ghost hero that was helping the Justice League and Young Justice to help them deal with the aftermath of the huge fallout caused by the GIW, Guys in White or rather Ghost Investigation Ward. And while Danny didn't know he had apparently worked with nearly his entire family and that time he knew it now. Which was awkward because he had pretty much pestered one of his elder brothers about his condition until Red Hood, aka Jason, let Phantom help him. Ancient, things might get awkward if that secret is lifted. He had done a lot of things Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Orphan and Robin had scowled him for. Thankfully they only thought of him as a dead teen hero and didn't know what a Halfa was. So they didn't make the connection, and he had yet to meet Signal, aka Duke as Phantom.

Now came the third identity, which totally did not happen by his choice. After all officially he hadn't accepted the throne yet and would only get it once he was dead dead not half dead. To bad ancient texts don't care about formalities. So when trouble hit the fan really hard the Justice League Dark had the bright Idea of getting some other worldly help. Which in other words was summoning the Ghost King. Oh boy, was it fun to learn that way that Danny could get summoned against his will. Clockwork did not give him that warning when he told him about the future of his afterlife. But best of all? Oh he doesn't get summoned as Phantom which would have made things maybe a bit easier, oh no. Life wasn't easy. He got someone's in some as a super weird black-green mass of a formless eltrich body with sharp teeth, claws and glowing green eyes with no pupils or irises. Hell Danny even scared himself when he saw his own reflection in a window and he didn't have a single idea how to change his form.

Let it be known that Danny acted then on purpose like he didn't know a single person in that room he had been summoned in right out of his bed and that he wasn't staring at his adoptive father like he needed help who interpreted his stare as the ghost king sizing him up. And Danny knows this because Dick had a good laugh about that at the dinner table with the rest of his siblings.

Now a smart person would probably come clean to his family and explain to them the three identities they knew him under and how they are connected.

To bad Danny wasn't 'smart' when it came to things like that. No in his panic and newfound awkwardness of the situation of what he had done on separate occasions with his identity as Phantom AND Ghost King, he decided to keep acting like he didn't knew them personally like the truely does. Really how hard could that be? Besides he liked the way his family treated him now. He didn't want to get treated differently because he was half dead, or a Ghost King. He liked that his family was treating him as plain old Danny who had an obsession with space and was their quirkily little brother with powers.

So that gave him even more incentive to keep the act up. Even if it was hard at times, especially if he got summoned out of nowhere. It would be easier if he could get a hang of the duplication power. He even had played with the thought of getting one of his ghost rogues to help but his family was perceptive. Maybe not perceptive enough to realise that all three identities were one and the same person but they would notice if Danny acted just slightly different or if Phantom was more of then usually. But somehow he still managed to keep it up.

But it was the hard way that he learned, Danny was bad at doing the 'talking' and realized that maybe Jazz was right and he was going to slip up one day causing huge misunderstandings like right now.

He stared down at Batman and Nightwing in his Ghost King form. Red Hood had his guns pulled on him, Wonder Woman and Superman looked like they where going to try to pull back Batman any second now while Nightwing, maybe at first was going to try to calm down the bat but Danny was pretty sure the eldest bat kid was now fiercely glaring at him too. He was also pretty sure the only reason he didn't see Red Robin or Robin threaten him too was because their super friends were somehow holding them back. For their own or his safety he doesn't know at the moment.

Because apparently the Bats did not fear fighting otherworldly beings to protect one of their own.

"What did you just say about Danny Fentons death?!" Batman grunted out and Danny just knew his adoptive father was glaring at him. Ancients Danny cursed his brain to mouth filter right now. As he had the collective hero scene before him staring at his Ghost King form. Would this be a good or bad moment to come completely clean or maybe he should find some kind of philosophical bullshit of 'All things death belong to him'....

Backstory: Tell me anything about your twst OC's backstory. Their childhood, their parents, their siblings etc. Does their backstory affect how they are as a character now and how they interact with the cast?

Cecil comes from a family of mages/witches, so that’s cool. His dad is a Royal Sword Academy alumni, so that’s something. He has an older twin sister, her name is Claudia.

She’s meticulous and always holds her head high when it comes to her magical ability and her appearance (💖). Outside of NRC, especially in their home village, they’re often viewed as a pair and compared to one another. (…Mainly Cecil getting compared to her.)

They have a magical rivalry since both of their magic manifested as children around the same time. Though, that’s probably when things started to go south in terms of their once more friendly relationship.

Claudia technically got her magic first, but Cecil has much larger reserves and a really natural instinct for it.

Unfortunately for Cecil, this caused a lot of problems early on with a perceived lack of control and a pattern of disasters if he got overwhelmed. Claudia was usually at the receiving end of those disasters, so much like the adults in their village, she doesn’t trust him with magic at all.

Repeated fumbling just made Cecil seem like a hazard who can only do wrong, while his sister was doing everything correctly and seemed more reliable. Her doing well just made his mistakes look worse by comparison. Even if they were really small.

So it became a case of Cecil’s self-confidence taking a major blow, meanwhile Claudia kind of got propped up as somebody he should be striving to emulate.

