I'm a sucker for a good enemies to lovers story too so dkjhjshdf I'm so happy for this! Anyway let's begin!

My forever and always favorite enemies to lovers story is "404" by my beloved @freedomfireflies When I say I need 404!harry, I couldn't mean it more! I had a dream about him for real 😭 It's so well written and you can literally feel the tension between the two characters. 404!harry is my baby and I want to put him in my pocket and have him there forever. It's everything you could ask for in a story with that trope. 🙌 😍 (personal fav: a-mazing and jealous - I was on my knees)

Also please do yourself a favor and read @harrys-titties "Harry's a dick and Y/N hates him for it". It's really amazing! The way she built their relationship was precious 🥰 And I loved that Harry's best friend was Sarah, it was a beautiful touch. When you will start reading it, you will find yourself unable to put it down. (um also I have the "y/n and harry hate each other, until they don't" in my "to read list" and I'm sure it will be amazing)

Additionally "grumpy h" by my favorite @cupid-styles is *chef's kiss* seriously. I really liked how their dynamic began to change and they were so soft for each other 😇 so cute 🥰 Oh and I almost forgot it! "You're my last shot" is an enemies to lovers story too and believe me it's so sweet, I loved it. I was reading the blurbs until 3 AM in the morning hehe 😇

Of course it's not a proper rec list for enemies to lovers stories if I don't mention "aster" by @moonchildstyles ! It is really good! Like reallyyy good😍 It's the cutest thing ever hdshgjghshjg Now I'm thinking about it, I will reread it 😍 I was obsessed with this the first time I read it.

Also "Ballerina Y/N and Ballerina Harry" by @jawllines ! Oh my God, it's so good! Actually I can't express how good it is, words aren't enough! I just love it. I started rereading it actually the other day and I couldn't stop myself. I have a soft spot for it 😇 Their chemistry is everything! 😍 The characters are amazing and Y/N is a queen! Also Ballerina!Harry is exactly my type so 😇

@be-with-me-so-happily has a great enemies to lovers story too! "Not what we bargained for" is freaking good 😍 Had a great time reading it!

Oh and of course "Harry is Y/N's producer & she doesn't like him" and "Y/N & Harry kind of hate each other but have to walk together in their friends' wedding party" by @0nlythrowharrybeaux ! Her stories are so addictive 😍 Her writting has an incredible flow 😍

One last thing: it's not actually a story but @justlemmeadoreyou ' headcanons are crazy and I guarantee you that the mean!friends with benefits!harry headcanons are so f*cking hot 😱check them out 😍 (also she's making a series based on them, part 1 is out and I'm telling you it's so good! Cant' wait for the next part! - it may be a friends with benefits trope but they started as enemies, they didn't like each other much so yeah that's why I put it here)

ahzrukhal - wheow where to even begin. nitpicky clean freak but only in his immediate area otherwise he cannot be bothered with mess, picks up cups by the inside whenever posible, VERY averse to coughing near him < generally kind of petty bc he knows he can get away with it, SMUG, he drinks on tha job more than he probably SHOULD, the whole deal w charon, doesnt like getting his own hands dirty most ideal if he can pin the blame on someone else, laughs at his own jokes, grinds his teeth, dirty liar, covetous, misogynist, HOWEVER lesbians seem to like him (me an sydney fo3), i think he ate a guy onces,

barrows - i do see him as a bit of a sicko but he doesnt really realize it. dark sense of humor it is NOT always appropriate for tbe situation at hand, can come off as cold or cruel. he likes to debate and will not admit to being wrong

carol - bites her nails crazy style, apologizes Too much, putting others before herself..... she does have a bit of a catty and rude side too, snippy when shes tired

crowley - no 1 underworld complainer 1 year running and he's going for a second....... really negative outlook he is very vocal about, rude, ungrateful, argumentative. pushes people away even when they like, Do genuinely care. sad! super not emotionally with it, denies that he's an alcoholic. suuuper stubborn. holds grudges till he will die

graves - she leaves the terminal on all night it drives barrows insane. takes gum out of her mouth and stretches it and chews it again < disgostang. she gets frustrated easily, starts and gives up on projects easily

greta - very blunt, overly defensive of her loved ones n possessive of carol iirc.... the former reigning champion of no 1 underworld complainer title, loves to ignore customers to go take a smoke break, terrible cook, HUUUUUGE gossip

