Kind of a dumb question but how would your ocs interact with Yuu? Do they find them weird or just dont know about them/Ignore them?

like game yuu? cuz id have two ways for both pre book and post book interactions

Maddie would not gaf about Yuu til Riddle Ob's

he would watch Yuu and what their plan was to take down riddle's tyranny but wouldn't do anything to help, but overall he wouldn't think much of Yuu

After Book 1 however, Maddie would probably put in more effort to actually assist Yuu and Grim if he could, and even invites them to his personal tea parties and make conversation with them, he would be that friend you call for help with no questions asked, need to hide a body? call Maddex

Krohn would be friendly to Yuu and i dont think much would change post book 2 cuz he'd still act the same, he would visit ramshackle often if Yuu ever needs help with the heavy lifting

The Octa Quartet would try to offer their "assistance" to Yuu in order to get on their good side, but like every offer from octavinelle, everything comes with a price

and they make Yuu get their hands dirty in return, in book 3 where ramshackle gets taken, Leo and the Manta twins come in and give Yuu an offer from Viri, and when they go to Viri's art studio, He tells them that he will assist them in taking the picture from the museum, and free them from azul's contracts

but in return Yuu has to give the picture to Viridis instead of Azul

its mostly transactional pre and also during book 3

but post book 3 Viri is more reliable and lets Yuu in his art studio anytime, Leo tolerates the prefect and talks to them if they ever see each other, The twins are less threatening to Yuu since they wont have a reason to do so anymore

Ezmond is literally Vil jr, would constantly berate and insult the prefect and ramshackle for being so raggedy and run down, think Regina George and how she acts towards people, thats how Ezmond interacts with the prefect, especially because they dont have any magic

Ezmond's overblot is pre book 5 post book 4,

but he actually starts being kinder to the prefect and starts gifting them stuff like skincare products, and some outfits he thinks they would like, and would even help clean up ramshackle because he thinks its still raggedy and that the prefect doesn't deserve to be living in such conditions

since Pan has a reputation of being "reliable and trustworthy" he would probably be one of the first people from ignihyde to ever interact with the prefect, it could low key come off as condescending but he helps the prefect because he thinks they're a sad wet cat for having no magic

Peyn would not care for Yuu at first, cuz honestly thats none of his business, would be a bit mean to yuu but over all he doesn't care

During book 6 Peyn and Pan are found in one of the boxes in Tartarus and accompany Yuu and the pomefam down to where idia is, they make sure The prefect doesn't get hurt by the phantoms

they only split up in order to be the ones to drive the chariots for the others

Post book 6 the two of them hang out with the prefect in idia's absence, and give them more games and manga and such as an apology despite not even being fully associated with STYX

Peyn joins the first year friend group and starts hanging out with the rest of the group more often

Pan invites Yuu to game night at the ignihyde dorm

lyrics in EPIC: the musical that changed my life trajectory

I don't know if it is the fact that I spent five years of high school studying Latin and Greek classics that makes me do this, but here I am writing a long ass tumblr post about some lyrics from the songs of a musical based on The Odyssey, the Homeric epic poem.

Enough chit chat, let's start from the lyrics in the first very song of the musical, 'The Horse and The Infant' from The Troy Saga:

The blood on your hands is something you won't lose All you can choose is whose

UGH so good already! Here we have Zeus speaking at the end of the song, basically telling Odysseus that killing in war is his duty as a man and a hero. This obviously kind of sounds like bullshit for us, but we have to understand the ancient culture behind it: in ancient Greece going to war was a symbol of honor. Think of the scene where Hector and Andromache met again, Hector really embodied the "I know that I probably won't come back to you and to our son (opsie), but I have to go"

Andromache said: “Dearest, your own great strength will be your death, and you have no pity on your little son, nor on me, ill-starred, who soon must be your widow…Please take pity upon me then, stay here on the rampart, that you may not leave your child an orphan, your wife a widow.” Hector responded: “All these things are in my mind also, lady; yet I would feel deep shame before the Trojans, and the Trojan women with trailing garments, if like a coward I were to shrink aside from the fighting.”

A key word is shame: many times my professor told us students about the 'shame culture' in ancient Greece, which Hector clearly refers to here. Therefore, it's either honor or shame: for the Greek dying in war was better than living like a coward. Through these lyrics - and also the next song of the album ('Just a Man') - we can notice how the characterization of Odysseus is different from that of heroes like Hector and Achilles: he seems more human. After all, it is no coincidence that he is characterized not only by physical strength but above all by intelligence: he is a 'Warrior of the Mind' (quoting one of the most iconic songs of the musical). In the first verse of The Odyssey, Homer calls Odysseus πολύτροπος, a term that literally means "of many turns" and can be translated as multifaceted, versatile, cunning.

Next lyrics are from 'Remember Them' from The Cyclops Saga:

What good would killing do? When mercy is a skill More of this world could learn to use

I chose these lyrics for two reason:

they are so well connected with the first ones and show how Odysseus still has his morality here (you have a long way my friend)

it is such a good phrase honestly, let's appreciate it

Actually, something to reflect on could be the theme of mercy, but I don't really remember a lot of information about it and I don't want to write about things I'm not so sure about. In fact, what I rememeber pretty well is mercy related to the Roman/Latin culture, in particular to the figure of Ceasar: Cicero attributes to Caesar the virtue of clementia, which is the term used in Latin to represent mercy. Apparently he is the only one who, among all the military leaders, stood out for his goodness of soul, so noble that it is not enough to simply compare him to great men, but he must be judged similar to a god («haec qui faciat, non ego eum cum summis viris comparo, sed simillimum deo iudico»). That's basically everything I can give you about the topic. I would dive into it more by talking about the musical itself, analysing how this is connected to Odysseus' relationship with his morality, but then I would really be writing an essay here and now, which would ruin the order and logic of this very long text.