Over time, it was less that he didn’t have control, but lack of faith from anyone else during his formative years didn’t really help. And since magic is strongly imagination based, that can manifest as shoddy spell-casting unintentionally, even if he knows what he’s doing now.

Claudia is most certainly envious of Cecil’s lifelong affinity with magic, so she compensated by becoming an expert on all things surrounding it like, poisons, potions, curses, practical spell casting, conjuring. etc. and all of the correct most efficient ways to do so.

Though, ultimately it doesn’t matter how meticulous she is because her reserves are just too low for any arcane academy to care. She is not impressive enough to be accepted into any such school, but the bumbling Cecil was.

Her Signature Spell is just changing a persons hair/hair color. (Not that she’d let anyone know… not even her brother.)

There’s less celebration that Cecil got into the prestigious Night Raven College, so much as how unfair it that the seemingly perfect Claudia can’t get into any arcane academy at all. Dad doesn’t really care for NRC anyway so that doesn’t help.

They’re kind of both jealous of each other in some capacity, but neither have communicated this so they’re currently just strained. They can have good days, but otherwise they don’t really talk unless Cecil comes home. …And when he does, expect yapping about all of Claudia’s accomplishments while he was away.

Fun.

SO! How does all this manifest in how Cecil interacts with the cast?

It most emerges as deadpan snark and himself getting jealous about his peers’ magical prowess or their support systems. He just feels this insatiable need to prove how competent he is. …To mixed results.

Maybe he needs to become some hero who saves people or something? Or some kind of authority that gets respect no matter what?? He doesn’t really know.

So here’s Cecil having an all that baggage and just outside of his orbit is freaking Diasomnia fam.

It can get somebody a little… resentful.

He probably wouldn’t have gone to NRC at all if not for his need to prove himself. That, and maybe one teensy tiny push from a precocious neighbor.

But, who can really say?

Killer Croc and Jack Fenton are brothers.

Killer Croc was the first born, just a about 5 years older than Jack. Their father was a large man, much larger than should be possible considering he never had a meta gene.

But oh boy would it have not surprised them if he did. Because that man was strong, 10 feet tall, and shrugged off things that would injure most people.

Like a brick to the head.

Anyways.

Croc was entranced with his younger brother; he was so small so much tinier than he had any right to be, and cuter than a button. He babbled like most babies do, but Croc wouldn't think twice before calling his baby brother the best baby of them all.

His dad could fit him in the palm of his hand easily! Which was just one of Jack's many great qualities in his opinion!

Croc and Jack's parents weren't really on the best of terms, Croc could tell. He didn't know why, really, but he didn't want his baby bro to feel unloved in any sort of way, and it's not like he really had friends to hang out with, plus his parents were busy with jobs.

So he mostly spent his time taking care of and playing with Jack. Changing diapers, feeding him, lifting him up and down with his tail, just the normal sibling stuff.

He feels kind of bad for his dad though, whatever kind of job he had didn't even let him come home most days, and when he did he could barely even walk upright without falling asleep and jolting awake. He still made time for them, however, when he got those rare few off days.

He's honestly surprised that man managed to drive a car properly in the state he was in.

Their mother was often out of the house, Crocc didn't know what she was doing but he just thought it was like his dad. Unlike his dad, however, she didn't really like him. He didn't really know why, nor did he really care either if he was to be honest.

Around a year later the tension between their parents got so thick it could be cut with a butter knife. Then it turned to arguments in the rare times they both were in the house, he didn't even know his parents could make such cutting remarks to each other, and then both of them being in the house less than before.

Then when he turned 10, and Jack 5. They got divorced. Croc was left with his mother and Jack got taken by his father. His mother didn't take the divorce well, really, probably because at the same time she got fired from whatever the hell she was doing and was left jobless.

Then she dropped the bomb on his that his dad wasn't even his actual dad and Jack is only his half-sibling and then promptly abandoned him in the sewers with the rats and what was most likely very poisoned water due to it being the sewers and Gotham.

Well. Fuck.

Croc thinks that Jack doesn't even remember him due to how young he was, nor did he ever see his dad again cause, y'know, being abandoned in the sewers and all.

Then multiple years later he ran into his brother again and got DAMN was he tall. Not taller than him, but it was basically the equivalent of a gut punch to Croc, because he remembers his baby bro being so tiny, so baby.

He blames his father's genes for him being 8 feet taller now. A head shorter than him, sure. But he wants back his small baby bro alright.

Then he finds out his baby bro has a family.

And fuck did he not want to involve himself anymore in fear of being a catalyst for tearing said family apart due to being, well, him and all. Then he was promptly (quite literally) dragged over to meet said family despite his stance on the matter.

Then he finds out he's just treated like a normal person with zero amount of fear. His wife? She had to have a giant in her family too because she was 7 feet tall and was smart enough to kick his ass.

His daughter? 6 feet tall and their first meeting she accidently became his therapist. Also, he was sure she was a meta of some kind, probably something to do with wolves.

Then finally, their son.

