" he asks softly. knows clearly that the test subject isn't doing anything more than protecting himself, but if the being could listen to reason … even he would know that killing his one and only tentative supporter in this facility would be effectively signing his death warrant. turns his gaze down to regard that blue-black swathe of hair & the amber glow of inhuman eyes, mindful of those bared teeth. " what's your name? "

第一次遇見賈伊德時，黎深心中湧起一陣難以言喻的震撼。他從未見過美人魚，而賈伊德的存在完全超出了他的想像。輪廓超凡脫俗，鱗片如精心鍛造的刀刃，整身閃爍著冷冽而刺眼的光芒。那種美麗與危險並存的姿態，讓黎深一時無法移開視線。儘管他一開始並未與賈伊德有過多的互動，但潛意識裡，他的目光總是不由自主地追隨著他的身影。

在實驗室裡，沒有人將賈伊德視為一個真正的「生命」。同事們只把他當作一個實驗對象，一個可以隨意操控的樣本。他們對賈伊德的掙扎視而不見，甚至將他的反抗簡單地歸結為不合作或叛逆。

黎深原本不會自找麻煩，也沒有打算與賈伊德建立任何聯繫。他只是個普通的研究員，職責是完成實驗，記錄數據。然而，賈伊德的存在卻讓他無法完全保持冷漠。每當實驗結束後，黎深會偷偷地為賈伊德處理傷口，為他塗抹藥膏。儘管賈伊德對所有人都充滿了憎恨，甚至幾次用鋒利的爪子將黎深抓傷，但黎深從未責怪過他。他只是默默地承受著，繼續用自己的方式表達著微弱的關懷。

隨著時間的推移，黎深感覺到賈伊德對他的態度似乎有了一些微妙的變化。賈伊德不再每次都對黎深發動攻擊，甚至在某些時刻，他的眼神中會流露出一絲複雜的情緒。黎深不知道那是什麼，但他能感覺到，賈伊德開始對他有了某種程度的信任。

然而，這種信任也讓黎深感到更加矛盾。他知道賈伊德是被囚禁的存在，他的命運掌握在實驗室的手中。黎深不應該對賈伊德產生任何情感，但他卻無法控制自己的心。每一個夜晚，他的夢境都被賈伊德的身影佔據，那些夢境充滿了熾熱的呼吸及觸碰，讓他無法自拔。

黎深感到自卑。他知道自己沒有��格對賈伊德抱有任何期待。賈伊德是這座設施的囚犯，他的存在本身就是一個悲劇。黎深應該做的，是幫助賈伊德逃離這個噩夢，而不是讓自己陷入情感的漩渦。然而，每當他看到賈伊德那挑釁的眼神，感受到賈伊德有意無意的挑逗，他的理智就會一點點崩塌。

「你……到底是什麼意思？」黎深低聲呢喃，身軀貼近魚缸的玻璃，手指輕輕摸著賈伊德微濕的臉上。「你這樣勾引我，我控制不住自己怎麼辦？你真的要跟我玩這個？」

我能有什麼目的？賈伊德滿臉寫著好奇與意外，他（魚）人已在你們這群人的手上，遠離深海處，那個無數的人類因潛水尋寶最後被淹死黑暗的深淵畢竟是他成長的地方，如今已落到白衣白袍生物學家的實驗室裡任人切割。

賈伊德自己也乾了不少好事，在黎深被派入異樣生物研究所前，也刺殺了不少生物學家；他要人類知道抓捕人魚是必有付出，而且價錢也不便宜。起初，他也想把這個時常愁眉苦臉的醫生給宰了，但是黎深並未像他的同事這樣的時時刻刻拿手術刀，針或者其它的武器击伤他，賈伊德就地確定讓他活多幾個天。

幾個天慢慢地變了幾個星期，然後又變成了幾個月。

黎深變成賈伊德人生中第一個相處甚久的人類。

黎深的人話不多，就像他小時候在家鄉時藏著珊瑚之間望著潮流無聲的流動，只在意眼前下最重要的工作和去向。他如實驗室外面的風景，紛紛從天上飄下的雪花，四季寒天從不露出太陽的陰天。

偶爾黎深也會賞識與他聊天，雖然賈伊德知道他不是一個擅長講話的人。就好像覺得他對不起他，也知道賈伊德不開心，畢竟已經與他的家鄉相隔了長久，但身為勞務會的會員，他無能為力。

“你是不是心動了？” 一道溫柔但謹慎的聲音在他的耳便問道。

不可能，賈伊德對自己說，我眼前這些都是人類，是敵人，不是朋友。

“你可別忘了人魚公主是怎麼死的，這個故事是每一個人魚都會知道的故事.”