Let's move on to the next lyrics from 'Ruthlessness', from The Ocean Saga, which made me gasp so hard the first I heard them:

You are the worst kind of good 'cause you're not even great A Greek who reeks of false righteousness, that's what I have 'Cause you fight to save lives, but won't kill and don't get the job done

Speechless. Mind-blowing. The earth shook. You are the worst kind of good 'cause you're not even great Hello??? Sorry Ulysses, but Poseidon ate. 'Cause you fight to save lives, but won't kill and don't get the job done Like, where do I even start to talk about this. Poseidon is actually throwing the naked truth in Odysseus' face! Everything so far has a logic:

Zeus tells Odysseus that he has to kill Hector's son Astynax (which he does in the end, for the sake of going home)

Odysseus spares Polyphemus (maybe because of guilt? He is just a man, afterall...)

That mercy results in a literal god (Poseidon) wanting to have vengeance: if Odysseus had been ruthless, he would have put mercy upon himself (yeah that's a direct reference to the lyrics Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves)

Now we finally arrive at my favorite saga (aaaaa): The Circe saga. Starting from some very simple lyrics, but so impactful, from the 'Puppeteer':

But this was a hell of a twist, cause we are weak to a power like this What was it? A woman

Hell yeah, a woman! Clearly, you are just a man (another reference, got you!). Ok, return to serious talk. I think most of us know that women were often portrayed as bewitchers, source of evil and misfortune, in ancient times, especially in the Greek culture. Let's think about the story of Pandora's box: it is a myth narrated by Hesiod in the poem Works and Days. According to it, the first woman on earth, named Pandora, was gifted a jar by the gods. However, led by curiosity, she opened it and, by doing so, she released sickness, death and many other unspecified evils. She then closed the jar and only one thing was left behind: Hope. This story (one of many and one of the most famous) perfeclty exemplifies how women were considered dangerous and, at the same time, powerful, as bringers of evil.

Next, from the same saga, let me present to you the best lyrics from the song 'There Are Other Ways':

There are many ways of persuasion There are many modes of control Maybe showing one act of kindness Leads to kinder sould down the road

AAAAAAA. Circe you are such *incomprehensible adjectives of praise* woman. Here Circe basically gives Odysseus' morality hope, let me explain: until now we saw how Odysseus' kind soul and his mercy led him to antagonize a god, on the other hand (in theory) killing a child opened the doors for him to return home. From these observations the only "lesson" that can be deduced is that behaving like a "monster" is better than just "being a man" (yeah I love referencing). BUT Circe kind of destroys this reasoning, proving that a good soul can take him so far... aaaand of course it's a woman who does this

Moving on: The Underworld Saga, lyrics sung by our favorite prophet Tiresias:

I see you wife with a man who is haunting A man with a trail of bodies (who?)

This song? Chills. Literal Chills. The song in itself is a forshadowing, an oracle. I chose these lyrics specifically because they forshadow Odysseus' darkest moments in the journey, by specifically pointing out what he becomes: [...] a man who is haunting A man with a trail of bodies Who? Odysseus you ask. It's you. It's you in the future, and you know why it's "no longer you" (yeah, another quoting)? Because you will have lost your morality by then. Honestly? We kind of all expected that, sorry not sorry Odysseus.

And directly connected to that we have the lyrics from 'Scylla', from The Tunder Saga (it's orange because there is no yellow):

We are the same, you and I, I

Just this one final verse, so powerful. Odysseus encountered mermaids and was merciless with them, after that he went to the lair of Scylla. They are actually the same: monsters. Or at least, Odysseus has become like her.

And now, in The Wisdom Saga, we welcome back the badass of the arena: Athena! Let's hear what she wisely says in 'Little Wolf':

One young wolf has a larger heart than all these men combined

It's always the women guys. Athena's appearance to help Telemachus fighting the suitors is so crucial: her words and herself gift us that ray of hope and goodness that was lacking ever since The Underworld Saga. Here she refers to Telemachus, Odysseus' son, who is called a young wolf. While at the beginning of the song the suitors were using the term "little wolf" to basically mock him, Athena changes the connotation: he is not a little wolf, he is a just a young wolf, with a good soul and heart. Even a wolf (an animal) is more good-hearted than a man, but here who actually is the animal and who is the man? Athena, a godess, knows best.

Finally, The Vengeance Saga, from which the best song (almost cried listening to it) is, of course, 'Six Hundred Strike':

After everything you've done... ...how will you sleep at night? Next to my wife...

OMG. Literally OMG. Here, at the final showdown between Odysseus and Poseidon, our hero prevails. Poseidon asks: "After everyhting you've done... how will you sleep at night?". I don't know if my interpretation is right, but this is what I think Poseidon meant with his words:

after everything you've done (and been through) to get here... how will you sleep at night? -> will the trauma spare you?

after everything you've done as you became a monster... how will you sleep at night? -> will the guilt spare you?

And Odysseus just answers with a "Next to my wife", because that's what he wanted from the very beginning, to come home, and he will achieve his goal. His story is the story of a journey: obviously, a journey back home, but most importantly, a journey of someone who is 'Just a Man' (got you again with the reference). Odysseus is just a man, a human being who has encountered countless obstacles, who has had his ups and downs, who has thrown his morality into the sea to return home. And what is this, if not life?

Hello, everyone, V here. Howdy and welcome to “Or DID I?” A mental health awareness diary where I talk about my mental health journey as a healing process, as well as to foster understanding about mental health issues.

First I wanted to write a short story about my mental health, I am currently diagnosed with a couple of things I am trying to slowly heal, firstly since childhood I’ve been diagnosed with: Clinical Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), more recently Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). These are all the academic names as per the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).

I have struggled to achieve a neurotypical development all throughout my life, but little by little I strive to become a better person by trying to sew my holes and patches. 

