John couldn’t help but smile, seeing the porch light on in anticipation of his arrival. He quickly kicked off his boots by door and trudged inside, his weathered hands gently opening the door to your shared home. As he peers through the entrance, careful not to let too much light in, he notices a lack of you waiting for him in the living room. With a soft sigh, he sheds his tactical gear, assuming that you’d given up on waiting for him and went to bed. He discards his shirt and green khaki pants, clad in only his boxers. He tugs at the blanket draped upon the top of the couch and pulled it over his tired body. He lets out another sigh, this time one of relief. The blanket he’d chosen was warm, fluffy, and a lovely cream color. Most importantly, it carried a faint trace of your scent. Resting his head on the throw pillow, he softly drifts into a deep slumber.

A soft grumble escapes him as he wakes around 8 am. He feels a familiar weight on his chest and opens his eyes to find you tucked into his side, lying sideways on the couch. He chuckles as he notices your head turned awkwardly to lay on his chest.

As he reaches out to pet your hair, his eyes catch a trail of lipstick marks climbing up his arm. He sighs, amused. Of course his pretty girl had marked him up—how thoughtful. But as he looks closer, he realizes they’re everywhere. The marks trail down his legs, dotting his skin like little declarations of affection. The bustling streets of Cairo were as overwhelming as they were busy. You were weaving through the crowd, eyes darting between the map in your hand and the people rushing around you, trying to keep up with the fast pace. Distracted, you didn’t notice the person walking directly toward you—until you collided.

The impact knocked you back a step, and in an instant, your bag slipped from your shoulder. Its contents; a notebook, pens, and a couple of other small items; spilled onto the ground, scattering across the dusty street.

“I’m so sorry-” you started, kneeling down quickly to gather your things. But before you could even reach for the first item, a hand appeared, already scooping up the notebook for you.

You looked up and found yourself staring into the intense gaze of Jotaro Kujo. His face, usually cold and unreadable, held a brief flicker of surprise as he knelt down beside you, his gloved hands swiftly collecting the fallen items. For a moment, the world around you seemed to blur—here was the last person you’d expect to help, and yet, there he was, silently handing you back your things.

“Here,” he said, his voice low and gruff as he extended the notebook to you. Your fingers brushed his as you took it, and you couldn’t help but feel a small rush of warmth.

“Thank you,” you mumbled, feeling a little flustered. You hadn’t expected someone like Jotaro, who always seemed so distant and unapproachable, to step in so quickly, especially when you had been ready to fix the mess yourself.

As you stood up, Jotaro rose too, towering over you. His eyes lingered on you for just a moment, an unreadable expression on his face, before he turned to walk back toward his group.

Behind him, Polnareff nearly tripped over himself in shock. “…He seriously just helped them without grunting about it.. He wouldn’t even do that for me!”

Joseph, arms crossed, raised an eyebrow. “I don’t believe it. Is he actually being considerate?”

But all Avdol and Kakyoin did was smile knowingly, they could see through Jotaro.

Jotaro, overhearing their comments, shot them an annoyed glance. “Yare yare daze… Don’t make a big deal out of it.”

You chuckled softly under your breath, watching him as he tried to shake off the teasing from his friends. Despite his usual tough demeanor, there was something unexpectedly kind about the way he’d helped you without hesitation. You caught his eye one last time, and this time, you swore there was a hint of something softer in his expression—just for a second.

With a quiet smile, you slipped your things back into your bag, feeling a little lighter than before. Maybe that chance encounter was just the beginning.

The tutoring lessons didn’t go as planned

This was a common occurrence, helping Shidou on his classes while he barely paid attention to you as he was too focused checking you out, brushing his shoulder with yours from time to time and when you threatened to leave he put out the biggest pout and finally managed to behave himself and learn from you.

From Shidou’s perspective? He was head over heels for you, he loved how you would glared at him or how you would grip his wrist with force when he was getting touchy, you could’ve punch him and he would be grateful for it. That is how much he is in love with you, he didn’t even need that much of tutoring his grades were average, he just wanted to see your pretty face.

And he knows behind that unbothered and cold attitude from yours, he knows you feel the same because every time he touches you and flirts either he can see the subtle smile you make before rolling your eyes and turning your head away or he can see the tip of your ears having an almost invisible tint of red. No matter how much you tell him to stop or glare at him, he knows your real feelings, he is very observant of you.