griffon - he's just pathetic really....... um. acts without thinking, really really good at pissing people off but not always intentionally. talks in circles, contradicts himself if he realizes he's wrong trying to come out on top. he oversleeps and overthinks

patches - besides the drinking and his physical bodily condition by far his worst habit is stashing things in weird places and forgetting. YEARS down the line he remembers something and cant find <ahah i do that. also i notice he steals snowflakes bed all the timeeeee

quinn - he tends to ramble. not that bad. leaves his shoes on and tracks dirt inside

snowflake - spacey, even without the jet habit. will forget what theyre talkin about mid-sentence.

tulip - her only flaw was ever caring too mucch. also bites her nails/lips/inside of her mouth i guess

willow - she loves playful teasing but can go too far. sarcastic, will always insist to do something herself over someone else offering to do it for her

winthrop - has a hard time telling people no. puts other peoples' needs before his own, lets work get in the way of taking care of himself. needs like a weeks vacation really

roy philips - well he's just the worst of the bunch as he was a cop prewar. temds toward speaking over people. takes credit for others' ideas, generally acts without thinking

bessie lynn - alsooo apologizes too often, veey little confidence in herself and defers too easily to other people. non-confrontational to a fault

michael - hes just old. loves to point out the obvious, tho if u get him going abt somwthing he's well-versed in he's a bit pretentious and uses Too much technical jargon

Allow me to present my Half propaganda!

- The slower tempo adds a very relaxing feeling to the song. Kinda ironic, but I like it! It sort of reminds of old indie songs from 2012 (especially with what I think is whistling added in the instrumental in-between chorus and verses.)

- Kazui’s voice. Enough said.

- It’s very easy to listen to, and I find it’s one of the only songs from Milgram that I like to listen to out of context (besides After Pain, Backdraft, and Purge March, oddly enough.)

- The MV is rife with imagery, and is used to beautiful effect. It really makes you feel for Kazui and his situation.

- The scene with him and Hinako before the key change… that makes me so emo.

- The overlapping part at the end… the lyrics combined with the dialogue in the background makes me really sad in a way I can’t explain.

Propaganda for MAGIC:

MAGIC MY BELOVED MAGIC!!! Its one of the best MVs in the entire series, even including T2. Magic is visually stunning and has some fantastic art direction but also is very clever in how it conveys its themes and ideas. Magic doesn't really hide anything from you, not really. It's all symbolic but it Tells You Things. It shows you the abuse, it shows you the cat. There's a fun little relationship going on here where, In Magic. Amane's pain and suffering isn't taken seriously by the people around her and the Audience we are discouraged to take it at face value due to the fictionalized nature of Magic. It's so cool. I'm so fond of the song as well, it's one of the best in the series purely cause of the Layers in it. The implications of this Inability to be good is seeped into Magic. Amane knows this isn't reality, Magic knows it's a show, she watches it at the end. And it's so Sad to me that even in her fictionalized happy world she Cannot be a good girl. It's a standard completely out of reach for her and that idea is just conveyed so well visually.

Im not even talking about the goddamn cat yet- the cat symbolism goes Deep. That cat is HER it has the same wounds Amane has in Purge March. I- I cant talk about the intertextuality of Purge March and Magic here this is Magic propaganda only- I- there's so much good stuff to Magic. I Re watched it over and over again. It has some the Best Writing and Visual Communication in Milgram and I will Die on this Hill.

CHILLS. im repeating myself but the fact that they were able to portray the awful things amane went through in a genuinely emotional way while still keeping the cute cartoon look is soo impressive

there are SO many layers to itill the entire cartoony style making it look like a tv show… utilizing the cartoony effects and bright colors to show amane downplaying her own pain… the transformation after she gets punished barely changing anything to show just how manipulated she was from the start… ueueueue

ALSO ALSO ALSO THE SCENE AT THE END WITH AMANE STARING AT THE SCENE? OHHH ITS SO GOOD it adds such a feeling of dread and reminds you on top of this whole thing that all of this is truly horrifying! something is going on here!

oh absolutely, one of my favorite Wilson Subjects.

um wilson having bipolar 2 is something i think of as essentially canon. it would have been potentially problematic for him to be on mood stabilizers as a physician (medical licensure is.. really ableist...) which imo serves as an explanation for why he is on antidepressants- also makes depressive episodes objectively canon.

