Uhh I guess refreshers on the bully trio. (Victor, Chazz, Dandy (2.0)). In future AU since they all go to highschool too but they just hang out to specifically spite tj and johnson for dumb reasons. Also, yes, implied one-sided TJ/Victor. It's like gay(er) tobecky but like more unrequited somehow.

Victoria Best is a tragic character.

From the first episode with her, you can see that Victoria has a bad upbringing with her terrible parents.

They motivate her to do evil, and it's implied that they could control her as well. As soon as she fails a competition, she feels pressured to keep her "eyes on the prize".

Unlike Claire who actually loves Tobey despite not understanding him completely-

-those two do not love Victoria and Victor and puts an unnecessarily amount of pressure on both of them, building resentment and sibling rivalry that is unhealthy and quite frankly even more tragic because they both feel like they have to live up to higher than life expectations and likely receive worse punishments as a result of it, added onto the neglect. It's possible that it'll get worse as they get older.

You can hardly even see any form of familial love outside of when Victoria actually accomplishes something. Notice how Claire was happy that Tobey was back in the earlier photo. That's a sign that she does love him dearly and don't care about him being successful or unsuccessful. As long as he tries his best. Victoria and her parents have no bond whatsoever, outside of her meeting their sick expectations.

She's a paradox of Becky in a way. Same for Victor and TJ. Whereas Tim Botsford and Sally Botsford make numerous mistakes and treat Becky wrongly in the series multiple times, I have no doubt in my mind that they do love both of her children deeply and want the best for both of them.

I don't like the idea of Victoria being depicted as heartless and evil. She's just as redeemable as Tobey if not even more so because she has more of a moral compass and never went as far as he did. She's behind Two Brains in terms of tragic. Yes, I can acknowledge Tobey has tragic elements with the lack of fatherhood but at least he has one parent who cares about him.

Victoria has none of that.

And even when faced with the choice to do something evil and immoral by Two Brains, she couldn't do it.

Victoria's not a bad person. Victor isn't either. I think both is confused, conflicted, and wanted validation from the wrong places. Hopefully, both eventually broke free from their parents' control and do bigger and better as they got older.

Danny knew that this job was too good to be either true or not illegal.

But fucking hell does it pay well.

So he was only a little ashamed with himself as he stands between Batman and one Mr. Freeze.

He knew why he was hired, the look Victor gave him when they did the first interview was enough for Danny to know that the mad scientist knew a little too much about his powers.

He had wanted to just say fuck it and dip, but then Victor told Danny about Nora...and we'll if that didn't get him on the man's side then the fat wad of cash was the real closer.

(He was a poor law school student with more debt than even Sam's credit card was allowed to clear, how can he say no to 1k an hour?)

One thing lead to another, and it seemed that Danny was a willing accomplice to Freezes plan

Which might now include tearing a hole in dimensions to get to the Far Frozen because a certain yeti doctor knows a fuck ton about the disease that Nora is suffering from.

Now if only Batman would stay down long enough for Danny to explain all of this...

Victor/TJ > TJ/Johnson

Hjjhkffgj But I kinda get the appeal. Victor is probably the second most unexplored one off character, even though we've known of his existence since Victoria's debute. ig ppl aren't that really interested in him or even forget he exists (which fair, I think it's good we are limited to one villian white blonde boy to hyperfixate on). And what we know is that he has a terrible inferior complex against Victoria, and probably like her he's also emotionally abused too. Though we know with his bent up frustration that he takes his jealousy and anger to a more villainous degree than Victoria sometimes. Plus there's the fact he was literally created (design and narrative wise) to be a bizzaro TJ like the other members of the family are to the Botsfords. He is the foil to TJ's entire dynamic with Becky (where TJ of course feels inferior to Becky in a lot of ways [cough, Homerun king ep] and he wants to take her down a peg, but he won't try to use or put ppl in danger for it). So I can see where the idea to put them together comes from, afterall the entire episode where we formally meet Victor has TJ gush over him in the beginning, and we know that whenever TJ fawns over a boy it doesn't go well lol. They have a *friends to enemies to lovers energy*, very Tobecky and Bectoria coded (if Victor was like secretly in love with TJ but conveyed it poorly). But I think I like their dynamic as one-sided rivals better, the idea of Victor hating but secretly liking TJ is really funny, and TJ just does not care for Victor, he's got homework to do, leave him alone.

So even though I can see it.... TJOHNSON still sweeps I'm sorry. LOOK, besides them being adorable, they have amazing potential that I only think about. Yeah sure it's not the popular idea of enemies to lovers (I mean it can be, I got some ideas).... but the slow burn friends to lovers and storytelling of denial with longing is strong in them, and I live for that sooo--