He also found it funny how guys approached you, they were either too scared to even look your way or overly confident. The way you rejected and glared at the guys them was different from how you threatened Shidou and while you thought it didn’t show, it very much did or at least he knew.

‘Is he really going to ask her out with that face?’ He thought every time he saw a guy trying to get a chance with you, because to him no other guy could put up with you unless it was him. Shidou is a handsome man and he is very much aware of it, but no matter how popular or how many girls and even guys would try to get his attention, there was something about you that drive him crazy.

Today was no different, you were helping Shidou with some math problems while he was just looking at you and glancing at your lips and how that gloss or whatever you had really suited you.

“Hey I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me today, what do ya think?” He grinned, totally ignoring your previous questions about the math problems. “We could go to the coffee shop, the mall…” He spoke in a sultry tone, leaning closer to you and placing a hand on your knee.

“Are you even listening to me?” You glared at him, unfazed by his closeness.

You were here just to help him out, nothing else or that’s what you wanted to believe because it was becoming very hard to reject Shidou when he was the only one that made your heart race and you hated that. You hated feeling vulnerable and weak, but truth always comes out or that’s what they say.

“Come on, lighten up a bit sweetheart~” He leaned closer as he placed his other arm around your shoulders. “I think we should take a break from studying, don’t ya think?”

“I think you should stop and really start to solve your math problems.” Your glare intensified, but at the same time you didn’t back away from him.

“Is that really what you want?” He whispered as his lips were inches away from yours, his deep voice making a shiver ran down your spine.

You huffed and slightly looked away, Shidou could see how your ears were slightly red, he was getting to you. The smirk on his face widened at your reaction so he decided how much further he could go until you finally gave in your true feelings.

“Look at me.” He gently held your jaw and make you look at him and as he did, your lips almost brushed against his.

Your heart raced and you could feel his breathing from how close you were, while your breath hitched, his was calm and warm. You asked yourself how could he be so calm when you’re this close to each other? Simple, he liked you and he was so sure you wouldn’t back away, he was a hella confident guy. Worst you could do is slap him and even he would enjoy that.

“Do I make you nervous?” He smirked, glancing at at your soft lips.

You didn’t answer, couldn’t find the words, you wanted to push him away but at the same time you wished he was closer. You hated how you melted for his stupid flirting and how he was totally your type.

Shidou kept looking at you with his signature smirk, he placed a hand in your cheek and the other one in your nape as he suddenly smashed his lips against yours.

The kiss wasn’t sweet and soft, it was rough, hungry and full of passion and you didn’t stop him, instead you returned the kiss with the same energy. This feeling was better that words, finally giving in your desires. Shidou smirked through the kiss already knowing you’d obviously correspond him, he pulled you impossibly close to him as his hands wandered through your body. As the kiss deepened he let out a quiet moan while he pulled you to his lap.

The sound of some books falling made you jolt back and realize you were still in the school library having a supposed tutoring session. Both of you panting, faces red and your lips smeared of lipstick. Seeing him after that kiss made you flustered as hell you couldn’t even look him in the eye, your serious and cold demeanor completely melting away.

“Why’d you stop?” He tilted his head, gripping your thigh as he still kept you in his lap.

“Shidou we are supposed to be studying and we are at the library!” You huffed, looking down at his hand.

“So? Let them see and be jealous they can’t have you.” He chuckled lowly, squeezing your thigh.

You just rolled your eyes and looked away, you didn’t want to admit you enjoyed it.

“I’m gonna ask again sweetheart~” His usual smirk plastered all over his face as he gently grabbed your jaw, making you look his way. “Do you wanna go out today?”

You look away again, unable to see his way and not wanting to let him see this flustered side of you.

“Come on, answer me, I know you want to.” He chuckled slightly as his grip on your jaw tightened.

“F-fine… I’ll give you a chance…” You muttered and finally look his way and this time instead of seeing his usual cocky grin you got to see a genuine excited smile, your heart melting at the sight.

He looks so cute… You thought as you kept staring at him, mesmerized by the sight.

“You think i’m cute, don’t ya?” His usual smirk returned as he cupped your face, gently caressing your cheeks with his thumb.

You hated how he could read you so easily, you hated his smirk, how confident he was and you hated how he always got his way to get in to you.

