What would Jack’s and BigB’s dynamic be like? (This is gonna be about their characters and not the ccs soooo-)

I mean, c!Jack was never takin serious (like somebody I know *cough cough* Jimmy *cough cough* /j) other than by c!Nikki, and he was mischievous as well villainous because his hatred for c!Tommy.

Now this isn’t all about c!Jack’s evilness because this also goes out for any other Jacks because they are just mischievous and again not taken super duper serious.

BigB on the other hand is kind and sweet and a funny silly guy! He isn’t taken serious either or at least he doesn’t try to be serious— that was until Limited Life as far as I’m aware, he begins his journey of being just observant and watching.

It shows we have a competing vision for the country. Granted, poll after poll shows that Trump’s tactics aren’t playing well. But we have to convince people on the fence to trust us.

been thinking about marika and radagon a lot lately (well actually been thinking about them for years but especially latey) and i've gone through a lot of speculations/theories. while i'm not going to put my own opinion regarding this matter here, i do want to make a post regarding some of the evidence that i think is crucial to understand them. (initially posted as a thread on twitter!)

1. there was no explicit mention of radagon during the age of plenty, indicating either he was a no one, or he didn't exist at all by then, depending on whether you think he and marika was separate beings or they were one being since the beginning. back then, crucible and erdtree still possessed their divine power, especially the crucible, so i think it is the only time period that can maintain the rebis (combination of polar opposites) to be harmonious.

As a result, it is possible that marika didn't need radagon at all, cuz her thoughts and beliefs were harmonious back then. Even if radagon already existed as marika's alter ego, marika didn't need him to do anything.

2. the description of radagon only appeared after the age of plenty had ended, during which the incantation symbol changed from the early crucible/erdtree to the abstract erdtree. the power of crucible slowly faded, so the rebis was not in harmony anymore, this was the time that radagon first appeared in the narrative.

apparently, this is related to whatever happened at the end of age of the plenty. i've seen theories about first burning of the erdtree, and i personally think this is the time destined death was plucked out of the elden ring, due to the fact that elden ring in godfrey's time was supposed to look like this (found both in front of godfrey's monument and leyndell). anyway this is all speculation, we need dlc to support any of this, but something definitely had happened that time, causing radagon to come out of nowhere.

actually i think point 1 and 2 should be one point but nvm my brain is a mess...😭 in a nutshell, radagon wasn't in the narrative (either didn't exist or was no one or marika didn't need him) until the erdtree (and crucible)'s divine power slowly faded.

3. now comes the confusing & fun part: elden ring, erdtree and golden order are concepts that sounds really similar but actually they are very different. i don't want to go in length cuz it's very complicated to explain, but essentially marika is much more associated with erdtree, while radagon is much more associated with golden order, making them very different. In other words, marika is more associated with nature, while radagon with law enforcement, civilization...abstract things created by people.

4. one thing i'd like to point out, which i haven't seen anyone talked about it it's crazy???, is the gestures "inner order" and "outer order".

you receive the latter one from melina, after she repeats to you marika's words in minor erdtree church, in which "marika" talked about "her" intention to search the gold order. i used "" because radagon might be the one who actually said it!? marika never call people "my comrades", it's more fitting for radagon to do so. besides, we can find golden order seal just near by and radagon is the one whose name appeared in description about golden order incantations all the time. and then we receive the gesture "inner order" from Devin, who shared one soul with his brother, but they had separate bodies and minds.

i think it's a very subtle implication telling us how did marika and radagon work before the shattering. but of course, this is not a direct piece of evidence saying thay marika and radagon had separate bodies before, i just think this evidence should be considered when talking about marika and radagon.

finally (omg it's the longest post i've made and i wasn't making any sense but anyway), i want to stress that no matter they were one being from the start, or they were glued together by the greater will, or radagon was somehow produced(?) by marika after she became the embodiment of elden ring or after she plucked destined death, currently (ok that's weird to say since they are both dead lol) marika and radagon DOES NOT share their opinions and decisions.

their intentions was opposite to each other, to me this means they should not be regarded as the same. Even if they have shared memories & feelings, which there's no way to know, in the end they didn't agree with each other and fought for their control over the situation. no matter what they were like before, this fact doesn't change.

What's moral OCD? Where does it typically come from?

I am really not an expert on these particular particulars and definitely not a psychologist really even in hobby. The vague nutshell of what moral OCD is, at least the way i understand it, is when the subject of one's OCD is largely centered around "being a good person," wherein the idea of hurting anyone or doing something that's "wrong" in a moral sense is Apocalypse Incarnate.

