Remembered a post from ages ago saying something like “rip Tucker, you would have loved watching Bluey in a trance while Junior ate glass somewhere” and suddenly got the need to draw

This is minus the eating glass bit because I love my baby too much for that, although I'm pretty sure Junior could probably eat glass for enrichment and be just fine (sangheli teeth and durability and all that) also here's the plain version and a little close up of the boy because I think it's the best one of him I've drawn :]]

Red Vs. Blue face headcanons! Since y'all wanted em out before Season 19 dropped!

In defense of Simmons not being a red haired twink: big buff DnD and science nerd.

And some extra notes under the cut:

You can take all these with a silly grain of salt, I'm not a long-time RvB fandom frequenter but did like some bits.

Simmons: Dutch-Irish but keeps getting called 'of a Latino persuasion' by Grif. Also funnily uses 'cracker'. (so mixed.) Cybernetics built from the same sort of stuff Lopez is made out of, visibly running down the left of his face, neck, ribcage, and arm. His arm worked the best for Grif because they're around the same height.

Grif: Too lazy to cut much of his hair, but it's necessary when his helmet doesn't properly secure. Also, a beard is beneficial for catching some little save-for-later snacks. Carving started out as a fidgeting task if he somehow couldn't sleep.

Donut: Just barely hits the twunk allegations in comparison as the lankiest out of a group of fat and buff guys, somehow more durable than all of them despite it and is still above average in build. Started really trying to compensate for his image because of his scar, which developed into really being able to love himself.

Sarge: LOVES his sergeant stripes. Don't tell him but his eyes might be blue. He will say they're grey, though. Don't ask about the bullet hole in his head, either. It's not that he doesn't want to talk about it, just that he'll probably go on a rant about Grif.

Church: Rest in piss Jimmy. Church doesn't naturally feel sleepy though, not like he has this body for long. The scar on his neck was smooth enough to not raise any alarm, and a lack of sleep may have hindered his fight-or-flight reflexes while he still lived...

Tucker: A few scars from his alien encounter, a glimmer in his eyes a slight indication of his connection with the blade-key along with the visor changes. Poor guy couldn't grow his hair long because of the helmet.

Caboose: Most head trauma of anyone ever, injuries hidden by his thick curly hair. Sure doesn't keep him down! It may contribute to a loop of him losing teeth and continuing to worry about the tooth fairy being mad at him, though.

Thinking too hard about Carolina and Tucker after retirement; think abt secretly biggest geek Tucker who just so happened to have the insecurity/social inisght (depending how u look at it, hes either smart enough to not get bullied, or too repressed to be genuine/vunerable and it just works out in his favour) to keep them tucked away and not end up as the blue team version of Simmons, who's finally starting to apply the whole no more toxic bravado masculine shit he learned: having all these cool hobbies and intrests that he's slowly learning to be less ashamed of, in combination with Carolina; whose on this misguided, furious, quest to get a good grade in relaxing, and is learning to Have A Hobby TM. Thinking about her barging in on Tucker working on a sewing project of a cosplay for his new favourite series because she hasn't lived with other people long enough in so long that she still doesn't knock ever and him freezing like an idiot, caught in the decision between claiming its for hallowen (11 months in advance) or just melting into the floor out of embarrassment.

Thinking about him accidently launching into a big info dump abt something nerdy as all hell while their hanging out because thats a thing they apparently do now, and then suddenly hesitating and stopping in his tracks because "people don't normally let me talk this long. Why haven’tyou told me to shut up yet?" And then having to kind od sheepishly explain that "well, I usually get told to shut up at this point. And I mean I get it, I'd tell me to shut up too." And Carolina stares at him like he's stupid while she debates in her head wether you can beat self esteem into someone.

Thinking about Tucker and Carolina in retirement. Thinking about how that's her lame ass friend but also "DID YOU JUST CALL HIM LAME? NO SAY IT AGAIN CMERE-" Because that's her lame ass idiot and he is so fucking cool and don't you dare say otherwise.

Anyway i rewatched a bunch of the seasons now that I have them on DVD and wanted some background noise while working on art fight suff and now I have a fic to write post haste. THE BRAINWORMS PERSIST!