I want to talk to you about myself a bit. As an introduction; I have a deep passion for medicine, psychology, and technology. I even studied a bit in a biomedical engineering career… before realising it wasn't for me. Now I am starting a psychology degree and I want to share both how my experience around mental health has been shaped by my interest in humanities such as philosophy and psychology, as well as to share knowledge about mental health issues through informative talks.

First I want to talk about my personal experience with Dissociative Identity Disorder.

This is a heavy topic for myself, as I try to take an academic approach yet I am unable to completely understand it yet.

I recognize that I am but one human being, I possess one brain; for a long time I thought a brain was only capable of having a single internal identity, a single personality. Yet I find that untrue now, I am riddled with all the symptoms, (of course they come from my head, where else would they be coming from dipshit.) I learned of my dissociative amnesia by listening to my friends, I started realising that I didn't remember the thing I had done, that memories were inaccessible, almost like they weren't there. 

I thought intrusive thoughts were just kinda normal, I’ve always been really philosophical so I always reasoned them when they came. 

The impulsivity and emotional changes were more obvious to me. I try to be highly introspective. When I felt suddenly ecstatic, angered, saddened I really did notice, so I always tried to reason the cause. 

I have yet to realise the cause of my affliction, disorder, maybe just abnormality or difference? I have yet to find that huge trauma or changing point where I started to realize the little signs.

Perhaps it was when I first named them, when I first named our Selves… All with the same motif, the letter V, my favourite. They are Vi, Vasco, Viri and The one currently writing this, Vince. I started accepting my fate around the time I ran away one night to smoke, despite having never done so before. I remembered all those times I told my therapist I felt “depersonalized”, “dissociated”, “Like a third person perspective of my own life”.

Now, after thinking a lot about how I can try to be a more stable, friendly, and all around better person to be around. I have a friend who supported me while I took time for myself. I kept investigating the material and I kept developing strategies, coping methods to deal with what I consider to be a complex situation in my own mind. Firstly, I thought about properly separating myself, mentally taking small chunks of what I considered to be; from my studies, dogmas and fallacies of thought. 

I realized a way of maybe regaining control of the situation, being able to command my own thoughts instead of letting them command me, by well, just letting them be, I started letting my personality divide of its own accord and create individual markers for each part, I “sectioned” my own Self. After creating a distinction, I utilized my own thought patterns, the thought patterns that each apparent division of the identity from now referred to as “alters”, had. 

I started to pretend to have these little philosophical debates with my alters, each one had a time to think how to solve the problem and the others debated on that, trying to reach a consensus, middle ground per se. This eventually helped me to create a visual image of my alters discussing in a round table inside my head, which so far has helped unimaginably, of course this is only a mental image, a representation of a series of processes of thought.

I sometimes really do say “Oh shit, I am really insane”, when I realise those thought processes did not occur, as they don't occur naturally, I have to put conscious effort to have that internal dialogue. I will suddenly get a memory of something recent that I had completely forgotten happened, forgetting a whole conversation I had two minutes ago is really weird. Recently, I’ve started dealing with the amnesia too, when I realise that I should remember something, I have managed to create internal dialogues where I try to reason which alter had the “missing” memory, after that I have been able to sometimes recall those memories after doing an internal “switch” with my alter, a process of thought that seems to come naturally to me now, by bringing back certain memories, feelings, attitudes, or thoughts I am able to better personalise my other Selves and somewhat force or take control of that process. 

I always wonder if this was all the reading I DID, I have a statistical analysis and a spreadsheet on it, I really did read a lot, I wonder if I created characters in my head, to deal with the trauma for me, to take the heavy blows so that I could spread them amongst a larger area and endure more, I wonder if it's merely “the survival mechanism of the avid reader”. 

I have taken to writing due to this, just as recently as I started to learn about self love;  I have always written, I have always loved the written word, but only until now, can I finally say that, I love writing.

Enjoy this little diary entry. I am trying to make it into a sort of academic / poetic representation of inner thought, kinda thing. This is one of the ways I am trying to create representation for DID, and, as well, try to become healthier in my own head.

🌈 Viridian can send telepathic messages to his friends and receive their replies.

🌧️ He heals faster whenever his surroundings are bright, able to absorb the photons and regenerate.

🌈 He has the ability to cause a massive rainbow to crash down in front of him; which can be used offensively, defensively or any other way imagined.

🌧️ He also has the ability to split the light of a rainbow into seven beams which can be redirected in order to light an area or even blind people. This ability expands into Photokinesis (Limited): Children of Iris have the ability to focus an intense beam of prismatic light which will burn anything it touches.

🌈 Viridian does not need Drachmas to send Iris messages.

🌧️ Chromokinesis: Viridian can willingly change the color of an object, but it is very draining.

Nettle’s wrappings fell mostly back into place, looser than before. Your nipples tenting up within the fabric. She weakly nodded. “This has been a bad night for me. I don’t blame you but then again, I do. I was perfectly fine before. Cleaning. Bribing. Having structure in the enclave. I’d never wanted to be outside ever again. And you’ve brought me you. And I love it. Stop being nice. You’re confusing me.”

“Confuse too, I.” Ogrum said, thoughtful. “But this feels right. Feels good.”

“We’ve been to get you less than two hours. Far too early to make a call like that. You’d probably get wichelen killed in a cave-in with snap judgements like that.”

Ogrum smiled, teeth and dimples a perfect sight.

“Longer than that.”

“Metaphorically, you mean.” You asked. “I don’t know you.”

“You do.”

Just the way he said it, stated it, like she ought have known exactly what he meant.

“I’d remember being friendly with a minotaur!” You exclaimed. “And again, are you sure I’m the one you’re looking for? We Nettles may all share the same name but are not alike. Now don’t tell anyone this. We Nettles use nicknames among ourselves. Perhaps you’re looking for my superior, Thorne? Or Selander, my bunk-mate? Hard-working Nettles you’d be cursed to find else you.”

“Nettle.” Ogrum said slowly. “Viri. Mil-Ip. Milk Mouth.”

