1. iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii got mine rather late actually considering i knew i wanted one wayyy before i turned 18 lmao. iii think i got it when i was 20!!!

the pain was nothingggg lmaoo the tat in on the back of my arm, like above the elbow (?) so there's just soft skin there yk? i almost fell asleep lmao. on a scale of 1 to 10 i would say a 4???? it genuinely didn't feel like anything BUT I AM ALSO. GOOD WITH PAIN. LIKE OVERALL. SO JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND OKAY.

just to add on the pain tolerance thing, or just to prove that i'm good with it i guess lmao the ones i have on my stomach/ribs literally just felt GOOD. like i remember wincing exactly once bc he went over my hipbone but that was it. even one of the other tattoo artists at the studio said "good luck" before leaving ahgshgasghah but they really just feel good. like i genuinely got horny from those:33

2. i didn't think it was gonna hurt the most honestly but it's the one i have on my inner forearm, just below the elbow. so while that's just soft skin too, it's waaayyy more sensitive. there is a chance that it was a bit bc of the tattoo artist too - she was a bit of a beginner. i would give that like a 6 out of 10, maybe even a 7? it wasn't that bad the whole time though, the seven was just when she was doing the inner part of the arm, the most sensitive place. but hehehe i survived!!!

(she also accidentally pricked me with the needle lmao so i have the teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeniest tiniest dot on my hand now:333 but it's so small that i have to really look for it ahshgahgsagh aand i wasn't mad too i thought it was really funny ehehehehe)

ohhhhhhh this is. interesting. I dont think he does necessarily? notice anything, I mean. in the sense that yeah he doesn’t consider HIMSELF a whole person but he Does consider himself above others. Predator and prey. I think his sort of base analysis of a stranger is “would they be good to kill” and from there he just stops storing information

I imagine he has quite a few little ones. Just from the nature of murdering people in cars, like there’s a wholeeeeeee lot that can go sideways there, but he’s so.. mm, skilled at what he does that there’s not much risk of him getting anything large/obvious. May have some bigger scars on his arms/legs/torso which can be easily hidden, tho. I imagine he has a lot of scars on his knuckles tho :3 (kisses them. mwah)

a wedding ring, to appear trustworthy. doesn’t wear anything else

definitely not frivolous and I think he does spend decent stretches of time laying low, working odd jobs and saving up enough that he CAN fuck off for a while and go on a murder spree across the highways. he’s skilled enough that he’s obviously done that before (I.E. the spree we see in the film) and doesn’t have any concerns about moving between kills, so he must have money for motel rooms/paying for rides if necessary/buying food/etc. + naturally if this was ALL he did with his life he would’ve been caught wayyyyyyyy fucking sooner.

practicality but I also think generally he just doesn’t. care? a luxury hotel and a shitty rundown motel are the same to him: a roof over his head and bed to sleep in.

with Kenneth, I think at first he sort of treats Ken like an amusing pet lmao. it’s definitely not love. after Ken hauls his ass off the side of the road post-shotgun beating? it gets.. closer to love. maybe John wouldn’t define it that way, but he also couldn’t live without Ken, sooooooo
