Welcome the paladin of Torm.

He's a silver dragonborn, but by the time I realized that the "silver" that came in my original Army Painter’s Speedpaints set didn't feel light enough and grey enough to feel like silver, I didn't feel like redoing it, so he looks kind of evil. I've since bought some other metallic paints, but it was too late for this one by then.

The figurine is from the Blacklist Miniatures: Fantasy Series 1 kickstarter.

I GOT PLENTY OF HEADCANONS FOR YOU

- Torm and Edd would often drive out to a hillside with a 12 pack of cola on them and they'd just drink it while talking about life.

- Torm tries his best to be a gentleman to Edd, opening doors for him and whatnot. He wants to show that he's more (and better) than Tom and Tord and Edd thinks it's cliché yet endearing.

- Edd finds it funny that even a fusion clone of two of his friends is shorter than him. He squishes Torm's face a lot.

- They've been on plenty of dinner-and-movie dates together. 😳 Something about them is very relaxing for the both of them.

- They love watching Cats together.

Well I see we found the real-world inspiration for this

catopumas are so interesting 2 me bc theres only two species so far in the genus, and its either

a very gentle looking asian golden cat

very kind looking, round. 10/10

and then the other in the genus is

the bay cat, or as i like to call them - the weasel cat. long, kinda weird looking, but still 10/10 despite the weaselness.

* (CONTEXT: Doris is the team's brain. Zatan... The dumbest one, but comic relief).

3-. Garo and Haze.

- Garo: *Raising his voice* And that’s why we must crush Giru with honor and—!

- Haze: *From the bench, raising her fist* SHUT UP ALREADY!

- Garo: ... In short; we’ll beat the crap out of them.

* (CONTEXT: Garo = Saginuma 2. Haze's usually the one who shuts him up... With threats).

- Stia: On who?

- Garo: *Pointing at everyone* Yes.

* (CONTEXT: Garo basically including everyone in the punch fest).

- Sync: You know what this match is missing?

- Gigam: What?

- Sync: Explosions.

* (CONTEXT: Sync is a malicious pyromaniac. Also pulls dirty tricks).

6-. Rodeo and Sync.

- Sync: *Growling* I hate pink, I hate love, and I hate damn rainbows!

- Rodeo: *Eating chips* What about kittens?

- Sync: ... I tolerate them.

- Rodeo: *Nodding seriously* Wise choice.

* (CONTEXT: Sync HATES anything cute or cheesy. But kittens... Valid exception).

7-. Deos, Muddle and Zatan.

- Deos: On my signal, we all hit!

- Muddle: What signal?

- Zatan: *Knocks out Mhadoor* THIS ONE!

* (CONTEXT: Just pure violence... Especially with Zatan, who loves fights too much).

- Rude: *Lifting Gigam like a potted plant* Look at this little... I mean, such a fierce opponent. Yes. Very tough.

- Gigam: PUT ME DOWN OR I’LL BITE YOU!

- Rude: *Thinking* (So fierce... So small... So adorable...).

* (CONTEXT: Rude is the big guy with a weakness for small things. And Gigam is tiny).

9-. Zanark and Garo.

- Zanark: *Smiling* I thought you'd say that.

* (CONTEXT: Zanark being Zanark. Had to be here, since he’s the team’s captain too).

*SPOILER WARNING* As a DM, a character possessed by the spirit of Tiamat suddenly gaining powers? I'd make them a sorcerer or some kind of warlock, not a cleric. We don't see him devoting his life to Torm. That's just my take. It was a very cool episode. Not quite sure why it was a "Secret Level" though.

Just had some thoughts about this guy. Context: I was making a reference to him in a conversation when I just looked at him again from the top down: sure is strange that some Oathbreaker can do what this guy can, knows what he does, and has the power to determine who has broken their oath and can oversee their change into the oathbreaker path or redemption to their old oath, no matter what that oath was or the circumstances of its breaking. Almost as if…

He oversees all oaths made by paladins. And the only being that makes any kind of sense for in The Forgotten Realms is Torm, the god of all paladins, someone who is weirdly lacking mention in a lot of Bg3’s lore.

Just a bit of random speculation but I do like the notion that the god of all paladins includes oathbreakers as his people: you’re still part of what it means to be Paladin and I’m going to help you through it, come what may.

Imagine with me if you will...

A hero who has no secret identity. They are assigned a new civilian identity every few weeks by the hero agency. This is for security and safety. As soon as a villain thinks they've figured out Hero's civilian identity, that name and the person associated with it has forever faded into the shadows. Hero is a ghost and a shape-shifter, never remaining one person for very long. It gets to the point that Hero struggles to remember their own name. Oh, silly them, they don't have a name. Their name is "Hero", and any other name was given up when they joined the agency.

Should I write this???