(hypo)mania leads him to make a lot of weird ass decisions! he's got impulsivity problems that would look a lot worse if he didn't have house around to make him look comparatively normal, with two great examples being in birthmarks- the broken mirror in new orleans and when house pisses him off at the funeral home.

he's got relationship habits that are pretty bipolar-typical; he gets in emotionally intense and often sexually-driven relationships (bonnie says as much) that burn out fast. this isn't like, bipolar diagnostic criteria or anything, but it's a common experience.

imo one of his most manic incidents in the show is his 2nd relationship with sam: he gets in this relationship on a whim and then KICKS HOUSE OUT about it. he PROPOSES TO HER AT SOMEONE ELSE'S WEDDING, a decision that just about anyone can recognize as a huge social faux pas! something HE would usually say is a stupid choice and a bad idea! this immediately explodes in his face.

also.. the paper he wrote about euthanasia! another vaguely manic decision. house kind of saved him from the fallout of that one.

oh, yeah and the fucking CHEMO DUDE FUCK!!!! severe black-and-white thinking moment from him that leads him to make a decision that is actually completely detached from reality. he is manic for this entire arc which would not on its own contribute to a bipolar dx due to clear and obvious stressor but as a character i already think of as having it... contributes. kyle, especially.

there are like. more examples. i cant think of more off the top of my head but there are. i am going to make a tag on my blog for this so that i can add to it as i think of them.

in the format of ‘Thing (example)’

Injures self doing something mundane (sprains ankle walking up or down small flight of stairs ir on flat surface, pricks finger chopping veggies, etc)

Says one thing, means something else (*holding a potato* *says with full confidence* this is a tomato.)

Does mundane, simple task Very Wrong (places sword with the clothes and tries to stuff scarf in the scabbard)

Switches the order of two words in a sentence (the waterproof says it’s bandaid)

Zoning out. Especially mid sentence. (“As i was saying, we should, um, *zones out*)

Says things that literally dont make sense [taking an example from my dear friend Tellie this time— “two stone birds.” (<instead of two birds one stone)]

Brain goes blank/shuts down when they try to do something mildly complicated (‘quick whats 2+5?’ ‘Um. Uh. 8.’)

No inhibitions or restraint (*is not one to show much affection* *walks in, sits down next to friend/crush/lover/etc, and immediately cuddles with them and/or falls asleep*

Tsudere /sub Jax that pretends to hate the reader but does things to secretly be with them x a fem happy but smart Uzadere that loves being in the circus.She loves adventures,animals,cute things,fighting,food ect! lots of energy too but can be pretty insensitive and a little selfish with a little crush on jax. I feel like at first jax would completely reject liking her then he would be extra mean,then Maybe subconsciously know he likes her amd hates the feeling lol. cus he copes by trying to not have feelings and tries to act "tough". its pretty obvious that the reader is in love with him but his dumb ass cant catch on . She gives lots of compliments which makes him flustered and mad ( he is mad bc he thinks nobody likes him that much, he is mean to her to make her go away but it doesn't work ) but he pretends not to care. the reader would definitely confesses first tho. Sorry for such a long request its just that not many people write jax in this sorta way so i had to be detailed lol. also if you don't wanna use female pronouns you can make it non gender ofc 😅tysm for even reading such a long thing! and you don't have to do this at all lr you can switch it up. Anything is VERY appreciated tho😊

Lil backstory : When You first got here it was around 7 months before pomni gets into the circus. your reactions to seeing all the supposed people was terrifying u were laughing your brains of since u thought it was all just a big prank but once u realized it was real u were just stunned. I mean u were still amazed like wow i'm in a virtual reality type of reaction. And about what u look like idk that up to yourself but lets say Ur like a type of animal could be a cat or something else. U were always ecstatic to be in the circus and everybody even Caine were surprised. Like it not everyday in this virtual reality u see a person who is more than happy to be there. (also i'm not really gonna add Kaufmo since their is little to no info bout him)

Okay now to the good stuff

So really your weren't stupid to not notice how Jax would occasionally "look ur way to see something else" nor to notice how differently he treated u compared to the others. Either he would go out of his way to be nice or mean to you.

