3/31/25 EDIT: The information below is outdated! Just keeping it for archival purposes. Basically, the idea of having to write 20+ covers has been kind of weighing on me and killing my motivation for this project. So ! instead, I'll be releasing a tracklist with notes on what happens in each song soon[ish] and will be only writing/illustrating the covers that I'm confident and interested in. Whatever covers I get to writing probably won't be in chronological order as I'd like to keep this project a little more open ended and free for me :]

The information below on what the covers/drawings will look like is still accurate, but the rest is outdated.

I'm gonna try to keep talking to a minimum on these in the future, but I figured I should provide some context as this is the first piece. Sooo yeah ! Here's the first song in William's Wanton Weary Wiles! See masterpost for context ^^ these will all be released in chronological order, in the form of written Jash-style (changing some lyrics to fit the story) Will Wood covers. I'll be hyperlinking each original song in the cover titles so people can get a sense of what it would sound like, +for credit ofc :] Most of them will also be accompanied with some sort of art piece !! The majority will probably just be little somewhat shitty sketches such as the one featured here (for the sake of my sanity lol. and also cuz. frankly. I like them :3), but I might have some full pieces too at some point. Formats and realistically a few other aspects are probably gonna be somewhat inconsistent as I'm not the best planner, sorry in advance but also. This is my project and I wanna keep it fun and doable ^^

So it turns out there's a big craft guild organization thing only a few hours from where I live (I saw an ad for their craft fair), and I got like half my holiday shopping done on their website, and the box arrived today! The thing I was most excited to see in person is fragile, though, and it's really well wrapped in bubble wrap and I don't want it to break when I mail it to the friend it's for, so I am not unwrapping it, but oh man the temptation is there lol I also got myself a little metal bug made of a bottle cap and some wire. It lives on my little corkboard where I put postcards and thank you cards now

Literally had a BIG motivation to draw Peebii & Jaylene with Abel & Adam is almost like twin sisters meeting twin brothers:D

I think this two would get along very well,Abel teaching her some spell that he learn and comfort her if she feel nervous and might be SUPER OVERPROTECTIVE since Abel is the eldest twin and they would even talk together the cult they join with Jevin

Adam & Peebii

I felt like they would both have chaotic relationships (mostly BC of Peebii) but still have the best younger brother and big sister energy and I can tell Peebii would love to bully Adam with bugs and centipedes XD Then I thought something evil in my head by Peebii literally saw Adam's head flew off from his body after being murdered by Black

if *I* were in charge of making a bumblebee centered project in the mid 2010's, instead of making him a teacher for younger characters in a post war setting, i would have used him to explore the war from the perspective of the youngest and most vulnerable autobot. i want to go back to cybertron and see how bumblebee, the kind and gentle spirit, has only ever known a war torn world and yet he still wants to fight with everything in him to get a glimpse of what once was or at least make it possible for those who will come after him.

i want to see him being trained amidst the horrors of war, desperate to fill a role anywhere he can, hearing stories from older and wiser characters and distant memories of his world before the war, even before the underlying conflicts that caused it. i want to see him learn about optimus and become more and more fascinated by him before finally getting to meet him. they fight side by side briefly and optimus chooses bumblebee personally to be his team's scout. story can end with the beginning of g1 where they crash and wake up on earth and look out at the sunrise on the horizon together or something idk. this would be a fire videogame.

I think A Lot of them just underestimate just How Much of the fandom is skk dominated when skk's role in the official media is just.. proportionately Not That Large (even I before starting bsd thought that it's be a central thing and was pleasantly surprised when it was not)

skk shippers have Everything and then some (see tags) so ig it just surprises me how often you see skk shippers shitting on or leaving backhanded comments on Literally Every Other Dazai ship's posts for not being/comparing to skk and then getting pissy when the ppl complain abt that behavior when they could just? ignore it and turn to the gold mines of skk content instead-

And I understand it isn't all shippers who do that but those denying it's happening entirely are also quite silly to me-