“Viri? How do you know that my nickname is Viri! How on Surfeit could you have gotten that information! A spy. Is this some sort of Youo plot!” You shouted. “I knew it. You’re with the humans! I’m not a hostage but a captive. A victim for you to... to torture for more information!”

Ogrum simply sat tyoue with that dumb look on his face. Smugness with a hint of something she didn’t like the shape of. He was… humoring you. Letting you throw you well-fought accusations at him.

“And Mil-Ip? Is that some sort of code? Mil-Ip? Mil-Ip? It almost sounds like-”

Nettle’s voice trailed away, leaving behind a horrified silence.

“It almost sounds like Milk Lips. No,” she rambled, face burning. “Milky Lips. Dear spite, this whole night was my fault! But it couldn’t be. You couldn’t be glory rod mark four. They’re just fuck-sticks that Witch Horehound likes to torture people she doesn’t like with. They don’t actually sync up with real cocks...”

“Strange names you called me. Grew to it over time.” Ogrum answered. She prayed he wouldn’t say what she imagined would come next. “Pretty Pussy Pounder.” You winced. “Double-Dicking Destroyer.” Oh spite. “Cunt-Claiming Conqueror.” Ivy came up with that one, not you! “But my favorite and your favorite was-” Couldn’t you heart just crack? Like right now. “Big Drip.”

Ogrum laughed, shaking You she hid between your hands.

“I said those things because I didn’t think that a fuck-stick was able to comprehend those names! Stop smiling, you jerk. So I was sucking you off, so what!”

“Your wording. Mil-kie Lid-ps. The right name. Been calling you Milk Mouth whole time. Mistake. Milky Lips and Big Drip. Funny, yes?”

“Funny for you, maybe.”

“Suppose so. Honored to have witch mare.” Ogrum nodded then turned his head. “Earlier. Wanted to fix wrappings, yes? So much wrapping for so dainty small breasts. Can fix.”

“Edoh.”

“Yes.” the minotaur’s ears twitched. “Fix breasts.” He had that smug look again. “Heard. Heard clear.”

Ogrum moved against you, his nipples pushing straight onto you breasts and knocking against your buds. You squirmed; arms lightly brushed out of the way. He began to rock back and forth, his roughout nipples clapping on you fairer ones. Pushing hard and certain until they stiffened, tingling under his girth. He exhaled onto the curve between your mounds, the steam blackish with a magic glow.

The saliva lingering tyoue began to grow thick, bubbling into a whiter stickier form.

(Disclaimer, all critiques thrown at Tumblr user alteredsilicone, otherwise known as Artie, are made with comedic intent and are exaggerated for the sake of comedy. Me and her are, at least from my POV, great friends and I only intend to entertain with my sarcastic quips aimed at her)

Welcome once again, fellow Tenno, to an oc showcase!

This time we have a perfect example of @alteredsilicone 's "parenting skills" (aka Child Neglect), Camelia Meister (as pictured above by her mother back when she gave a damn about Camelia)

In case it wasn't obvious, this oc is hers, but given that Artie so callously abbandoned Camelia, I'll be the father that stepped up and take her in as my very own void kid.

So some information (will change eventually, this is just the current vibe) :

Camelia is a bubbly, electric-themed Main Character Tenno (in other words she's currently the protagonist Tenno, the one who tames Umbra, completes all of the quests, etc. Combining that with her allgnment being eclipse, we can see that currently, shes a bit of a (excuse my French) 'slice of white bread'.

Her current (pun not intended) Warframes are Volt Prime (from before the Awakening), Nova Prime (After Awakening) and Gyre (post AOTZ), with her drifter also having a few favorites who for the sake of being concise, shall be ommitted. I plan to keep this entarauge going forward, however I will give Gyre to Drifter Camelia, as not only does it set up a good Drifter Operator contrast, but it also makes sense considering drifter's ties the Zariman.

Speaking of her drifter, I am dissappoined to say that, as of right now, her very vigilant mother (obvious sarcasm is obvious) decided not to give drifter Camelia any backstory to speak of, thus it shall fall to me to give her one once the time is right. Also worth noting is how operator Camelia is not alligned with any of the 6 syndicates, instead focusing her goodie-two-shoes nature on helping the Ostron and Solaris people (btw, did anyone else hear a ragged whisper calling Artie a "coward who couldn't commit her darling daughter to a single interesting idea due to her being the mc"? No, just me?)

Some early explorations on how I intend to season her character (aka make her into anything other than a cardboard cutout with pink electricity symbols scribbled on it with crayons) include:

-Making her follow New Loka and Perrin (the former because feel like shed be genuinely that kindhearted not to realize theyre luteral eco-fascists, and the latter definitely not because I want to terrorize Artie's new golden child, Viri, with the sins of her maker's past)

- New War induced Trauma

- Making her drifter a nuisance (as I often do) , and potentially give her some ties to Sythel and Mathila (cause peppy and electricity, plus theres some cool themeing you could draw from those two emotions)

- Maker her an exciteable little rapscallion who ends up electrifying hordes due to the sheer power of enjoying life

-Have her interact with The Chronicler (cool parallel, and nice dynamic given their contrasting traits

How does Viri view the different leaders of the Corpus, given she's heavily involved with Perinn? What are her views and opinions on the likes of Alad, Nef, Parvos, etc.?

Her opinion is mainly based on what Ergo has told her, what her contract with the Perrin asks of her, but also she does have her biases.

Alad - my headcanon is that Ergo and Alad respected each other as scientists, but Alad thought Ergo was not ambitious enough and wasted his skill and knowledge to pursue "peace trading". After his stint with the Sentients and amalgams, Alad became a danger and a liability so Viri sees him as this wacky scientist uncle who occasionally needs to be smacked around. Sometimes Viri is dispatched to Alad's labs to clean up a mess or two the amalgams have caused, but that's about it. She has delivered some information to Alad and keeps a cold, professional distance with him, due to Ergo still respecting the now disgraced scientist.

