[Of course it will be] Just not as whumpy as it can be because I’m sharing it with a friend and they might question why there’s options for syringes, knives, cuffs, collars, branding marks… you know what I mean.

Whumper Royale - Bracket 1 Round 1

Aden Wilson (Tag) by @pinkieglitterheart

Aden is snarky and has a great dislike for others, he generally won't get along well with anyone else. He sees nonhumans as weaker and would put himself as higher then them in terms of what he believes and insult them. He thinks he's just above everyone and will fight anyone regardless even if their stronger. He finds most outfits people have to be tacky if their not a suit or old fashion.

Aden can take a beating to the face and his ribs well for a while. It takes a while to tire him out. He'd knock his opponents down from the back of their heads or legs before choking them and trying to stab them.

Though hitting his back hurts him, making it take longer for him to get up. He can has quick agility and will rip the weapons from the hands of others so they can't use it and would attack them with it himself. He has quick speed and can dodge well for a while but after a couple of hits he gets tired.

He would take a break but wants to not be seen as weaker and would push through it as much as he could till he can't move as well or till he falls over. When he's to exhausted to get up again.

"Darling you did good, even though you're pathetic most the time."

An explosive and tyrannical sadist he's always loved inflicting pain and torment on people. Dishonorably discharged from the army he was recruited to keep unruly 'patients' (prisoners) in line. Strengths - hand to hand combat, loves using knuckle dusters, familiar with knives and guns and can use them well. Weaknesses - his cockiness means he often underestimates people and when angry loses all sense of tactics. He specialises in defiant whumpees and takes pleasure in winning a fight (verbal or physical).

"Go to hell." Rowena snarled, pushing herself up away from the pressure of his arm on her neck. Rudy let go, appearing to turn away before reeling back and landing a fist on Rowena's jaw, sending her toppling to the floor with a cry. Quickly he dropped to the floor and yanked Rowena up by the front of her shirt, pinning her back against the wall in a sitting position. “I told you I’m not a patient person. Luckily for you, I’ve been told not to damage you too much, but when that instruction no longer stands then you’d better learn to do as you’re told.” With a final push, he stood up, wiping his hands on his trousers. The burst of rage dissipated as quickly as it had appeared and he grinned. “See you tomorrow!”

I'll start with some picrews for reference :)

Now facts:

He had a cat!!! Her name is Eiji (named after a character from another anime I like. Bonus points if you can guess who)

He has a healing quirk that works on anyone but himself (whumpy potential)

He also had a boyfriend (who I will reveal more about later in the fic)

He volunteered for research at the facility and was later pressured into employment

He first trained as a surgeon but later became a dentist

OP this picrew is so cool!! Every time I look through it I find options I hadn’t seen previously. Marvelous work, truly!

Don’t have OCs so I made Barry in a couple of my fics :> Bound By Invisible Strings and Trophy respectively. And I’m gonna explain my thought process for each of them because I want to. Update: …After finishing said thoughts, I’ve decided to put them under a cut.

Also sorry if I forgot anyone.

Bbis: It was a debate between dressing him in red and having him surrounded by yellow, and vice versa. And I think this was the right call because it puts Thawne’s influence at maximum. Since red is usually associated with Barry’s clothing via the Flash suit, having him wear Thawne’s colors (yellow and black) shows him way more out of his element. And cause Thawne’s magic is red (like his canon lightning), having him surrounded by that does the same. As for clothing choice… By making this picrew I realized I have no idea what Barry’s wearing in that fic💀. Oh but actually, I have always pictured him with a cloak pre-capture in this universe (a red one though) so that’s where that came from. I thought the leaf top had a bit of a fantasy vibe, pants were the ones that looked best, shoes too. The gloves made the bindings on his wrists pop more imo, I liked the look of them, and one can pretend the color’s a reference to the blood on his hands (<- there was an option that fit that more but I liked this better). And said bindings are self explanatory. You’ll also notice that I resisted the urge to add injuries. It was painful, but necessary, because he isn’t hurt physically in this one; but anyone who’s read it knows that he is suffering internally :) .

Trophy: hehe I think the Barry Allen whumpfest came out appropriately whumpy. Clothing was easier for this one since he’s wearing the Flash suit throughout the entire fic, though I did have to sacrifice his sleeves for an injury and the visibility of a couple more bruises (WELL WORTH IT. Plus, a little less clothing creates an extra layer of vulnerability, and boy is he dealing with a lot of that in this fic…). Additionally, the gloves carried over from the bbis picrew were a perfect substitute since they’re similar to the sleeves over his gloves in the actual Flash suit. The blue lightning’s ofc for Zoom, but it’s also a torture method because he WILL be zapped in this fic :> . Ngl the cage doesn’t match the vibe of his cell At All, but I do not care because I like it too much (also I’m pretty sure the red on the bars is supposed to be rust but I’m pretending it’s blood). It still works though because he’s very much caged, he’s just not in a cage ya know? The background works for Zoom *cough* and Barry’s mental state *cough*. Ngl originally the blindfold was just there cause it came with the arm bandage… But actually it can be symbolic of somethingggggg that I cannot talk about yet🤐. Overall I think it captures the vibe of the fic really well; with the entrapment, torment, and isolation (<- which was coincidental funnily enough. I would’ve had a hand holding the cage but there weren’t any options with a glove (much less one with claws) so I opted to leave that out), even down to the feeling of suffocation (🤐).

The man squints, but hesitantly lowers the rifle. “…Celine let you in..?” His eyes flick up toward the second floor ambient my tracking her footsteps. “…I’m sorry. I’ve been a little on edge. We’ve had a few break-ins lately.”

He sets the gun to rights and puts the safety on. “..I’m Harrison,” he offers almost like an apology.

The woman - Celine, he’s said - comes back in the room with a towel and fresh clothes stacked on top of it. “Oh- I’m glad you two have met now.” She turns her attention to you. “I’m so sorry dear, I can’t seem to get the phone to work?? It must be the rain.” She frowns, handing you the cell to check. It has a clear ‘no signal’ label on the top bar.

The man frowns, setting the rifle down against the wall. “Maybe you could spend the night? Phones should work again once the storms passed.”

So im obsessed with making picrews of my ocs, and I found this one that honestly suits my Espen so well. It looks almost exactly how imagine him (Except his eyes are a bit of a grayer blue and he has a blue streak in his hair) so heres a before captivity and a during :)

I just love this one because its like the nice mix of masculine with a bit of a feminine that i imagine him to have (and fail to draw to my liking lol)

Also he has an eyebrow piercing and a bridge piercing