The intrusive thoughts they have center around "what if you accidentally do something bigoted or abusive or manipulative, you'd be the most horrible person to ever do it" and such. As far as I can tell, it comes from trauma, I'd suspect being repeatedly overpunished for minor or even fabricated errors or faux pas, made to believe that making someone else so much as uncomfortable is as good as a permanent stain upon your person that can never really be escaped, only met with enough shame and guilt such that we can be certain you're not secretly a Proud Abusive Bigot.

As you can imagine, this is complete bullshit and not how the world works, and also tumblr/twitter/tiktok is fucking rife with this kind of bullshit running rampant, everyone dead set on instilling this way of thinking into anyone they can sucker into it. Fear and outrage Do Numbers, unfortunately :/

And for anyone with this kind of thing rattling around in their brain, some detox: Mistakes are the most normal possible thing, and that means mistakes that result in harm. You're gonna hurt people sometimes, what matters is owning it and letting the hurt be about them, not your feelings about causing it. You can seek support for those feelings from other folks, and that's a good thing even. It's okay to let your rough edges show. Just apologize (not grovel, just an apology will do I promise) and try to do better in the future, and you've got the important part in the bag: how you respond to the situation.

And to cap things off: I am not a psychologist and I certainly am no authority on the subject, just some broke tranny who's been on the internet for way too long and spent too much time thinking about this stuff. This is my take on it and more or less what's on my mind when I talk about "moral OCD"

An extremely long life update

Hey, so I just kinda disappeared out of nowhere with only a vague comment about going on a hiatus but never making any "official announcement" about it. So here I am, just tryna get y'all up to speed with what's been going through my life. Nothin' much, but still quite a lot, so when I make a comeback to all art places, I'm gonna have to do some heavy rework of all my social media to make sure everything's up to date, since many things are very outdated.

So first off, the reason why I went on this hiatus was because of the heavy burnout and a lot of pressure that I was putting on myself, on top of being very emotionally unstable due to gruesome things happening in my life (cutting ties with "friends" that manipulated me, feeling awful about myself, my art, and everything I do, added to having an overall bad luck strike for some months, where it seemed like I could not do a single thing right without messing up five in the process), so I was forcing myself to draw to exhaustion just to keep doing something, so I wouldn't have an anxiety attack. But I just couldn't keep on doing that, which is why I decided to stop producing art for most of this year.

The emphasis is on the word "producing". I'm still making and creating new art, but putting less and less effort into it, and just drawing anything I felt like at the moment, mostly just pencil sketches that I posted on my Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr, and refraining from creating digital art.

It's worked wonders on my psyche, and with every week that went by, I began to "fall in love" again with drawing. I still do not plan to return to making art "seriously", but when I do, I definitely will change the way I produce art, so I can still find the art process enjoyable without putting too much "unnecesarily pointless" effort into it. Some of the sketches I made got a lot of likes and attention, easily putting the rest of my artworks to shame! So yeah, there's that.

The second reason is that since I am a person who just-so happens to be and live in Venezuela, my Paypal account got terminated when I received a very much needed donation, and now I cannot accept support from anyone until I can find a suitable replacement to use that is not Paypal. This means that I am no longer taking commissions(not that I ever got any commissions to begin with), and my Ko-Fi account has donations turned off, essentially locking away all the exclusive content that was uploaded there. Then I watched that Duchess Celestia video where she talked about Ko-Fi's lack of security and how she lost a lot of money, so it's safe to say that I will quit using Ko-Fi altogether. I'm planning to migrate all my content to Patreon so my content is still available for, idk, some lost wandering soul that sends me money probably by mistake, but till then, all of my more recent artworks are banished to the Shadow Realm.

The third reason is that my ol' dinosaur PC is finally gonna get upgraded to 64 bits, so I had to do the tiresome task of making backups of everything I had on it, using only one 23 GB USB drive. Because of that, I couldn't make any digital art even if I wanted to, because I do not have the program to do it, so yeah, if anything, I'd call that a win. That said, once my PC is fully functional again, THAT is when I will be able to produce digital art normally again, so my hiatus will go on a little longer after I feel fully "recovered".

That, in a nutshell, is why I went on this massive hiatus, and let me tell ya, hiatuses are underrated! I know y'all who live off of art have your brains consumed by hustle culture and wouldn't take a break even if your working hand fell off your arm, but as someone who never had art as a career option, taking this time off was the best thing I could ever do. I feel rejuvenated! I'm starting to enjoy things again! I'm happier! I'm exploring new things and rediscovering things that I'd forgotten about or left behind!

I am much better now!

So yeah what I'm trying to say, is that this perception of taking a break as something bad that has to be avoided, and more like a positive thing, seriously! People gotta stop focusing on those silly Twitter numbers and start focusing more on their health and well-being!

"Yeah but it's not that simple, some of us need to make art for a living", brother, I am not looking for a debate, please do not try to reply with this, because I will ignore you. I am in the right, and so are you. Let's just agree to disagree, and move on with our lives, okay?