他當讓記得，他的爹娘在他小時都會跟他和雙寶胎的弟弟說這個故事。亞特蘭提斯從前有個人魚公主，因為不小心把自己的心送給一個不值得託付終生的人，最後被逼上絕路，只有兩個選擇：一，就是把自己心愛的人刺殺然後把心割出來吃，二，就是自己跳海自閉，化成海泡，永不超生。

人魚公主因為不忍心殺掉自己心愛的王子，最後選擇了自盡。人魚族從之就有個這個悲傷的故事。

“你也別忘了，每個人魚一輩子只能愛上一個人，就是因為人魚公主知道如果她殺了自己心愛的人，就算能苟活也是需要忍受失去摯愛的痛苦活下下輩子。因為這樣，她才選擇了成全王子和他的愛人。”

賈伊德深入思考，然後還是覺得這個說法有點慌狂。他只不過是要在黎深身上獲取一些東西，然後再爭取自由。如今他的所作所為只是最後目的地的摯石—就如黎深所說：

“你有什麼目的地？”

賈伊德可以說他沒有，但他知道這個黎深不是一個傻子（畢竟傻子根本不會在這樣的高端隱藏秘密的研究設施出現）。

可能黎深是個孤獨的人。孤獨的人也可能會孤單。

這就是他們兩人的巨大共同點：他們兩個都是在殘忍和寒冷的深淵裏長大。

人類是有弱點的，哪怕像人魚的弱點就是怕愛上不該愛的人，無法自拔。

“我想要回自由，” 賈伊德冷愣地就説，“但是我知道你權限無能高至能說放人就放，那麼我想要另一樣東西，我想要你。”

karaoke night

hq captain squad roommate/same college au part...whatever this is. check out the other posts here.

i imagine that these 8 take karaoke very seriously. it’s their weekly boys night where they head out to the karaoke bar, rent a private room, drink, sing and dance until they forget about all the stress from that week (whether it be assignments, volleyball practices, daishou’s latest girl drama, or oikawa’s youtube stress)

moniwa: surprise power vocal, i feel like moniwa is hiding some serious pipes behind his shy demeanor. he’d so be the one that hits all the high notes and ad libs towards the end of songs. however, even though he can hit the notes, the machine always gives him mid or failing scores. 

bokuto: the energetic yet tone deaf owl. i imagine that bokuto gets so excited during songs that he can’t really hear how bad he actually sounds. he might not be able to technically hit the notes, but he’ll damn sure try, no matter how hoarse he might be the next morning. he’s also the type to do air instruments, especially epic air guitar solos. 

kuroo: we all know how kuroo sings (thanks to karamatsu), so he manages pretty mid-to-high scores. he’s also a huge secret pop fan and knows all the dance moves and is not afraid to correct you if you’re doing one of his favorite songs wrong. he tries not to get too into karaoke, but with the mix of drinks, sawamura’s hype skills and bo’s infectious energy, he’ll be bouncing around the room in no time. 

oikawa: king of kpop groups (boy, girl, co-ed, he doesn’t discriminate). he has a decent voice and knows the lyrics without having to read the screen much. knows all the dances, the facial expressions, how inflict the proper style. he’s in it to win it too. always tries to get the highest scores, and is very upset when he scores lower than a 70. once tried to fight the machine because he was so drunk he scored a 69, and okudake had to step in and put him in time out. 

okudake: likes dad music. i’m talking the old classics that people don’t even know were classics because who the hell listens to this anyway? also, a huge fan of korean trot music. however, his favorite (he literally performs this every week but no one stops him because they love it too) is actually look at me gwisun (jp ver) by d-lite (daesung from big bang)

daichi sawamura: the surprise life of the party once he has a few drinks in him. totally lets loose during karaoke. and because he’s such good friends with everyone, he knows all different genres (everyone is quick to duet with him too). great voice, great stage presence. since his roommate is oikawa, he’s almost always roped into singing with him. he’s also the hype guy, who runs around the room, forcing the microphone in other’s faces so they can sing along too. 

ushijima: loves ballads. he only sings songs that have deep meanings, and always scores really high on them (thanks to moniwa hitting some of those belting notes for him). his voice is very calming, and his turn usually falls when bokurodai got a little too hype and need to recuperate for a minute or two. 

daishou: huge, and i mean huge fan of kyary pamyu pamyu, perfume and silent siren. knows all the songs, all the dances, owns a lot of merchandise that he wears/brings especially for the occasion of karaoke night. you cannot out-sing him for one of these songs, and somehow he earns 100s every time (oikawa is convinced he’s cheating, moniwa is a bit salty but doesn’t let it show, kuroo only enjoys the music videos that play on the screen with the lyrics otherwise he completely tunes out daishou’s voice, bo & dai dance along with daishou, ushijima enjoys the performances whole heartedly).
