I know it's been updated for the new patch, but is anyone having issues with UI Cheats?

I need to find out what mod is messing up my ui and causing my game to freeze :/ I literally can’t go into build n buy in live mode and for some reason when I switch sims in the household the moodlets and ui start disappearing:(

so i've got stuck on something simple and it's driving me insane

i'm creating a calendar to slot to the sides of the fridge in my kitchen set. and i really wanted it to be useful, not just random clutter, so i decided i was going to make it functional and have it bring up the real in-game calendar. cute lil idea, should be easy, yeah?

my god it is not easy

i can bring up the notebook and phone ui... every icon but the one i want. i have no idea what the command to bring up the calendar could be, and i've tried SO many

i was so determined to get it working i even ventured into python for the first time to look through the game files. for hours on end i've searched 'calendar' and 'event' and 'ui' and 'holiday' and 'dialog' and everything else i could think of, but none of the commands i try do anything

like who was i even kidding installing PyCharm 😭 over here breaking out in a sweat watching 'absolute beginner!! a baby could code this!!!' tutorials

anyway, i never get any responses posting in the Sims 4 Studio forum, but if any modders see this post 1) i apologize for being a novice on main and 2) i would be eternally grateful for your help, or even just a nudge in the right direction. the file is here and right now the interaction opens the phone

it grinds my gears to give up on an idea, but i've wasted an embarrassing amount of time messing with this. so for now, defeated, i'm going back to my microwave 😔

ive been playing the sims 2 for six hours straight without cheats (except one measly motherlode) + mods and it's harder than i remember??? my stupid sims are one missed meal from dying. help

Recently @cinamun asked her dash how much we allow our Sims in terms of aging, turning the 'autonomy' function on etc. ... and it made me realise that within the past two weeks, I was actually able to be a Watcher in more than name only? Mostly because of the two saves I've been playing (Asylum Challenge and my BC concept playtesting), I have only young adults and up. And because I want to test the BC as authentically as possible, unless someone's needs are majorly in the red or Vlad decides to take a nap in the party bush just as the sun is rising (I kid you not), I only really control my main character.

It is going to be rough when I return to my Odd Money Legacy Challenge, where my current gen has a toddler and two infants :x But most of the beds, plumbing and appliances are fully upgraded, both parents have the STEEL BLADDER reward trait - and @ravingsockmonkey was kind enough to send me a spellcaster as the baby daddy, who is now a virtuoso and knows a slew of Practical Magic spells.

Also he has an abundance of Plentiful Needs potions on hand...

hey isa!! I've just updated my game after a while and everything broke? It's been months since I've updated but I had to remove many mods because I got a frozen white screen in cas.. also are sliders broken?? It feels weird adjusting sims details. Cas columns ist also broken - do you use an alternative for it? ;-;

oh god, i’m sorry to be no help because i’ve been hiding in offline mode for months. i actively avoid updating as long as possible for these exact reasons. my mods folder is too big and i panic at the thought of sorting it.

if anyone else has updated and is able to help maybe they can in the replies!

okay i KNOW i saw someone make ed n stede in ts2 around here, but i cannot remember who it was !!!! does anyone remember? i want to ask if they'd upload their creations because guess who is spending the afternoon getting ts2 set up??? me!!!!!!!!!!!!

and guess who cannot bear to play without her sim blorbos in some way??? me 😞

i mean i guess i'll eventually try to make my own if all else fails, but i am so bad at doing sims that are supposed to look like someone 😂

i just need to be able to continue putting them in domestic situations across all games, you know?
