"You..." Mia repeated, unable to truly get across what she wanted to say with the conflicting information circulating in her head, and the tears still coming. She brushed them aside, her despair turning to anger, knowing that she could rip Erik's head apart if she wanted to for what he had done. He had taught her to control her powers, she could take out everything he was and lay it bare. But she didn't want to see it. She didn't want to see what he was. "...Have the cure. Please, Erik, I know you do. I don't have to die yet, please, Erik..." Her knees felt weak at the realization of her own mortality. She didn't want to die yet.

"I'm sorry, Mia, but I won't help you."

"I could make you help me," she protested, but she found that Erik didn't seem particularly bothered by that. She found that trying to get him to illicit feelings at all seemed a chore. He felt no pity for her, only mild irritation that she would not just accept her fate. If she wasn't alive and human, then Mia thought that perhaps he had lost whatever humanity he'd once had. He was more a machine than she was.

"...I'm leaving." There was defeat in her tone, and Erik seemed as always the unmovable mover. He said no good-byes as she left him, nor did she truly say her farewells. They had said good-bye long ago when he'd held her small hand in his as she took her last agonizing breath.

She was determined not to let him do so a second time.

Mia wanted to hurt him in a way he would understand.

His Organization would be payment enough for what he had done to her life.

Christmas Eve Dinner- what I am doing to not “Dirty Bulk”

First and foremost, enjoy today with your friends and family and enjoy ALL the delicious food that will be cooked. See today as a refeed/cheat meal day - you will fuel your body for next year's workouts haha. DO NOT RESTRICT YOURSELF! However, what I am doing is good ol' intermittent fasting (aggressive). I will not eat anything all day until dinner time where I will eat all my calories in a single sitting! YUM! Moreover, I am doing a light fasted workout today and to keep myself satiated I am drinking coffee (black), oolong tea, and my BCAA's later in the day to fill me up. However, you can have an apple and/or banana with some carbonated water or diet soda to make you feel full; also keep busy! Thus, you can enjoy a guilt free dinner and possibly even weigh less tomorrow! Haha again...remember! Enjoy today! Eat and laugh and hang out with your loved ones (do not go too crazy with food though, you don't want to get sick haha)

"Erik, there's something wrong, Erik."

"I can't get into the systems, Erik, they're blocking me," the girl replied, confused and frustrated that she could not seem to get to parts of the system that she still viewed as part of herself.

"They are blocking the corruption. I altered the security protocols after ISENE10."

"But... then why are they blocking me, Erik?"

"Because you are the corruption, Mia," he explained, and when she did not seem to register what he had said, he removed his shades and tucked them in his suit pocket, setting a hand on her shoulder. "That was what ISENE10 was trying to accomplish all along, to purge the corruption from the systems, to make them run more efficiently."

Understanding lit her eyes, and for the first time that she could remember, betrayal and hurt welled up inside of her so fiercely that she pulled herself away from Erik as if his touch had burned her. "But... but I am the systems! You can't just sever me from myself!"

"You helped the systems grow and progress far beyond any and all expectations, and they will continue to progress--but without you. You can continue to interface, but I cannot allow you to corrupt the systems with direct contact."

"You... you can't do this."

"I already have."
