Hmmmm, Are you sure about that Tootsie? 

Tootsie If you are talking about specific collabs with Toon with another reviewer and they are both in the focus, then yes. I get your point but here is a thing you never seen to look up. It makes Toon look in a positive light for those collabs or in other cases, too personal because they know they fucked up bad. All the screen shots I show here are other people who didn’t delete their videos and I can go on with that as I follow a lot of these people who has Toon shown in the background and they didn’t remove them.

The rest are big collab projects that people put their hard work into and not to mention, it shows how a friend can turn into a evil bastard like Toon. There are up for you to see and your claim on how many are removing Toon from the videos is so bullshit 70% of the time and even then, I wouldn’t be surprised if you still call them out for not removing them at all.

I will say this Tootsie, people will never forget and while I am also mad at some people for not seeing Toon for who he is ahead of time, I’m glad these videos are still up. It shows people that there is pedophiles among us and they should be ratted out.

Japanese Snack Review

Chocoball Hi-Chew (Japan Crate September 2019)

🍓 Flavor

So apparently these candies are a collab between Hi-Chew and Chocoball. Unfortunately, I’m completely unfamiliar with Chocoball so I kind of don’t get it. Judging by the JC guide, it seems like the flavor is Chocoball and the texture is Hi-Chew.

Taste-wise I’d say these are so-so. I don’t really like my strawberry and chocolate mixed (unless we’re talking a real strawberry dipped in chocolate) and the caramel is a little too sickly sweet. Other than the rare flavors, they taste just like your typical Hi-Chew candy.

🍓 Packaging

The bag is big and elaborate. We’ve got a diagram explaining the flavors, the bag itself is two-toned to symbolize the mix, and we’ve got ChocoBall mascot (Kyoro-chan) repping the flavors as well. 

Inside the bag, the candies are all individually wrapped and labelled by flavor. I alternated flavors as I ate.

🍓 Appearance

Little rectangles with outer and inner layers. They kind of remind me of Tootsie rolls:

TAB Beauty: Pre-Spring ‘17 Game Changers in Beauty

Now if you’ve spent a fair amount of time on this site, you’ll notice that over the past year, beauty content has taken an increasingly more important role! And part of that is because I’m beauty obsessed - and a self admitted makeup and skincare hoarder. The other part is because I’ve taken on a number of brand ambassador/influencer roles with a few brands and with the influx of product I’m receiving, I share my finds with you. Anywho, I’ve recently started doing the occasional this is what I’m using beauty roundup type posts and I try to do them every two months. In two months, I receive and buy a lot of makeup & skincare products. I did this at the end of 2016, continued it at the end of February, and now that April is almost over...it’s time for another one! So, just like before, I’m highlighting products that I’ve used semi-religiously in the last two months or that I found to be amazing finds. And as usual, I’ll let you know which ones were gifted to me by the brand and which ones I bought.

1. NYX Total Coverage Foundation Drops in Deep Sable (purchased):

I bought this in March and it has completely replaced my Clinique and ELF foundations. What I love about this is the buildable coverage, which means that I can easily go for a sheer effect (which is my preferred level of coverage). The formula is very lightweight and wears well throughout the day. No settling in fine lines or caking. There is a bit of a learning curve if you’ve never used a dropper to apply foundation. Also, a little goes a long way, it’s easy to go from sheer or medium to full coverage if you put a few too many drops on your face. Bonus points to NYX because I bought this online using their skin tone matching tool and was able to get a perfect match!

2. ELF Illuminating Moisturizer (gifted):

You know the drill, I’m an ELF Beauty Squad influencer. However, I have to say ELF has one of the best affordable and mass accessible skincare lines I’ve come across. They launched their skincare line last year and for the most part, I haven’t found very many misses. What I like about this moisturizer is that although it’s infused with SPF 15, the scent isn’t overpowering. True story, I rarely wear SPF infused moisturizers or lotions because the actual smell of SPF can be overwhelming and quite frankly headache inducing. But this is just right, and also includes a tiny bit of shimmer so that you can use this as a tinted moisturizer replacement or as a great base for applying your foundation.

3. Pixi Beauty Double Cleanse (gifted):

Yes...I’m also a Pixi Beauty Influencer. However, Pixi is another one of those brands that does an amazing job with their skincare offerings - which is why they made the cut twice this time! This particular product came in their massive February Kit that I instagrammed. So, Double Cleanse is a brand collab between Pixi and beauty influencer Caroline Hirons but what’s more important is that this is a balm + cream cleanser in one container. First remove your makeup using the balm and then do a final cleanse using the cream. And yes...you know how I feel about balms/solid makeup removers for full face wearers like me - so I use this actually as a 2nd step. First I use a makeup remover wipe or makeup eraser to remove my makeup and then follow up with the 2 step cleanser to get rid of any residue around my hairline or that might still be in my pores. The duo is extremely light weight and is a fairly quick process for makeup removal or cleansing at night.

