It was taken toward the end of his 2018 tour. (June 23, 2018 Thank you @gettingdizzy-oh) I think it was just a night out. There are a couple of other photos of H playing pool from the same night that I think were taken by his friend, Waseem.

«Issued in Arabic by the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Centre in January 1997, this pamphlet includes the music program presented by the Center in cooperation with the National Conservatory of Music under the title "Palestine Through the Melody and the Word", on 18 January 1997, in which Tania Tamari Nassar sang in the solo singing category, and Rima Nasser Tarazi played a key role in the composition. The concert included 9 songs, the lyrics of which belong to Kamal Nasser, Mahmoud Darwish, Waseem al-Kurdi and Suhail Khoury, who was a guitarist at the concert. Then the pamphlet presents an overview of the life and artistic career of each of them, and part of the program's content is translated at the end.»

wada sez: Now, according to the Transformers: The Lost Seasons deviantART account in the comments for this strip: “This is just the start of our bigger "Girls' Night Out" saga; there should be one more coming soon from Mosaic, the others are still in the making.” This was Bashar’s final Mosaic contribution; the two followups, focused on Road Rage and Chromia, were instead written solely by Juan Pablo Osorio. Weirdly, all of these strips are completely absent from the actual deviantART gallery for The Lost Seasons. Presumably, had further strips materialised, they would have followed a similar formula for other female characters, such as the rest of the “Female Autobots” from “The Search for Alpha Trion”. In that episode, Moonracer was paired up with Powerglide (presumably a last-minute toy-selling substitute for her namesake Sunstreaker); in this strip, it’s implied that Powerglide is busy with Astoria Carlton-Ritz, “The Girl Who Love Powerglide”. Tracks had a turn as a movie star in “Hoist Goes Hollywood”, where he wore the alien mask seen here. The Marvel Comics story “Monstercon from Mars!” is also cited as an influence. Moonracer’s disdainful description of the movie’s events is an oblique reference to the much-maligned Revenge of the Fallen. See below for Moonracer’s character model, transformation, and clean inks for the whole strip. Now, just to give one final piece of notice before tomorrow’s strip: you may want to block the tag “cw transphobia” to avoid it, if you’d rather not see content of that nature; speaking personally, I find it upsetting and wish I hadn’t read it, but I’m a slave to this archive, so I had no choice!

Abu sal entered, with chants of "Free Palestine” breaking out loudly.

"I promise you I will continue training in the coming four years till 2028, which I hope is the year I get a medal. I came here to grab a medal but that is sport and God willing, I will fight again. In four year’s time, I will raise the Palestinian flag over the podium,” Abu Sal said.

Ibrahim said “I tried to turn it around. It’s an honour for me to be the one to fight the first Palestinian boxer to enter at the Olympics. He’s not only representing his people and his country. He’s representing every oppressed nation in the world. Right now, Palestine is in the face of oppression so he has a big burden on his shoulders.”

Abu Sal was one of two flag-bearers for the Palestinian delegation.

His white shirt had embroidered images of warplanes dropping missiles over children playing sport.

"This shirt represents the current picture in Palestine," Abu Sal told AFP on Saturday. "The children who are martyred and die under the rubble, children whose parents are martyred and are left alone without food or water."

Abu Sal lives in the West Bank and was unable to train with his Cairo-based coach. A Gazan who cannot travel to him due to Israeli restrictions.