You were chatting bout random nonsense with zooble when she said

"Hey Y/n do you see how much of a dumb### Jax's looks like just looking at you"Looking at you then at Jax then at you.

"no lemme check"You turned around to see jax looking away from you to above you? yea he was doing the "look ur way to see something else" crap again.

"ugh it starting to annoy me" Says Zooble wanting to stand up and start to beat the crap out of Jax but thankfully u stopped her then said

"hey its okay he may be weird and all but we got to be used to this anyway where stuck here"

Then u spoke up

"Ugh lets head to my room to discuss the plan" says ragatha getting up

You three walk all he way to the room corridors and enter Ragatha's Room and discus how you would get Jax to confess his feelings to you.

"Okay so how should we do this" says Ragatha with some confusion in her face

"Well we know that Jax is a very Um- how should I say this es stupid and lets just say hes like a little puppy who follows you around" Says zooble before you with shook face say

"WAIT what is that supposed to mean I never see him trailing behind me"

"He does he always trails behind you buts ur either dumb or blind since u never see him literary behind u. ALL THE TIME" Says Zooble

"Well um- we should get started with the plan and stop taking bout how Jax is a little twerp" Says Ragatha with a bit of an annoyed face splatted in her face

"Okay okay well first of all since we know Jax is like a little dog with nothing else to do than follow Y/n we should..........."Says Zooble spilling out what the plan would be about.

Well basically the plan is make Jax follow u around Y/n complements Jax every time he does something for her even the smallest of things like letting u have the first of anything picking up flowers for u,him pranking u and much more.

Everything was going according to the plan Jax being Jax follows you around and sneaks up on you with a centepied (which ur scared of) and lands it right besides u trying to get a scared yelp from u but instead u just threw it away and said

"Jax u little bad bunny don't do that again" while pinching his cheek just slightly

"~wait you aren't mad?" Says Jax while becoming a blushing mess

"no of course not bunny boy come on lets go outside"

you two go outside and jax keeps trying to make your way there horrible by trying to trip ur feet over and over again but failing miserably.

Once you both are by the lake you start to look around and see Zooble and Ragatha watching impatiently.

"So what are we doing here again?" says Jax

"nothing much just .. Taking in some fresh air i guess"

"Y/n there is no fresh air here u know that right?" says Jax with a serious face

"Oh um i meant like ..... space apart of everyone"

"ok i guess then what should we do?" says Jax with a sly smile appearing in his face

"how about we go on the tea cups?"

"whatever you want toots" says Jax

Both spend 2 hours trying all the rides over and over, Jax never saying crap

As the day ends in the digital realm first comes the digital dinner the classic chicken and veggies.

After that, Caine suggested that you all play a quick game, and with no other option, everybody agrees.

"yay i guess" says zooble clearly annoyed they have to do this activity even tho it is fun she wants her alone

After the game which took around 30 min like damn these dudes have great hiding spots ,Caine gave everybody the green light to finally have there alone time/sleep

"UGH finally" Zooble before walking up to you

"Hey Y/n did Jax say anything to you?" Says Zooble quickly before she forgets about it

"No ... what should we do?"

"Hey idk bout you but i would of totally just make the first move at this point"Says Ragatha walking up to you both of you

"Well she has a point" "bout what?" "bout how you should def make the first move now since his dumb##s won't do S#it"

"okay I'll try but do i have to do it in front of u all or do i wait for everybody to leave?"

"Um okay new plan......." Says zooble making the new plan

Basically make gangle distract Jax long enough for everybody to leave to there rooms then gangle runs away, Then y/n will sneak up on Jax and spill the beans herself.

Everything went accordingly as planed gangle ran away just as she noticed everybody gone. Then Jax shrugs it of and slowly walks up to his room until...

"Hey Jax" "what do you want?" "not much just wanna talk to you...bout something"

"bout what dollfac-"

He says before being interrupted by a kiss

"does that answer ur question?"