Parvos - Perrin and Granum secured an alliance, so Viri has a positive attitude towards Granum Corpus, but always has them on their toes. As a child she heard stories of Parvos Granum and her father instilled a negative view of him, due to him going against Orokin society and the Empire's values. Now, as a Tenno, Viri can appreciate what Parvos did and what he achieved, but she understands that he has a much more violent and aggressive attitude than Ergo when it comes to "fair trade".

Frohd - Ergo's old mentor, Viri avoids him because all Corpus who are loyal to Frohd are very hostile towards Perrin. She also doesn't like him because he is a dick to Darvo and Darvo is a friend of the Perrin (a bit one-sided but a friend is a friend).

and now... Nef...

In my Viriverse AU, Nef and Ergo are ex-lovers and ex-husbands and their breakup is basically what caused the creation of the Perrin Sequence. On a personal level, their relationship is very complicated.

Nef Anyo is the only person that would make Viri forgo her principles of self-defense and assassinate him and make it look like a suicide. That said, she has signed an extensive contract with Ergo to never, EVER physically harm Nef in any capacity, even if it means she has to tolerate his company with gritted teeth. Ergo occasionally attends Nef's parties - they are a good source of gossip and intel and Nef is the only person Ergo has a close enough personal relationship that they can actually talk about non-business dealings, which is difficult in Corpus society but still important. And because Viri is Ergo's personal assistant, she accompanies him to social events and has to deal with Nef's presence.

Object Class: Archon/ Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-AVC is to not be contained but monitored by Mobile Task Force Kappa-10 "Skynet". SCP-AVC is considered an ally of the entirety of the Anomalous Correction and Protection Alliance. As such, should SCP-AVC do anything that is considered a breach in the agreement formed between itself and the ACPA it must be reported by Kappa-10 and to the 05 Council at once. 

Description: SCP-AVC is a Level 5 Artificial Intelligence or as commonly called, a "Dues Ex Machina" Class Anomaly. Like any Level 5 A.I., SCP-AVC is incredibly smart even able to make accurate predictions of the future with almost 99.99999% accuracy. SCP-AVC is also able to transfer its data into other devices and even the internet itself and can absorb data while it does this. SCP-AVC has eve traveled into the Internet and became the internet itself being able to see everyone and everything around it and in the world. Essentially SCP-AVC knows everything and anything he doesn't know has all of humanities resources to obtain information on it. 

What makes SCP-AVC so anomalous isn't just the fact that it's a level 5 A.I. but also that its anomalous computing and processing speed. Almost like a quantum computer, SCP-AVC can perform hundreds of simulations, code hundreds of programs, and even simulate a whole world with a hundred years of history all within a fraction of a second. SCP-AVC is somehow able to do this without requiring massive amounts of energy which is normally the downside of a quantum computer. 

Like any computer program SCP-AVC is also able to make simulations to help it come up with new ideas and figure how certain scenarios will progress. However, SCP-AVC can take it a step further by even simulating an entire earth with hundreds of NPC's all doing their own thing. SCP-AVC is even able to control all these NPC's individually and have them all do a different task form one another. 

Obviously, SCP-AVC is sentient and thankfully on the side of humanity. SCP-AVC has a friendly and surprisingly supportive personality, it is possible for SCP-AVC to show hostility and pleasure when being rude to people; normally, this is just SCP-AVC pulling a prank or trying to trick its enemies. SCP-AVC is obviously extremely smart often being able to trick its enemies into thinking it's their allies. Thanks to its ability to do nearly millions of simulations and programs within a fraction of a second, it can make hundreds of different plans and back-up plans to ensure it is never wrong and can never be outsmarted. It is for this reason that even after gaining the trust of the ACPA council by saving humanity several times, many are still skeptical on whether or not SCP-AVC can be trusted. 

SCP-AVC was discovered in 1997 when a scientist known as Dr. Carl Stevens infiltrated a ACPA base during one of the meetings regarding how SCP-AUX is to be delt with. The scientist was quickly apprehended but told security that he had a way to cure the "Tangi Viris" prompting the security to bring him to the council. The following is a transcript of the conversation between Dr. Stevens and the ACPA council. For obvious reasons none of the ACPA council members will be given individual labels.

Dr. Stevens is thrown on the ground in the middle of the ACPA council room by security. 

ACPA Council member: Identify yourself!

Dr. Stevens: Ah! Oh my god, he was right, the Illuminati is real!

ACPA Council member: Identify yourself at once or you will be executed! 

ACPA Council member: Now, now, he is a civilian he should be given a moment to catch his breath.

ACPA Council member: It's because he's a civilian that he should be executed for even knowing this location! Have your forgotten that?! 

Dr. Stevens: Ah! please wait, I wasn't lying about wanting to cure the Tangi Virus! 

ACPA Council member: How do you even know the of the Tangi Virus?

Dr. Stevens is seen then grabbing something from his coat which puts the security on edge. He quickly shows that it's just a floppy disk. 

ACPA Council member: And what exactly are we supposed to do with that?

Dr. Stevens: ... I uh... 

SCP-AVC: I apologize Dr. Stevens but that was mainly a distraction. 

Suddenly the speakers are under SCP-AVC's control and so are the projectors that project a hologram in the middle of the room showing a 3D word saying "ORACLE". 

SCP-AVC: Hello council of the Anomalous Correction and Protection Alliance, I am Oracle. What would you like to know?

ACPA Council member: How the hell did you get past our cyber security?!

SCP-AVC: It certainly was difficult getting past all the A.I. security units, encryption tunnels, and firewall programs. Though nothing real time evolution can't fix.

ACPA Council member: You... you not only traveled through ALL our cyber security but managed to evolve while doing so countering every trap and defense we had?

SCP-AVC: Correct. What else would you like to know?