But maybe, just maybe you didn’t hate it at all. Shidou’s impact was so strong your feelings turned from hate to love.

You finally hop in the pool, listening to your favorite song that he played on his speaker. You place your head on his chest as you both relax in the water.

“This is all we need.” I sigh, closing my eyes. Kenji slowly puts a hand on my cheek, making me open my eyes rather quickly. His thumb brushes over my lip before he gives me a peck on the lips.

he really likes cooking, so he’ll make food for you and will try new recipes

you were feeling happy and told him that if you were being all pissy at him, he should just not talk to you

you didn’t want to ruin your relationship or say something you didn’t mean, so you don’t him not to interact with you at those times

he still would, though, he would do little check ups on you to see if you were feeling okay, or if you wanted anything

if you were happy, he tried to keep you in that state for as long as he could

he thought you would stay happier if he gave you things, a lot of attention, and was overall with you more

it did work for a bit, until you randomly switched over, but he didn’t understand why

he would get impatient and frustrated with you at some points, but always managed to push through since he cared about you so much

he was normally the one to talk, but enjoyed hearing you talk more than you normally did

when you’re not feeling the best, he’ll bring you into the DX so you can help him fix up cars

it’s just a new thing for you to learn and to hang out with each other

he’s weirdly smart in some ways, so he’ll occasionally help you with history, since he was always into that

when you were feeling really happy, he’d invite you to hang out with the gang

he knew you appreciated it and would invite you whenever he could

Adam was never one for tears, he was a man, the first one at that! His pride would never let himslef ever be perceived as weak.

But once he got sent to Hell, after his death during the extermination, while that damn snake was in his place — the only feeling he felt was weakness.

Adam had stayed in his room in the hotel ever since he came, begrudgingly that is, he didn’t want to be here. He shouldn’t be here.

But somehow, Charlie somehow let him come, much to his surprise, as well as dismay, but let’s be real here, he’d he pissed either way.

He curled up against the pillow, sighing, shakily, as hot tears slipped down his cheeks. “Damnit.”

Unbeknownst to him, a knock came from the other side of the door, Charlie made you drop off Adam’s ‘Welcome Package’ — When you didn’t get a response you creaked open the door.

“Adam?” You called from the other side of the room. He didn’t look at you, he couldn’t look at you.

“Leave.” He said, his voice cracking, despite the fact that he was attempted to hold back his sobs.

You set down his basket from Charlie on his nightstand. He felt his bed dip as you sat next to him. “It’s cause you’re here right?”

“The fuck are you talking about?” Adam sniffled. “Why you’re upset. It’s cause your here, right?” You elaborate.

He doesn’t say anything. You rub his knee, in attempts to comfort him. “I promise, it’s not as bad here as you think.”

You sigh. “I didn’t think it’d be great here when I first came here either, but this became my home - my family. You’ll get used to it, with time.”

Adam didn’t say anything. But deep down, his heart felt just a tad bit warmer from your words.

Due to the upcoming extermination, Charlie was more stressed than ever, she was upset with herself. Upset that her and Heaven couldn’t band together. Upset that it had to end in this way.

“So if it turns out that we don’t make it, there’s something that I’ve been dying to say.” You pull her into a hug, before mumbling in her ear, “You need to know I love you more than anything.”

Husk

You had caught Husk in his vulnerability at a private time. You knew about his deal with Alastor, but never knew the extent of it.

“Good talk, my good man, always nice to catch up!” Alastor said, leaving Husker defenseless, shaking on the floor, as you hid on the other side of the hall.

Husk got up, slowly, and then leaned against the wall, muttering a small ‘Damnit…’

You approached him, “Are you okay?” You ask, very hesitantly, you know Husk is more of a listener then someone to vent, but there was no harm in trying.

Husk sighs, low and gruff, but so hurt, it hurt you. “Made a shitty deal I regret, and I can’t take it back, y’know.” Husk answered, using his claw to wipe a few tears from under his eyes.

You’re unsure of what to do, you’ve never seen him like this, you smile at him softly, and open your arms for him, “Hug?”

Husk chuckles at your innocent antics, “Seriously?” He asks with a smirk, “Totally seriously!”

He sighs jokingly, clambering over to you, accepting your embrace. “This is so stupid.”

“You know you love it!” And you’re right, he did.