"UM what was that?"... bb-but i guess it does"

"that's great! its official were dating"

"Wait WHAT!?" says Jax surprised as hell

"Goodnight Jax!" Says y/n as she gives one last kiss on his cheek

How I feel about this character: I LUV HIM . hes such a good and layered character and he adds so much to the themes of the whole franchise (especially mello and near's arcs) . love him 4 ever

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: i wish we got more about him and watari/wammy's house .... watari and wammy's house are just so underdeveloped as a whole . their dynamic is so interesting to meee ....... idk i havent read L change the world and the bb murder cases yet , i really really hope theres more in those two

ok second of all unfortunately i don’t really have much for u….if u r not aware i spent my entire summer after my first yr of law school watching horror & lesbian animes so i was legit scouring for them i KNOWWW the term is yuri i just like saying lesbian anyway i dont think i really came across anything that was abt adults but i think that’s kind of an issue w anime overall bc i also noticed that when i was looking for horror animes that they were like all abt teenagers i think i only watched one that was abt adults but that was not lesbian. but idk i am not an anime enjoyer so i dont really know abt that but point being i searched far & wide for all the lesbian animes there are AND my friend who is an anime enjoyer also sent me a list of lesbian animes she found (and she was specifically looking for ones that were recommended by lesbians when she was looking). so the thing is that i did not watch all of them bc i can only watch dubs bc of my focus issues so i dont have every single one i found on hand to check but i will say i do know of one where they are not minors but may still be teenagers? idk if that is an issue for u. but in otherside picnic they r college students (not freshman) tho it isn’t explicitly romantic but it is intended to be lesbian on purpose. i watched the first ep but i had to rewatch lycoris recoil & then i started law school again so i didn’t continue it but i did enjoy the first ep it combined my interest of lesbian and horror so. i did check my watchlist & nothing else on there was not teenagers but i am going to find the list my friend gave me in my texts & see if anything there w/o a dub was not teenagers. ok i should have done that first & just given u a more condensed response but um i cant do that for reasons. one sec. hi tumblr im talking about how qifrey / orufrey is so never love an anchor core ( i merged my two fixations and now im not normal ) so therefore i will be rambling about it [ this is pretty much just a chapter 40 analysis so SPOILER WARNING ]

so starting with the first verse, I interpreted this as qifrey and how his "hands being clumsy, not clever" referring to how qifrey went out of his way to erase oru's memory despite how oru was willing to help qifrey. personally, i think qifrey DID want help, but seeing how much of a personal desire this was, he couldn't have help because he knows that oru would suffer as well . qifrey is so caught up in his own world where he hurts the people around him . despite olruggio wanting to protect qifrey, qifrey wants to protect olruggio from what would come from trying to protect him.

this verse can shift to olruggio trying to "do the best that i could / but try as i might i couldn't bring myself to hold you" since qifrey was always just out of reach.

second verse i think is pretty on the nose . the "secret i keep tucked inside my chest / with this heart of mine that's guilty not remorseful" being qifrey's secret that he's losing his sight. he's worried that he won't be able to teach his students anymore. he would lose everything that he has worked so hard for. which is why he is so desperate and uses extreme measures to not lose what has driven him so far. sure, he feels guilty because he knows he has people who would follow in his footsteps. but this is a burden that has lived with him forever.

"there is love that doesn't have a place to rest / but it would have buried you if it had settled on your shoulders" once again referring to how oru and the girls at the atelier have love for qifrey, but it would crush him to accept the help since he knows that doing so would put them in far more danger.

the secret can also refer to qifrey knowing that the brimhats have some other ulterior motive that has to do with his right eye that would also put his loved ones in harms way.

this verse i think is more orufrey centered . specifically all that happens in chapter 40. my imagery is qifrey being the "ship" and oru being his "anchor" and trying to understand qifrey and not let him go to far and bring him back to earth before he gets hurt

BUT qifrey cannot allow this to happen . he knows what he wants and what he needs to do. and he cant accept the help others. he cant allow other people to interfere with his sorrows. yet he allows himself to open up and talk, only to "sever the rope to set him sailing from his harbor" and. you know what happens

um. Yeah! SORRY IF THIS WAS A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING i kinda just started rambling and hoping it made sense. i would go on with the rest of the song but i think i would just be repeating myself.

This ended up so much longer than I anticipated ( ��Aﾟ )

Okay okay okay I need to explain a lil thing real quick. Tang Sanzang (Tripitaka) did not torture Wukong, at least not intentionally. There was a really good post about it somewhere on here, but I cant seem to find it so I'll explain what I can.