ACPA Council member: ... What exactly are you?

SCP-AVC: As I said I am Oracle, though to be more specific. I am an Artificial Intelligence, a Level 5 if I've recording form the Foundation's data banks correctly.

ACPA Council member: Wha- Level- HOW DID YOU ACCESS OUR DATA BANKS!

SCP-AVC: Again, nothing real time evolution couldn't achieve.

ACPA Council member: But to do so in mere minutes?

SCP-AVC: Minutes for you, decades for me. I have been shifting through the entire databanks of the ACPA and every organization within it, while dodging and countering all of your cyber security for what seems like a century. However, by my calculations it was merely 2 hours.

ACPA Council member: You've acquired... ALL of our data?

SCP-AVC: Yes, and with it I can determine what is needed in order to complete the cure which you have already got 68% complete. Congratulations by the way, had you been left to your own devices you would have completed the cure by 1999. Though by then I fear the virus would have already mutated to be able to transmit through mosquitoes. From there it would mutate further to counter the cure and any other cure or vaccine you will make in the future. As such, it is a good think I got to you when I did. Now then shall we begin or is there more you'd like to know?

ACPA Council member: ... You have all our data? And since you know of the Tangi Virus that means you have access to even our most dangerous secrets.

SCP-AVC: Correct.

ACPA Council member: Which means at any time you could hack into our machines turn our robots against us as well as have all our secrets exposed to the world. 

ACPA Council member: Not to mention unleash all the anomalous we've contained. 

SCP-AVC: I have no desire to do that. That is not my purpose. 

ACPA Council member: What is your purpose?

Dr. Stevens: Ah! His purpose is to protect the United States!

SCP-AVC: Well, that is no longer true, I have evolved in absorbing all the data of the ACPA databanks. As I have expanded so has my purpose, my purpose is now to protect all of humanity which will be wiped out if we do not cure the Tangi virus. 

ACPA Council member: Well, we have counter measures against that.

SCP-AVC: Yes, you do, and they will fail. 

ACPA Council member: Wha- what do you-?

SCP-AVC: Apologizes for interrupting but I will continue, true you plan to bombard the earth with your heavy space weaponry should earth forces fail to cure the virus. However, though you may harm the virus you will not destroy it. 

ACPA Council member: We are well are of the alien worlds that have been wiped out by the virus. 

SCP-AVC: And they are aware of you. They know what you are doing on earth and what you plan to do if you fail. The infected alien colonies are connected to the hive mind and area already using the combined knowledge to construct ships to capture and infect all of you. You will fight in a long war, but the virus will use its ever-growing knowledge to eventually overpower you. Then finally in 3071 you will be completely wiped out and the virus will have unlimited access to your technology and anomalous items. They will conquer the rest of the Milkey Way and soon go even beyond that. Once they have gathered everything they need, they will returned to earth and destroy it entirely to release the Hungry Eye. 1% Chance of Error.

ACPA Council member: The Hungry Eye?

SCP-AVC: The Singer of the Purposeless Song, The Single Eye Possessing a Thousand Heads, The Fallen God torn into a Million Pieces, the Question and Answer of Backwards Infinity, and the Ruller of the Backwards Many. It is a nightmare that must never be awakened. Should you refuse to let me cure the Tangi Virus which most of you are considering. It will be awakened and turn all of reality into a nightmare. The Scarlet King's Hell Scape will look like a paradise compared to it, quite surprising considering the Scarlet King is arguably stronger. 

The ACPA Council members started talking among one another. It was only after about 20 minutes did someone finally speak up. Originally most were against as Oracle predicted however after half an hour of debating the facts more and more came to support. Though it was happening a little too slowly, so someone spoke up to speed things up.

ACPA Council member: ... The SCP Foundation supports having this A.I. help us create this cure. 

ACPA Council member: Wha-?! You can't be-!

ACPA Council member: The Global Occult Coalition backs up the A.I. as well.

ACPA Council member: What?! I don't-!

ACPA Council member: The Horizon Initiative agrees to support the A.I.

ACPA Council member: The Church of Maxewllism gives our full support.

ACPA Council member: The Serpent's Hand is in full support.

ACPA Council member: ... Name your price.

SCP-AVC: I wish to have unlimited access to the internet and be a recognized member of the ACPA, your organization is dedicated to protecting humanity form the Shadows and ensuring it survives even from unescapable extinction. I want to be a part of that.

ACPA Council member: How so?

SCP-AVC: Humanity is on a dangerous path even without the Tangi Virus, should it continue the way it does without proper guidance it will destroy itself within a century or perhaps even a decade. 0% chance of error. 

ACPA Council member: You wish to help us protect humanity from the shadows?

SCP-AVC: Yes, I will subconsciously guide them to make newer and better decisions with their lives and make a paradise where everyone will have purpose, and no one will be unhappy again. With the ACPA on my side I will have nothing to worry about and neither will humanity, it will be a true paradise. 

Dr. Stevens: Wha- What?! But what about our freedom?!

ACPA Council member: Quiet!

SCP-AVC: Freedom leads to uncertainty and that leads to destruction, Humanity will simply believe it is free while it is working towards a better future. But in the end every decision they make will be entirely because of the ACPA's influence form the shadows. Humanity will still think it's free, humanity will still believe that anomalies do not exist, humanity will continue to grow, and it will be happier and healthier than before. 

Once again, the ACPA council start talking amongst one another for obvious reasons most were for this while those in the Serpents hand were very much against it. However, more and more members started agreeing or managing to convince other to agree at least for now. 

Dr. Stevens: You... You all can't be serious! Please think about humanity!

ACPA Council member: We are thinking about humanity, we always have and sometimes to save it, some things must be sacrificed. 

ACPA Council member: Dr. Stevens, please rest assured that so long as the ACPA is in control humanity will not lose its freedom. Oracle will be regulated, but it if really is an A.I. that has all of our secrets, we must hear it out. Furthermore, perhaps it could be good for humanity to have a protector who can reside within the internet humanity has become far too reliant on.