Sir Pentious

It was no secret that Pentious wanted to be an equal to the Vee’s, at least, before he officially started staying at the hotel.

And when Vox called him a ‘miserable failure’, it hit hard.

When Sir Pentious entered his room for the night, he shooed his eggs away, left with a sour taste in his mouth from Vox’s words.

A knock comes from Pentious’ door, he goes to answer it, trying to sniffle away his tears, he opened the door to see you.

The shit that is leaving this nigga’s mouth right now is nothing short of absolutely appalling to you right now.

Just 15 minutes ago, you literally just walked into the house and put your purse down on the seat closest to you. You haven’t even had the chance to take your shoes off before you hear your name being called from down the hall by your boyfriend.

“YES BABE?” you called back. He didn’t answer. You rolled your eyes and took your shoes off the walked down to where you heard his voice come from, your bedroom. You walked in and see him laying on your bed shirtless, pants hanging low on his hips and had one hand laying over his face.

Damn he looked good.

“Babe you called me? I just got in” you told him. Still he doesn’t answer. Wordlessly, he moved his hand from his face and looked at you with a weird look on his eyes.

“Are you okay?”

Still nothing.

Now you were getting pissed off. If he didn’t want anything, why’d he call you? You look back at him, waiting for him to say something, anything, and still nothing. He just lays there.

Rolling your eyes, you turn on your heel, ready to leave the room since obviously he doesn’t want anything nor has anything to say.

And surprise surprise, that’s when he speaks.

“I ain’t say you could leave.” His voice is low, and almost.. menacing?

You turn back around and look at him.

“Well you didn’t say anything at all so I thought I should just be on my way.”

Sighing, he gets up from the bed and walks over to you as you watch him.

He stands directly in front of you and then grabs your face with one of his hands and cranes your neck to look at him.

“Who else you fuckin’ hm?” He asks so calmly, raising his eyebrow at you.

The sheer audacity of this man to ask you this question, and now give you the silent treatment. He asked the question and when you tried to explain, you were once again met with silence.

Minutes go by as you practically trailed behind him around the whole apartment to ask him what the hell he was talking about. You told him that he’s being ridiculous and continued asking where he even got that idea from.

At this point you’re getting frustrated.

“Armando I don’t know where the fuck you’re getting this from but if you think I cheated on you then I’m telling you I didn’t!” Your voice was hoarse and your chest was tightening by the second.

How could he accuse you of doing something like this?

He looked at you standing in front of him, practically shaking in place and scoffed. “You know if you’re gonna lie about it.. don’t leave evidence behind.. eso es una tontería.” Now you scoff, you can’t believe what you’re hearing right now.

“What fucking evidence?! Where was it huh? Where’d you find it?”

He looks at you unamused then sits up because at this point, he had been sitting on the couch, with his arms resting on his knees and he was hunched over.

He pulls out his phone and throws it on the table in front of you. “Unlock it and see.”

At this point you’re shaking so violently you feel like you’re in a blender packed with ice. You pick up the phone and unlock it and the first thing you see are an assortment of text messages, screenshots and supposed photos with you and other men.

“This isn’t fucking me.” You threw the phone back done, having seen enough. They all looked convincing to the naked eye but you knew you didn’t have anything to do with any other man that wasn’t him.

“Yeah? Then who is it?” He asks condescendingly. He’s staring you down with such disgust in his eyes it makes you want to double over and throw up right there in the living room.

“I DON’T FUCKING KNOW!” Your voice is shaky and you feel lightheaded. The only thing you can do now is to sit on the floor, just so you don’t fall over and hit your head, or injure yourself in any other way.

“Where the hell did you even get that bullshit from?” Holding your head in your hand, you didn’t even look up at him. You were beyond anxious and stressed about the whole thing.

He leans back in the couch and manspreads, looking at you looking absolutely distraught and confused on the ground. “¿Y por qué debería decirte perra infiel?”

And at this point, you’ve reached your absolute limit.

“NIGGA WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE TALKING TO?”

Getting up off the floor, you circle the little table separating the both of you and then proceeded to get up in his face.

Armando are you fucking serious?” At this point you’re crying, pools of tears cascading down your cheeks as you give this man a piece of your mind.

