• Their families had always been very close, before the war already, and after the war the Heavensbee family and the Sickle family would frequently invite each other for dinner. Therefore Hilarius and Vipsania basically were closee than to most of their classmates

• Hilarius felt slightly jealous of Treech because he saw how Vipsania fell for him. After Treech died, Hilarius felt guilty for his jealousy

• Both were teachers at the Academy later on and both teached some of their friend's children

• Hilarius proposed to Vipsania on her birthday :)

• They both aren't that type of couple who'd bring each other flowers or huge gifts and they don't make a big deal out of their anniversaries BUT they'd sit down every afternoon to talk about their day and if there was anything that was troubling them 🥺

LumerHouse AU where movie Tanner and Treech break off from the pack after Lamina’s death because Treech cannot Handle It and Tanner comforts him after finding him because he ran away. They’d spent their time after the bombing getting closer because they both lost their district partners. Brandy for obvious reasons and Lamina because Treech knew refusing Coral’s offer would paint a target on his back and would put Lamina in danger too if they stayed together. Afterwards, they just stick together because Mizzen and Coral are a duo and thus so are they. Once they’re on their own, they hide out in the tunnels and spend an extra day bonding and getting to know each other while they try to forget reality for as long as possible. Treech steals food and water for them like he did in the book. They come out just as its time for the snakes to be released.

Treech books it as soon as he sees the helicopter and drags Tanner with him, climbing the beams because there’s no way in Hell Tanner can climb the scoreboard the way Treech could if he wanted to and he isn’t leaving his new friend behind. Good decision, because in mere minutes it’s just them and Lucy Gray left. Given that she isn’t the victor, she isn’t let out. When she stops singing and the snakes still don’t kill her, Snow’s cheating is revealed to everyone, and he also gets sent to the districts as a peacekeeper. His public reaction to this makes Sejanus not follow him and he doesn’t become a gamemaker, nor the president (he was disgraced and his future is destroyed entirely after all).

Tanner and Treech stay on the beams, cuddling while it gets colder as Vipsania and Domitia send them sponsor gifts. Treech performs to keep up the donations as the two figure out what to do. Once the cold kills the snakes, Tanner and Treech hunt down and kill Lucy Gray. Then both realize they can’t bring themselves to kill each other. They have a confession of love and decide to face this together, letting fate decide who makes it out. Turns out Domitia and Vipsania make one Hell of a team when they work together, because they convince people to let them both out and the two become joint victors with the privilege of traveling between districts 7 and 10.
