WHAT IS PAVED IN ASHES ABOUT?

You're only 20 when suddenly your life goes bam! Throwing you into a whole new city, a different country even. Wasn't part of the plan, but you know how life loves to mess with plans. People happened, stuff happened, and suddenly you're on the move. The new chapter ahead? Buckle up, 'cause it's not gonna be all sunshine and rainbows. And guess what? Your step-mom? Yeah, she's right there in the same city. She's always had this knack for trying to steer your ship, like every decision's a GPS checkpoint. But hey, there's this one thing that's never let you down—your skateboard. It's like the buddy that's been with you through thick and thin, the one that never bails. Among all this craziness it's like your anchor. So, the big question is—can you break out of the loop you got in? Find your place in the world and restart or lose yourself in temptation? Time to find out.

What's going on in Chapter 1?

First full day...and night in Hamburg, Germany.

Have breakfast with your stepmother...if you feel like it.

Go shopping & check out the local skate shop.

Take a lunch break, enjoy some tasty food and make a call?

Visit the "Hafengeburtstag" or go home early...

What else do you need to know?

You'll be able to meet up to 6 strangers, depending on your choices.

Use your time wisely, because you can't meet nor see everything on the way.

1. ULTIMATE UPDATE of 2025

Hello everybody,

as you might have noticed, updates and posts have been scarce in the last weeks / months. This is due to some huge changes and events in my private life.

Like I mentioned in some minor updates before, I didn't have much time nor possibilities to write on my IF(s). But this changed now. I have more than enough time now...

And I cannot wait to use this to make my comeback and return with more and better content than before.

You wanna know what this includes? Let me give you a lil insight.

The Demo of PiA will still—as far as I can guess at this point—be updated this month. The exact date will be announced soon. It's a huge one (imo), consisting of overall ca. 150k words (Prologue & Chapter 1)—hooray! > Current status 19.03.25: Finished Editing, Now: Coding & Playtesting

I will finish up the Socials, Profiles and more here on Tumblr in the next weeks & months—after the demo update.

I will sacrifice my sanity and mental health and present my game on the infamous CoG Forum—cause yolo.

The Character Art will be continued and posted on PiA's discord—rawwwwwrrrr.

A Masterplan and Q&A for an upcoming Patreon will follow in the weeks after the Demo Drop—woot woot?

Say Oracle wants a kiss, but is just a flustered festering mess and just looks upset when looking at the RO and just looks away/down when they look at them. Oracle can’t seem to find the courage to ask without looking like a doofus.

I'll write it like they're a relationship; if they weren't, they wouldn't assume what the Oracle wants.

Vez can guess what you want, though they're not 100% certain. They think you're adorable and want to tease you a little, though they won't do anything before making sure they're reading you right. They caress your cheek as they speak, "My heart, is something on your mind?" They lean closer, observing your reaction. "If it's me…" By that point they want to kiss you so much they forget they planned to tease you.

Os holds your chin in a light grip and gives you a passionate but short kiss. When they stop, they don't move away. "Is this what you wanted?" they whisper against your lips. "Should I continue?" The situation might escalate quickly.

Laz smiles and pulls you closer, hugging you. They twirl your hair around their finger or caress your cheek. "You seem to be in low spirits. What has upset you? You tell me, I'll help you deal with it." They know what's up, they just want to tease you, lol. They won't give you a kiss for a while, but at least it'll be worth it when they do. Or you can take matters into your own hands; they won't mind.

Ash notices your strange behavior, but they don't realize the reason behind it. They take your hands and look at you with obvious concern. "What's wrong? You seem upset. Did something happen?" If you answer, their cheeks flush. But once they gather a bit of courage, they'll oblige you with a kiss.

Az is always rather straightforward, but mostly because they want to satisfy your desires well. "Do you want a kiss?" If you say yes, they pull you into one, holding you tightly. Their hands caress your back, your sides, your waist—they can't stop touching you. They want to make you forget about everything, but they're usually the one who forget about everything but you.