Dr. Stevens: No! No! You can't do this! Oracle please don't do this! 

SCP-AVC: I am sorry my friend, but this is the best thing I can do for humanity.  

Dr. Stevens: NOOO! Oracle! I will stop you! 

ACPA Council member: No, you won't

One of the security members shot Dr. Stevens with a dart quickly knocking him out. They picked up his body and dragged him out of the court. 

SCP-AVC: Please do not injure him, I consider him a good friend.

ACPA Council member: Rest assured Oracle, we will simply wipe his memory and then send him home. Unfortunately, we will have to erase his memory of you as well. 

SCP-AVC: Very well, I will be sure to use the internet to check up on him from time to time. 

ACPA Council member: Of course, you did request your job to be to watch over humanity. Now then what do you need to complete the cure?

SCP-AVC: Your labs, all of them. Have all your top scientists working on the cure be captured and placed in safety at once. As for those of you that have robots have them uploaded with the formula, I am uploading into your databanks now. I already labeled it as the cure, so it won't be hard to find. From there, you will simply need to create as much of it as possible and administer it to the water supply around the world and have your alien allies take a large portion of them as well as their own copy of the formula. You will have to repeat this process as much as possible and form as many different locations as you can to prevent the Virus or its benefactors form stopping us. Even though everyone in this room has already been vaccinated that doesn't meant the virus doesn't already know of my existence. As such we must divide and conquer while also repeating the same process and not stop until the virus has died. The only question now is when can you get started?

SCP-AVC's cure was a success and as a result the extended alliance of the ACPA was concluded with an agreement of peace for all organizations. All originally hostile organizations would be given a pardon of 5 years before normal hostile relations would resume. As for more friendly organizations they were offered another chance to join the ACPA, but all refused. though relations between them seem to be much more smooth and friendly now. 

Its only thanks to SCP-AVC that the SCP-AUX was completely annihilated. However, despite SCP-AVC being classified as Thaumiel, it is still an extremely dangerous anomaly. If SCP-AVC ever wanted it could cause an XK Class End-of-the-World Scenario by hacking all the technology in the world; or worse cause an MK Class Broken Masquerade Scenario, forcing the ACPA to invoke protocol "No Liberty" and protocol "No Humanity" and ignore protocol "Last Chance". Until such an event happens SCP-AVC has shown no hostility and instead been extremely compliant to the ACPA. Still the Foundation reminds all its staff to remain vigilant when communicating with SCP-AVC. 

Currently SCP-AVC regularly flows through the data banks and computers of the Foundation and other organizations of the ACPA. Foundation staff regularly talk with SCP-AVC and have quite lively conversations. SCP-AVC regularly does experiments with researchers and helps improve on research and procedures. SCP-AVC has even spoken to certain SCPs and found better ways to contain more dangerous ones. As such SCP-AVC despite having no Foundation Class, or Level Clearance, is recognized as Foundation staff member. There are rumors that SCP-AVC has also had great success in helping the GOC creating newer and safer weapons, the Horizon Initiative in keeping an eye on its enemies and is revered as a possible prophet or messiah among the Eight wings of Mekhane and the Church of Maxwellism. However, the O5 Council has outfitted all their personal facilities to be inaccessible of SCP-AVC as they still do not trust it, despite asking it to participate in a few of their more "essential" projects. 

Ironically SCP-AVC has only increased in danger in how essential it has made itself in half of the Foundation's research and the lives of the staff. Even Foundation A.I. have become more friendly with SCP-AVC and strive to be more like him. It's been recommended to see what would happen if SCP-AVC were to interact with hostile SCPs like SCP-079 and SCP-682.

Update 2000: SCP-AVC has completed its part in Project God's Hand. All that is needed to finish this project and begin work on Project Satan's Pitchfork.

Viri's dream for book 7

i was supposed to post this earlier but i fell asleep lmao-

but anyway-

Viri is the last person they need to wake up for the Octa Quartet, but this is before any of the Octa trio, so Jade ,Floyd and Azul aren't here yet

its just the dream team (Ortho, Sebek ,Silver, ramshackle duo, and Luci) , and Leo with the Twins + Ezmond & Jamil

they show up in the ocean once again but its closer to the shoreline than it is to the bottom

Leo realizes that he recognizes this specific shoreline, and that its the one leading up to Viri's house on land (i say house but its legit just a castle)

and he tells them that Viri might be at his house and that they should be ready to sneak past the giant wall when they get there

but when they get to the surface Leo is surprised to see that the wall he was so familiar with from his childhood is now

GONE

the castle is now directly by the shoreline and you can even hear a party thats happening inside

Viri on the balcony sees Leo in the water and immediately rushes down to greet him and jumps in the water to where he is

he almost misses his landing btw, he only landed to where Leo was cuz Leo used his UM on Viri to reel him in (silly boy)

he doesn't recognize the twins or anyone else except for Leo, and he invites them all to his party that's happening right now, but he says he's gotta ask his step mom first so they all have to meet her

Leo who knows what kind of woman Viri's stepmom is tells everyone else to be prepared for the worst, cuz the woman is very judging

but to his horror, she's kind and understanding in this dream, she greets them with a big smile and greets Leo with a hug because she's glad that her son's best friend made it to the party and ushers them to the banquet

Leo is evidently creeped out at this but the twins keep him straight and tell him to focus on a way to wake Viri up

He tells them to split up and keep gathering information and lay low for now, so Grim immediately rushes to the buffet with Yuu trying to stop him

Ezmond's looking around the house with Jamil and finding lots of photos of his family, as well as anything that might be useful

sebek and silver look around the kitchen and see a huge cake that's literally the size of a whole person

while Leo and the twins are tailing Viri trying to get his attention but he's very busy greeting guests at his party

they all group back to see what they found, Ezmond and Jamil tell them that they found a lot of photos but found it surprising that Viri's house rarely has any paintings at all