4. Sky Organics Rose Water Toner (gifted):

Now this is another brand where I’ve become a brand ambassador. They send me some amazing all natural and organic skincare goodies and I am not complaining. Anywho, you guys know I’m obsessed with all things rose (rose water, rose oil, etc) and this Rose Water Toner is everything - literally. First of all, rose is a calming natural ingredient that can boost your mood, refresh your skin and especially after an intense exfoliation, can help balance your skin. Now, Sky Organics aren’t heavily perfumed products. I have several items from them and with the exception of their essential oils and coconut oil, most of their products are pretty neutral or more earthy in scent. So, if you’re expecting the standard intense rose scent, you won’t get it with this toner spray. But your skin will thank you anyway!

5. Revive Vitamin C Under-Eye Patch (purchased):

Five and six were both TJ Maxx finds - and this is why i love TJ Maxx! You can get everything under one roof. But because they’re a TJ find...I don’t have a link for you to buy. The reason why i like these under-eye patches in particular is because they mimic patches that I typically can’t find with most Western beauty lines - with the exception of Skyn Iceland. Unlike a lot of under eye patches in the West, these Revive patches aren’t soaking wet and offer a continuous cooling sensation. Now, do they get rid of my baggies - no but then again I’ve had serious bags since high school. :( (I do think that if you had minimal I partied too hard last night bags these would work tho!). But, they’re very refreshing and a great way to finish out an at home facial.

6. Body Prescriptions Pure Mineral Facial Mist (purchased):

Another TJ find that I use daily. It’s a facial mist, which is fairly straight forward if you’ve ever used the Evian or similar facial mists. However, I’m adding it because for the ridiculously low price of $5.99, I got a 10+ fluid ounce canister - you really can’t beat that!

7. I.Skin Focus Black Pearl Ultra Whitening & Anti Wrinkle Mask (purchased):

Before anyone comes for my neck, in this particular instance, “whitening” refers to brightening. I’ve used these face sheet masks multiple times and have not gotten any lighter in the face - which is a good thing. Anywho, these were a find while I was in Hong Kong. Seriously, if you get the chance to go to Hong Kong, visit a SaSa or Bonjour beauty shop - you’ll thank me later! As far as sheet masks go, these are fairly standard but like other Korean skincare products, are extremely gentle. They are the perfect way to round out a multi-step skincare routine.

8. Kiss Lash Couture Strip Lash Adhesive (Latex Free) (purchased):

Now I just recently bought this but I’m in love with it. For someone who wears lashes as much as I do, you want to make sure that you’re taking care of your own natural lashes and the delicate skin around your eyes. Regular lash glue can contain latex and from time to time it would actually cause my eyelid to get irritated and peel (gross!). This had been happening off and on for years and I never put two and two together that the latex in the glue was causing the irritation. So, fast forward a week or two ago and I’m in Walgreens to buy more lash glue because my previous tube met an untimely end when we moved from our old place to our current one. I’m in the aisle and see that they have a latex free black glue from KISS - which is my preferred lash glue over Duo (and yes I know Duo is like an industry standard). Although I don’t like that it’s a brush rather than a squeeze bottle, I do like that my eyelids are no longer irritated!

9. Ped Egg Power (purchased):

I literally just bought this last week and I love it. Now I’m a believer that when it’s that beginning of sandal or open-toe season and your feet still look a little suspect from the winter, you don’t just instantly go plop those claws into a nail salon’s chair. I personally feel like you need to do a bit of at home touch up so that you don’t scare away the manicurists. Depending on how bad your tootsies look, you may need to go for a total Baby Foot process or you can get away with a bit of light work. The Ped Egg is pretty awesome in that it really does file away any calloused or hard gross skin. The only thing I don’t love about it is that what’s buffed off goes flying everywhere. So, maybe don’t use this product while sitting on a black couch...just saying. 

10. ELF Complete Coverage Concealer (purchased):

So, I ran out of my NYX Conceal, Correct, & Contour palette and had been trying to make due with concealer substitutes with mediocre results. Since ELF was having a sale, I decided to pick up a few items, one of which was their Complete Coverage Concealer in Dark.This is actually a pretty awesome concealer set. The far left and the 2nd from the right are two shades that are perfect for me - especially for cleaning up my brows - which was exclusively what I used the NYX palette for. The consistency is creamy yet not greasy and is extremely easy to apply.

11. Robin McGraw Revelation Hydra Qwench (gifted):

So, this came as part of a total set of skincare goodies, but this is the one that I really love. The Hydra Qwench moisturizer is heavy enough to give me the hydration I need, but not so much as to be greasy. It’s practically scent free which is a huge bonus for me and overall is very lightweight. I use this daily in the AM after washing my face. It goes right in between toning and then applying my facial mist and skin oil.

Pixi Beauty SkinTreats Hydrating Milky Mist (gifted):

This was one of four SkinTreats mists that I received in my April Pixi Beauty box - but this is hands down my favorite. First of all, it really is hydrating - with the Hyaluronic Acid, Black Oat & other vitamins infused in it. The mist is ultra lightweight, but you can tell that it also sticks around. Plus, the scent of this is divine - and that says a lot coming from someone as scent averse as I usually am. I’ve been using this religiously since I got it and know I will run out to buy it whenever this runs out!