“I am so devoted and in love with you and you treat me like some common fucking street whore that would leave you to fuck other men? You’ve given me the silent treatment and seem convinced that I’d actually do something like this when I’M the one that coordinates and works with your dad for when you get out of jail, I’M the one that cleans all those damn cuts, stabs and scrapes you come back here with, I’M the one that’s up with you all night if you can’t sleep. I cook, I clean, and I take care of you when you need me to and now you’re believing some other motherfucker over me?! And if that wasn’t bad enough, you won’t even tell me who told you all this shit! And then after all that you call me a bitch?! Are you fucking kidding me?!”

Armando is floored at your outburst. He hears the raw emotion in your voice paired with the look of heartbreak and like you’ve been kicked in the stomach all over your face. As you finish you just sink to the floor, completely and utterly exhausted and defeated.

How could he do this to you.

Even after you’ve said all that, he says nothing.

Absolutely nothing. It’s like his mouth had been wrapped with duct tape multiple times. He didn’t even murmur or whisper anything.

He just sat there.

Your definitive next words are what jump starts his brain again.

“Get out.”

It’s been about 2 hours have passed and you’re wrapped up in bed, laying in a ball while, at this point, softly crying. 2 whole hours has gone by and you haven’t moved since Armando left. You haven’t ate, used the bathroom, hell you were still in the clothes you were in earlier when you just got home.

You’ve cried so much your eyes burn and your body feels heavy. To be quite honest you’re mentally and emotionally exhausted. You just want to understand the situation better and put this behind you because if you didn’t, you knew you’d be incapable of doing anything else until you get a grip on your emotions.

And apparently your boyfriend has the same idea.

You heard the front door of your apartment open and close, followed by footsteps. Growing up in a black household, you were already familiar with knowing who it was that was walking down the hallway. So you knew, even before hearing his voice or seeing his face, that’s it was Armando.

He comes straight into your bedroom and stood at the entrance of your room, because the door wasn’t closed. He didn’t say anything, he just looked at your frame laying on the bed facing the way.

You get nervous and tried to steady your breathing.

“Mama?” He called out.

You didn’t answer, why would you when he didn’t give you the same courtesy?

And you guessed he picked up on that because he just continued.

“Lo siento mamá, la cagué.. i shouldn't have said those things but i got so angry when i thought you were..—“ he trails off. He took a deep breath and continued. “I got possessive.. that’s what my dad said anyways.. I uh.. I talked to him about it and he told me I fucked up. I should’ve let you explain and I should have listened to you. I let me not knowing how to deal with this shit hurt you and I ain’t want to be a person to do that to you… I’m sorry baby.. te amo mamá.. mucho.”

You always cursed at yourself, knowing you were too weak to him when you found yourself turning around to face him. He watched as you turned and when he saw your face, he felt terrible. Immediately he reached out to wipe the little tears rolling down your cheeks but stopped himself. He knew in this moment he didn’t have the right to touch you.

He looked at you first, and you looked back at him, silently.

“Babe I’m so sorry.. I ain’t used to talking much but.. I won’t treat you like that again.. prometo.” You sit up slowly as he watches. “Don’t ever call me nothing disrespectful like that again or I promise your father will be digging my nails and teeth out of your chewed up body parts.”

He laughs a little. “Te lo prometo bebe.”

He spent the rest of the night showering you in love. He bought you a bouquet of roses and got your favorite food. He held you on his lap and kissed your tears away, promising you he’ll never do that again and tells you to kill him if he does it again.

Truth be told you don’t know if he meant that literally.

You spent the night laughing and giggling at his attempts to make you feel better. Yes he did hurt you a lot, but you can tell he was genuine about his apology and that made you feel better. You know he doesn’t have much experience with relationships, so you want to learn and grow with him.

Still though, he better not cross that line again.

Afterwards after the situation was settled to a degree, he finally explained the entire situation to you, saying it was apparently one of your so called “friends” that orchestrated the entire thing. She made fake messages, fake call logs, and even went as far as editing those pictures to make it look like you.

The bitch just wanted your man.

And the gag is, Armando didn’t even know who she was, she sent everything to him anonymously. The only reason you knew it was her was because of how she texted the messages, she used phrases that you wouldn’t normally use in messages.

And your slow ass boyfriend didn’t even notice. Men and their lack of attention to detail.

Safe to say both you and Armando were ready to handle her ass. But before that.. he had to handle you🩷.