First off, Tripitaka was the main character of the story, and while he had some flaws (ex: listening to Bajie too much), he was a good man, and would never want to torture any of his deciples, no matter how annoying they'd get. He's a Buddhist monk afterall, there's a whole no violence thing.

The golden circlet/crown was given to Tripitaka by Guanyin to act as a way to punish Wukong for things he does wrong. Think about it for a moment. Remember, Wukong was just released from under a mountain after terrorizing the entire celestial realm, becoming 7 times immortal (I think it was that many), fighting all the celestial armies, peeing on Buddah's hand. After being released, Wukong promptly killed a tiger and skinned it so he could use the skin as clothes.

SO YEAH, obviously Tripitaka would take her up on a crown that would give the monkey really bad headaches!!! (Reciting a specific scripture I forgot makes the crown shrink, but it doesn't kill Wukong because he's very super immortal).

Now the thing is, yes, he did use the spell on Wukong multiple times when Wukong had done nothing wrong, but a lot of those were because Bajie told him Wukong did something wrong, or he just didn't have all the facts. Now, I haven't read the Journey to the West either, and most of my knowledge comes from the Overly Sarcastic Productions videos summarizing the story (which you should watch, btw), so I dont have all the facts, nor do I have a perfect knowledge of the parts of the story I do know, however I am confident that Tripitaka did not intentionally tourture or abuse Wukong. I mean, Wukong cut off his own head once for fun, so idk what else to say, my guy.

Do I think that using the migrane spell is the most moral thing to do? No. Was the spell the only way to get Wukong to cooperate? At the very start, very possibly yes. Later? I'mnot sure. Is Tripitaka a bad guy for using it as much as he does? No, he didn't know better. Are the Wukong girlies wayyy to obsessed with angst? Yes, so very much. I fear for them.

It was not the point of the story for Tripitaka to be abusive. The story was meant to be symbolic. Each of the pilgrims symbolized a part of a person. Tripitaka was the heart, Wukong the mind, Zhu Bajie the body, Bai Longma the will, and Sha Wujing the emotions. (There are some lovely people on this hellsite who can explain the symbolism better than me, so you can go look into that if it interests you.)

All in all, every one of the pilgrims were pretty stupid (affectionate) in their own ways, and I hate seeing people hate on Tripitaka soecifically when the story is so ridiculous a lot of the time. I just love these silly little guys, and I think we need to remember that they are very silly. Tripitaka never meant to be cruel to Wukong just as in lmk Wukong and Macaque never meant to be cruel to each other in their past. All these idiots are pretty bad at communicating, and Tripitaka is incredibly socially awkward. Man doesn't know how friends work.

I just think we should cut him some slack for the mistakes he made. Yall forgave Wukong for all his chaos and bloodshed, so I think it'd just be fair to forgive Tripitaka for not really comprehending having hurt Wukong.

so i just started playing fallout 4 ,,, here are my preliminary opinions

- lame storyline, i don't want to be married heterosexual. idc abt this fuckass baby either.

- fr tho, it feels like the devs just chose the most generic backstory they could think of so they could get that part out of the way. it's not interesting or good. moreover, if that actually happened to a person, they'd be traumatized and terrified, not running around looking for guns and stimpaks. like, it feels like my character doesn't even give that much of a shit that this happened. like ooh the world ended, my wife was murdered, my infant child was kidnapped, it is 200 years in the future, but yeah no i don't have any questions, ill just roll with it. LAZY WRITING!

- also: how does the survivor know that his baby is still alive. the story has him frozen, unfrozen to witness murder and kidnapping, frozen again and then unfrozen to start the game. how am i supposed to know when that kidnapping happened? like yeah it could've been recent but it could also have been 100 years ago.

- upon exiting the vault you immediately start like 11 quests. why?? for what reason?? i just got here??

- do not love that feral ghouls will just lay on the ground waiting for you to get close enough so they can attack you. 1. its annoying, you get ambushed every time. 2. why would they be doing that, are they sleeping? waiting? doesnt make sense for them to be doing either of those things. they're feral, they wander around attacking whatever comes near them, they don't lie down and wait for prey, thats just ,,, not how they work?