"Jerkrome", i.e. "Jumpscare Jerome" is one of the Twitter Bitches. Calls himself a film critic and in the industry, but if you read his reviews or looked at his Stan-ass X profile, you'd understand that he's just special.

He didn't used to have such a stan pfp of Ortega, but I guess he's just given up his dick to the dark side.

He threw a whiny bitchfit because during an Anon exchange here in the dumping ground for people's Twitter Bitch shit my inbox, someone referred to him as "Jumpscare Jerome" and it stuck. And because of that bitchfit, some of his shitty little fangirls ended up Percy-cuting me with accusations of shit I never did. A slightly more thorough explanation...:

I made him this kewl AI pfp when he switched his pfp to a photo that just didn't do him any justice. He blocked me. How rude. 🥲

He cavorts with the creepier Wenclair/Jemma stans and drives my equally obsessed Inbox Feeders to point out their blindness and hypocrisy (and to me, he and his gaggle of gooners aren't much different than Trump Supporter types and they love to project upon me what they feel towards Ortega purely because of what I write). Sometime someone called him "Jumpscare Jerome" and it stuck for a little while until he threw the biggest tantrum about me and my blog on his Twitter, which ofc made the Twitter Bitches [who tolerate him/allow him be their Pick Me] come after me/my name, one in particular fabricating an incident intended to paint me as a predator*. He never once told these bitches to knock it off because I'm sure he thinks (or hopes) that what that little cunt about me said was true.

He also got real mad after I raked him over the coals for joining in with those bitches when they were mocking a Percy stan's suicidiality, and for just generally being a fucking asshole about Ortega with the rest of the Twitter Bitches.

After things were cleared and during a truce, a jobless stan took his name/identity and started harassing me with it. I asked him about the comments because I had a sneaking sus it wasn't him. Yet he still continued to stick around the people who are jobless enough to think to take his name and harass me with it. Dumbass is dumbass, but stans like him and his girls stick together. I still have one of the harasser's comments over on AO3 but have yet to publish it (I will).

But he kept opening his fucking mouth and cried AGAIN when I corrected his idiot mouth when he was tryna play off Miller's Girl as a role that Ortega had to take/make it sound like someone practically twisted her arm to do it (which is untrue, according to her own mouth and the very rare piece of Miller's Girl promotion from her that we have); all in the context of the shitastically shitty shit shit performance of ALL of her movies that are independent of prior legacy establishment (i.e. her movies AND TV do best when they're already connected to something people already love, like the Scream franchise, Beetlejuice, and Tim Burton). He didn't have to block me again, but he couldn't take being corrected about MG like he was. ❄️🤡

See, he's a Stan™ of the highest order, making excuses for her shittiness and communing with/Liking the Jenna Defense comments of hateful bitch Stans (but then deleting evidence of his crashouts/still sticking around them when they treat him like shit) that include the #cancelpercy crowd. one thing that i’m obsessed about how Bad JK Rowling’s writing is is that if you grew up with Harry Potter and were enamored by the universe (because you were an impressionable kid and with all due respect the film series does a really good work presenting that universe in an appealing way) but grew out of it for many reasons, it’s impressive how EASY it is to completely break apart and realize “holy shit, JK Rowling IS a bad worldbuilder” by pointing out VERY basic stuff

For example this thread on twitter explaining that it’s good that the real-life Quidditch sports was renamed Quadball because they had to rework the WHOLE thing so much because the actual Quidditch sports had absolute dogshit rules. It’s a fairly simple game of handball with an added element of magic with the bludger and THEN you have the Golden Snitch which is basically the gamebreaker. Scoring in this game is worth 10 points and catching the Golden Snitch not only ends the game but also awards 150 POINTS to the catcher’s team. SO NOT ONLY is the whole handball game fucking useless but also it basically shows that JK Rowling made the game this way because Harry Potter (who was designated catcher) HAD to be a hero and win. It’s very fucking stupid and it goes to show that they had to rebalance the game by making it so that the Snitch awards only 30 points to the catcher’s team.

Like i used to think that at least Quidditch was a neat idea and this thread fucking DEMOLISHES IT by pointing out very basic stuff. You can go as far as to imagine how the rest can be fucking blown away by smithereens like the obvious examples of the Goblin Bankers being antisemitic caricatures and the whole House Elves thing. In a nutshell what i mean is that breaking down JK Rowling’s shitty verse is NOT even deep analyses or subtext exploration no it’s ALL surface level it’s ALL text and all you need is a healthy brain with a varied knowledge on stories and writing and a little pinch of basic critical thinking to realize “wait. this is poorly written”

Rating Metal Gear Rising Songs By How Well They'd Fit In A Shadow the Hedgehog Game

In honor of that one guy on twitter who couldn't tell them apart. I'm rating all vocal boss tracks based on narrative (how well they match Shadow's cannon), tone (how much they sound like Shadow's OST), and general badassery (this should be obvious). I have never played a Metal Gear but I do have a PhD in Shadow the Hedgehog. All results are final and totally subjective. Here we go.

