As a dev, can confirm.
I've used multiple dev- or sysadmin-oriented software without understanding what they were for, but they were needed by some other parts of the system.

The new fables about the stars made me think much more about Nanook and THEIR connection to the Trailblaze, so I want to talk about it.
The entire story of Honkai Star Rail is marked by two Aeons, Akivili and Nanook. We play as the Nameless, retracing the steps of the missing Aeon of Trailblaze. And our journey seems closely tied to destruction, the Trailblazer carries a Stellaron within them, which is heavily theorized to be connected to the Path of Destruction. Nanook was the first Aeon to cast THEIR gaze upon us, and so far, every planet we’ve visited bears fragments of destruction in some form.
Nanook is said to be the youngest of the Aeons. They were born on Adlivun, a planet devastated by the Emperor War and the Swarm Disaster. Interestingly, Akivili visited Adlivun before Nanook ascension, and even more curiously, disappeared suddenly around the same time.
Tumblr media
In the Swarm Disaster, we see intriguing artwork of a person with dark skin, bright hair, bandaged arms, and golden blood. It unmistakably evokes Nanook. This figure also holds an Astral Express ticket, and it looks like someone else may have given it to them. (Was it perhaps Akivili?)
In the Simulated Universe, Fuli appears to show us Nanook memories as a human
Tumblr media
“Reaching out to catch a shooting star” and “You laughed at the exploration.” The Astral Express often appears as a shooting star, and exploration is central to the Trailblaze. It really seems like Nanook, in THEIR human life, was either a Nameless, or at the very least, someone who tried to walk the Path of Trailblazing.
In game, we’re told that “Nanook probably ignited their own home.” That word probably is especially interesting. Maybe Adlivun burned because Nanook ascended. Or maybe Nanook ascended because Adlivun burned, who knows.
In Fables About the Stars, Celenova says, “Trailblazing always ends up igniting something, no?” Did Akivili caused the spark that ultimately triggered Nanook ascension? It’s entirely possible.
Kafka tells us that our goal is to destroy Nanook. If Akivili played a role in Nanook ascension, it would only be fitting for the Trailblazers recreating Akivili steps to try to fix THEIR mistake.

It's Offical... The Kno.8 Brain Rot has reached critical levels.
I just woke up from a dream where I was running around in ancient medieval, vampire infested Venice and as I come out a side alley, I see a brightly lit stall. I walk over to it and it's FUCKING KAFKA selling KAIJU NUMBER 8 MERCH (as well as ATLA merch for some fucking reason?)
The dream ended before I could buy anything.... Still was a lovely man.

can you explain what szpd is from the perspective of someone who has it?
szpd from the perspective of a schizoid is having a difficult time expressing and feeling different emotions, to the point that I usually just describe myself as "empty" because the way I feel emotions is much different than non-schizoids. I'm also not "empty" all the time, emotion (or a schizoids version of emotion) can visit, but it's not often.
I prioritize my worlds I've created through daydreaming, and will go hours in these worlds. I don't need external validation much, if any at all. I have literally caught myself thinking "Why does the outer world matter if I have these worlds inside of me? I could just daydream all day!"
I don't really care for socializing, but will do it to make the people around me feel more comfortable and less awkward. (Also I have only recently learned that when asked how your day was, you are socially obligated to ask the question back! Who knew!)
Some schizoids will be different with their experience obviously, so this is just one of many examples.

When did the Dance Marathon take place exactly? Based on the color of the leaves and the fact that Thanksgiving is too episodes later I assumed at the beginning/middle November but why does Lorelai say that Rory is 17 the episode after? People never round other people's ages down, like okay in the pilot she said Rory was 16 when Rory was short of her 16th birthday, but you almost never see this happen in reverse. It is also highly unlikely that Lorelai would make a mistake in her only child's age! So did the Dance Marathon take place at the beginning of October, before Rory's birthday?
Which leads me to my next question - did Jess and Rory celebrate each other's 18th birthdays together? Just two episodes before that Jess needed Luke to sign a paper for him because he's a minor. So did they celebrate both of their birthdays together and we didn't get to see it?

Isao becoming the monster to ensure the later generation's survival is how Kikoru lose her daddy and how Narumi finds his father figure

So a singularity is when 2 abilities cancel each other and make a brand new one.
Fyodor made a tripolar singularity made out of The Holy Sword, Amenogozen and Fukuchi. Which prolly means Fyodor is controlling said singularity. So he can travel time and space, and this is amplified by Fukuchi, BUT also some other thing that we don't know yet.
Also, Fyodor is possessing Bram. Bram is the King of Vampires, so he can control all the vampires. Which means that Fyodor can control all the vampires. Fun fact: HALF OF THE MAFIA MEMBERS ARE VAMPIRES. Unless Bram died which means that the vampires come back to normal. But wait! If that happens it means that Akutagawa comes back. But then wouldn't that mean he's dead??
Chuuya and Dazai are still in Meursault. Which is a prison in France. And who else is in France and could have access to the Meursault? Adam. Adam manga debut???
Meursault is a prison in France. But it is also a character from "The Stranger" by Albert Camus. New character??
Also, now it's obvious that Dazai is the only one that can kill Dostoievsky. But Dazai doesn't kill anymore, right? Yeah, I bet he will kill Fyodor. But how will he get there in time??? And like, when Sskk will fight him they have to make sure they don't kill Fyodor. 'Cuz otherwise they're screwed. What I don't know is what happens if they kill Fukuchi.
And they should just get Chuuya to end Genshin Impact Fukuchi.
Also, what about Nikolai? Where is he? Is he still in Meursault? Or did he leave? He didn't know Fyodor's ability because otherwise he wouldn't have made that game. But what if the poison kicked in before and Fyodor would have been killed by Nikolai?? And I know we were all waiting for Nikolai antagonist arc, but I think we're getting Nikolai redemption arc instead.
And if Fyodor's ability is the possessing thing, how the fuck did he kill Karma and everyone else on the ship??? Like, we know he killed that one cop with Nathaniel's ability, but what about Karma??? He wasn't working with Nathaniel back then!
Also, do you think Fyodor's goal rn is to possess Atsushi? I mean, Fedya is sure Sushi is the only one that knows where the book is. So like of he gets over Sushi he will know how to get the book.
And how come Dazai and Ranpo didn't see this coming??? Can't Ranpo figure out anything in under 60 seconds????
Also, you know how every time we see someone become a vampire their neck is bitten? (Aku bit Higuchi's neck, she bit Gin's neck etc). Well, Aku didn't bite Jouno's neck. He bit his shoulder. So Jouno is not a vampire. But he's not dead either. He's just passed out somewhere. He's gonna wake up and come beat Fukuchi's ass. I just hope someone tells him abt Dostoievsky's ability before he tries to kill Fyodor.
And why was Fukuchi still alive after his throat was cut and he was stabbed so many times but Akutagawa didn't get to live after his neck was cut???
So long story short: Everyone is fucked and I'm losing it.

i hate being self-aware (i'm not, really, and i don't know why i'm saying this; or why suddenly i'm correcting myself and making an attempt at using proper punctuation; here, would you look at that, an oversaturation of semicolons; what a ciceronian sentence this has become; how so.)