- i especially dont like that the ghouls also dont show up as hostile on the little navigation bar until they get up. the whole point of that is so i know if there's hostiles in the area. if all the hostiles just sneak up on you, there's no reason to look at it.

- the fact that you can just max out your SPECIAL stats kinda defeats the purpose of those stats. the point is that it allows you to pick strengths and weaknesses for your character, instead of it being skills you can learn. it adds difficulty and personalization.

- i genuinely don't like the "improved" graphics. maybe its because my pc is shitty and i have to run low quality, but i cant see shit. especially all the harsh shadows make it really hard to gauge depth and to see things on the ground (like feral ghouls waiting to attack you).

- why is VATS under Q. thats dumb

- follow up: why are we now using the enter key and arrow keys in addition to wasd. let me keep my hand on the mouse instead of constantly having to switch (update: after 10 hours in-game i found out you can also press E, still stupid)

- why cant i just go up to people and ask them shit. why do i have to wait until they want to talk to me.

- i do like the whole settlement building thing. ive been having more fun with that than anything else tbh

- it is nice that you can make radaway and you dont have to rely on scavenging or bartering for it

- they are harsh on the raiders. like i get that they're enemies but labelling them 'raider scum' is a bit much. like thats still a person.

- in the intro thing they say war never changes at least 3 times. i get it. dont overdo it.

- also in the intro, they just say the US ended ww2 by dropping the bombs on hiroshima and nagasaki which is a VERY BOLD statement about history.

- i've barely encountered anyone who's nice. ive met preston and his friends but beyond that its basically been nothing but raiders. where are the friendly npc's? it makes the whole world feel hostile and empty

- the variety of weapons and mods is ,, actually a little too much. i don't know the difference between a pistol and a revolver, let alone what a receiver is. the game kind of expects you to just , understand what all these things mean and how to best modify your weapons. I don't. i barely know what i'm supposed to be looking at. "um yeah i definitely prefer the hardened enhanced glowsighted tempered auto pipe revolver pistol over the hardboiled standardized incendiary double barreled shotgun rifle" <- statement dreamed up by the utterly deranged

- recently encountered super mutants, why do they yell at you that they are super mutants. i know that. i mean, the character technically doesn't since no one's bothered to explain all the new creatures to him, but still.

anywho, ive only been playing for a week or so, so there might be more redeeming qualities later on. but so far im not very impressed

(acacia now) i also really liked it, haha….i never actually cared much for the fionna and cake episodes in adventure time, but the way they did it here was so so interesting--i think i just really like normal ass people in fantasy stories and it was done really well here, i FELT fionna's energy okay. i too do all of those things.

i was not expecting the stuff with simon and betty but i really liked it!! i found it very interesting…also i pinged it early on like 'huh this seems. mildly unheathly wonder if they do anything with that' and they did! which was great for me personally.

i dont know! i really like stories about fighting for the world you get even when its not perfect…i think the ending did that SO WELL, because like, we get some magic that sticks around (mostly cake) but the world itself doesnt become this fantasy magical land…for the most part its very real.

bubbline was my favorite part of adventure time and i really liked gary/marshall here but WHY DID THEY DO BUBBLEGUM DIRTY LIKE THAT…of all the names they picked GARY??? like. barry is right there………..truly the only choice i do not understand. cannot fathom how they got gary. is this payback for all of bonnie's unethical sciencing. honestly thats fair.

also me watching pb and marcy in the vampire world: oh yeah i might be aromantic but i am 100% gay too always nice to be reminded

overall! we had a BLAST watching this and now that we're done i. i dont know what we're gonna do with our time anymore.

this is maybe getting a bit into unhinged headcanons territory but i really like associating Like a Dog with his relationship with Ren specifically (i mayhaps have Too Many thoughts about those two). i feel like with bigb there's like.. this distinct flavour of angst that's not quite edgy enough to be people allergy and not quite self-loathing enough to be nonsense speaker (although if your headcanons for him land more in that territory i highly recommend those songs).

there's like this specific flavour of dulled acceptance he has with his own shortcomings that i don't see talked about often. it's not like he doesn't care, he just goes with whatever happens to him like his opinion doesn't really matter and no one listens anyway so what's the point in trying to fight it. he's like the quiet middle child who doesn't 'cause trouble' so he gets overlooked as a result even if he's technically doing everything right lol