Rules of Nature: This would make a great opening to Shadow the Hedgehog 2. Tone and badassery are there, but it's lacking a certain "je ne sais hog" in the narrative category. 7/10.

I'm My Own Master Now: Perfect. Incredible. Show stopping. Shadow's hero arc in a nutshell. 10/10.

Stranger I Remain: Again, damn good when it comes to Shadow's narrative. You've got the amnesia. The fighting in a strange war. The outside influences. If SEGA weren't such cowards and put female vocalists in Shadow's game I'd give this a perfect score. But they are cowards, so, 8/10.

The Hot Wind Blowing: The stupid amounts of angst are there, but otherwise would make no sense in a Shadow game. Unless he got really lost in Knuckles' level and decided to have a narrative arc about it. 4/10.

The Stains of Time: Huge points for kickass drums and electric guitar. Additional points deducted for too much mud and rain. 6/10.

Red Sun: Red Sun is my favorite goddamn track in this OST but I gotta stay true to my ranking metric and say. It's D-tier in terms of narrative. But the VIBE is there. The DRUMS are there. The instrumentals and vocal quality are identical to a Shadow OST. I have to give it a 7/10.

The Only Thing I Know For Real: Every time I listen to this song my brain switches off and I enter Teen Angst Headbang Mode. It's got it all. The lack of memories. The drive to fight. The absolutely bonkers lyrics found in any good Sonic the Hedgehog game. 100/10.

Collective Consciousness: Huge GUN vs Shadow vibes, especially if Shadow's game went even further into the "military sucks" theme. But that's the game we could have, not the game we were given, so it only gets a 6/10.

It Has To Be This Way: YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Can you IMAGINE a Shadow vs Sonic Bad End brawl to the death with this song blaring in the background???? I'd play the shit out of that and then ascend. 1000000/10.

[click to enlarge if needed] it’s that time of year again! 2022 has been a slow but good year overall. slow... but also a year that went by so quickly. didn’t consume as much media as I would have wanted (lots of trash tv, not many movies, and the brain wasn’t able to focus on reading a book in the second half of the year;;) but I did explore some new music! changed my hair colour a ton, and saw lots of skating (short track and figure skating!) especially in the second half of the year! I even got my first professional gig(tm) as media at skate america and interviewed my fav boy jun (aka the most stressful moment of my life!) ;;

who knows if I’ll migrate back here with twitter slowly seeing its downfall thanks to incompetent rich people but!!! one thing that will always remain is the my year in a nutshell tradition <3

see you in 2023! the first three months are looking up to be a busy (and fun) for me which is great!

Ok. So this is the "Overwatch 2nd generation Kids meet the Old Soldiers headcanon + Echo" comic. I hope you enjoyed the ride, it was painful, I cried, so you have to cry with me, and you're welcome.  A few comments:

Ana looking sad and thinking at Reinhardt, ofc. Who wouldn't? Sorry Genji, but you don't have a cooler beard.

Headcanon is Tracer insulting Morrison because now she's in charge and a modern leader, and and I think that Jack in OW 2 won't be their honorable commander anymore. Also Tracer baby-crying is my new weakness so why not?

I must thank @temple-secrets​ who whispered in my ears "Echo becoming Gabriel to convince Jack to do something" when we first saw her ultimate ability and my brain added the "naked" word because, c'mon, you know me.

Jack simply doesn't care about anything that's not Gabriel. Deal with it. This is canon. Trust me. Also, do you think that Echo is telling him the "don't go is dangerous" thing because Gabriel actually told her that or only to protect Jack? Let me know.

This comic in a nutshell: "It's not a (soldier) phase, mom!" Yeah. Jack simply doesn't know how to evolve. And I love him, ok?

Echo in the last pic is like: "Oh, well. Angel of Death, right? Thanks for the hand, man, really, but I'm not helping you cleaning up this mess, ok? Gotta go save Paris. BYE!"

I'm glad I was able to pull off this comic in two days since I'm going to be pretty busy in the next months with other stuff and work. Thank you all. I hope you liked and cried a lot. I did.

Pity is a good reaction. We love you so much and I'm so sorry even the kindest people like you (and other lovely authors) are not safe from these pathetic crusaders. I hope our love and support can shield you all a little bit.

(I wanna just be super clear that that response wasn’t about any particular person but just general advice for coping with stuff you see online that spikes your blood pressure. Someone disagreed with me and that’s okay. I didn’t appreciate the way they did it but I don’t get to dictate how strangers react to things.)

But that being said it is really heartening how we seem to stick up for each other around here. I love this little community 💛