It felt like he was thrown back to his childhood when he saw him, he looked so much like Jack did, and he was so, so tiny just like his baby bro was. He had to physically hold himself back from doing anything with the kid because he feared he would accidentally break him or something.

Then he found out that apparently his nephew was half-dead and that his brother and his wife hated ghosts with a passion, built a portal to the other side, had their city attack by the ghost king and then promptly found out about their son's half-dead status and had to do a major revamp of basically everything they knew and acted upon.

Which they're still working on.

Oh and also their daughter is a werewolf, she had a meta gene from someone of his dad's side and only recently activated it.

All of that which was a lot to take in for old Killer Croc, also he knew his niece had something to do with wolves.

So, Killer Croc in all of his life from the point of being abandoned at up to now, decided to go screw the bats and whatever they're attempts of figuring out what the fuck's going on with him (look at you Red Hood.) and decided to try and integrate himself into this family and brother's life again as best he can.

I have a headcannon that Sam (and everyone else) knows that he and Bucky are basically dating, but Bucky has no idea.

Bucky is used to mildly concerning levels of codependency within his friendships. He feels the same way about Sam that he used to feel about Steve, but Steve and him grew up in the 30's and were probably not talking about how they were in love with each other back then. And then they were only in the future together for like 5 minutes, so again, not much time to discuss feelings.

So Bucky's just like "Yeah, Sam's my best friend. I love him. I would do anything for him. He brought me to meet his family. And we kiss sometimes after missions. Best friends." :)

I think about a lot of the differences between beast and Canon Akutagawa but I think the one similar consistency they have other than love/grief/rage and being absolutely homosexual for white haired protagonists is the fact that they are both goth enough to pull a Mary Shelley and also confess it to their Atsushi's. I like to think that instead of saying I love you, Akutagawa's confession was basically, "If you were to die before me, I will take your heart and wrap it in my favorite poetry, and carry it with me everywhere. Even when it is time for me to be put in my grave."

Canon atsushi's reaction to this at 2:47 AM on a sleepless night is, "[snort] not my leg?" and then says i love you back when akutagawa least expects it, and nearly has a heart attack cause he wasn't expecting it.

Beast Atsushi's response to it at 2:47 AM on a sleepless night is, "Duly noted, I'll update my will...does this mean we're gonna get married then?" which catches Beast Akutagawa so off guard he's like, "you've considered marriage. with me."

"I've...I have the priest (hirotsu) on speed dial. Just in case...?"

(Beast aku doesn't even agree or disagree, he just says "you're doing all the paperwork, I hate paperwork" to which beast atsushi, who has already forged his signature and finger print and has been waiting for a reason to register the paperwork for A While TM is like "got it :)")

Canon Atsushi is, precisely, exactly, like you described him: snarky, yet so acutely aware still, so on track with what Akutagawa is saying. He's the one who would playfully poke fun of Akutagawa as he's dying for him. I love this aspect of Atsushi messing up with Akutagawa and Akutagawa messing up with Atsushi– I think it's an aspect of their rivalry that would stick to their relationship no matter the stage. I think it's very sskk in the way they can be confident when they are with each other, and thus engage in competition. I think it speaks of a level of being comfortable they can only reach when they are with each other. I think Atsushi would definitely say: “Not my leg?” That's so cute, thank you. And then say “I love you too”, because he loves to take Akutagawa off guard, and because, all playing around aside, he loves him :)

Beast sskk are so cute. They're my favourite ever. They are so morbid and so tender at the same time. I don't think they share this teasing each other as much as the other sskk do, because competition to the extent the others experienced was never a thing for them. They are more quiet than that, but also giving off this feeling of, you just know no one else could be by their side. They're very precious to me. Atsushi having thought about marriage countless times, indulging on daydreaming about normal happy lives and normal couple things, just as a way of fantasizing and nothing more of course, but let's keep the priest (Hirotsu) on speed dial just in case. Vs. Akutagawa who never once it had crossed his mind but upon Atsushi mentioning it is like. “Sure. You take care of all the paperwork tho I'm NOT handing that.” And Atsushi is like “Oh. Okay :)” ajhsvakhjvkjhvcf they are so cuteeee. Atsushi knowing how to forge Akutagawa's signature AND finger print too for good measure is the cutest thing, it's something that's SO them, they trust each other so deeply, they're parts of the same being. I've said thousand times before that to me Beast Atsushi is the perfect trope of ex-mafioso house husband and this little illegal things he probably doesn't even realize are illegal are exactly what I'm talking about. They're both too messed up to realize they're freaks / they don't care because they match each other's freakiness / I love them SO much.

I do share this vision of canon sskk and Beast sskk where they are two sets of different people, but at the same time, sometimes their destinies will overlap for a fraction of second: like saying the same thing at the same time one night. They are so <3

i live in venice (not exactly but close enough) and while we dont have many beaches here many people instead just go directly into the shallow parts of the laguna! its so shallow that its basically like a sort of beach in the middle of water? many ppl esp that live there take small boats and get to those parts (at least from what ive seen when i was passing by on a boat). im not sure about it being a thing historically but maybe machete and vasco could do that too instead of a normal beach?
