I don't know why but I don't think there are any weird scorpions at all

like every animal group (except for those small ones where all the members are closely related) has at least one weirdo. even pseudoscorpions and whip spiders have one! (that cave dwelling one with long arms. whip spiders also have a weirdo cave dweller)

but for some reason I can't find any weird scorpion. all of them look the same! the only differences are the proportions and what shade of brown or yellow they are. when I search for weird scorpions I always get that prehistoric one with gills, eurypterids and unrelated arachnids

are there just no weird scorpions on earth??????

I thought everyone in the mousegirl setting was rodent-sized until you said otherwise. So it's a Dr DeSoto/Zootopia sort of idea where different species are to-scale? If you're just super biased in favor of rodents, that's a bonus.

Rodents (& other assorted small furry critters) are more or less rodent sized, people are people sized, other animals including larger mammals aren't significantly different than they would be to us. So, cats/horses/goldfish/eagles don't walk on two human-shaped legs or wear clothes. I don't know if they can speak mouse or not, but what would a cat want to say to a mouse anyways?

This is my second draft of layout of the apartment above Bob’s Burgers. This time with a color key eye droppered directly from screen shots in order to be as accurate a reference as possible.

Underneath each room label I’ve included a color swatch of:

1. The main wall color

2. The main trim color

3. The main door color if different from trim color

This is still not 100% accurate and somethings surrounding that staircase are just never going to make sense. Particular areas of concern are the hallway closet/ washing machine, the opposite side of Bob and Linda’s room, general spatial issues, and updating Louise’s room for the loft bed.

Superman the Animated Series just feels better than any of DC's other 90s shows. And here's why: it has only around 5 bad episodes, while Batman the Animated Series has at least 30 or 40 and Justice League had at least 20. The ratios on these other shows display shoddy craftsmanship. But if you made 54 episodes and only four or five of them are nearly unwatchable, that should really indicate that you're doing something right. Also, most of the bad episodes only show up late in the show's run. But Batman the Animated Series was bad on a consistently sporadic basis. One episode is good, then the next is trash. Superman doesn't have that problem. I just feel like the superman show worked better in terms of tone and writing. Tim Daly actually really sells his acting, unlike Kevin "Mr. Always Stoic" Conroy over at Batman. Tim Daly understood how to better appeal to my personal sense of style. Mark Hamill and Arleen Sorkin are like two of the only actors from Btas who understood what I wanted out of that show. No darkness. I want a good blend of action/adventure and comedy. And the Superman show delivered that to me.

PS: If someone pitched me a Superman show based on the 60s, the same way Batman had Batman: The Brave and The Bold, that would've been pure bliss for me. That should be the next superman animated project. Something with all the surreal but warmhearted charm of the 60s.

I am digging my teeth hard into this Pokemon Fic draft now because I remembered my love for Gen V followed by how I had a plot line drafted from highschool where we follow a Team Plasma Grunt/Agent who was sent out to try and convince the Gym Leaders to release their Pokemon after N fights them and gets his own badges.

I assume you mean more like warlocks, which work a bit differently in the Kverse; instead of the patron being the sole font of the warlock's power, the patron entity enables the warlock to tap into the power of their own immortal soul, granting them the knowledge to shape that magical energy for whatever purpose they require, typically in exchange for the right to claim that soul upon death. It's the sinister, corner-cutting cousin of ki/chi manipulation and projection - all of the power, none of the discipline usually required to unlock it.

The Diamonds definitely qualify as sufficiently powerful magical entities, so either method would theoretically work - that is, of course, assuming one of the Diamonds even deigned to hear you out.
