#TransparencyPost This year was an exciting year for us. In 2019, we released our very first book and became self-published authors. This year we both gained new clients! We also began our clothing line as a strategy to promote mental health awareness! We were booked for a few seminars/workshops/speaking engagements. Lastly, both co-founders of S.T.E.P.S. Counseling & Consulting decided to take a leap of faith and quit their full-time job to become full time entrepreneurs! This was all done while working towards completing our doctoral degree and dealing with life in general (including both co-founders moving, one of the co-founders becoming a #mom for a second time then battling with #postpartum and the other co-founder having a #miscarriage). So yes, we are proud of our accomplishments but it was not easy! There was a lot of late nights, crying, wanting to give up, doubt, etc. However, it was our faith in God, faith in each other and the #LOVE and #SUPPORT of STEPSisters & STEPSbrothers (our followers, friends, family, clients and customers). We are truly grateful for every purchase, like, comment, and repost! The support we received was more than we ever imagined, so we just want to truly say THANK YOU‼️ We are filled with gratitude and truly appreciate each of you🙏🏽🙌🏽💫 We also decided to be #transparent because we are licensed counselors but we go through things also. That’s what makes us human. That’s what makes us relatable. That’s why we fight so hard to be mentally healthy ourselves and promote mental health awareness so much! We have to be healthy so we can help our clients become mentally healthy! So we are S.T.E.P.S.