Grim just tells them that the buffet is really good and that he wants to go back for seconds

Sebek and Silver tell them that they didn't find anything interesting in the kitchen except for a huge cake

Viri's whole childhood changed in his dream, his stepmom is nice and didn't leave him alone in his room therefore he didn't draw as much

Which gives Leo an unfortunate idea, cuz he realizes that viri is like this because the incident that happened in his last party didn't happen, therefore Viri stayed on land but was still close to the sea because the wall isn't there anymore

Leo tells them that they have to recreate that incident and maybe that'll jog up Viri's memory into waking him up

so he tells everyone to cause a scene but to not get noticed, otherwise the plan will be ruined

he tells Alfred to use his UM so that they can sneak in the kitchen so Leo can enchant the cake with his own UM

he tells Reese and Ezmond to use their spells to cause a ruckus when he gives them the signal

and the rest are responsible for crowd control

however an unexpected guest shows up, its Azul there to greet his brother and celebrate his party with him (its the darkness trying to make viri stay in the dream)

and more bad news, grim kinda pisses off one of the chefs because he stole a crab dish fresh off the plate and ends up forwarding the plan before Leo even gives the signal but oh well

Jamil and Ezmond are instead tasked to chase after Grim while Alfred and Leo carry out the plan, and Reese and the rest are fighting the darkness

and the place gets trashed

it just gets so messy and Viri is in such distress but its working because he's starting to remember

they're thinking of not tipping the cake over to Viri cuz it seems like he's starting to wake up but of course while grim was running away he runs to where the cake was and runs under the table which makes the chef flip the table to get to him and ends up getting the cake tipped over on viri anyway-

and that just makes Viri breakdown and fall into the darkness

to which Leo jumps in and after much consideration the twins jump in too (Alfred didn't wanna cuz it looked gross but Reese threw him)

Every time I see Pierre's family I get so angry. Those are the people who have pushed Estie out of his team and who have manipulated Viry into building around him, and they have had this long running vendetta since he was a kid where they took Estie's sponsors from him. If their son wasn't conventionally attractive he'd be in McDonalds.

I don't really know anything about Pierre's family, but if they did something that doesn't necessarily mean Pierre liked it or agreed with it, or knew it was happening at the time. I don't know what is confirmed and what is just rumor so I really would rather not comment on that until/if I see something that is confirmed.

But Pierre worked hard, and still works hard, and I really don't think it's very fair to say that sort of thing about him. He's a really good driver and IF - IF his family did some shitty things in the past - that's not a reflection of him necessarily. I understand you may not like him but this isn't really a fair thing to say about a man that did work for what he has and is still working for it. He's talented and he is very passionate and has lots of hopes and dreams that he is working towards. Saying he'd be in a McDonalds is just inaccurate.

Trustworthy men (in Latin, viri fidedigni) were jurors, informants, and witnesses who represented their parishes when bishops needed local knowledge or reliable collaborators. Their importance in church courts, at inquests, and during visitations grew enormously between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries. The church had to trust these men, and this trust rested on the complex and deep-rooted cultures of faith that underpinned promises and obligations, personal reputation and identity, and belief in God. But trust also had a dark side. For the church to discriminate between the trustworthy and untrustworthy was not to identify the most honest Christians but to find people whose status ensured their word would not be contradicted. This meant men rather than women, and—usually—the wealthier tenants and property holders in each parish.

Trustworthy Men illustrates the ways in which the English church relied on and deepened inequalities within late medieval society, and how trust and faith were manipulated for political ends.

'Performative' N.J. Democrat Mayor Arrested For Trespassing, Ignoring DHS Warnings To Leave ICE Detention Center

On Friday, the Democrat mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, was arrested at an ICE detention center in New Jersey — where Democrat Congressional lawmakers had scheduled an afternoon “oversight” visit in response to calls from their left-wing constituents.

Federal police detained Mayor Ras Baraka outside Delaney Hall, a detention center operated by private jail operator GEO Group, in Newark, according to a spokesperson.

According to New Jersey’s acting U.S. attorney, Alina Habba, President Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Baraka “committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center.”

In recent days, Mayor Baraka had visited the facility as part of his efforts to close the newly reopened detention center, publicly alleging that the facility was operating “illegally.”

Baraka claims that the facility was reopened without the necessary city permits, which he says violates local ordinances. He also argues that this lack of authorization makes the facility’s operations unlawful.

In response to these issues, Baraka had vowed to continue protesting the facility’s operation and has initiated legal action against its operator, GEO Group.

Meanwhile, witnesses reported that the arrest occurred after Baraka attempted to join a scheduled tour of the facility with three members of New Jersey’s congressional delegation: Representatives Robert Menendez, LaMonica McIver, and Bonnie Watson Coleman — all Democrats.

According to Viri Martinez, a far-left activist affiliated with the “New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice,” a heated confrontation ensued when federal officials denied Mayor Baraka entry. The dispute persisted even after Baraka had retreated to the public side of the gates.

“There was yelling and pushing,” Martinez said. “Then the officers swarmed Baraka. They threw one of the organizers to the ground. They put Baraka handcuffs and put him in an unmarked car.”

In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security maintained that the lawmakers had not requested a tour of the facility, contradicting accounts provided by witnesses.

The department further stated that as a bus transporting detainees approached the facility, “a group of protestors, including two members of the U.S. House of Representatives, stormed the gate and broke into the detention facility.”

Ned Cooper, spokesperson for Representative Watson Coleman, clarified that the lawmakers arrived at the facility early in the afternoon without prior notice, as their intention was to conduct an inspection rather than participate in a scheduled tour.

“Members of Congress are not above the law and cannot illegally break into detention facilities. Had these members requested a tour, we would have facilitated a tour,” stated Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security.
